When we started planning our wedding, a rooftop venue was on top of our list. We wanted stunning views, a true 'downtown' atmosphere, and a space which could affordably hold 200+ people. The balcony checked all of these boxes and more.
Staff was wonderful, shoutout Ashley! They also have back up options in case of bad weather. Book here and you will not regret it!
-Venue cannot handle a big wedding.
-Overpriced- we had to pay a 25% fee on top of everything (in addition to gratuities). Ie. Catering, decorations, etc.
-Event coordinators are helpful until the day of, then they are nowhere to be found.
-Lack of promptness and staff the day of, my family and friends had to help them set up and put out fire.
-Their “preferred” vendors’ staff are clueless.
-They neglected to tell us we had to throw out our own trash and made us drag the trash down to the first floor after the wedding.
My wedding was poorly executed by everyone involved at The Balcony. Very unorganized and unprofessional. When I recap the issues they gave a generic response because it’s only about the bottomline for them. They do not care! I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE! As beautiful as the place may be, do not book unless you want the embarrassment of the police showing up at your event. What this venue fails to mention is that due to a residential building being next door you will receive multiple noise complaints if there is music. The staff will take your food without asking and the security guard will harass you by all means necessary. A wedding was shut down by the police because of their napoleon complex having security guard. I am utterly DISGUSTED with this place. I repeat, DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE!
This was the dream wedding venue! Sarah and the rest of the TBO team were available for whatever we needed from the moment we booked the venue until even the day after our wedding and were incredible to work with. I could not recommend this venue more and wish we could do it all over again! Thank you Sarah and the Balcony Orlando for a day we will never forget!
This venue is everything you can ask for and more. The team (including wedding coordinator) we’re extremely easy to work with. Even all our last minute request to drop by the venue to get another look was granted at any moment. I would 100% recommend this venue for anyone looking for a city like vibe.
BOOK AT THE BALCONY! From the moment we expressed interest, Fran was fantastic with communication. We booked at our tour because of now beautiful the space was and how awesome Fran was. Fast forward and we are given Sarah as our coordinator … she was everything I could’ve dreamed of! She answered every small question as soon as I messaged her and asked. There were definitely an abundance of questions and concerns that I had, and she only ever expressed eagerness to respond. The day of, we made a last minute decision to bring our reception inside because of wind and the entire team at the Balcony worked faster than I thought possible. Within an hour everything was reset as if it never happened. They worried quickly, efficiently and never had me panicked. Sarah and Fran are awesome and I’m so grateful for such a wonderful with the Balcony team!!
Absolutely amazing. The venue could not have been better (beware of wind). Sarah as the wedding planner, was absolutely incredible. Everything went absolutely perfectly because of her. She takes every extra ounce of stress and worry out of the process. Could not have asked for better!!
We originally booked a different venue which was outside but after much thought and the unknown of FL weather we decided to change venues. I came across The Balcony Orlando and as soon as we walked in and met with Fran we knew this was our venue. Most of our contact was with Sarah and she was truly the best to work with! She was very professional and helped us with anything and everything we needed. The day of our wedding was everything and more of how we had envisioned our special day, thank you to The Balcony team because you were all so spectacular!
This venue & team make you feel like you're truly their only bride on their books. They prioritize you and go above and beyond to make your day special and gorgeous! My initial meeting was with Fran, who was sweet as could be and really made me feel confident in booking with them. After committing to the venue, I was assigned to one of their wedding planners, Sarah, whom I can't give enough stars to. Sarah walked with me for nearly a whole year planning this wedding and was so easy to work with. She really saw my vision, but more importantly, did everything she could to make my vision come to life regardless of the difficulty factor. I can't say enough amazing things about The Balcony, their team, the city views we had for our wedding, and even their vendor recommendations. 10/10 for everything!
The venue was modern and the decorations were simple and classy. The vendors were punctual and the flow of the wedding events went smoothly!
Beautiful Venue! It has both indoor and outdoor capabilities for any event. My husband and I were married there this month and everything turned out perfect largely due to the Balcony staff especially Sarah who we had the most contact with. They helped so much from initial planning of the wedding, to coordinating vendors, to executing set up and tear down at the end of the night.
My husband and I fell in love with the Balcony the moment we walked in! We toured other venues but always came back to the Balcony. Beautiful views and an indoor space with endless possibilities. Fran was super sweet checking on us throughout the planning process and always there to answer our questions. Highly recommend!!! ❤️❤️
I couldn't have wished for a better team and venue for our special day! Brooke, our planner, was amazing and handled everything right down to the last minute details on the day of! As a couple trying to get married during a pandemic, with reschedule after reschedule, The Balcony really shined with accommodations to make our day unforgettable. Thank you for everything! We adored this venue! It is in the heart of downtown Orlando and has incredibly spacious indoor and outdoor areas. We wanted to have an equally nice indoor option as a weather back-up. Due to the fact that the venue is on the 11th floor, the views are incredible!
We opted to have our cocktail hour and dance floor in the outdoor space and dinner in the indoor space. Our wedding ceremony was at a different location. Everything turned out perfectly!
We booked our date originally for April 25, 2020, but unfortunately had to postpone due to COVID. The team at The Balcony was empathetic, supportive and flexible throughout the process. We are so grateful!

After The Ballroom at Church Street canceled six months before the big day, I was heartbroken and didn't think I would fall in love with another venue - TBO did not disappoint! I used the venue for the full day (ceremony, cocktail, reception) and it's large enough to accommodate the 280 guests I had! The whole day was truly magical and the sunset from the rooftop during the ceremony was breathtaking. Additionally, Fran and Brianna were an absolute delight to work with during the planning process and even afterwards. Due to a timing issue with hair & makeup, I wasn't able to get to the venue on time and didn't take the pictures I planned for with my husband and bridesmaids. When I let Fran know months later, she called me and is letting me retake pictures at TBO for free. Truly, I couldn't be happier with my experience with them! Love you both!
This venue was everything we hoped for and more. My husband and I decided we wanted our location to be the wow factor and The Balcony Orlando did not disappoint. This venue can be dressed up or down and has so MUCH character. Not to mention the staff is top notch...every single person we worked with was on top of stuff and our day-of coordinator Brooke made our special day a dream! Highly recommend adding on a month-of coordinator...it is worth every penny!
Living in the Orlando area means that there a ton of venues to choose from and if you are reading this review stop what you are doing and reach out to The Balcony Orlando because they are the best venue!!! I looked forward to talking to them every single time a wedding question/detail came up because they were so knowledgeable, friendly, and a true pleasure to work with. Fran and Brianna were wonderful to work with when it came to selecting our vendors and for helping us along the way. Brooke was the most amazing wedding planner/day of coordinator/best person to message when I was feeling overwhelmed. Our wedding was a dream come true and it would not have been as wonderful as it was if it was not for the staff at The Balcony Orlando.
The Balcony Orlando was everything we wanted and more in a wedding venue. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was easy to reach out to with questions. The day went off perfectly. Brooke, our day of coordinator, was a ROCKSTAR. She made sure it went off seamlessly, we could not have done it without her. We used the outdoor and indoor space and it was all perfect. The weather got a little cold and windy and last minute we moved Cocktail hour inside and it was excellent.
We had THE BEST EXPERIENCE from the beginning to the end with The Balcony Orlando! After Church Street closed, we were worried we’d never find THE venue. Well we were wrong and found THE BEST ONE! Fran and Brianna were so easy and awesome to work with and def put my mom at ease!!!! The venue is the most special place to have a wedding or any event! The views are breathtaking and we are SO excited to see our pictures! We can’t say enough positive things about The Balcony Orlando!!!! 😊❤️
I had the most magical wedding experience thanks to The Balcony! The venue itself is gorgeous, we had our ceremony and cocktail hour outside which was ideal for photos and the newly renovated inside area that was perfect for the reception! Brooke, Brianna, and Fran are the dream team! They are so friendly and devoted to making wedding planning less stressful. Everything from the initial booking, to the planning, to the wedding itself was easy, efficient, and fun! The day of was so organized and everything was taken care of so that my husband and I could enjoy the wedding (We even had time to eat! Thank you Brooke!). I seriously cannot say enough good things about The Balcony, thank you for helping to make this the best and happiest day of my life!
Absolutely loved this venue! Aside for the gorgeous view and beautiful venue, the venue coordinators were amazing. Fran and Brianna were there every step of the way even if it wasn't in their scope. The wedding process for any couple can be pretty stressful but Brianna and Fran were constantly checking on us and making sure we were happy. We highly recommend this venue. We absolutely loved The Balcony!
From the moment I saw The Balcony Orlando, I knew that was were I wanted to have my reception. You really cannot say enough about the views. My wedding was everything I wanted it to be and it is thanks to Fran, Brianna, Clara, and all of The Balcony staff. They think of everything and helped keep me organized with timelines, google drive drop boxes, and reminder emails. I couldn't have asked fora better group to work with.
The Balcony is such an amazing venue and very unique. We had both the ceremony and reception there. Our guests were in awe of how beautiful it was. It really captured our style and you can add any type of decor to it, but you honestly don’t need much because of the scenery that you get with it. It is a little on the pricier side since it doesn’t come with anything except the view and the market lights, and the inside gallery space. But it is so worth it!!! On top of that Fran and Brianna are amazing, and will help you with any questions that you have. And if you don’t they’ll still follow up and be on top of everything to make sure everything is going okay. Overall our experience at The Balcony is something we will remember forever and ever.
The Balcony Orlando is such a unique venue! It has indoor and outdoor space with a magnificent view of Downtown. We were so pleased to have had our ceremony and reception here. The views and space aren’t even the best part!! Fran and her team were. They were so accommodating and helpful. They listened to everything we wanted and made it all happen!! We were (unfortunate) to lose our venue just two weeks before our wedding and were able to book The Balcony. I put unfortunate in parenthesis because it turned out to be the best thing that could have ever happened to us because we ended up at The Balcony. I cannot say how grateful we are to Fran, Bri, and all others for their dedication to our day. They asked all the right questions, worked so well with our other vendors, and helped us put back together our dream wedding. We can’t wait to attend all the other fun events they offer!
Fran is the most amazing, caring, accommodating and just overall wonderful venue coordinator! She was ALWAYS available to help me hunt down vendors, talk me off the ledge when I was overwhelmed, or just chat about my vision for our wedding day.
The Balcony Orlando is the coolest venue space. You're able to create whatever vision since it's a blank canvas. If I were to do it over again, I would choose the Balcony again and again!
What an amazing venue! When we first set out in search of the ideal reception venue, we wanted something that would fit our theme, allow us unlimited possibilities, and something that was different from other venues. Came across The Balcony and its amazing views and atmosphere and knew right away it was the venue we wanted. Fran and Nina were awesome to work with and were always available to answer any questions both in person, over email, reach out to vendors, and would even make themselves available if we needed to go over the venue with a vendor. Our night was perfect, and wouldn't have had it any other way. Thank you Fran, Nina & The Balcony!
WOW! Is all I can say about this venue! The views are stunning and the outdoor space is huge! It is an amazing blank canvas so you can create any sort of vibe that you are going for at your wedding and reception. Not to mention the staff is so accommodating, quick to respond and so easy to work with! Nina is great! I highly recommend!

Located right in Downtown Orlando, parking options are available through the various city/private garages that are within walking distance with prices being comparable and expected to a metropolitan area. What can be done as an event is endless. I have attended their Salsa Downtown event and a 40th birthday celebration at this location. Its amazing to see how versatile the venue can be. The combination of both indoor and outdoor there should be no issue hosting a group of 250-300 people for a wedding or social event. The Balcony Staff are professional and willing to give a helping hand during any event. I hope to be able to attend many more and even host an event in the future.
