Payal and The Artisan team is amazing. All catering is done in house, and guests raved about the food. It is beautiful and can be left simple or re-created with your own decor. Payal is professional and makes the process simple by supplying all the info you need, even helping out the day of. It is a wonderful place to get married, and the service is incredible.
We couldn’t have been happier with our experience at The Artisan as our wedding venue! Payal, in particular, made our day absolutely perfect. She was available to meet with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, which helped us visualize everything and work through the details. No request was too small—she truly went above and beyond to make sure both the bride and groom were taken care of.
The venue itself is reasonably priced, and their bar package was by far the best we found during our search. Payal also ran our rehearsal with the bridal party and checked in with us frequently on the big day, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. The food was great and the bar tenders kept the line moving so everyone could get back to the dance floor!
Our guests loved the goats, which added such a fun and unique element to the day. The tiny homes on the property were a wonderful addition, offering a cozy and convenient place for us, our family, and the bridal party to stay. We ended the night with a bonfire that was all set up for us!
We wholeheartedly recommend The Artisan to anyone searching for a fantastic wedding venue!
My now husband & I had our wedding ceremony & reception at The Artisan Venue. From the inside, out this venue is so beautiful & we kept decorations to a minimum because the venue basically speaks for itself and does not need much extra. The food is AMAZING & everyone raved about it! Payal, the venue coordinator, was there for every need. Seriously, this girl goes above & beyond! She was at my beck & call from the moment we booked the venue. Anything I needed, she was there. She deserves the most recognition & thanks for helping make sure our day ran exactly as it was supposed to!! There are 5 tiny homes on the property that we rented out that allowed friends & family from afar to stay in. The tiny homes are cozy & beautifully decorated! I couldn’t recommend this place more.
We had the most special experience getting married at The Artisan at Baetje Farms. Payal Patel was our day of coordinator, and helped us plan every step of the way. I cannot say enough about how this sweet girl went above and beyond for us. I will never forget how sweet and helpful she was, and how amazing she is at her job. We truly felt like we were being treated like royalty from the second we booked, but especially the day of the wedding. I cannot even tell you how many of our guests complimented this venue, even given that most of them had to drive about an hour. Once you get to the beautiful venue, you don't even care how far the drive is. We feel so lucky that we got to have our wedding at such a special place. Baetje Farms is a very special place to my whole family, and we are so thankful for everyone from Payal, her amazing team, the chef, staff, and the GOATS! :)
The venue was everything we ever dreamed of, from a beautiful place to an amazing staff. This was truly the best experience we could have possibly wished for. The staff was extremely helpful, professional, sweet, caring and literally went above and beyond to make our day so special. We highly recommend celebrating your special day here!
Payal was incredibly helpful and the staff was very accommodating. They are not the cheapest option, but for the service and quality of venue you get they are very much worth it! I’ve toured a few different places that were more expensive and less of what I wanted, but the Artisan was the perfect place for me. And my guests all loved the goats!
We absolutely loved working with the Artisan for our big day! From the planning stages to the day of, I could not have asked for a better experience with them. Amanda was great at answering any questions I had up throughout our planning process and Payal was so helpful the day of our rehearsal and the day of our wedding! The food there is amazing as well - and the tastings were so fun! I would also love to shoutout our bartender, though I don't know her name! I had misunderstood that the kid's meal was the same food provided for the rest of our guests and when our very picky flower girl was sad about it, the bartender went and got her some carrot sticks and chicken strips! It was such a kind thing for her to offer and our flower girl really appreciated it!
Overall the venue and the tiny homes are absolutely beautiful and we had a great experience working with the Artisan and the whole team there!
We had the BEST day at The Artisan- Baetje Farms. Payal Patel is the most wonderful day of coordinator at the venue. She answered multiple emails leading up to the day as random questions popped into my head. She scheduled and jumped on a phone call if I felt it would have been easier to talk my way through things. She was thorough, and she ensured that the day would go perfectly, as it did.
Payal granted us early access to the bridal suite, and she was there at 7:30 AM to start tackling any tasks that we needed extra hands with. She and the staff worked tirelessly to clean the Bloomsdale suite as soon as the previous night’s guests left so that my husband and the groomsman could get in as early as possible to hang out and do all of the ‘guy things’ there are to do on the morning of your wedding.
Payal graciously communicated with all of our vendors when they arrived and fused everyone together to ensure a smooth day. It is amazing how you can communicate with so many different vendors who have no communication amongst themselves, and everyone shows up on the big day and comes together seamlessly. This was a big testament to all of the work that Payal did.
When it was time for guests to arrive, Payal ensured that everyone was in their seats for the start of the ceremony, and she stood near the end of the aisle and helped our bridal party time their turn to walk. Immediately after the ceremony, she and the workers had dinner set up, and they served guests through the buffet in such a timely manner. Guests were SO satisfied with the food (particularly the chicken mudegia). After guests were done with dinner, the team started to immediately collect plates and clean. At the end of the night, Payal took the time to find me before she left.
Our experience at The Artisan was absolutely beautiful, and we had the best day ever. So many guests complimented the venue space. The goats were a huge hit amongst our guests during cocktail hour! This was a fun, unique touch that not many venues can offer. Our wedding was at the beginning of June, and the covered patio shaded and cooled our guests and provided stress free planning when it came to any last minute changes in weather. There were so many different photo ops on the property, and our photographer utilized them all. We cannot wait to get back our gallery and see the beautiful spaces of Baetje Farms.
If we could do it all again, we wouldn’t change a thing about our venue. Thank you to Payal and all of the helping hands at Baetje Farms. We will never forget our day!
We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Artisan and everything was PERFECT! Payal was amazing to work with and was very quick to respond to questions we had leading up to the day and the day of. I felt very stress free our whole wedding day and that is because the team at The Artisan was so helpful and on top of everything! We would highly recommend The Artisan to anyone!
Not only is this place gorgeous, but all the staff is absolutely wonderful. We had such an amazing time, and loved every minute.
We decided to get married at the Artisan and definitely made the right decision! Our wedding day was the best - and the venue and property are just so beautiful. Everyone talked about how delicious dinner was, and we had the best time celebrating. Also recommend booking the tiny homes! Highly recommend!
The Artisan was such a beautiful venue for my daughters wedding. Amanda was so accommodating with all of our last minute guest changes. All of our guests complimented the beautiful venue.
Holy cow! There are so many good things to say about The Artisan. First off, it’s just beautiful. The entire property is wonderful and breathtaking. Add in the goats, and that’s what sold me!
The days leading up to the wedding, I met Allie who was my coordinator the morning of the wedding. She helped me get my decor into storage since they were flipping the venue for me. The morning of, she met me and was in the best of moods at 8 AM! Throughout the entire day she just kept surpassing my expectations. Which for me is huge as I am a day of wedding coordinator myself. I went into the day thinking I’d be doing a lot of managing myself, but Allie was on it! She even stored my desserts and set them up for me - which I was NOT expecting!!!
Cassie (goodness I hope I spelled that right) was in charge of the evening portion of the reception and everything for dinner was so smooth. She was so complimentary of my theme and decor - really made me feel good!
The rest of the staff was wonderful - including the Chef! He came directly up to me and my husband and asked us if we wanted a second plate! The food was AMAZING! highly recommend the Kettle Beef. Our bartender was great - connected with me and the guest well!
The tiny homes on property are the most gorgeous little things I’ve ever seen!
Now reason I rate 4 stars and I absolutely hate doing so, but as a coordinator myself, I feel like I owe it to potential couples just so they are aware. My initial communication process was a handful… Our wedding was cancelled originally. When we decided to go on with it, we reached out in hopes we could still use our deposit, which did happen and we are forever grateful. However, I feel I experienced big communication issues and I won’t go into each and every one of them. However, my biggest problem I had involved my final details meetings. I had prepared everything for my floor plan and what was needed and even drew up a sketch with very detailed notes. We ended up going back and forth because it was as if my details I provided initially were completely ignored. Finally it got situated, but it was extremely frustrating because I had everything spelled out and when I got my floor plan from them, it was nothing that I had requested.
Again - it all worked out in the end and I would do it all again with The Artisan! I just feel every potential couple should know the good and bad.
The Artisan was our dream reception venue. It was the first venue my fiancé and I looked at and we knew instantly that we wanted to choose it. The property, buildings, food, and coordinators were all amazing. The natural light in the reception venue was exactly what I was wanting. The airy feel the venue has is incredible and your imagination can run wild with how you want to decorate it. It was such a special day for us. We will always remember it and love that we choose The Artisan for our day! I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking for a venue!
The Artisan is the most beautiful venue!! We loved how we were able to bundle food, bar, and venue all in one. Plus their tiny homes on the property made our wedding night lodging so much easier! Everything turned our perfectly, and is exactly what I always dreamed my wedding day to be.
Talk about working with the best people. First off, the venue is incredible! When the sun goes down and the lights are on its breathtaking. I had the opportunity to work with Amanda regarding everything and she was so accommodating and made the whole process incredibly easy! Highly recommend
We booked this beautiful venue after tasting Baetje Farm’s goat cheese, and our wedding could not have been any more gorgeous. Our guests loved the food—and the fact that they could pet the baby goats that were just outside the venue!
We had the most amazing wedding at the Artisan. They had amazing food. The staff was wonderful to work with throughout the wedding planning process. The venue itself was beautiful and didn't need any decoration. The day of the wedding was flawless and seamless. The bridal suite is wonderful. We had to rent the large tiny house for our groomsmen to get ready, but it was worth it for the convenience.
We had our wedding reception at The Artisan a little over a month ago and it was absolutely perfect! The staff is amazing and very accommodating. I couldn't ask for anything more!
We had such a wonderful experience working with Amanda at Baetje Farms to plan our reception. Due to COVID we were thrown many curveballs and had to postpone. They were understanding and flexible. Beautiful venue, good food, and we loved the tiny homes!
The Artisan team was a DREAM to work with! They truly made my vision come to life. Kassie, Amanda, Tia, and the rest of the team were so accommodating. Highly, highly, highly recommend the Artisan to anyone looking for a venue.
Our daughters wedding at Baetje Farms was absolutely perfect! The farm is gorgeous, the staff was so accommodating, friendly and great with communication. The food was Delicious! The Tiny Homes were perfect for the bridesmaids the night before and immediate family! The bridal suite, mimosa bar, breakfast, tiny sandwiches for lunch, the day of coordinator, the adorable goats, the fire pits, even the crew that came in to clean up afterward …..everything was perfect! Thank you
Baetje Farms for the amazing memories.
The Artisan was an amazing venue for a wedding! We were so glad that we found it and they were all so willing to work with the small and big details and decisions we wanted to go with for our wedding. I would totally recommend them as your wedding venue!
We would plan our wedding at The Artisan again and again! They were attentive, helpful, and they helped us bring our vision to life! We heard SO many compliments about the venue and the food (and people LOVED the goats!) it was a great experience and a beautiful day! -the bride
Fantastic venue, 5 stars from me! Has a great aesthetic and the staff was easy to work with - reducing the burden of wedding planning. Day of logistics were seamless and our wedding went off without a hitch, which I feel is pretty rare. Food was solid. Recommend having at least one tiny house for the groom & groom party to get ready in and hangout before all the craziness started.

I’m so glad I found this place to have my wedding. It was just all around perfect and loved by my weddings guest and wedding party. One of my favorite parts were the tiny homes we stayed in the night before and for Graesen and I’s mini moon! I will for sure be coming back again whether it be for another couples wedding our are 1 year anniversary!
We use the Artisan as our venue for our wedding reception and I cannot say enough amazing things about this place and the entire staff. From start to finish, Amanda was there every step of the way. Planning a wedding during COVID creates so much extra stress, but they always helped take some of that stress away from us. The night of the wedding, Kassie did such an amazing job of making sure we enjoyed the night and didn't worry about anything at all. Not only is this venue beautiful, the staff was so amazing!!
My family and I will never be able to get over how amazing this venue is. They accommodated us last minute due to COVID and made everything perfect. From the hosts, to the beautiful bridal suite, and endless opportunities to personalize our wedding The Artisan could not have done better. The on site Tiny Homes are stunning as well and offered the cutest sleeping arrangements for our wedding party. We are still getting compliments on this venue. We will never be able to thank Beatje Farms and The Artisan enough for giving us more than we could have ever dreamed of.
We loved being able to have our reception at The Artisan. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue and the staff did their best to assist us with anything we needed! We had a little mishap with the food selection, but it worked out better than we had expected or planned. We had selected two meat options, but only the chicken had been prepared. It worked out wonderfully, as it was much more delicious then the secondary choice we had planned to offer along with it. They were so kind and made sure to provide the second option in a crunch for our guests who couldn't eat chicken.
We didn't plan for a DJ, but to have a playlist for dancing. The wifi wasn't the best, but again the staff made sure to get it working to best of it's capability and it ended out to work well! (I would suggest making the staff aware if you plan to use the wifi prior to your reception, but that's the only thing I would mention).
Thanks so much to The Artisan for making little blubbers into what turned out to be a fantastic evening!
Hey Fellow Brides & Grooms. I’m getting married in June at the Artisan at Baetje Farms and it’s been really great!
Planning has been so low key because the people at The Artisan take care of it all. They have the venue for the ceremony (so many different areas to actually have the ceremony!) and reception (enormous!) , the food (mmmmm cheese!!!!), the bar (make that 2 bars), the micro hotels (so cute! and so glad I can just sleep at the venue after a night of partying) and Goats! (Hello Instagram!). Not to mention little things that I don’t want to have to worry about like a beautiful place for me and my girls to get ready in the morning with mimosas (aka the bridal suite) and different meal options and bar options and bon fires and doing the rehearsal dinner!! and so much more.
They also have a preferred vendor list for the few things they don’t take care of (photography, DJ, and flowers) who are already familiar with the team at The Artisan, it’s running so seamlessly. I have hardly had to do any planning since I chose The Artisan and I feel like I’ve really gotten to enjoy my engagement celebrating with friends instead of wasting my weekends wedding planning.
It’s also been super easy to stay in communication with Amanda via text and so accommodating even when I couldn’t make a tasting date! And they’ve been so open to all my requests in making my wedding unique for me and my fiancé. Speaking of my fiancé, can I tell you how happy he is all the planning is taken care of? He’s ecstatic his Sunday’s are reserved for football. Haha.
Happy planning! Hope this helps! ♥️
I always knew I wanted to get married in Sainte Genevieve, and when the Artisan opened their doors, I fell in love! Amanda was so easy to work with (always answering all of my questions - even months out from our wedding!), and the team was very accomodating as we navigated COVID and how it would affect our wedding. We held our dance floor outside and it was perfect with the heaters that the Artisan put up for us. We received so many compliments on the venue from our October 3rd wedding!
When I told my friends and family that our wedding was going to be at a goat farm, I got a lot of strange looks-- but after the big day, I have had so many family and friends go on and on about how beautiful the venue was. The atmosphere was exactly what my husband and I were looking for-- a quaint, charming venue in the country. Amanda was so easy to work with, the food was amazing, and the goats loved having visitors. I can't say enough about how happy we were on our wedding day. Thank you so much!
From the moment I stepped into the artisan I knew that was going to be my wedding venue. The space is absolutely breathtaking and honestly needs minimal decorations if any. My whole day was flawless and just flowed so smoothly. Amanda was so on top of everything for my big day and I just can’t say enough good things about her and everyone I came in contact with. Day or night my emails and questions never went unanswered. Catering is done in-house and it made everything so easy not having to deal with outside catering. There are SO many food and bar options. Basically it’s a one stop shop for your entire wedding. They also recently built their small homes and honeymoon suites that couples and their guests can rent out and let me tell you they were worth every penny and were just beautiful! Especially the honeymoon suites. We loved not having to worry about driving anywhere after the reception, especially after all the drinks, and basically just walking across the lawn to our suite and enjoying a relaxing rest of our night. I wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding because it was the most perfect day ever and our guests kept coming up to us telling us how beautiful the venue space was. And did I mention they have goats that they let out in the pasture which were a total hit for pictures and everyone loved them! Thank you for giving us a day we will cherish forever!
When looking for a venue you look for the full package, the wow factory and that is The Artisan! Everything The Artisan does is truly impeccable. I know I am a high maintenance bride and they helped me very step of the way. Amanda answers my million of questions and let me see the venue anytime I wanted. They can fit 100- 300+ people at your wedding and they will treat every person the same no matter how big or how small! I believe The Artisan is the next upcoming wedding venue for good reason! Thank you all so much for your help. My wedding day couldn’t be the same without you!!
We LOVED having our reception at the Artisan! The grounds make you feel as if you have the entire hillside for yourself and your party. Our guests loved the outside environment with the goats, patio, creek, etc. The white shiplap and chandeliers are also a wonderful backdrop for any florals or decor. Our families and guests raved about the staff's service. They took extra precautions given current circumstances at no cost. They were also very attentive during our reception without being overbearing or pests. Their check ins were well timed and if you realized you needed something, someone always happened to be right there immediately. They also helped us pack up at the end of the night which really saved us time! We cannot be more pleased. Our only slight suggestion would be trying to have the sound/music be more clear.
BEAUTIFUL VENUE! From the private bridal suite to the white shiplap, the details are incredible. The groom and I made a last minute switch and moved to the Artisan 10 days before our reception! The staff went above and beyond to make sure all changes went off without a hitch. I was so impressed by the staff the night of the reception. The bartenders and servers were AMAZING! We also had goat cheese from the farm for guests to try and they loved it! We’re still getting so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was. The lights at night give the inside a romantic feel which is exactly what the groom and I envisioned on our big day! I would recommend the Artisan to any bride and groom looking for a romantic venue!
There are not enough words to tell you how amazing the staff, owners and venue are outstanding and the most amazing ever. They did everything in their power to make our daughter and son in laws wedding perfect!!! They were so loving, compassionate and helpful... trust me if you want a perfectly wonderful wedding book at the Artisan!!! BTW the goats are adorable, bridal suite is breathtaking and the owner brought down his own television for us to watch the cards game if we wanted!!! If this isn’t a reason to book your even here I am not sure what is!!! 😍😍😍
