e on the fence about hiring the wedding director I highly recommend hiring one. Andrea has an eye for decorating and Lisa is absolutely fabulous in every way. They both made sure my day was perfect. There was a slight issue with an employee during the rehearsal, but it was handled in an incredibly professional manner and there were no issues the day of. The view is amazing and there are several beautiful places for pictures. I wish I could have another wedding just so I could spend another day here.

drea was the best at letting us come to see the venue a couple of times and they are very flexible! once we booked them, everyone was very helpful by answering all questions and even providing beautiful decorations for the inside! the week before, my wedding coordinator, Lisa, was not only beautiful but amazing!! always stepping in to help and even dealing with our fun and crazy friends and family! she is beyond excellent! felicia and her guys were amazing setting everything up!! they listen so well and definitely went above and beyond to make it absolutely beautiful!! it was beyond my expectations and I could not have asked for a more beautiful, caring venue! and the food.....OMGGGGG to die for!!! there chefs are amazing and also husband and wife! truly amazing comfort food and it was most definitely DELICIOUS!! everyone at my wedding loved the food and were boasting about it....they definitely have a sense of warm welcomes and family here! I would never choose to go anywhere else for a day as memorable as this one!!! again, thank yall so much!!!!!

t manager, Andrea, gave us direction with lists of recommended vendors including cake bakeries, photographers, florists, dj, wedding coordinators, and even officiants. The facility is beautiful and the service impeccable! Each desire of the couple was listened to and suggestions were made to work with our budget and number of guests. We had a wonderful buffet dinner for 110 people that was complimented by all! Highly recommend!

. The lights and decor is perfect. It made me a proud mother for my daughter to get to have her dream wedding at such a wonderful location. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was excellent! I’m glad we have beautiful pictures to enjoy for a lifetime. We will also hold the beautiful memories made for a lifetime. The Barn and staff made that possible. as exactly what we wanted. They were willing to let us wait until the day of to call if we wanted to move it inside due to weather. This was vital since the weather report was saying 80% chance of rain until the morning of our wedding. The staff was very courteous, and Lisa was absolutely the best! She helped us out with all the logistics and made sure the event went seamlessly. They also helped us with a van to transport our guests back and forth to the hotel, so our guests could fully enjoy the evening.

I would recommend the Barn Event Center of the Smokies and all of their staff to everyone!! I could not have been any less stressed and who doesn’t want that for their wedding!! There was one little mishap with the food for children and it was taken care of immediately and so smoothly that absolutely nobody ever even knew there was a minor issue. Honestly, I can’t recommend this place and people enough!!

deal on the venue for the ceremony and reception so it was very affordable. I loved that everything was basically onsite, and setup and tear down is all done by the venue. The staff is very professional and they made every effort to make sure I felt taken care of. I would recommend this venue to any bride to be.

w that was what I wanted for our special day. After looking at several venues that were nothing like they appeared on their websites, I found The Barn. When I went to visit the location, I knew immediately that it was a perfect match! It is an absolutely beautiful place, with lots of character and a great staff! They went out of their way to make sure that everything went as planned, and that we were happy. They did our flowers, decorations and food. The wedding planner, Melissa, was fabulous. I don't know what I would have done without her! Their florist, Andrea, did an amazing job. I showed her pictures of flowers I loved, and she was able to take ideas from what I showed her to make beautiful arrangements that were perfect for the style of our wedding! (She was also very helpful with picking flowers that were budget friendly.) It really was a PERFECT day!!!

ut my event...it was wonderful. I had several...not one, but SEVERAL people tell me that my wedding and reception was the best that they had ever attended. The food was amazing. The decorations were exactly as I wanted them, and the surroundings were superb (a beautiful old barn with twinkle lights in the rafters and hard wood floors). People kept asking me how I found The Barn, because they were so impressed. Before the wedding, the experience was very nice. I met with the chef, the wedding coordinator, the owner, the decorator/ floral artist and others in the months before the wedding. Each person treated me with respect and catered the event to my preferences. Because of the small amount of staff members, I felt that I received a lots of attention and received customized service. During the event, the staff greeted my guests in their cars as they arrived and again as they entered the reception. They were so attentive the entire night. They set up the event and cleaned up after the event. The wedding coordinator made sure that everything flowed perfectly. Unlike so many other brides, I didn't have to worry about anything during the reception. The Barn made sure that everything was lined out before the day of the wedding. Each employee worked very hard to make the night a success. If I had one criticism, I would only say that The Barn was too meticulous with their charges. It felt like they never stopped combing through the plan to find every cent that they could charge for the event. The charges were still being edited during the last few days before the wedding, which tarnished some of the rapport that we had built in the months prior. I do have to say that they did let me cancel 5 dinners because of cancelled RSVPs a few days before the wedding though, which was considerate of them. Over all, I would highly recommend The Barn. After researching the area, I do not think that any other venue could have created the beauty and ambiance that they created. The reception was such a blessing. The Barn helped make my reception dreams come true.

, we took advantage of their package offer. You could use just the venue and bring in your own vendors, but we decided to use their catering service, florist, and wedding coordinator too. I definitely enjoyed the sort of "one-stop-shop." I have reviewed the florist (Andrea Mervin) and wedding coordinator (Melissa Drewry) separately. Using The Barn services simplified almost everything and made my life much easier!! It was also cost effective since they offered venue discounts when using their catering. The catering prices were also in-line with other caterers in the area (so we saved $ by avoiding "off-site" charges that other caterers would have charged to come to the Barn as well as the Barn discounts). We also loved the atmosphere, rustic/old fashioned & welcoming. The white x-mas lights on the rafters gave a lovely comfortable glow to the entire space. There was plenty of room for our 150+ guests, tables, chairs, etc, and open space for DANCING!! We also loved the built-in stage--used it to showcase our cake and ice-cream sundae bar. As an example of their accommodation--I really wanted an ice-cream bar, and even though it was not on their regular catering menu, they made it happen for me! I loved it and so did everyone else!! Servers scooped the i.c. and, they had so many toppings!! Everything was very reasonably priced (& I definitely did my research before signing anything-You should too--Compare prices on everything!). On another note, compared to the open-air barn options we also considered, the a/c was a huge plus in TN's June heat!! The Barn is also easy to find, right off the main road in Townsend. Overall, we were very pleased with the setting, atmosphere, service, and quality of everything at the Barn! If you are looking for somewhere sleek, modern, and trendy, The Barn is not for you. But if you want a comfortable, rustic (but with all modern amenities), and beautiful space--The Barn is wonderful.
