The Atrium

We had our wedding last Saturday 8/17/24. It was 90 degrees hot outside and was sunny. We chose the Atrium for our reception because it looks intimate enough and seems like a good fit for 100 people. I had 13 tables (10 tables downstairs & our honeymoon table, and 3 tables upstairs). I was worried that I wouldn’t have enough space for the dance floor, but the venue was actually more spacious than I thought! The venue was picturesque, and even though it was hot outside, the shade from the garden bushes and trees helped with the heat. Everything was done inside, but I decided to place my photobooth, crossword puzzle, and place cards outside. I also let the guests enter from the garden entrance instead, and many of my guests liked the view of the garden. The floral decor was great. However, the plan was to put 2 different styles of centerpieces, and the bar florals were forgotten. Regardless, the florals and decor did a great job. Another thing that my husband and I wanted to take note of was that the bridal suite and groomsmen's room were hot. We told our day-of coordinator, and she immediately provided me with an oscillating fan. Since it was an almost all-inclusive venue, it was less stressful for me to plan the wedding. The Atrium provided the flowers/decor, alcohol, food, day-of coordinator, and staff. The other things I needed to provide were the cake and desserts (but the venue has options as well for extra costs), a DJ, a photographer, and a photo booth. It was lovely meeting with Courtney, and she was very patient with me with some changes I wanted to make last minute, I love that it’s easy to reach out to her. Our day-of coordinator, Vonna, was exceptional! She made sure my husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything. We were not expecting to rain that day, but it did once our program started, and Vonna took care of our photobooth smoothly. She was very nice, patient, professional, and accommodating of any last-minute changes. I’m sure there’s a lot more that happened behind the scenes that Vonna handled smoothly for us. The bar staff was also great for remembering my father’s drink as well as my husband's and I’s drinks. The staff was respectful and efficient. Overall, it was a lovely reception handled very well by the Atrium staff, and I highly recommend this venue.
