We cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. Ken and Shannon are the absolute best. They communicated with us throughout the months leading up to our wedding and we're great through the ceremony itself. Ken is great with the music, and Shannon gets everything in order just the way you want it. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting the best venue.

Ken and Shannon were absolutely PHENOMENAL during our wedding planning process! They are very professional and will make sure you have everything you want done for your big day! Our wedding day went so smoothly with their help!

The Barn at Shady Grove is by far the best wedding venue you will encounter!! The location is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic and the owners are so incredibly kind and helpful! We had a major ice storm the week of our wedding but Shannon and Ken were right there to help us move our date and helped us along the way! When the day arrived they were so enthusiastic and sweet! I 100000% recommend this venue!! You will not be disappointed ❤️❤️

There are so many words to describe this venue but I will just say it is breathtaking and everything I could’ve dreamed for my wedding day! Ken & Shannon were such a huge help they pay so much attention to detail it made my day! They did everything possible to make sure I could have my wedding outdoors despite the little drizzles of rain and I’m forever thankful for them and this venue!

My husband and I had a great experience at The Barn at Shady Grove! Shannon and Ken were great from the very beginning and helped make all of my wedding dreams a reality! The barn has a gorgeous chandelier with beautiful wood accents throughout. At the venue, there is a bride house and groom saloon that were both very nice, spacious, and accommodating for all of our bridal party. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

My Husband and I got married September 30th, 2023 at The Barn at Shady Grove and I can not recommend Shannon and Ken enough! Our day was absolutely amazing thanks to them and their amazing vendor recommendations as well. Shannon made the whole process seamless, answered all questions promptly, and calmed our nerves with ease. Ken is FANTASTIC on the microphone and knows how to keep the party going and entertained even with delays and mishaps. The Barn at Shady Grove is truly a special place with 2 special owners who you can tell love what they do! My Husband and I still talk about our amazing day almost daily and constantly wish we could do it all over again, not to change a thing, but to just experience our day here all over again. This place, along with these people, will always hold a special place in my heart. I am forever grateful to you guys!

I cannot say enough amazing things about The Barn at Shady Grove. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and made the night feel magical. Shannon and Ken were a blessing to work with. They made the day move along with ease and were there to answer any questions we had along the way in the planning process. They had recommendations for all types of vendors, and the vendors they recommended that we chose to go with were excellent. Everyone worked well together and made for a flawless and seemingly effortless day. As a bride I felt no stress. I was able to relax and truly enjoy the evening, and this is mostly due to the help of Shannon and Ken. I absolutely recommend you choose this stunning venue if you have the chance. You will not regret it!

The Barn at Shady Grove is a great venue. The owners Ken and Shannon go above and beyond to make everything perfect. Please don’t hire a DJ Ken is the best I have ever seen and I have been to a lot of weddings. The facilities for the wedding and for the bride and groom were a perfect fit for our event. You could probably spend more but I doubt you would get more than what this place has to offer.

I can't say enough about these venue owners. Their commitment to their brides and to the wedding industry is top notch. As a mom of the bride and a wedding coordinator I was able to just be mom and have full confidence that Ken and Shannon would keep us on track. Their venue was beautiful and the perfect touch for my daughter's wedding theme.

We just had our wedding last night and wow! I really thought anything and everything could go wrong… might would. But even with the potential of rain the day was perfect and more than what I could dream of as well as my now hubby. Shannon and Ken the owners of the venue bent over backwards coordinating and helping. If you are in search of a venue and second guessing … choose here! Everything from the tables being set up to the decor they have being available to use for no additional charge this venue has everything you are looking for. Beautiful landscape for pictures. We even got our own bridal suite and groom suite with easy access of borrowing the golf cart. We planned our wedding with only 6 months to go at the time, and you would think that would be stressful… but with Shannon being caring she would answer any questions I had and give any advice needed even if I asked something that I considered silly. 10/10 isn’t good enough.. this place is a 10000/10.

Ken and Shannon are amazing and the venue is gorgeous! We loved the bridal cottage and groom saloon too. They made getting ready so much easier and accommodate quite a few people. The boys really enjoyed the bar like atmosphere of the groom saloon along with the pool table. I loved the salon like atmosphere of the bridal cottage. Ken and Shannon were there for our day every step of the way and helped to make sure everything went smoothly. They even recommended some local vendors they frequently work with which made everything so much easier. Thank you both!

Ken and Shannon are incredible people and so easy to work with! They will help you in any way possible to make your day just how you’ve imagined. The barn is beautiful and very well kept. I highly recommend using this venue!!

I have absolutely no complaints with anything regarding this venue. Ken and Shannon are so patient and attentive and respond quickly to anything you need or ask. The groom’s place is perfect and makes the day so fun for the men while the bridal house is perfect for the ladies to dress and hang out before the wedding. The grounds are well kept and the barn needs nothing added. It was the perfect setting for the day and Ken even watched the weather and let us know of an impending unexpected rain storm coming. He let us know and we said move inside but he let us know we could shift quickly if needed and we made the decision at go time and he let the crowd know too so everyone got seated and we started on time and got the wedding in before the rain arrived. We looked at so many venues before booking this one and have no regrets. It had so many extra personal touches and you felt like it was your home for the day. They also have a great local caterer, florist, and bakery. They have thought of everything and Shannon directs the activities and Ken is an awesome DJ. I highly recommend.

There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to Shannon and Ken for everything they did for us! The barn is absolutely gorgeous!! Not only did we get super lucky and book the barn for our wedding, but Shannon and Ken even helped me find a fabulous caterer and an amazing florist in the area. My husband and I could not be more thrilled with how our wedding day played out. Truly our happiest day at the happiest place in the world!

This venue is the perfect location for a wedding. The owners help you the entire way through. It’s such a comfortable environment. It’s absolutely beautiful and they have the choice of indoor and outdoor weddings. There’s also 2 houses for bride and bridal party to get ready as well as a house for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. I had an absolute amazing time at this location and 100% recommend!!

We got married in July of this year! Ken and Shannon were a DREAM to work with and made every step of the planning process incredibly easy and stress free. They were extremely flexible and accommodating- not to mention some of the most down to earth people you will ever meet! You can truly tell that they care to make each of their weddings special and meaningful. As for the venue itself, it was absolutely stunning. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception! Each space was complete with eye catching elements like the pergola and chandelier! The best part was that everything was on site together in one place so no traveling was needed. Being able to go from the bridal suite, to the grooms house, to the ceremony space, and the reception space whenever needed made set up & wedding day hassle free. Each of the houses were decorated wonderfully and have plenty of room so we never felt cramped! I recommend this venue to all my friends getting married!!! Not only was everything stunning, but Ken was an awesome DJ & made sure that all of the music/sound went according to plan! Shannon also offered so many extras that saved me time and stress including table numbers, lanterns, and even ferns to go with our greenery to list a few! The price & beauty of this venue & everything it included was just impossible to beat! Our wedding day went so smoothly and I couldn’t dream of having it anywhere else!!!

This was the absolute best event vendor I have ever worked with. I am unsure how to put into words how great this place is. Ken and Shannon are amazing to work with, they helped me every step of the way and were super organized. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for what I was looking for. I recommend them to everyone!

This venue is truly beautiful, magical, and amazing! The professionalism that Shannon and Ken (the owners) display is top notch. They want your day to be as perfect as you do. My son’s wedding was outdoors and the reception was held inside the barn. Ken does the music—he is THE BEST DJ! The sound system is great! The grounds there couldn’t not be more beautiful. The outside where the weddings take place boasts beautiful surroundings that are very pleasing to the eye. There is a house right there on the premises…the Bride’s house. This is where the Bride and her bridesmaids get ready. And also a Groom’s house. The inside of each of these is so fitting! What a phenomenal thing to have…so unique! Inside the barn, the biggest, most beautiful chandelier looms above, as it reflects the lights down to the dance floor below. And Shannon provides so many extras to use if you like, such as lanterns and large wood rounds to use as centerpieces or table decor. When we first went to view the venue, we just felt a sense of peace. It’s comfortable and familiar. Shannon told us the story behind the barn, which is one amazing story! She gave us a tour of the grounds then said, “walk around, stay as long as you like, and let me know if I can help you in any way.” We decided pretty quickly that this was our place. We were given a folder with vendors from the area from catering to tablecloths to wedding coordinators. When you choose The Barn at Shady Grove, you are well taken care of. I would choose them all over again. You will not go wrong if choose to have your wedding at this amazing venue.

We just got married October 3rd of this year. This venue is absolutely beautiful! It is both rustic and elegant at the same time. The owners, Ken and Shannon, were wonderful. They were very present and available through text if I had any questions, which was super helpful. (Especially with this year we were handed). Ken is a great sound man, we did not hire a DJ, we just burnt cds and that was that! That alone saved us so much money. They were very gracious and allowed us to use their venue on a day we did not rent for my bridal portrait session two days before the wedding. They are a very down to earth, personable couple that will work with you and they want to make your day as special as possible! You absolutely cannot beat their prices. We enjoyed the privilege to have our wedding at their beautiful venue!

I couldn’t have asked for more professional, helpful, and genuine venue owners to make our day perfect. They helped my vision come to life! They have so much experience, and they were always ready to provide suggestions when asked. Ken & Shannon want your day to be what YOU want, and they go above and beyond to make that happen no matter what. You get SO MUCH for a great price at this venue! The grounds are beautiful and are great for a variety of outdoor shots (along the fence line, in front of the barn doors, a field, the pergola...). The bridal cottage and groomsmen cabin were perfect for getting ready and had plenty of room for our 7 groomsmen/7 bridesmaids. We had Ken do our music and everyone loved it. You won’t regret having your wedding or event at The Barn at Shady Grove!

I Love this venue and would highly recommend it! From the beginning throughout the whole wedding process working with Shannon and Ken was truly a joy. They made everything so easy and hassle free. I can’t say enough about how perfect this venue was for us! The owners are so genuine, down to earth, and willing to do anything and everything to make your day perfect. This was the first venue I looked at and after Shannon shared her testimony I instantly knew this was where I wanted to get married, I actually booked it that day. On my wedding day Shannon & Ken went above and beyond and did everything. They helped coordinated our walk down, they coordinated our music play list, made sure early guests were directed outside, would check on us often at the bridal suite and grooms salon to make sure we were still doing okay and if we needed anything. My husbands nose started bleeding right before our pictures and got on his white shirt and we had no back up options, Ken brought him a shirt of his own that was identically and everything worked out perfect! I still to this day get compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how everything was perfect! I couldn’t of picked a better place!!

Wow, I can’t say enough amazing things about this venue and the amazing people that own it! My (now) husband and I first came to look at this venue unsure if we would use it because it was over two hours from our hometown. However, after meeting the owners and seeing the BEAUTIFUL barn we were sold immediately! So yes, we had our wedding over two hours away and it was SO WORTH IT. Ken and Shannon are so great to work with and the venue was perfect!

First of all, Ken and Shannon were made for this! Their story is so beautiful they just hearing it will make you want to get married there! Second, the barn is gorgeous, the bridal cottage is so cute, the groom saloon is the coolest! Ken and Shannon were so helpful from decorating to planning! Ken even made my music work the way I wanted it to and he’s also a pretty awesome DJ! Shannon is the best at being sure the bride’s expectations are met and even is sure to bring up little things that you may have forgot about. She’s super organized which was helpful because I was not! The barn accommodated everyone comfortably and of course we got married outside, but the reception was inside and it couldn’t have been any better! Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

This venue is INCREDIBLE! Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, and unique, but the owners have a true passion for what they are doing! Ken and Shannon worked with us throughout our whole wedding plan process, and they even allowed us to come visit the venue multiple times prior to the wedding, and it was of no charge. They are compassionate about the couples that get married at the barn, and they go above and beyond on every single aspect and detail of your wedding. We got married June 23, 2018 at the barn, and the weather was very unpredictable. There were severe thunderstorms the morning of our wedding day, and the sun came out midday, then right before our ceremony began, we had the rain return fiercely. They without question took care of us, and our guests, they made sure to follow safety procedures, and did everything in their power to make sure our day was unforgettable. We had to move the wedding from outside to inside at the last minute, and they handled this situation with calmness, and respect to us and our guests. We couldn't imagine another place to say "I DO", and for the value, you can't beat the barn. They set up chairs to our request, and they had decor on hand that was included in the price, you cannot go anywhere else and receive that high quality service for the price. We absolutely LOVE this couple and their wonderful venue. Choose this place, you won't regret it one bit!

I cannot say enough great things about The Barn at Shady Grove! We were married on November 4th, 2017. We fell in love with the rustic- chic feel of this venue. The chandelier is absolutely beautiful! But looks aside, the reason i recommend The Barn at Shady Grove is the owners! They LOVE weddings! Its a family affair! They went above and beyond for us! Shannon and Olivia helped out the bridesmaids and bride with transportation and the grand entrance and made sure we had whatever we needed the entire day! Ken helped us with parking, sound, lights, and even kept the little flower girls entertained! These guys were VERY professional and reassuring! They make you feel like family. Overall experience at the Barn was the BEST! Thanks TBASG!

Attended and helped with one of my bestfriends weddings and the owners were AMAZING ! They helped do any and everything to make Morgan and Luke's special day the best !! Defiantly give them a call !!
