The Barn at Bennett Flats

were so understanding and let us postpone to a new date. They were the calm in the chaos for us and I can not imagine our wedding day without them. They are so laid back and funny and are willing to do whatever it takes to make your day the best day ever. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and was everything I’ve ever dreamed of. We had the best day and truly the best staff to work with at the Barn at Bennett Flats!

House and the Groom's Cabin. We rented out both for the weekend for our bridal party that was staying from out of town. The venue coordinator, Kelsea, went above and beyond for us throughout the ENTIRE wedding process. She is truly a gem!! From checking on me during wedding planning to even making my husband and I a plate so that we had something to eat after our wedding. The staff is great at communication and hospitality. I fully believe my wedding day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was if we would have went with a different venue.

I am so thankful for her recommendations! We got married outside behind the barn and had our reception in the Barn. The venue is breathtaking. I also highly recommend adding the barnhouse and grooms cabin to your package. This venue has a specific place for the groom & groomsmen to hangout and get ready at on the day of the wedding. It was such a relief as a bride to know that the bridal party was all together and very close by! Most venues do not offer a specific spot for the groomsmen to get ready; however, this venue does! A huge plus!! The Barnhouse is absolutely beautiful, and it is the perfect place for the bride & bridesmaids to hangout and get ready at on the day of the wedding. The night started and ended perfectly, I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Alabama area, this is it. This venue is extremely close (12 minutes) to Oxford,AL which has great accommodations for out of town guest.

The barn house is so elegant and clean and there is also a cozy but fun groomsmen cabin. It was overall the most perfect space to accommodate our day and we couldn’t have been happier with the way everything turned out!

There was not a stressful thing about that whole day. We rented out both houses and that was such an easy process. The facilities are super super nice and clean.

The best features are: -the coordinator,Jessica… she is AWESOME! And will make your day go so smooth! -the barn house and the groom cabin. These houses were a dream to have for the wedding party and friends to stay and get ready in. We had so much fun and I wouldn’t do anything different! If you are thinking about this venue, don’t hesitate you will not regret it!

rehearsal dinner or wedding. Your photos will be stunning, it holds plenty of room for any of your family and friends. The air conditioning isn't really effective but the wedding was in Alabama in a barn in August so be fair in your expectations. The wedding coordinator was a big con however. The bride at our wedding is easygoing, sweet and very even tempered as a whole. However the wedding coordinator was by turns deliberately unhelpful or downright rude to the bride on a few separate occasions, including leading up to the rehearsal and the wedding day itself. She made it known several times there were things she wouldn't help with because it wasn't in her contract, which was fine- but then she went out of her way to disapprove of anything that wasn't decorated or done in a way she would have done it. So she wasn't willing to do the work but wanted to still feel in charge/control. I never saw her smile in two days and most of the interactions she had with the bridal party were negative as if any and all questions were an imposition. She made it obvious at all times that she would rather be anywhere but at the wedding. None of us had any problem stepping in and helping make the day go smoothly for our friend but the day would have been far more upbeat with a positive wedding coordinator or just no coordinator at all. I would recommend the venue because it's gorgeous but only if you could opt out of using Kelsey.

, the owner, to see what was best to do in our situation and she guided us through it with such kindness. We had 3 another problems as well. My husband is in the Army so we don’t know when he will get called off and we thought we conceived a child, and I was having a hard time not gaining weight which made it hard to fit my dress. So, yea time was definitely not on our side. Lauren quickly gave several choices. We are able to reschedule to the next month on a Sunday instead of a Saturday. The only down side to having it on a Sunday was that we were rushed the WHOLE day. I was late getting to the Barn that morning so it out me sooo behind the whole day. I decorated myself, so I definitely recommend hiring someone to decorate for you if you ever get it a situation like mine. It wasn’t the most perfect day that I always dreamed of (my vows and rings got left out the ceremony lol), but it went a lot better having it at The Barn at Bennett Flats.

expectations ! Lauren and Jessica are the best...they are true professionals, yet relate to you on a personal level as well. They both made us feel like our wedding was genuinely important to them...we were not just another wedding on the calendar. I can't say enough about the the Barn House and Groom's Cabin. Both beautiful places and so convenient for the wedding party! Having everyone onsite takes away so much wedding day stress. The Barn and grounds are fabulous. The view at the outside wedding site is truly breath taking. Combine the staff and all the amenities The Barn at Bennett Flats is the prefect wedding venue! All three of my children got married in less than two years. The last and final wedding of the was at The Barn at Bennett Flats. Having the wedding at The Barn at Bennett Flats was the absolute best decision! I 10/10 recommend it. You will not regret it.

g was supposed to be in April (when everything is blooming) and we had to move it to August (when things are dying and it’s hot out) because of COVID, and the venue was still beautiful! Also, we highly recommend staying in the bridal suite, as it just adds to making the bride-to-be feel that much more special!

honest, funny, professional, and flexible. She was willing to work with our ideas and pulled it off so beautifully. Our caterer forgot to bring our appetizers for our cocktail hour and Jessica made me feel like everything was under control. It’s safe to say that she was my muscle during my big day. I was so nervous about getting married out of state , but the team at Bennett Flats made it so easy for me plan my big day here. We rented the groomsmen cabin & the house on the property for our wedding weekend. Both are beautiful properties and our pictures came out amazing.

r recommendations and suggestions helped to ensure the day was perfect (even in the rain!). If I can offer any advice to potential couples it would be this- please take advantage of the barn house, it is an absolute dream!! The Barn at Bennett Flats deserves more than 5 stars!

Southern charm and elegance. Once the sun set, the chandeliers and cafe lights made everything glow. Madelin and her staff are exceptional and professional planners. Everything went so smoothly, I didn't have to worry about a thing! We were able to relax and enjoy the party.

Madelin works hard to make sure everything is taken care of for you- from suggestions on vendors, to catering and set-up, she can take care of everything. She's extremely professional and goes the extra mile for customer service. She made me feel like mine was the only event she was planning, and like it was most important. The Barn is clean, and so beautiful! The view is spectacular. There's ample space for parking. Great outside and inside areas for different "visions" at different events. This event location is ideal for any type event- family reunions, corporate events, meetings, or parties. If I was looking for a wedding location, this would be the place!
