The Aurora Inn Hotel & Event Center

Franz, Cindy and the rest of the staff at Aurora Inn were absolutely wonderful. After visiting another hotel in the area and being made to feel like an inconvenience by the staff there, we stumbled upon the Aurora Inn when we were looking for a restaurant for dinner and decided to try the Six Horses Tavern. Franz (the owner) was our server that night as they were short staffed and his charm and hospitality really made me feel like I was welcome and from that point I knew I wanted my wedding guests to experience that same warm welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful and so charming and the entire staff really goes above and beyond to make sure every guest receives the best service. From our rooms to our rehearsal dinner everything was perfect. Cindy and Franz we're so helpful and were always available to answer my questions and made sure that everything went according to plan. I would recommend them highly for events or if you're looking for a cute little get away!

We had our wedding block at the Aurora Inn which is initially what got us in the door. Once we saw the space, I also decided to host my bridal shower there! The food and service was amazing. We did a plated lunch and I still think about the salmon! Delicious! The space for the shower was beautiful. Cindy was extremely helpful and professional. She always took the time to answer questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The shower went so well we ended up hosting the rehearsal dinner and a breakfast the day after our wedding at the Aurora Inn! As far as the room block, everyone raved about their stays. Our guests kept commenting on the cozy/quaint feel of the Inn and the high quality service! I would absolutely recommend the Aurora Inn to others and will consider them for other events in the future!

We went to the Aurora Inn for our October, 2022 wedding and everything was absolutely perfect. Cindy was absolutely phenomenal. She thought of so many details I hadn't, and she had awesome suggestions for some of the things that were troubling me (table set-up, decoration placement, etc). She was also the day of coordinator and she made sure everything ran flawlessly from beginning to end, including using her "insider knowledge" to make sure we got some really great shots with our photographer. Everyone that worked at the hotel treated us like royalty the whole time we were there. Franz, the owner, is clearly very hands on with his business and the time and dedication spent really shows. I'm not sure where they found such fantastic people, but they really got it right with Cindy and Franz. The hotel also catered the reception. The food was delicious and people are STILL complimenting it weeks later. We had a buffet style dinner with a plated salad, chicken marsala, pork tenderloin, pasta ortaggi, carrots, broccolini, and roasted potatoes. The cocktail hour apetizers were also delicious.

The staff at Aurora Inn went above and beyond to accommodate our wedding guests and gratefully at an affordable price! They put the wedding block rooms all together and even have a separate entrance for the partiers! They made sure that all the guests received their individual welcome bags even though not all of them were the same. The hotel itself has a special charm and is spotless. Having the covered patio and Tavern restaurant/bar is an added bonus! The food is terrific and the service excellent. They are located in a great place with other restaurants and shopping in close proximity. The manager even offered to drive one of the guests to the airport when he lost his ride. Who does that?!! The communication with Cindy during reservations was flawless! Thank you!!
