The Barn at Bennett Flats

I cannot say enough good things and this venue and the amazing staff! We had to postpone our wedding due to getting COVID two days prior to our original wedding date, and the staff were so understanding and let us postpone to a new date. They were the calm in the chaos for us and I can not imagine our wedding day without them. They are so laid back and funny and are willing to do whatever it takes to make your day the best day ever. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and was everything I’ve ever dreamed of. We had the best day and truly the best staff to work with at the Barn at Bennett Flats!

I can not say enough good things about The Barn at Bennett Flats and it's staff. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but they offer amazing amenities such as the the Bridal House and the Groom's Cabin. We rented out both for the weekend for our bridal party that was staying from out of town. The venue coordinator, Kelsea, went above and beyond for us throughout the ENTIRE wedding process. She is truly a gem!! From checking on me during wedding planning to even making my husband and I a plate so that we had something to eat after our wedding. The staff is great at communication and hospitality. I fully believe my wedding day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was if we would have went with a different venue.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! The staff are truly amazing at what they do. They are knowledgeable and beyond helpful. Kelsea, the day of coordinator, was so helpful and I am so glad her services were provided. From start to finish, Kelsea made our wedding dreams come true. She is extremely knowledgeable about the barn and how you can achieve the most perfect day. I am so thankful for her recommendations! We got married outside behind the barn and had our reception in the Barn. The venue is breathtaking. I also highly recommend adding the barnhouse and grooms cabin to your package. This venue has a specific place for the groom & groomsmen to hangout and get ready at on the day of the wedding. It was such a relief as a bride to know that the bridal party was all together and very close by! Most venues do not offer a specific spot for the groomsmen to get ready; however, this venue does! A huge plus!! The Barnhouse is absolutely beautiful, and it is the perfect place for the bride & bridesmaids to hangout and get ready at on the day of the wedding. The night started and ended perfectly, I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Alabama area, this is it. This venue is extremely close (12 minutes) to Oxford,AL which has great accommodations for out of town guest.

Accommodations were spot on!! From the bridal house to the grooms cabin to the barn for the reception- this venue has it all. The beautiful and natural setting made it the perfect place for my daughters wedding. Kelsea helped guide us through it all! Staff is exceptional.

The house beside the barn is stunning, both on the inside and outside. Highly recommend it for rehearsal dinner and for the bridesmaids and bride to stay in. It was a beautiful space for some of our pictures as well! The barn is the perfect “rustic” wedding look. They offer a variety of decorations, set up and break down, take trash out throughout, can direct the wedding, and so much more. They are super easy to work with and can absolutely bring your dreams to LIFE!

If you are looking for the perfect spot for a wedding venue for a small ceremony or big ceremony this is hands down the place for you! The coordinator will make sure you have your day just the way you want and everything will flow so smoothly. Also, there’s so much included when having a wedding at this venue. The barn house is so elegant and clean and there is also a cozy but fun groomsmen cabin. It was overall the most perfect space to accommodate our day and we couldn’t have been happier with the way everything turned out!

My entire process with the Barn at Bennett Flats was nothing short of wonderful. I got married during covid and the entire staff was incredible with the rescheduling process. Everyone was so accommodating and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. The day of, Jessica was there for anything that we needed and was absolutely a pleasure to work with! There was not a stressful thing about that whole day. We rented out both houses and that was such an easy process. The facilities are super super nice and clean.

We found this venue on The Knot and I (the bride) immediately had to see it, i dragged my family almost 2 hours away and we all fell in love… my mom cried! We knew it was the one. The best features are: -the coordinator,Jessica… she is AWESOME! And will make your day go so smooth! -the barn house and the groom cabin. These houses were a dream to have for the wedding party and friends to stay and get ready in. We had so much fun and I wouldn’t do anything different! If you are thinking about this venue, don’t hesitate you will not regret it!

I absolutely loved this venue! If you are looking for an amazing location with great staff, then this is THE BEST place. Not to mention the amazing price for all that you get. I can’t wait to have many more events here (praying for the chance for a future baby shower here :) )

The barn is a beautiful place to hold your weddings and events! They have so many places to get great pictures, from the house where we got ready, to the beautiful outdoor scenery, to the rustic reception barn. The staff is so understanding and helpful, and they really made our wedding the best day ever!

Some pros and cons from a bridesmaid at a recent wedding: the location, the venue, the ease of parking- all fantastic. They offer beautiful decor that's easy for you to set up for rehearsal dinner or wedding. Your photos will be stunning, it holds plenty of room for any of your family and friends. The air conditioning isn't really effective but the wedding was in Alabama in a barn in August so be fair in your expectations. The wedding coordinator was a big con however. The bride at our wedding is easygoing, sweet and very even tempered as a whole. However the wedding coordinator was by turns deliberately unhelpful or downright rude to the bride on a few separate occasions, including leading up to the rehearsal and the wedding day itself. She made it known several times there were things she wouldn't help with because it wasn't in her contract, which was fine- but then she went out of her way to disapprove of anything that wasn't decorated or done in a way she would have done it. So she wasn't willing to do the work but wanted to still feel in charge/control. I never saw her smile in two days and most of the interactions she had with the bridal party were negative as if any and all questions were an imposition. She made it obvious at all times that she would rather be anywhere but at the wedding. None of us had any problem stepping in and helping make the day go smoothly for our friend but the day would have been far more upbeat with a positive wedding coordinator or just no coordinator at all. I would recommend the venue because it's gorgeous but only if you could opt out of using Kelsey.

The management team at The Barn at Bennett Flat was phenomenal!!! We were one of the unlucky couples who caught COVID-19 literally one week before our wedding date. I called Lauren, the owner, to see what was best to do in our situation and she guided us through it with such kindness. We had 3 another problems as well. My husband is in the Army so we don’t know when he will get called off and we thought we conceived a child, and I was having a hard time not gaining weight which made it hard to fit my dress. So, yea time was definitely not on our side. Lauren quickly gave several choices. We are able to reschedule to the next month on a Sunday instead of a Saturday. The only down side to having it on a Sunday was that we were rushed the WHOLE day. I was late getting to the Barn that morning so it out me sooo behind the whole day. I decorated myself, so I definitely recommend hiring someone to decorate for you if you ever get it a situation like mine. It wasn’t the most perfect day that I always dreamed of (my vows and rings got left out the ceremony lol), but it went a lot better having it at The Barn at Bennett Flats.

The Barn at Bennett Flats is amazing! Everything about the entire wedding experience from the first tour, numerous text, final walk through, rehearsal and wedding day exceeded our expectations ! Lauren and Jessica are the best...they are true professionals, yet relate to you on a personal level as well. They both made us feel like our wedding was genuinely important to them...we were not just another wedding on the calendar. I can't say enough about the the Barn House and Groom's Cabin. Both beautiful places and so convenient for the wedding party! Having everyone onsite takes away so much wedding day stress. The Barn and grounds are fabulous. The view at the outside wedding site is truly breath taking. Combine the staff and all the amenities The Barn at Bennett Flats is the prefect wedding venue! All three of my children got married in less than two years. The last and final wedding of the was at The Barn at Bennett Flats. Having the wedding at The Barn at Bennett Flats was the absolute best decision! I 10/10 recommend it. You will not regret it.

We couldn’t have been happier with this venue and our wedding coordinator Lauren! The place was gorgeous and Lauren treated us like we were her only client! Side note, our wedding was supposed to be in April (when everything is blooming) and we had to move it to August (when things are dying and it’s hot out) because of COVID, and the venue was still beautiful! Also, we highly recommend staying in the bridal suite, as it just adds to making the bride-to-be feel that much more special!

The staff at The BBF were super helpful and made my wedding day so special. Not to mention the venue is extremely beautiful and exactly what I was looking for!

The staff at this venue is amazing to work with and answered all of my questions quickly. The venue is gorgeous, but the view is just stunning. The house next door is so beautiful and provided my bridesmaids with the perfect space for relaxing and spending time together before the ceremony. I highly recommend checking them out if you want a smooth, perfect wedding day!

My husband and I loved BBF!! The venue it’s self is breath taking! The owners and entire staff were friendly and very easy to work with! Our big day was prefect! They made sure it was stress free and everything went smoothly! If you’re searching for a venue you can’t go wrong with BBF!!

Beautiful place! “Day of” coordinator was great! Really love the option to rent the farm house and have a nice spot for the entire bridal party to get dressed together!

They are always happy and willing to help and answer any questions, worked with me through everything, and the whole barn venue area is beautiful!💕 I recommend The Barn at Bennett Flats for any bride because I know I couldn’t of asked for a better wedding, it was truly the best day of my life🥰

This venue is seriously so beautiful!!! The scenery and the way the sun sets is only one of the many things I loved about this venue. Jessica was incredible to work with. She was honest, funny, professional, and flexible. She was willing to work with our ideas and pulled it off so beautifully. Our caterer forgot to bring our appetizers for our cocktail hour and Jessica made me feel like everything was under control. It’s safe to say that she was my muscle during my big day. I was so nervous about getting married out of state , but the team at Bennett Flats made it so easy for me plan my big day here. We rented the groomsmen cabin & the house on the property for our wedding weekend. Both are beautiful properties and our pictures came out amazing.

Jessica will make sure that everything runs smoothly on your wedding day. She is fabulous!! Beautiful location. Highly recommend the house to get ready in/ stay in.

We had our wedding reception at the Barn at Bennett Flats and it was AMAZING. The barn was a perfect setting for the type of reception we wanted to have--a mix of eclectic, woodsy Southern charm and elegance. Once the sun set, the chandeliers and cafe lights made everything glow. Madelin and her staff are exceptional and professional planners. Everything went so smoothly, I didn't have to worry about a thing! We were able to relax and enjoy the party.

The Barn at Bennett Flats is the perfect place for a barn wedding! Every aspect of the venue was gorgeous. Planning my sister's wedding was very stressful, but Madelin helped make everything perfect and because of that my sister's wedding was amazing and we could not have asked for a better venue!!

The wedding was planned with only three days notice, but Madelin pulled it off without a hitch! Everything was beautiful and was set up exactly like we wanted it. The Barn at Bennett Flatts is a hidden gem. Located between Atlanta and Birmingham, and only 2 hours from Huntsville makes their location so convenient (plus it's only 2 minutes from the interstate)! I held a customer appreciation event here and they made such an impression that my company Christmas party is scheduled there in just a few days. Madelin works hard to make sure everything is taken care of for you- from suggestions on vendors, to catering and set-up, she can take care of everything. She's extremely professional and goes the extra mile for customer service. She made me feel like mine was the only event she was planning, and like it was most important. The Barn is clean, and so beautiful! The view is spectacular. There's ample space for parking. Great outside and inside areas for different "visions" at different events. This event location is ideal for any type event- family reunions, corporate events, meetings, or parties. If I was looking for a wedding location, this would be the place!

A wonderful venue for any event...not just a wedding! Birthday parties, Christmas parties, Girls Night Out, Bachelor parties. . . whatever you can dream up, Madelin is exceptional to work with and very accommodating! The view from the barn is picture perfect and I love the location! I'll definitely consider them anytime I have an event!

I love this barn, The love and time they put in the details make's it look magical inside. And the views from the barn are breathtaking. The owner Madelin is so sweet and passionate about the barn and the events that she plans, she puts her heart in it. It's not just a job for her! It's her passion to make sure the event of the day is as special as you are. They treat you like family!! I would recommend this venue for any event you are planning. Check it out you will fall in love with also.

I could not think of a more beautiful place to have a wedding or special event. The Barn at Bennett Flats is such a dreamy and charming venue. There is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves and so many gorgeous views to take in. And did I mention that the people there are wonderful?! So friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with!!!

I recently had a customer appreciation event at The Barn at Bennett Flats. The event was a huge success, we had a great turnout and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Madelin was super helpful in planning everything from the food, beverages, entertainment, etc. The venue was easy to find, and the whole team was super laid back and fun to work with. I look forward to having many more events here in the future!
