Had the most beautiful wedding at Silver Spurs. Loved all the free decor we were able to use. The venue was so lovely and Misty was super helpful

We were devastated when our original wedding got cancelled due to a flood. However, finding the Silver Spur was the best blessing in disguise. Having a nearly all inclusive wedding venue made the planning process so much easier. Misty was so easy to work with and was beyond helpful. This venue is out of state for us which was a big change but she was so easy going and made the process so smooth. We couldn't recommend this venue enough.
Our day was absolutely perfect! My husband and I both live in Kansas and decided to have our wedding in the Dallas area since that would be a middle point for both of our families to travel to. I was a little afraid that this would be a difficult process since we werenāt local but Misty and other staff made it so easy for us to plan. We used vendors off of the preferred vendors list that were given to us by the Silver Spur resort and Iām so glad we did! Food from Q&Brew was delicious, flowers from Frosted Whimsy were beautiful, cake from Confection Connection was beautiful and so tasty and Omni Party Soultions DJ was great! Lunden our day of the wedding coordinator was fantastic! She was also our main point of contact throughout the entire process; she answered emails/texts in an adequate response time ans ensured that we had everything we needed and on our wedding day! We couldnāt have asked for more of a perfect day and Iām so glad we choose the Barn at the Silver Spur Resort!
I had an amazing experience. Lunden was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I had a question or needed something on the spot. Their decor closet is pretty extensive with some of the little odds and ends type things you don't necessarily think about but need. The barn and three different ceremony areas are beautiful. I had my ceremony down by the pond. The staff was pretty quick to get Tables and chairs set up for us so we could get everything set up. All around it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend any other future brides to The Barn at the Silver Spur Resort.
The venue was beautiful and everything I dreamed of. The staff were great and were always available if I had any questions at all.
Lunden was a big help!! I kept having random questions come up and she would answer them quickly! And was able to help us out when my fiancĆ© got injured. She also helped us with everything. The only down side was Mother Nature. But Iām thankful they helped us try to beat the heat that I was personally not expecting.
The place is absolutely gorgeous! And would refer this place over and over again!!

The Silver Spur was one of the few venues willing to accommodate our unique wedding and it turned it out oh so beautifully! Our ability to stay on the property with our friends and family made our wedding a whole weekend experience that we will never forget! The property was gorgeous and Misty was a great help making sure everything ran smoothly. If you are looking for an all inclusive venue with an outdoor ceremony and inside reception, I would definitely recommend them!
We had an amazing wedding! All the vendors were super nice and did an excellent job! Our planner, Lunden, was fantastic and so helpful day off!
The barn itself was beautiful. It accommodated all my guests perfectly. The bathrooms were nice. It was really clean inside and out. The outdoor venue was breath taking and very well maintained. Kitchen was a little small but had what we needed. London was amazing, anything we needed she helped with. She ensured that set up, event, and clean up went as smoothly. They gave us a lovely gift to begin our new adventures as a couple. They didn't care that we were a lesbian couple. They treated us with respect and care to our specific needs.

Lundon was awesome worked hard and was always around if we needed anything. She was so kind and made the whole experience so much easier.
This was such an amazing Venue. We loved Lunden our day of coordinator. The staff was gracious. The facilities were clean and the AC worked well. We stayed in the cabins on the property which allowed us to minimize stress and maximize family time, memories, and all the laughter shared. We rented the Venue for Friday and Saturday to allow for extra time to decorate and to minimize the stress since we did a lot of the decor ourselves. We utilized their on-site catering and the guests loved the food. We loved that there are so many ceremony options at this venue. It was a great centralize location for all families involved. We will definitely be using this venue for family events in the future.
The barn was absolutely beautiful. When we walked in Friday morning to set up the amount of tables we needed were assembled for us to set up, decorate and move to our desire. The barn was clean and smelled great! Lunden was there to greet us and help guide us through the stressful setting up and day by day itinerary. She was so sweet and made our day easy and stress free. She was there to ensure safety and made the day flow so easily. She made sure to check in with the wedding party to ensure we were getting everything done on time and if we needed anything throughout the day. She offered great advice and answers to all of our many questions. If you are wondering if you should book this venue DO IT! My day was made perfect due to Lunden and the beautiful venue itself! I canāt rate this venue high enough. We absolutely LOVED it!!!

They allow you to choose from their large selection of decorations, outdoor games, and different ceremony sites! We did a DIY wedding and it turned out stunning. Another plus, it is at a camping resort so several of our guests were able to stay the night and walk to and from the ceremony and reception. It was picture perfect and the assistance from Misty and Lunden throughout the planning process/wedding day put me at complete ease. I highly recommend The Barn at Silver Spur Resort. Itās beautiful!
The Barn was the perfect place for our wedding! Misty and her team were SO helpful, and always willing to make things work exactly how I wanted. She went above and beyond to ensure that I could have my ceremony inside (to accommodate for the weather) and still have all of my guests seated comfortably. We also had our rehearsal dinner in the barn, which ended up being so much fun. Misty and the other staff members were so laid-back, and supportive of anything we wanted to do (even borrow a table to play beer pong at the cabin!). Misty and her team were so efficient, I was able to have a stress-free experience, and make amazing life-long memories. Highly recommend!
Lundun was phenomenal!!!!! She went above and beyond to make sure my daughters wedding was amazing. Wasnāt real impressed with the cop or the other lady there during the reception. They were overly rude for no reason. But the night turned out wonderful and we had fun.
My wedding was the best day of my life! I am so glad I picked the Silver Spur Resort as my venue! Huge Thank You to Lunden who was the wedding coordinator from the venue! She literally went above and beyond to help out make sure the day was as smooth as possible! She gave 1,000% and it meant a lot to me and all those involved! Misty was amazing
My Husband and I had our date picked long before the proposal as it fell on our 5 year anniversary. We both agreed to find something close to home. We had done our research and narrow down to a few locations that where within 30 or so mins of our home that checked off all the boxes.
We both fell in love with The Barn at The Silver Spur Resort and everything they had so much more to offer. There is a barn for reception, Ceremony spot by the lake (and other locations offered), on site catering (The Q and Brew) and plenty of lodging from RV lots, Cabins, Chuck Wagons and a Ranch House.
There is two packages to pick from along with add on. We picked the all inclusive so we would have less searching for other vendors as you pick from their preferred vendors for, catering, florists, cake and DJ. Which made it so much easier to having a one stop pick venue.
Our vendor choices were top notch and had a great communication base with us as we were planning. Each and everyone was very understanding and worked with us leading up to the big day and through out the day.
Misty (The Barn Manager and Wedding Coordinate) and Lunden (Wedding Coordinator) both went above and beyond to communicate with me via text as I am hearing impaired and struggle to communicate over the phone. They both did everything they could to ensure the planning went smooth and was not stressful. The extra mile they went definitely made our wedding day a breeze. Lunden even helped with decorating and bringing my vision alive for our big day.
The decision to book with The Barn at The Silver Spur Resort was the best decision my husband and I made and well worth every penny we invested.
Our wedding was so magical thanks to this venue. We all had an amazing time, service was so great and everyone treated us very nicely. We will never forget our wedding day and hope to someday return to the resort to be close to the place where our forever began ā¤ļø
We had the most beautiful wedding at the Silver Spur!! Everything was perfect. Lunden was amazing at helping us put everything together. Because of her it was effortless and a fun painless experience. She stayed on top of everything and was quick to respond to any little questions we had. We catered with the Q and Brew BBQ by silver spur and the food was fantastic. Everything was smooth and perfect and even more beautiful then we imagined. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding at Silver Spur Resort.

I was in need of a venue fast after having issues with my first venue. I stumbled upon the silver spur and was pleasantly surprised It fit my rustic theme It was accommodating beautiful and very budget friendly It was amazing I highly recommend.
We had our wedding at the Barn at the Silver Spur Resort on 5/7/22. We booked with them over a year ago. The entire year planning up to the wedding date Misty was super helpful with all of our questions, making sure we didn't forget certain details and assisting us in any way needed. The day before and day of the wedding she was an absolute life savoir. Multiple times when things got stressful or complicated she NEVER hesitated to jump right in and fix or adjust. Everything turned out beautiful, I loved every bit of it all. Set up, clean up, etc was made a breeze for our wedding with over 150+ people. I would do it all over again and not change a single thing about it. Highly recommend The Barn at the Silver Spur Resort and even more so Misty as your Wedding Coordinator there!
5 Stars for the Silver Spur. The Wedding Barn was magical along with the outdoor location for the wedding ceremony. Guests loved all of it and a 2 minute walk to the precious cabins we stayed in, the barn, and the wedding. Best food ever at the Q and Brew restaurant on site (they catered). Rehearsal dinner at the Stage Coach was perfect and 3 min walk. Memories made in this magical resort
Lunden was amazing. She checked on me constantly throughout the whole day. She always made sure I was good and was a help with the decor and set up. Super sweet and nice! Enjoyed having her around as well!

Great venue! As soon as we toured, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. They have multiple outdoor locations for the ceremony. We got married on the pavilion and it was perfect! The Barn was also just what we were looking for in a reception spot. Thank you for helping make our big day perfect!
This review is long overdue and so to the lovely ladies who run The Barn, Iām sorry. My now husband and I had looked at numerous venues online, called many of them and then only toured 2. We liked the other venue a lot, but we absolutely fell in love with The Barn. From the various options available to us for the ceremony alone to the beautiful simplicity to The Barn itself, as well as the option to take advantage of the onsite lodging amenities. My husband and I have a very rustic home and to be able to incorporate that aesthetic into the biggest day of our lives, aside from the day our daughter was born meant a lot to us. I had the privilege of primarily working with Misty and Carrie when it came to planning and the day of and then Missy when it came to our bar. The care that is offered to all the details surrounding your big day is astounding. I do not doubt my wedding was as fantastic as it was without the helpfulness and attention to detail The Barn and its staff provided to my friends, family, husband, and myself. Thank you so very much!!
I donāt even know where to begin! From the moment I first stepped into the barn I knew thatās where i was going to get married! From the staff to the amenities they have it all covered! Misty and Carrie go above and beyond to make sure that your special day goes as smooth as possible! They also offer so much on the property and all of the staff aside from misty and Carrie are AMAZING and so helpful! The restaurant on site is the Q and Brew and the food is the bomb! They catered our wedding and all of our guests were raving about how good it was! We stayed on site in the cabin along with a bunch of our family and let me tell you that they did not disappoint! We could not have asked for a better venue, a better package, a better wedding coordinator (Lunden), a better location or anything else. This venue is absolutely perfect and a one stop shop for rehearsal, ceremony and lodging. We were so blessed to have such an amazing experience. Highly recommend!
We had our wedding in the barn at the Silver Spur and it was a fantastic night! The food catered by the Q and Brew had my guests talking about it for days after the ceremony. I was hesitant to hold my wedding in the barn at first due to it being located in an RV park, but walking into the barn was like walking into another world. In all it was a great experience and the people running the Silver Spur were great to work with!
This was an incredible location to have our wedding! The staff is so kind and helpful. Lunden answered our questions promptly and was wonderful to work with! We are so grateful that we chose this venue to celebrate our marriage!! They vendors they recommend are also very excellent and we were beyond pleased with how everything turned out.

It was the perfect location between East Texas and Central Texas. The venue is beautiful and plenty big enough. We loved the big house for the girls to get ready.
We really appreciated the use of Misty's stash of decorations. And our deposit was returned promptly.

Honestly the best day ever!! I couldnāt of asked for a better day! After 3 wedding dates and moving the wedding from CA to TX, due to Covid, we decided to look at the Barn for a possible wedding venue. It was the best decision could of made for our wedding! Misty and Carrie were amazing. They gave us our dream wedding. Sylvia at the Q & Brew made us an amazing dinner of prime rib (our guest absolutely loved it!) and met all our dining needs. I would highly recommend this venue! All our vendors were part of the venues vendor list and all exceeded our expectations. Really was an amazing day. Thank you Silver Spur Resort for making our day so special!
Absolutely gorgeous venue! Big enough for everyone, yet intimate enough to make the wedding more personable. Misty and Lunden were awesome! So great to work with and very accessible! The ceremony by the pond was beautiful. Can't say enough about this place. Absolutely loved it!
We had our wedding reception at The Barn at Silver Spur resort in December. Misty went above and beyond to accommodate anything I asked for and was always there to answer any questions or help in any way possible. It was by far better than anything I couldāve ever dreamed of!

Let me start from the beginning, Lunden has shown up time and time again when I asked her to! I needed somewhere to give me full commitment and communication and Lunden was great all of Silver Spur was Great!!! I asked to take my bridals on site and Lunden was there every step of the way. Helping me put my dress and shoes on for those special pictures.
I donāt live close to the barn. We live out in Houston and have family in Dallas and so we chose a place close to my family.
My fiancƩ was in a wedding at the barn years ago and knew I was going to love it. From the moment I stepped foot in the barn to the full packages they provide everything turned towards a yes for us to have our special day at The Silver Spur Resort.
On site they have everything you need and this was another reason we chose this location! They had so much for us to keep busy when there was down time on Wedding weekend: escape room, the ponds, the pool, the Q&Brew the fire pits.
From the Cordinator to the catering (Q&Brew) to the DJ (DJ Sherm) to the bar tender and security on site everyone was AMAZING!!!!
Seriously is was a night to remember. I recommend this location due to the amount of stress lifted off of the brides shoulders!

We originally had planned a wedding at our home. The very last minute we decided to look for a venue. The ladies at The Barn worked with me to find the perfect date. We had to cancel that date twice due to Covid and everyone was so nice in helping and accommodating by moving the date around. From our original date in March and finally getting to have our wedding ceremony in August, we were always in the know of what was going on. If anything had changed, we were always reached out to. It was one of the most crazy yet fun experiences!!! Upon arrival, setting up, getting ready, everyone was helpful, anything we asked for or about that made it happen!! If you are looking for a rustic venue, this place is beautiful!! My dream was an out door ceremony and and indoor rustic reception. I was able to have my dream day! I would recommend The Barn at the Silver Spur Resort!
My name is Audrey. My original wedding date was April 25, 2020. We had it booked at the Silver Spur for a full year and were so excited. Well, Covid happened in March 2020 and per the discussions and contract agreements, we decided to move our Big Day to the next available date, (which happened to be July 11, 2020). We first chose April 25, because of the weather, hoping April would be a cooler day, but weāre ok with the new day. After finalizing this, I realized my paternal grandparents anniversary was July 11, only 68 years before, which made it all the more special.
Carrie and Misty were so helpful throughout the whole planning process & proved to make everything so easy! They answered every question and all my issues from this (almost) bridezilla, (because of covid...), without hesitation! This venue and staff were so amazing and I recommend Carrie as the coordinator/planner. She and all the Silver Spur staff were amazing from the day we signed the contract till after the Big Day when they sent our refundable clean-up/damage fee back. And they gave us this amazing decorative board with our ānewā Last Name! It was absolutely the best day ever & I couldnāt have imagined or made it possible without this truly awesome venue or the Silver Spur staff and team! Thank you to all who helped make our Big Day (and my dream) possible! It really was the best!

The Barn at the Silver Spur was perfect! It was the first and only venue we visited and instantly fell in love! Misty and Carrie were absolutely amazing! They made our wedding day perfect. My husband and I had nothing to worry about. They helped from setting up to greeting and seating guest and even made sure to check on us while getting ready! We also chose to cater from their restaurant and the food was the biggest hit! My husband was able to give me my dream wedding at the Barn at the Silver Spur.
