We loved the bridal suite and groom's room to get ready because it kept everyone centralized in one location and allowed the photographers to easily move between the two rooms. The venue itself provides for so many beautiful photos and if the weather cooperates, Wade Lagoon and the Cleveland Museum of Art are so conveniently close for a tight wedding day schedule. We were pleased with how much was included with the price and are confident that our decision was well worth the investment.

e was so calm and organized and our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went off without a hitch! My husband and I did a ton of venue research and visits and when we visited the venue and met Maddie we were immediately sold. I would HIGHLY recommend the ballroom to anyone looking to have a wedding outside of your typical, cookie cutter wedding hall/hotel wedding. Just a couple of facts for you as you are considering The Ballroom: -They work specifically with three awesome Cleveland caterers -Most of the round tables are 6 tops. At first I struggled with this a bit with my seating chart but honestly, it all worked out and it created a more intimate dinner reception. -You can have real candles! They just have to be in a vase/votive -The bridal/groomsmen suites are roomy and private. Best of luck with your planning!

the dance floor in the main ballroom and the size was perfect for about 110 guests, although you could easily seat many more. Having the private bridal suite for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in was one of my favorite things about the venue, and it made for stunning pictures. Overall I can’t recommend The Ballroom at Park Lane enough. Everything from start to finish was perfect. They made it our absolute dream day.

She was there and ready to handle any and every issue that could have arisen that night, so all we had to worry about was getting down the asile. They even accommodated our nerdy little quirks to a traditional ceremony! Overall great experience, would recommend to anyone looking for that classy, old-school charm for their wedding day!

As a vendor, photographing over 40 weddings a year, I can without a doubt tell you that this is one of the best locations in Cleveland for wedding photos. The upper balcony in the main room provides fantastic angles that just aren't available at all facilities, and the 1920's charm is like nothing else around. The Cleveland Museum of Art is within walking distance for easy incredible portraits, and the courtyard, and many spiral staircases at The Ballroom are also one of a kind. Will be recommending to our couples who are searching for a fantastic venue!

tage feel. You get the best variety of spaces with the Speakeasy, Courtyard, and Ballroom, and have a lot of say in terms of layout, which was great. I can't even begin to say how incredible Maddie is!! (coordinator at the Ballroom) She is truly a professional and very experienced. She keeps in contact with you throughout the planning process and the online portal/forms is very helpful with planning. My mom and I dropped off decorations and flowers on Friday (wedding was Saturday), and I told Maddie a little of what I was thinking but really said for her to just make it look pretty, and wow, I was not disappointed. It was absolutely perfect!! We received so many compliments from our guests about how lovely, unique, and beautiful the venue was. The staff was amazing and they really make you feel so incredibly special on your day. I cannot stress how amazing this place is and you will not be disappointed if you have your reception here!

We held a cocktail hour in the speakeasy, made a grand entrance down the stairs into the ballroom for dinner, did our cake cutting at the top of the stairs, then asked guests to move back into the speakeasy/bar area for dancing to conclude the night. If the space alone doesn't convince you to have your reception here, choose this venue because of MADDIE!! She was the absolute key to ensuring our wedding reception ran smoothly and just like we envisioned! She is kind, professional, and prompt. She answered my never ending stream of emails quickly and in detail leading up to our day. I was able to drop off some decor items during the week leading up to the reception and she set it all up perfectly. I would relive our wedding day over and over if I could - the Ballroom and Maddie are a huge reason why the day was so amazing!

Thankfully, when we went back to The Ballroom together, he was as smitten as I was. The Ballroom is the perfect space for the couple who is interested in Cleveland's history and wants a venue with charm, elegance, and class. We loved that not everyone in Cleveland had gotten married at the same place as we did! Not a lot of people know about this hidden gem. Be sure to check out the bridal suite and groom's suite when you visit - definitely one of the reasons we decided on The Ballroom. Our getting ready pictures were perfect and the logistics of all getting ready in one space made our day that much easier. The venue is a great value for the money and the best part is that when you book you receive the services of the venue coordinator, Maddie. Maddie went above and beyond for our day. Our guests and my family were raving about her professionalism, poise, and ability to anticipate our every need (e.g., emergency kit in the bridal suite, telephone number of the shuttle bus when no one else had it, decorum with guests who had a little too much to drink). Maddie is definitely a huge asset to The Ballroom and to a bride and groom's wedding day. Overall, I could not be more thrilled with the way that our day turned out and The Ballroom and Maddie were the absolute biggest part of that!

lebrate our marriage! The unique architecture, incredible lobby (speakeasy) and multilevel ballroom was a perfect fit for our 150 person event. The convenience they provided with the bridal and groom’s suites made getting ready on location fun and convenient. I was able to prepare there, having our hair/makeup artists meet with the girls in a private suite on site, one level above the Ballroom. Their rooftop view above the suite made for some beautiful pictures later in the evening as well! Our main contact for the Ballroom was Megan and she was such an incredible help through our planning! She coordinated seamlessly with Marigold Catering to make everything look beautiful and make sense logistically. The Ballroom even allowed us to set the rooms (cocktail hour in the speakeasy and reception in the ballroom) the day before the wedding, as they had no event in there the evening prior. This was a huge relief to me, knowing much of it was done in advance. They coordinated the bar supplies and valet services for us, and even set up a cigar bar out in their beautiful courtyard (were my husband and I had our first look earlier in the day). We had so many positive reactions from friends and family, saying it was the coolest venue they’ve ever been to for a party – Park Lane is sincerely one of the most unique, warm, and beautiful places to hold an event. It’s exactly what we didn’t even know we were looking for and we very highly recommend it and their staff!

On the day of our appointment, we were running a few minutes behind, so I called the venue and left a voicemail for the event planner aware of their late policy but thought my phone call would suffice. I got buzzed in and both me and my fiancé waited in the ballroom for almost 5 minutes for the representative to arrive. Finally at approximately 15 past our appointment time, she shows up. Tells us that she cancelled our appointment because we were 15 minutes late, but she would give us a”quick tour” before her next appointment time....which was in 10 minutes. We felt completely rushed like the girl did not care at that point. She was very hesitant to show us any of the outside spaces. All of our questions were answered very shortly like she wanted to get us in and out. The space is nowhere near as nice as the pictures, and approximately 40+ will have to sit in booths that we were informed they didn’t move. Overall we are went in with high hopes of seeing a very nice space, and left utterly unimpressed and turned off by the woman. This is a niche specific location that doesn’t care about the average person.

y and happily. During our wedding she took care of everything (including setup and clean up!). She kept the day moving smoothly, handled all of our vendors (drop offs and questions), and made sure my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the entire day. The venue itself was beautiful and was everything we were hoping for and more. We had our ceremony onsite in the ballroom and during cocktail hour (in the speakeasy bar) they switched the ballroom into the dinner space and I couldn't get over the transformation - it felt like we were in a new space... it was so beautiful. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and it was so nice to have everything onsite (hair, makeup, etc.) - even just having a place to keep all of our stuff during the actual event. We selected Driftwood for our caterer and the food and staff were also wonderful. We did a plated dinner and everything came out hot, delicious, and in a timely fashion. The bartenders provided by the Ballroom at Park Lane were professional and friendly. There was never any wait at the bar that I saw - they kept things moving smoothly. At the end of the day my husband and I didn't have to worry about a single thing at our wedding because everything was taken care of for us - we got to just enjoy our day. We both agree that we would not have changed one thing about our wedding venue. If you're considering having your wedding at The Ballroom at Park Lane, you won't regret it.

o classic and elegant — we barely had any decorations because it was stunning on its own. We (and our guests) loved the booths, the long table down the aisle, and adored the golden chairs! And don't get me started on the bridal suite. It's massive and had a full kitchen which made so much space for all of us gals getting ready. They even have a gaming room for the guys! One thing that was AMAZING was their little system which kept all of the little details together for us. Other vendors of ours would simply email us saying we were late with a payment (when you're not organized, dates get jumbled!). But the Ballroom has a system that let us know when a payment was coming up, how much we owed, what the balance was, and so on. Something like this seems expected, but the Ballroom was the only place to follow through with this — which we respected. Our coordinator Maddie was AMAZING, by the way. She seriously coordinated with all of out vendors, making sure they were all on the same page – which was SO helpful to my husband and I. She also set up all of our decorations! She let us drop everything off the week of and set it all up the night before. She only came to us if she had questions and she constantly made sure that my husband and I were taken care of. She was the best. If we could get married again, we'd definitely go back to the Ballroom.

guests LOVED sitting in the booths and everyone loved doing dancing in the Speakeasy because it created a whole other feel to the reception. I could rave about this place all day, honestly, book your wedding here! You won't regret it!

Our guests are still talking about the food (thanks Spice!). I recommend doing the warm amber uplighting in the ballroom--I just remember the room being so magical and warm and inviting. Their suggested vendors were amazing, efficient, and affordable. They helped design our set-up, then helped set up and tear down. They were with us every step of the way and were very responsive to our inquiries. This is an incredible venue and we loved working with them. Of course in addition, the space is stunning, the location is fantastic (close to hotels and other accommodations) and the size was perfect.

The venue is beautiful--we received many, many compliments from our guests. We took advantage of both the bridal and groom suite, which were great for pre-wedding getting ready time. The courtyard, speakeasy, and staircases are great for photos. Everyone loved the layout and that we could do everything in one place. We could not ask for a better venue for our wedding!!

It is a beautiful venue, an old ballroom feel with a great entranceway, grand steps and balconies and a sitting area in the main room and up a beautiful classic spiral staircase. It holds about 120 people which was a perfect intimate ceremony for me. She also made a lot of great recommendations during rehearsals to make things run smoother and fill me and my dad (officiant) on how she’d recommend things go.

. Had a wonderfully plated 3 course meal in the Ballroom and then danced the night away in the atrium (beautiful chandelier and bar area). Melissa, the event coordinator, helped us every step of the way - she is excellent! If you are looking for a classy and different wedding venue, definitely give the Ballroom at Park Lane a try.

ng was spot on in all categories. The food and service was spectacular. The options they provide satisfy everyone's taste and budget. Their event manager, Melissa Wright, is phenomenal! She made good ole dad feel relaxed and confident that the reception would be flawless, which it was. Her excellent communication, knowledge, and professionalism is second to none. Hats off to the entire staff at Marigold for such outstanding service and quality of its execution.

It being the venue for Marigold Catering was a HUGE plus as well because Marigold is amazing. Food was a main priority of ours - we wanted our guests to be happy and impressed (and we would consider ourselves slight foodies). Marigold did an incredible job - we can't even count how many of our guests told us it was the best food they'd EVER had at a wedding. The menu options were literally endless, as Marigold will work with you to create whatever you want. We ended up choosing 4 entree choices for our guests, a salad course and 5 passed appetizers from their extensive suggestions menu. All of the options were different and gourmet - definitely not your typical wedding food. The bar options were also endless, as they will order in anything you want if they don't already have it. We had them order in bitters and sugar cubes to make Old Fashioneds - although it's a time consuming drink to make, the bartenders made each one individually and correct every time! We also loved the fact that they had beer on draft in addition to bottles and that it was Great Lakes beer! The way they do the bar is also consumption based, which made it much more affordable! The service we received in the planning process and on the actual night was incredible. Melissa Wright is the event space coordinator and was a pleasure to work with. She made the planning process easy, fun and organized. She really went above and beyond to make our day special. She even met with my dad the day before the wedding to help him practice his speech because he was so nervous! The service that the staff provided our guests was also impeccable. This was another thing countless guests told us the night of and afterward. Everyone was very impressed. They even boxed up my husband and my leftovers and some leftover desserts for us to eat late night after the reception in case we were hungry! Park Lane will also work with you to make your event fit your budget. I know I put that the total cost of service was over $20,000, but that included the venue, all of the food, open bar, and linens. We looked at upwards of 20 venues in Cleveland before choosing Park Lane and we can confidently say that they were one of the most budget friendly. It's also in a great location in University Circle, close to downtown Cleveland, so there were several nice hotels for our out of town guests. As you can tell, we honestly have nothing negative to say about our experience. Pictures online don't do it justice, so make an appointment with Melissa - you won't be disappointed!!

Melissa helped us every step of the way, giving us ideas, asking questions and executing the entire night for us. Our guests were so impressed with the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had so many compliments on the food, especially. The Ballroom uses Marigold Catering and WOW, it was so delicious. The service during the event was wonderful. We had the best night, free of any hiccups and was exactly how we imagined and planned for. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a unique, private location that will really WOW YOUR GUESTS!

dles all of the logistics involving the Ballroom. She was extremely organized, proactive, friendly, and helpful throughout my planning process. I got numerous compliments throughout the night regarding how great the venue and have still been receiving them! The only part in question when I initially booked the venue was the fact that because of our larger wedding size, the dancing was going to have to take place in the atrium (different location than dining). I was concerned that this would be an awkward transition but it ended up working out perfectly. Don't let this stop you from booking the Ballroom!

l. Because of the beautiful existing architecture, minimal decor is needed, but with lighting and the beautiful settings offered to us, it was taken to the next level. I would recommend for a smaller wedding or any other event. Very beautiful and pleased with my shower, the food and the staff. The only thing I would caution is parking and the amount of stairs, it was a little difficult for some of my elderly guests to move around.

eir wedding coordinator, David Horneck was also amazing. Make sure to ASK for him. He helped coordinate every detail of the event and has a good eye for detail. The facility has a separate cocktail and reception area. Does not host more than one wedding an evening! They provide gold chavari chairs and tables with is a plus. The facitily has a very unique classy feel... a combinate of modern with a 1920's/1930's feel to it. Lots f high pillars, balconys, etc... The facility has "U" shaped booths in additions to the table, all of our guests raved about sitting in them! This place is beautiful... go check it out.
