Situated in Evergreen, CO, The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park is a countryside wedding venue set amidst a 100-acre private ranch estate. Originally owned by the Lewis family, who purchased the estate in 1965, this mountain view venue provides a peaceful and panoramic backdrop for special celebrations. This idyllic animal ranch is home to elk, buffalo, deer, foxes, and owls, which adds to the property's authentic rural charm.
From the American-style barn to the scenic gardens and pond, The Barn at Evergreen has plenty to offer prospective newlyweds. The state-of-the-art chapel was constructed from the recycled wood of five old barns. The most striking aspect of this arched barn is the stunning stained glass that adorns the windows. Rustic refinement abounds in this historic chapel, as high ceiling beams and wooden interiors are married with ambient string lighting and elegant furnishings. You can say ‘I do’ outdoors at The Fields or host a traditional ceremony in the chapel. The Barn is transformed for evening receptions, with floorplans curated to reflect your vision, whether you desire a formal seated meal or relaxed buffet service. The polished wooden flooring lends itself to dancing and entertainment.
The experienced staff at The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park wants to make your dream day a reality. They customize their services according to your wishes and offer advice when it comes to selecting vendors. Their list of trusted suppliers includes bartending companies, food trucks, transport, hair and makeup, photographers, and more. You are free to select the caterer of your choice and the barn can be decorated to reflect your theme, whether that is classic elegance or vintage boho-chic.

- Amy LewisEvent ManagerMy name is Amy Lewis and I am the Events Manager here at The Barn. This place is full of rich history with not just the Lewis family, but the land itself. I love being a small part of the history and working with my husband Gene as well as an exceptional team of event coordinators to create a space for families to come and celebrate life’s events. Gene could tell you story after story of The Barn, the animals, the trees, and surrounding area. He grew up on this land, tore down and pieced together The Barn with his dad, brother, and friends, and now manages The Park. I love any chance I get to tell his stories and work with him to continue the legacy of providing a unique place for families to come and experience part of Evergreen, Colorado. I am glad you stopped by to either visit The Park, The Barn, or just our website. We would love to work with you and create a memorable event for you, your family, and your friends, at this little piece of heaven we call The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park.
- Alyssa RodriguezEvent CoordinatorMy name is Alyssa, and I am the Event Coordinator here at The Barn! The Barn is exceptionally special to me, because it’s where my husband and I said “I do!” Living in California at the time, we dreamed of a Rocky Mountain wedding, and found it here at this captivating, historic property. Since then, I joke I loved it so much I didn’t leave. I called Amy after our perfect day, and asked to be a permanent fixture of this property. We packed our bags, moved out to Colorado, and now get to enjoy the beauty of Evergreen every day. Now, (unless I've snuck out to feed the deer cookies) you can find me in The Barn hosting tours, walkthroughs, and events, or in the office eagerly chatting with all of our brides, grooms, and clients! I am so lucky to be someone who can say that I genuinely love my job, and am so thankful to be a part of something so incredibly special to so many people. I truly look forward to any opportunity to chat about The Barn, events, and planning, so always feel free to give me a ring!

We were so excited to tour this property, the barn with the stained glass windows is to die for. Exactly what we were searching for, and in a great location convienent for out of town guests. However, when we arrived for a tour we discovered that this barn is nestled in the middle of a cemetery. This wasn't advertised or communicated, so this made for a major disappointment. Also, there are large fences all about the property that are falling, and just not the picturesque image they advertise. I haven't seen many people talk about the cemetery aspect, and felt brides should have a warning before scheduling their tour. The pet cemetary is literally directly next to the barn entrance.

Nestled in Evergreen, Colorado, The Barn featured a mountain backdrop, panoramic views that create an enchanting and romantic atmosphere. The Barn's rustic charm of the venue seamlessly blends with the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains, providing a picturesque setting for a memorable celebration. We recommend this venue to anyone looking for an incredible mountain wedding experience!

When we initially started this process my husband & I really wanted to pick a venue with so much natural beauty that we did not need to purchase additional decor and this venue fit that category to a T. It was also an added bonus that the venue came with many coordinators that are so knowledgeable of the many various ways you can incorporate their wedding venue into your image. They are also super responsive and most times emailed us back within the hour!

The Barn is beautiful, laid back, rustic and just the perfect mountain setting. We had the BEST day ever! Amy is so kind and easy to communicate with. She has a good system for getting everything buttoned up and her staff is very sweet and caring. Our guests were blown away by the details and beauty of this whole property!

Amy & The Barn was a dream come true!
We could not have asked for a kinder, more understanding, and knowledgeable staff.
All of our out of town guests were thoroughly impressed & we had excellent communication during the entire process.
Thank you!!

The Barn was perfect for what we wanted, as in they let us do what we wanted. Within reason. We were able to choose all our vendors, they didn't have a list of "required" or "can only use". They allowed us to set up our ceremony site however/wherever we wanted. Basically we paid for the space, the price was very reasobable, and they allowed near full customization. They have a wonderful location with a man made pond behind them that has Bison, Yaks to one side and Elk on the other. The Bison came right up to the fence and greeted all our guests. They have their standard rules to follow but no where near as restrictive as other venues.

The Barn at Evergreen was absolutely amazing! It is such a beautiful place that doesn't need much decorating! We had an August Wedding, the ceremony was outside facing the lake next to the barn and the reception was inside the barn with games outside and the barn door open! The stain glass windows makes for beautiful pictures. The barn is spacious for a big party but we had about 60 people and it was a perfect size. The ladies we very professional each time we met and the day of the celebration. If your looking for a barn wedding for any season this is the place. It's reasonably price as well. You get to hire your caterer, bartender(s) and music but they have everything written out on a beautiful broushier that explains everything in great detail but if you have any questions the ladies are always very helpful!!

We went for a tour on Wednesday at about 5pm after work. The place was beautiful and exactly what we wanted for loving the great outdoors of CO. Having this only be the 2nd place we looked at, they let us put a September date on hold for a week. We signed the hold paper and left. A week later on Wednesday morning I called to confirm the date and it turns out they gave our date away to a couple on Tuesday. Their excuse was that they didn’t hear from us. We were promised a WEEK and they gave our hold away a day before the hold was over. Please be mindful of their promises and professionalism. We were very heartbroken after this first experience with venue shopping.

This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love and didn't visit any other venues. The property is beautiful and all of our guests were absolutely in awe of the picturesque surroundings, the wildlife and the beautiful and unique inside. The stained Glass and rustic wood interior make for some beautiful photographs.
We also loved the fact that we could use our own food vendors and alcohol vendors. That saved us a ton of money and let us have the freedom to choose and customize our day to our needs. The staff was always responsive and helped my planner with floor plans and other details. I couldn't recommend this venue enough to anyone wanting to have a real "Colorado Wedding"!

We got married at the Barn in late July and it was perfect. All of the guests were very impressed with how beautiful the barn and the surrounding landscape was. Our pictures turned out amazing and we couldn't have been more pleased with the setup and layout of everything. The neighboring elk enclosure and feeding area was great for the guests with kids during the wedding. The whole process of booking the barn, the rehearsal, and the day of went smoothly and the staff was a pleasure to work with. 5 out of 5 stars for this place!

BEWARE OF HIGH BALL QUOTES - I contacted this venue about a reunion and she told me she would discount it from $5K to $4K. I told my committee and they said it was too high. One of them called her and she gave them a quote of $3K and I was accused of lying about the quote she gave me. I came back and asked the venue owner why the discrepancy and she was very non-challant and rude about it. I don't know what she's doing, but, she seems to be changing her quotes arbitrarily.

If you're looking for unprofessional staff, inflexible "policies", nickel and dimeing for every little thing, new rules made up by the minute...then this is the place for you!
But if you want professionally dressed staff, who are polite and kind...and policies that make sense for you and the business...a place that will charge you appropriately..and want the "rules" to make sense...then book your special event basically anywhere but here.
There might be some good reviews here but be sure to read them all. It is a beautiful location but trust me when I say that is all it has going for it.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to review our venue. It looks like your wedding date...
was 9/12/2009, and I can assure you that many many things have changed here at The Barn since that time. We definitely do not aim to surprise anyone with our policies as they are all stated right up front in our brochure, on our website, in our contracts, and during barn tours and final walkthroughs. We do have rules given to us by the fire marshal as a result of our climate and the material The Barn is made of. We also have rules associated with damages and cleaning so we can be fair to all renters and make sure they have a usable, clean space for their big day. We definitely have hired some great and professional staff who dress appropriately for the venue in that it can sometimes be a dirty job but they also want to look presentable so there is a fine line between that and being overly dressed. We certainly don't want anyone ruining any of their general office attire while setting up tables and chairs and cleaning for your event. We are sorry you had a bad experience many years ago before this became an official wedding venue but times change and so do we, like a fine wine. Things get better with time.
Thank you again,

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago in July 2016. The staff associated with the barn is unorganized, don’t remember what they tell you in prior meetings and are completely rude to all guests. Luckily our catering service was on point and helped us get through the evening. First off, they treated the guests terrible all day/night and were telling everybody to leave at 10:30 even though we had paid for the place until midnight. Second, the younger guy who drives the jeep was smoking cigarettes in the parking lot all day and telling people he was going to tow their cars out of the lot even though in our meeting before the wedding they said it was fine to park there. They even went through my brothers pick up and saw beers from earlier in the day when we went golfing and tried to fine us for it. Constant threats they will charge the bride and groom if we don't do what they say, seriously I heard a threat of being fined 9 times through the night all for minuscule things that could have been easily dealt with by a person who could simply act like an adult. The two guys who were there were absolutely horrible, wanted to make it about them instead of welcoming guests or being polite in any way. At 10pm the older one walking around in a safari hat, shorts and a t-shirt threatened our DJ he would pull the plug if he didn’t shut it down. At 10:45pm, before our last guest shuttle had left the guy in the straw hat had been telling people to "get the hell out of here". If you want to be constantly threatened with being fined, a guy smoking cigarettes in front of your venue all day, a venue always looking for ways to get more money out of you, and your guests and wedding party to be treated like scum, definitely have your wedding at the barn in evergreen memorial park. I wish I could have given them negative stars but 1 was the only option.

Hello. I am one of the Event Coordinators here and this is the first I am hearing of any ...
of this. I would like to apologize if there were any problems and you definitely could have come to us with anything. We do have policies in place that do need to be adhered to because of legal and safety reasons in regard to noise ordinances and alcohol rules, as well as courtesy to our surrounding neighbors. We have all of our policies laid out in our contracts and agreements for everyone so there are no secrets or surprises. If there was anyone being rude, that isn't how we normally do business and that shouldn't have happened. I can say with certainty that this was a rare occurrence and not something we strive for here at The Barn. Thank you anyway for choosing us and we wish you a long and happy marriage.

PROS: Its a beautiful venue. Our wedding was gorgeous. And we had an amazing night. You can work with outside vendors which saves money. Rustic and unique. It was the best day of our lives, so it's hard to not call our experience a "Pro" :) CONS: They emailed us an invoice of $3,883 after our wedding claiming that someone's shoes caused damage to their barn floors - which are made of pine. We luckily had insurance that investigated and denied their claim. The Barn still pursued us even after the insurance company found no fault to us. It was a pretty stressful way to start our new life together as husband and wife. Especially after we just paid for a wedding - a 4K bill was not something we would have expected. When we told the insurance company what they accused us of they were floored (no pun intended:) The owner was rude, the staff wouldn't return calls. If a $4K bill doesn't do it for you, here are a couple more things to consider... It was a hot day and there was no air conditioning in the barn, but it was ok after it cooled down at night. The finishes are rough - carpet was dingy in the bridal room. Overall the customer service was pretty poor and unprofessional. I would keep looking around if you are shopping for the perfect venue.

We fell in love with the barn and didn't look at any other venues. We are really pleased with our choice and the wedding day was perfect. The venue was a real hit, especially for out of town guests. The staff was not very helpful before, during, or after the wedding - in terms of communication, floor plans, lost and found (we believe a family heirloom was stolen). We attended an outdoor wedding and the sound equipment was not very good - we couldn't hear what was being said during the ceremony, and could barely hear the music. We had our wedding inside and the sound was perfect. There's nothing we would have changed about the venue, except hope that the staff could have been more helpful.

I loved this place and I was so happy I had my wedding here!
Everyone was telling me how pretty of a place it is, and how it truly made my wedding unique.
The staff is outstanding, especially Kelli. She made sure anytime I needed to see it, that it happened. You can pick your time block so your not told what time everything is which I loved. I recommend it to any bride!

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding day! The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park was the most romantic, rustic chic venue and we were SO happy we decided to have our wedding there! We had the ceremony outside with the barn as the backdrop. We weren't nervous for rain, but prepared due to the venue sitting right in the meadow. Not a drop of rain hit... It was a beautiful 75 degree sunny day in the beginning of September:) The reception was inside the barn as so amazing! The lofted area was perfect for friends to sit in and the rest of the main floor was filled with family. We collected almost all of the decorations and I am so happy we took the time to do so. We had almost a hundred different vintage style vases placed throughout the entire barn and we collected all of the vintage plates used for dinner. It was seriously the most amazing day:) The team at the barn are awesome to work with and make it so easy to let go and know that they are going to make sure everything works out just the way we wanted it to. I can't not say enough how much we loved our venue!! The price includes admin fee and rehearsal set up fee. If you're looking for a mountain wedding without having to drive 2hrs to get there this is the PERFECT place!

Highly recommend this venue, mostly because it's just so dang beautiful. We had a 4th of July wedding here and everything turned out the way we wanted it. The Barn was perfectly accommodating to our wedding planner and our other vendors, and because of a rainy June, even allowed us to have sparklers at the end of the wedding, which made the most beautiful photos.
We got our full deposit back, but I think it's because we hired a planner and a great catering company that is super vigilant about cleaning. The Barn is really strict about the hours you can be there, we paid for 10 hours and they wouldn't let us be there for a minute more or we'd get docked. Definitely know that going in, they also charge for bags of trash, etc., and so it's probably worth hiring a planner and a catering company you trust to clean up everything.
Also know that the Barn is barebones. They don't have a workable cooking kitchen and they don't even have pretty white chairs, so you basically have to hire/rent everything yourself. We were happy with this venue, but just know that going in, it's all very a la carte.
The animals are fun, our guests and the kids at the wedding, loved seeing the buffalo and the yaks and the ducks.
The bridal suite and groom's suite was all great, more comfortable than I thought it would be.
The only other thing I'd say is they gave us a list of vendors they recommend and they were really outdated. One catering company they said was great wasn't even in business anymore. So feel free to break out on your own. We went with a catering company I found on Yelp that did a FANTASTIC job with the space there.
All in all, very happy I was married here. I loved every minute of our time there.

I recently had my winter wedding here and absolutely loved it! We did our ceremony and reception in the Barn-our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful it was. It is truly unique and we ended up with some very cool photos. We worked with Kelli, who is extremely sweet and helpful-she answered many of my questions via email within minutes, every time. We also used one of their preferred caterers, and the relationship between the two vendors was seamless. The ONLY reason I would give them 4/5 stars on value is because once we booked our 10 hr. Saturday block, we realized we had to pay a $600 deposit on top of that, as well as $100 on venue insurance and a $25 DJ hookup, which is basically required. We got the full deposit back, and honestly, I might not have been prepared for that they way I should have been, since this is the one and only wedding I have ever planned! Also, our wedding was relatively small (about 85 guests) and they say that this venue can hold up to 150. That is true, but be prepared to split up your tables between the upstairs and downstairs if you have any more than 85 or so. This place has SO much character, and even though my dress got really dirty from the floors by the end of the night, it was completely worth it :-)

I had my wedding and rehearsal at The Barn. It is truly a unique and beautiful venue! The stained glass, views, buffalo, and lights really do set it apart! My wedding day there was, cheesy as it sounds, magical.
This magic did not come to be without a few mishaps, however (I'll give the bad before the good). The staff at The Barn, while sweet, were lacking in organization and availability. Scheduling meetings with the event coordinator proved a problem due to her limited availability. The staff lacked answers to some important questions and often lacked a sense of urgency. The event coordinator disappeared during pivotal moments on the wedding day. They also charge extra for a lot of simple things, like trash removal and clean-up.
BUT! Fear not; there were a lot of upsides as well. I was able to choose my own caterer, have my wedding at whatever time of day I please (so I chose an afternoon wedding to cut meal costs), decorate however I wanted, set up the ceremony/reception however I wanted, have whatever officiant I wanted, etc. The wedding was very much my own due to extreme flexibility on the part of the venue. If you are a DIY sort of bride, this is a great place for you. I was able to save a significant amount of money by being able to make economical choices and recruit family members and friends to help.
On the whole, The Barn is a beautiful, unique, and wonderfully flexible venue. Just be prepared to be patient with the staff and know that you will need to make a lot of the decisions and details come together yourself (or with the help of a separate wedding coordinator).

I drive past the barn every day on my way to work, and knew immediately when I got engaged that I wanted it to be the venue for my big day. We were married there in June and it was absolutely beautiful. Kelli, the event coordinator, was really helpful and returned my calls and emails in a very timely fashion every time. What I really liked about the Barn is they have recommended vendors, but they don't charge you if you use vendors not on their list. Everything went off without a hitch the day of the wedding, and I couldn't have been happier with the setting and atmosphere of the day. I definitely recommend this for your rustic mountain wedding!

This venue is a unique Colorado experience. We hear a lot of brides like it because it has a country vibe. Neither me or my husband are into country, but we love Colorado and the mountain views combined with the beautiful barn and stained glass sold us. You can make this venue a reflection of your own style, but it certainly has a Colorado flair to it! We had so many guests comment favorably on the location. The staff was very helpful and easy to work with. Just make sure you give people driving directions as some GPS (and Siri) gave some very very bad directions and got some of our guests and wedding party lost for a bit (in particular when coming from downtown Evergreen!). I would recommend this venue to others.

We recently rented the barn facility for a winter wedding. The staff helped us plan the rehearsal, ceremony and reception to be completed in 6 hours. The process worked well and the staff were very helpful and assisted us in making our day special. Our guests enjoyed the fun relaxing atmosphere and can't stop talking about this special barn. We loved our officiant, we left for our honeymoon feeling very special and so glad we chose the 'Barn' for our wedding.

In my opinion, there isn't a more gorgeous place in the Denver area to get married. We loved the rustic feel, stained glass windows and lights inside the barn. Our guests were wowed and didn't even notice the graveyard (and pet cemetery!) outside - yes, you read that right, when you pull up you'll see that first.
However, their staff was almost impossible to work with. Over the course of the 6 months we were under contract with them, there were at least 4 different points of contact, all operating under and communicating their own rules and regulations. They lost our contract and all financial information and tried to charge an extra $1000 when we went to pay (good thing I had printed copies of all previous contracts!!). The day of the wedding, they were dressed unprofessionally, INCREDIBLY passive aggressive with our planner AND guests, and refused to clean a bathroom that was disgusting (which meant two of my friends ended up cleaning it before the cocktail hour started!). After the wedding, they nickle and dimed us out of over half our deposit, charging crazy fees ($5 per bag of trash and $75 to take a few nails out of the wall that they approved).
Although the space is gorgeous, I have a difficult time recommending the Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park until they grow in their professionalism.

My wedding was absolutely perfect, and all the guests loved the venue - the barn, sparkling lights hanging from the rafters, stained glass, and beautiful fields. It was the most picturesque place to get married, and Evergreen is a great area, because it's still in the mountains but not too far from Denver.
However, my experience with the employees of the barn was far less favorable. Since day one when I booked the venue and signed the contract, the primary accountant there would send emails threatening to cancel our reservation if we didn't sign additional papers by a certain day. I must have received 5-10 emails from him throughout the year before my wedding (including one two days before) threatening to cancel our reservation, not allow our caterers to enter, etc. Working with him was a nightmare, and really added to my stress.
Another complaint: they are very ticky-tac about pricing. Compared to other venues we looked at, the price to book the barn was good, especially since you can bring your own caterers, your own alcohol, etc. However, they have a lot of hidden charges. For example, you are required to clean the barn after your event (yeah right) or you have to pay extra. If you want electricity to the Fields, you have to pay $75. You are required to pay for parking attendants if you have more than 100 people attending. The list goes on. Just plan on paying much more than you expected.
Overall, I can't imagine my wedding going any better, the day went off without a hitch, and it was a beautiful location. I just wasn't prepared to be treated like that (as someone who had correctly filled out all paperwork and sent in all payments on time) by my venue. Hopefully I was the exception, not the rule!

The Barn was the perfect setting for our wedding reception especially with the groom's family being from GA-- they loved the mountains. Tera was AMAZING!! First off, the Barn is beautiful. I really wanted to have my wedding there. My "1 star" (NO stars, if that was an option) is for Anthony. My first appointment with him was "forgotten or not communicated". My fiance and I arrived at the Barn to find a funeral going on. No one called us to reschedule or warn us. Anthony was no where to be found. Rod, one of the staff, kindly tried to answer our questions, but informed us that Anthony could give us better information. We drove back to Denver disappointed, but decided to give them another shot.
I made another appointment with Anthony. I called the morning of to confirm the appointment and let him know we may be a little late. I couldn't finish a sentence because Anthony kept cutting me off. I reminded him that he was not present for my last appointment. There was no "sorry", no "that was my mistake". Instead he continued to be rude and aggressive on the phone, telling me he would "cancel plans with his family" if I was going to be 30 minutes late. What? Why did you schedule something with your family if you're supposed to be having an appointment with me and my fiance? As I was trying to reply that that wasn't necessary, he hung up on me. YES, hung up on me. I was in tears by the time the conversation ended. That's how rude he was. I don't know what kind of business they're trying to run up there, but that's not how you treat a potential client. You couldn't pay me to have a wedding there as long as Anthony is running the show.
And thank you for your comment, Anthony, and for providing us all with a firsthand example of how unprofessional you are.

We had our reception at "The Barn." It was breathtaking and they were very flexible with letting us decorate, hiring an outside caterer, and coming to set up early. However, there was a little difficulty with communication and organization.

This was the most perfect spot for our wedding! Anthony was fantastic, very helpful in everyway! I would recommend this spot to anyone wanting to have a special day.

This location is rustic but beautiful, and with a little bit of creative imagination, you can make it really stunning. The price is right, the location lets you make your own decisions with limited restrictions, and the setting is perfect.
They do no hand-holding, so make sure you are ready to suggest your own table arrangements, have a caterer who knows the space and does all the cleanup, and communicate your expectations clearly to the staff. I would highly recommend having a day-of planner to coordinate everything here (I had a DJ, rentals, caterer, vintage furniture rentals, bartender, alcohol delivery, all separate).
