The Barn on the Pemi

We recently got married on October 14, 2024. To put it simply, the Barn on the Pemi crafted the wedding of our dreams. The venue itself is beautiful. We worked closely with Kendra and she was a huge help throughout the process. Her calm demeanor really helped me in stressful moments throughout the planning process. Everything worked out perfectly. All of our guest told us that this was by far one of their favorite weddings!

The Barn on the Pemi was the most beautiful venue equipped with the most fantastic staff. They really helped our vision come to life and we had the wedding of our dreams.

We got married at the Barn on the Pemi 9.7.24 and have nothing but great things to say about this venue, their wedding day coordinator and the food (omg, the food!)! From the first time we toured the barn, we immediately fell in love with the view of the mountains from the terrace, the charm and warm feeling inside the barn and that it was dog friendly for our ceremony! Their connection with the common man inn was great in setting up a room block for us and our guests, as well as transportation to and from the inn for our guests. We had issues getting a room block with another surrounding hotel so it was reassuring knowing we had the common man inn as a secured block. Grace was our day of coordinator and she was nothing but amazing! She was accommodating, very communicative from the moment we met up until wedding day, and the delivery of sangria to the girls cabin while getting ready was a very nice touch! She made our wedding day run so smooth! And lastly, the food, all of our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how GREAT the food was! We remember leaving our menu tasting feeling so full because everything tasted so delicious and we could not say no to anything. The filet was fantastic and we are still dreaming of the cupcakes and whoopie pies! If we were to go back in time and look at venues for our wedding day, we would pick The Barn on the Pemi over and over again! You will be so happy you did! -Steve & Kayli McNaughton

I cannot express into words how amazing the Barn on the Pemi was. Krysta was our coordinator for our 09/06/2024 wedding. My husband and I had our dream day and I cannot thank Krysta and the staff at the Barn enough for all of their amazing efforts and hard work. The entire wedding ran so smoothly and all of our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was and no one left hungry! The venue itself is so beautiful and is a dream. If you are looking for a barn setting this tops all others. And the ceremony in the greenhouse has been the most unique and talked about ceremony out of all the wedding we have been to. They had more than enough staff to accommodate our 110 guests and there were no bar lines. Our dream day could not have been possible without this venue and having a coordinator is such a plus to help with all of the details!

The Barn was the best choice we made for our wedding! I couldn’t have asked for anything more in a venue. I worked with Carole & Grace throughout the process and they were there for any questions along the way. Grace was our day of coordinator and I could not imagine the day without her. I felt no stress the day of due to her guidance and organization. We got married late August in the greenhouse and it was gorgeous. The natural flowers and birch archway were beautiful and made for what I know are incredible photos. Cocktail hour was on the terrace and then headed to dinner in the Barn. Loved the sweetheart table and the set up of everyone upstairs and then headed down for dancing. We got so many compliments on the food! This day was as magical and unforgettable due to the all the Barn staff and beauty of this venue. Would recommend over and over to anyone!

The Barn on the Pemi was the perfect venue for our September wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the team was incredibly responsive, helpful, and thoughtful in their communication. Their professionalism and expertise put us at ease throughout the planning process even when unforeseen circumstances created a change in coordinator; the team was available in person or via phone or email to talk through any of the ideas we wanted to see on our day. On the day of, the venue made for the most beautiful backdrop to our special day; our guests got to go on a journey through the stunning grounds as they transitioned from our greenhouse ceremony, to cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the mountains and lastly dinner and a night of dancing in the barn. Krysta and her day-of coordination team were absolute stars, and they made us feel like family throughout our entire wedding experience. They set up all of our decor and personalized touches, as well as worked with our outside vendors to help them prepare for the day. Her and her team truly brought our vision to life, down to the smallest details like the blue goblets and rust-colored napkins. The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were so kind and attentive to us and our guests. We could not recommend The Barn on the Pemi enough!

My wedding coordinator, Krysta, was the best thing that could have happened to my planning!! I was so nervous about everything….every question I had was answered and it just paved the road to an absolutely perfect day for my daughter. There isn’t enough thanks in the world to express my gratitude to her. Everyone there was very professional and very eager to assist anyone if needed. The food was amazing, the sundae bar delicious, and the tie the knot wall just ended the night perfectly. All of our guests had nothing but amazing things to say the wedding!! Michael Cirelli Photography and Lotus Floral Designs were icing on the cake!! So professional and courteous, I can’t thank them enough! Last but definitely not least, The Silver Arrow Band. Hands down, the best band I have ever heard. The horn section was incredible! A five star plus experience that we will never forget! Much thanks to everyone that pulled this day together!!

My husband and I got married at The Barn in July 2024 and had the most magical time! Grace was our day of coordinator and we cannot imagine the day without her! Grace was organized and incredibly attentive to all details. The Barn itself is absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony outside on the patio overlooking the mountains and were lucky enough to have the most beautiful day that allowed us to use the grounds, greenhouse, and the firepit. The Barn is two floors, which also allows people to watch the dance floor from above which makes for some amazing pictures! The sprawling amount of space that the venue provided allowed everyone to have a spot to relax and enjoy the night! The Barn does an amazing job with their grounds - the flowers were gorgeous and the venue is meticulously maintained. The food was delicious (we did a sushi martini bar, passed apps, and steak/haddock for dinner). We had several guests say that it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten - and I would agree! The staff at The Barn on the Pemi were absolutely amazing! We were being asked if there was anything that we needed and drinks were being refilled constantly. The staff at The Barn was so helpful in finding batteries for our guest book camera when it died and were just the friendliest people ever! We had the absolute best time at our wedding, thank you to the Barn on the Pemi for making it such a memorable night!

Choosing the Barn on the Pemi was absolute the best wedding decision we made. The setting has it all- the outdoor beauty of NH (we got married in the summer, and the landscaping and florals at the Barn were gorgeous), but with the comfort of having the indoor, temp-controlled Barn. And the Barn is SPECTACULAR- we’ve been to so many wedding venues, and the Barn truly has a “wow” factor while still feeling so homey and fun. Multiple people told us it was one of the best venues they’ve seen. We had our ceremony on the terrace, and the backdrop is truly spectacular. The greenhouse is such a great ceremony option as well, and we got some amazing golden hour photos in the greenhouse. Next, the people at The Barn truly made the entire process and the day of so seamless and special. We could tell that everyone who works there takes such pride in their work and loves what they do. The coordinator at the Barn, Carole, helped us through every step of the planning process with multiple phone calls, and was always so helpful and responsive to every email. And on the weekend of, Kendra and Jen were such joys to work with- I knew I was in the best hands, and they were so helpful and kind. I barely had any bride nerves because they were so wonderful. They truly thought through everything and wanted to make sure every detail, no matter how small, was perfect for us. And throughout the night and even the next day, the entire Pemi staff was attentive, skilled, professional, and kind! They helped everything go so smoothly. Lastly, I’ll say the food was SPECTACULAR, and multiple guests told us so! I recommend the Barn on the Pemi so highly- I feel truly grateful and honestly can’t imagine us having had our wedding anywhere else.

Kendra and Carole were very responsive and helpful throughout the wedding planning process. They answered all of my questions timely and she was very thorough in our detail meeting. Carole made sure that our wedding day went very smoothly and was calm the entire time which was great! All of our guests still rave about the food and the beauty of the venue and we couldn’t be happier we got married there!

We are so thrilled we chose the Barn on the Pemi for our special day! From start to finish we had a wonderful experience. They had great communication throughout the entire process, and we felt so supported by our wedding coordinator during the planning portion and also on the day of the wedding. The venue is gorgeous, the food was incredible, and everyone there had an amazing time. We couldn't have been happier with our experience!!

Our 7/4/24 wedding was everything we could have imagined and more thanks to The Barn on the Pemi and their AMAZING coordinator Carole!!! The Common Man’s catered food was delicious - we got endless compliments dinner and desert. The rustic looks of The Barn are breath takingly gorgeous. The mountain view that The Barn has is something you’d see from a magazine. And the green house looks like something from a fairy tail. The staff was also so FRIENDLY and hard working. We stayed at The Cabin in the Woods onsite and had friends at both the mini cabins and the Common Man Inn and Lodge which worked out perfectly for us. With that said, have your wedding at The Barn on the Pemi. You will not regret it!!! I cannot say enough good things :)

The Barn on the Pemi is an amazing venue! From the tour, the food tasting, all the way to wedding day - it is all very organized and an easy planning process. The greenhouse is incredible and so beautiful in photos. The food was also delicious and everyone commented on how great it all was. We got married on a rainy day and Carole made sure to have a thorough rain plan for us. We used the big cabin in the woods for the girls to get ready, making it very easy for pictures before the ceremony. The barn comes with a day-of coordinator to keep everything on track (we had Carole) which is a huge bonus. They were also very accommodating to our dog, Nacho! The groomsmen party stayed at the Squam Suite at the Inn and took the trolley over. The trolley system was also very easy to use for guests.We did our rehearsal dinner and welcome party, as well as our after party, at the Inn too. We loved how close and convenient everything was! There were only two small downfalls of the day. First, the bartenders were pretty unfriendly and rude - many guests commented on this! They also did not allow people to get more than one drink at a time as the night went on, making it very inconvenient for people to grab a drink for a friend. Even as the bride, they would have to come hand deliver me my drink when I asked someone to get me one. We paid for the top tier open bar package, so the lack of flexibility around drinks was disappointing. Secondly, the clean up staff at the end of the night took my bridal bouquet off the sweetheart table and brought it down with the other centerpieces, which we were giving away to guests as they left. A cousin then took it by mistake, not knowing it was mine, since it was mixed in with all of the others (not her fault at all!) Fortunately, we were able to track it down the next day so I could have it preserved, but it caused some unnecessary stress. Hopefully the staff will learn to take better care of the bride’s bouquet in the future, since so many people like to save them nowadays. We still rate the barn 5 stars because even with these small blips, the day was overall amazing and magical. I cannot say enough good things about Carole! She is a sweetheart and very very knowledgeable about the wedding industry. I would highly recommend the Barn on the Pemi!

My husband and I got married this May at the Barn on the Pemi, and could not have been more thankful to work with Carole as our day-of-coordinator, as well as the rest of the team at the barn. We had toured the venue the spring prior- and fell in love with the greenhouse with its blooming flowers for the ceremony, as well as the charm of the mountains in the background of the rustic barn. After we booked, we fell in love with the staff as well, and realized we could not have made a better decision. Carole answered every question that came her way with professionalism and punctuality. She was very flexible to work with- and outlined an amazing “run of show” after our final detail meeting- which made me feel like I had one less job to do leading up to the wedding. Carole was so calming the day of, and was so patient despite any hiccups that arose (on my end of course, Carole and her team operated like a well-oiled machine!). The bar and wait staff could not have been more kind and attentive- and I cannot say enough about the food. Our guests were absolutely raving about our cocktail hour hors d’oeuvre’s and the pretzel wall. I wish I could have our wedding meal every day. Between the amazing staff, and stunning venue- my husband and I could not be happier with our decision to book our wedding at the barn. If I was to rewind the clock by a year, I would book my wedding there again in a heartbeat!

I could not recommend the Barn on the Pemi enough. My husband and I got married there on 5/24. The Barn was the PERFECT place for it. Carole Palmer (Sales and Event Manager) was with us on our day. Everything went seamlessly. A guest even stepped on my dress by accident and ripped the bustle - Carole stepped in and pinned it all so it would stay up all night. Our guests have not stopped RAVING about the food as well. It was everything we wanted for our guests- fun, beautiful, delicious. The association with the Common Man made logistics easy for our guests! 10/10 recommend - you won't regret it!!!

We got married at the Barn on the Pemi in September and it was perfect!! We did our ceremony out on the patio over looking the mountains and the view was truly breathtaking! The venue itself was absolutely stunning and exactly what I wanted. Food was amazing! Our coordinator Kendra was incredible she helped us with everything the entire way and was on top of it all day of as well, couldn't of asked for a better person to help us plan our big day! She also gave suggestions for other vendors that we used who were also all amazing! I couldn't of asked for a better day!

We had a fantastic experience with the Barn on the Pemi for our vendor in December 2023! They were very professional and helpful through the entire experience. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Barn on the Pemi was the best venue to have our wedding at. My wedding coordinator, Anastasia was unbelievable and made the day everything I could have imagined and then some! She was professional but personable all at the same time. The venue was stunning. I only used a limited number of florals and decor because the venue didn't need much to dress it up at all. The food was delicious. We ordered the bourbon steak tips and roasted chicken for the entrees! The complimentary tiny cabin was quaint and adorable too, it was a perfect way to relax after the busy night. I couldn't recommend this venue enough!

I cannot recommend The Barn enough! Carole our coordinator was an absolute dream to work with and helped us every step of the way. The venue itself is gorgeous and the food was incredible. Our day itself was absolutely magical and I just wish I could continue to relive this day! The entire staff at The Barn was great the entire day and kept making sure we (and our guests) were well taken care of. If you’re won the fence, just do it. It truly was the best day ever.

My husband and I, along with both our families, cannot say enough about Carole and her entire team at the Barn. This was the first and only place we toured because we fell in love right away. The barn and the American flag took our breath away and the location could not be better. From day one touring the venue, to the morning after the wedding, we were blown away by the attention to detail and the amazing service. I constantly felt out of my depths with planning, but each time I spoke with Carole throughout the process, I felt reassured that they had everything under control. Getting ready in the cabin could not have been a better experience - the greenhouse, the barn, the tiny cabins, the view, the team, the food - literally everything was amazing. All night, the Barn team was one step ahead of us and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. It truly felt like they were an extension of our family and we couldn't be more grateful. This is the only venue we toured and instantly fell in love. Right from the beginning, Carole was extremely informative and answered every email promptly. Come the day of rehearsal we were nervous, Carole reassured us we had nothing to worry about, and she was right. Our wedding day was nothing but perfect. She did an outstanding job making sure everyone knew what to do and timed everything out perfectly. I haven’t stopped receiving phone calls and texts about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. The barb on the Pemi is 10/10, I would recommend this venue to anyone!! I want to again say how wonderful Carole is and how thankful we are to have her on our special day!

From the first day that we toured this venue we knew it was the perfect fit for us. It is just simply amazing!!! The barn itself is gorgeous but to add in the greenhouse and mountain views put this venue immediately to the top of our list. We worked with Carole from start to finish and she was INCREDIBLE. She covered every little detail from the smallest things that I would have never thought of to the big/ major events through out the day. Carole was there early in the morning to set everything up perfectly and stayed all day to make sure the event ran just as planned. She is super responsive throughout the whole planning process. Our day went flawlessly. There is not a single thing I would change from our wedding weekend. Everything ran super smooth and it was stress free thanks to the amazing barn staff and my incredible vendors. Let me add the the food was so good!! I wish I could have meals like that all the time. If you are considering this venue do yourself the favor and book it ASAP!! You won’t regret it! There honestly is not enough good things I could say about this venue!

I cannot recommend the Barn on the Pemi enough! Our wedding was beautiful. It was nice that the caterers came with the venue so that checked just one more thing off of our to-do list. We loved going to the tasting earlier in the year to try out all of the DELICIOUS food- we got so many positive comments on the food! Sam was our day-of coordinator and I cannot stress enough how absolutely wonderful she was. She was so on top of everything, helped us make decisions we didn’t even know we had to make, and helped us feel calm along the way.

This venue hands down is the best venue to have your wedding at. My planner Kendra Toy was so good with communication, organization and being there for me the whole step of the way with all my millions of questions. Jen Tower also helped me with some very special requests that I had, they go up and beyond. They are there to make your day is seamless as possible. I would not change a thing. The whole day was AMAZING! Not to mention how beautiful the venue is. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place or more perfect support team that made my dream wedding come true.

Carole was absolutely incredible to work with! The food was amazing!! All of our guests were raving about it. The venue space is absolutely beautiful. One thing that would have made the planning process easier is a more detailed FAQ sheet, but Carole was super responsive with my many questions. She made sure the day went smoothly and took all the stress off me. It was a great experience!

Carole (seemingly) effortlessly facilitated the wedding of our dreams. Her professionalism put us at ease, and she was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. This venue is unbeatable - it is stunning, has delicious food, and offers the ability to customize your day to fit your needs. We have absolutely no regrets and will never stop recommending the Barn!

There aren’t enough good things to say about this venue. The staff were all incredibly kind, thorough and thoughtful! The venue as a whole has so much natural beauty, feels so cozy and like home. The greenhouse is incredibly whimsical and airy. And the barn is warm and inviting. Having our wedding here was a perfect and near magical experience and our guests RAVED about how beautiful the place is.

I am so excited to write this review for The Barn on Pemi! This venue is spectacular! Our coordinator Carole, is amazing! From day one of planning she completely understood our vision. Carole answered our questions before we even knew what questions to ask. She answered all emails within minutes, and was so patient with any changes we wanted to make. On rehearsal day, Carole organized our crew, and we all knew exactly where we needed to be and when. She took the time to know everyone’s name, and what their role was in the wedding. During the reception, she was quietly in the background overseeing dinner and speeches. Everything ran on time and the flow of the evening was perfect. The following day, on pick up day, everything was all packaged up and ready for us to take home. She even included some extra cider donuts! The food was unbelievable, the staff was incredible! I cannot say enough!

My husband and I got married this past August at the Barn on the Pemi and we cannot stop thinking about what an amazing day it was. All of our guests commented on the stunning views during our ceremony on the terrace, the beautiful barn, and the amazing food. Carole was our day of coordinator and was so extremely helpful not only on the day of, but the months leading up to our wedding. She was so responsive to all of our emails and answered every question that we had. She was so organized and made sure everything went smoothly the day of. She also helped family members set up the barn on the morning of our wedding, which we greatly appreciated. We cannot say enough good things about Carole! We wish that we could redo our wedding day over and over.

Can’t say enough great things about this venue and our entire experience start to finish! Kendra was our coordinator and helped keep everything on track. She had a great demeanor and we didn’t have to navigate anything on the day of the wedding. The venue was beautiful, food was delicious and all staff were friendly and helpful. The booking for rooms at the common man was a bit confusing and always seemed to matter who you got on the phone. Ask for Lee, Mark or Abigail and you’ll be good to go! I would not recommend the spa atvygr common man. It’s Understaffed and shoddy service. We did use some of the vendors the barn recommended. The Fuschia Peony did an amazing job on the flowers! We used Hindsight video and they were very attentive but never in the way. We went with our own photographer Botelho photography and love what we see so far! Hired a band called Rare Form and they also offer acoustic for the cocktail hour on the terrace. Our daughter literally had a fairytale wedding and we couldn’t be happier! Book The Barn and ask for Kendra!!!

Got married here in August, everything was perfect! Our wedding coordinator Carole was so helpful with any questions we had and helped make the day so special. We can't thank her enough. Highly recommend this venue, the food and service was amazing!

Everything about the barn on the pemi was amazing!! Our day was completely perfect! The Communication was great and our coordinator, Carole, truly made our vision come to life even as we changed our minds. The food was incredible-we did stations for dinner, and the level of professionalism in service was top tier. They brought us our own apps and drinks and made sure we ate dinner! Our bridesmaids stayed in the cabin which was great for the location and made a good space to collect everyone between events. Everything was on time and perfectly executed, I wish we could do it all again because it was so fun!

This venue really has everything down to a science! Our wedding was seamless and just perfect - literally nothing went wrong. Our coordinator Kendra was absolutely amazing and took care off all the day off details so we didn't have to stress. Food is 1000/10. Our guests can't stop talking about the food lol. You can tailor your day to exactly what you want. There are SO many options and services that the Barn provides. I highly recommend this venue!! Thanks again team.

If you're planning a wedding or a special event and are looking for a venue that combines rustic charm with natural beauty, The Barn on the Pemi is an absolute must. We were fortunate to have our wedding here and we left with hearts full of joy and memories that will last a lifetime. 10/10 highly recommend.

We were married in August of 2023 and were pleased with our entire experience including our reception at the Barn and our stay & rehearsal dinner at the Common Man Inn. We worked with Carole, the coordinator and she was on top of everything and was in contact with us every few months, then weeks, then days up to the wedding. We would highlight suggest this venue for rustic, NH style weddings!

The Barn on the Pemi was THE BEST wedding venue! Our guests have non stop talked about how incredibly beautiful our ceremony was on the terrace and how amazing the inside of the barn is. Everyone has said it was the best wedding food they ever had too! The compliments have been non stop and it’s all due to the Barn and its team. Kendra was amazing as our wedding coordinator and she made communication easy and stress-free for us every step of the way. She is extremely knowledgeable on everything! We highly recommend this venue for your big day.

This venue has it all, from lodging on site, transportation in a trolley car, the beautiful blooming greenhouse with fragrant fresh flowers, the perfect barn lighting ambiance, the split level barn for a dinner setting upstairs to the party downstairs, the outdoor fire pit and cornhole boards, to the homemade ice cream bar! I can’t rave enough about this perfect venue. The amount of compliments I got from guests afterwards of how beautiful the venue was to how comfortable they felt there and enjoyed themselves, it made me feel even more validated in making the perfect choice for our venue. Our wedding coordinator Kendra gets her own section in the review because she was above and BEYOND!! Kendra’s professionalism and communication was 15/10. She was incredible in all aspects. I could ask her advice on anything and she always gave the perfect answer. She is a brides best-friend, even now after my wedding she is a friend of mine. She’s such a joy to be around. I truly don’t know what I would do without out her through this process, especially all of her help on the actual day of the wedding! She kept the flow going and more importantly on schedule and didn’t let me worry about a thing! Thank you, Kendra and the whole Barn on the Pemi venue workers for making my day truly perfect.

My husband and I got married at the barn on the Pemi on July 15, 2023 and it was just perfect. Kendra was amazing throughout the whole process, she was quick to answer emails and made sure my day was perfect. I would recommend the barn on the Pemi to any bride that wants amazing scenery inside and outside. I’m so happy that I decided to get married here and wouldn’t change anything about it.

We could not have dreamed of a better wedding day or venue! Rain? Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I wanted rain on my wedding day! Being inside of the most beautiful greenhouse while it rained made it even more magical! The lighting, the atmosphere, and the sound of rain made for the most perfect setting! Speaking of the rain—Carole and her team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we stayed dry! Everyone was hopeful for a break in the weather, except for me secretly wanting the rain to continue! We worked with Carole throughout the entire process and we are so grateful! Carole had a plan for every scenario including getting on and off the trolley, post ceremony coverage, and moving the cocktail hour from the terrace to lower level of the barn! I could not have been more appreciative—Carole even went the extra mile to help bustle my dress! This venue is top notch—from the food, the location, the atmosphere, the staff—all amazing! Every detail was perfect!

What an incredibly beautiful venue. We worked with Kendra, who was the saving grace to our wedding weekend. Kendra worked with us along the way to make sure that we had everything necessary for our perfect day. We were greeted with an absolute monsoon the morning of our wedding, which caused high humidity resulting in a trolley breaking down and me being over an hour late for our ceremony. Kendra and the team at the barn communicated with our guests and with me as I waited in the lobby of the Inn. Our guests received complementary champagne as they waited in a wet greenhouse and the second trolley fee was credited back to our account no questions asked. Despite the rain, our day was pure perfection. Kendra set up our decor to meet our vision, and she did it well. I could ramble on about this venue, but in short, everything from the food to the people was everything we wanted for our wedding day. I would choose the Barn over and over again if I had the chance!

Kendra and the team at the Barn on the Pemi have thought of everything for your big day so you don't have to. My husband and I wanted to relax and soak up every joyful moment of our wedding day. We are also party people who love a good meal. The Barn was built for this! The greenhouse made our outdoor ceremony dreams come true without having to worry about rain. The in-house catering has so many options and people are still talking about the food (go to the tasting HUNGRY - trust me). We didn't have to deal with the fuss of any chair/table/linen rentals. The venue on its own is so striking, we scaled back on florals and decor. The details of the venue are just the beginning; the service at the Barn is in a different tier. As someone who works in events, and has worked in the food & beverage industry, I was thoroughly impressed and touched by the kindness of the staff. My husband and I were especially thankful for Abby's attention and positive attitude during dinner, and all of the staff added to the joy of the day. Little things, like making sure the matron of honor and her 1 year old had dinner quickly, were not little. It made a big difference for our guests. The gluten-free and vegetarian options were as delicious as every other bite. Our wedding day looked effortless, which took a whole lot of effort from The Barn staff. We were lucky to have a beautiful clear night with a stunning sunset, and the guests made good use of the patio, firepit, cornhole, and lawn. We are backyard-barbecue kind-of folks, so it was a very authentic vibe for us. The ability to move around helped non-dancing guests find space to enjoy, while the party stayed inside. Kendra was a key part of how I kept my sanity through the wedding planning process. She was instrumental with balancing information from vendors with her experience, especially with the photography timeline, which was a point of stress for me. She is incredibly patient, knowledgable, and competent at problem solving. She worked well with our officiant at the rehearsal to make sure all the moving parts were smooth. I didn't realize how much fun a rehearsal could be, but we all laughed our way through. Her presence removed stress before it even occurred. I am so thankful to have had her as part of our wedding day! My husband and I, along with most of the bridal party, stayed at the Common Man Inn, and we loved it. The staff there are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The getting ready room at the Common Man Inn & Spa was the perfect place to get ready with the bridesmaids. We plan to come back to stay for an anniversary trip. I cannot recommend The Barn on the Pemi highly enough. If you're looking for the quintessential NH barn wedding, no matter the weather, look no further.

Beautiful venue!!! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful our wedding was and 7 weeks later we’re still being told how amazing the food was!!! We cannot wait to now attend a wedding as a guest at the barn to experience what our guests experienced at our wedding!

If you are looking for a unique and naturally beautiful venue, this is it. The greenhouse/barn combo is so stunning mixed with the views of the mountains- it’s like out of a story book! Not only was it a beautiful place to start your life together, but the staff was incredible. Carole was extremely helpful, responsive, communicative and right on the ball with everything. Anytime I sent her an email, I never had to wait long to get a response. I had given some direction in how I wanted the decorations set up, but really left it in her hands and everything was perfect- and I literally mean perfect. I am a perfectionist when it comes to decorating and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! Now the food….WOW. We had the steak tips and eggplant dish and both were incredible. Not just ours, everyone commented on how the steak tips were cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. The eggplant was delicious too! The one regret I have is that I wish I ate more appetizers- not to the fault of the barn- I had someone literally following me around with a tray of my own personal appetizer assortment and she would not let anyone take from it! Our drinks were never empty, anytime a server walked by our table- they made sure we were all set. The whole staff was so nice and always smiling. One guest commented on how they all were genuinely happy to be there. I cannot say enough great things about this place- it was the perfect place for my dream wedding.

Having our wedding at The Barn on the Pemi was truly the best decision we ever made. From the moment we toured the venue in 2021, we knew we would be getting married there! The Barn is absolutely beautiful from the outdoor space, the massive fireplace, the long wooden farmhouse tables, the chairs - literally everything is stunning. We worked with Carole throughout the planning process and she was so accommodating, professional, and organized. She really made our vision come to life! She assisted with some decor setup the morning of which was so helpful, and kept us on track during our wedding day/night. The rest of the staff were also so attentive and kind! Overall, we truly had the best day of our lives and could not be happier with our decision to host our wedding here. 10/10 would recommend to any couple looking for the perfect venue for their special day!!!

The Common Man is a New Hampshire staple. We wanted a venue that would handle everything and require very little from us as a couple, which was The Barn to a T! Kendra was our point person for the majority of our planning process, she was thorough, quick to respond, and even facilitated a last minute rehearsal dinner at The Common Man Inn and Spa. The food was amazing, especially the french fry bar as our late night snack! The Barn is a well oiled machine, great for those brides that want a beautiful day and want to enjoy it as well! The only thing I would change is I wish that the bridal party got ready somewhere else, they did warn me that The Cabin in the Woods was not the best place to get ready, but we really liked the idea of staying on the same property as the reception. Overall fantastic experience!!

The Barn on the Pemi is nothing short of amazing. Kendra is so caring and helpful to all her couples. You can truly tell she wants the best for your day. The waitstaff and bartenders were so kind and attentive throughout the day. The food was delicious and our guests loved it! It is so bitter sweet that our special day is over, but I am so glad we picked The Barn as our wedding venue!

We hosted my daughter’s wedding at The Barn on the Pemi on 4/23/23. It was perfect. Everything about the event and venue was amazing. Best night of our lives! The Barn on the Pemi was the perfect venue for our August wedding. Carole made sure that everything was perfect. She is a true professional and helped our planning and wedding day go so smoothly. The food was delicious! If we could do it all over again we would, choosing The Barn on the Pemi every time.

This was an amazing venue with beautiful mountain views and excellent coordinators/staff. The coordinator was extremely organized and responsive at all times. Everyone raved about how great the food was, how smooth the wedding went, and how great the staff were. There's also a really great cabin to stay in the night of the wedding that's right at the venue. I highly recommend this as a wedding venue!

My husband and I got married at the Barn last September. Carole, our Day of Coordinator and her team were amazing to work with. The barn and the property are absolutely stunning! We had bad weather on our wedding day, but Carole and her team did everything they could to accommodate the change in plans and ensure everything went smoothly. You could tell that Carole truly cares about her couples and that this is more than a job for her. In addition, the food was amazing! Our guests kept commenting how great the food was (which it was)! Carole and Team were the best! We booked our venue 2 years in advance, got the date we wanted and were a dream to work with. They took all my emails and helped create the perfect vision for the wedding. I had no stress while planning and working with Carole !

When my husband and I began looking at venues, we knew we wanted a rustic elegant setting to host our wedding. We saw many venues, but none that checked off the boxes. Once we saw the Barn on the Pemi, we fell absolutely in love! Kendra walked us through every step of the way and answered all of my questions (trust me, there was a lot!). Being just about 3 hours away from the venue, Kendra was able to make different local recommendations for vendors and was quick to send us pictures of the venue when asked. On the day of, our bus was to transport our guests were late. The entire staff was so supportive and always made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed. Our guests raved about the food (and are still talking about it) and venue space. I could not recommend the Barn on the Pemi enough, you will not regret having any function here!

We can't recommend the Barn on the Pemi enough! It was love at first venue tour, and Kendra was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and helping us find a date with peak foliage within our budget. The food is also incredible and our guests loved staying at the Common Man. We worked with Kendra and she was easy to get a hold of during the planning process, was incredibly helpful, gave us recommendations for vendors in the area, and is just so sweet and kind! Kendra took care of everything day of and it really helped me relax and enjoy the day. Our day was everything beyond what I could have possibly imagined!!

Could not have dreamed up a better spot for our wedding. We had our ceremony in the Greenhouse, in November, and it was nothing short of magic. Our reception and cocktail hour was in the Barn, which was so cozy and beautiful with the big fire place lit and the string lights twinkling. Not only is the facility beautiful and accommodating to all and any of your wedding needs or wishes, but the staff is friendly, professional, and provides great service. Between the delicious and seasonal food, great bar options, lodging through the Common Man (who are also so great with communication, assisting with booking, supportive of needs and requests, and friendly), options for ceremony locations on site, the trolley service (which is a HUGE benefit), after party and brunch options, I felt like we picked the best venue in the area. It made wedding planning feel like a breeze, and on top of that we worked with Kendra, who any bride would love and want to work with! She is personable, super timely with communication, supportive of you and your vision, thoughtful, professional, and overall just your perfect go-to not only on the day of your wedding, but throughout the whole planning process. Truly the best! Thank you!

The Barn on the Pemi was so beautiful and rustic. But what really made my wedding day absolutely perfect was the Sales and Event team. They kept everything so smooth, and classy and were so incredibly helpful. So many guests gave us compliments on how incredible the staff, view, and food were!

This is a tough review for us to write. We were so excited to have our wedding at Pemi, but unfortunately we were incredibly disappointed with our day. While we have written glowing reviews for all of our vendors, we cannot recommend Pemi as a wedding venue. The biggest issue we faced were the bartenders. They were extremely strict throughout our entire night. For starters, the bartenders refused to serve our guests more than one drink at a time. Because of this rule, no one was allowed to grab a drink for anyone besides themselves. This made the bar lines incredibly long. Additionally, the bartenders also told multiple of our guests that their strict policies were due to the out of control wedding the night before. This felt incredibly inappropriate. Their wedding should have had nothing to do with ours. Moreover, we really wanted a dedicated Scotch & Cigar Bar time. After planning this out with Kendra, our day-of coordinator, we decided to purchase the highest tier open bar option. However, at the agreed upon time the bartenders refused to put out the scotch. Because of this, the bride was then forced to debate with the bartenders for over 30 minutes, begging them to keep their promise we had agreed upon. So while Kendra's communication was great throughout our 2 years of planning and the barn is a beautiful venue, we cannot in good faith recommend Pemi.

We could not recommend The Barn on the Pemi enough - truly a 10/10 experience! My husband and I were originally not considering a "barn venue" for our wedding. However we knew we wanted a deep fall/winter wedding so our venue choices seemed limited. After some research, we found photos of the greenhouse at the Barn on the Pemi and we were hooked. The separation of ceremony and reception space allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous NH fall outdoors in November in the greenhouse, while the barn provided the cozy fireplace wintery vibe inside we initially wanted. Best of both worlds. While the venue itself sold us, Kendra and the staff are really why we'd recommend this venue to anyone looking. I am not a planner and was initially completely overwhelmed, however Kendra always replied to my hundreds of one-off questions promptly, professionally, and kindly. She made me feel like there was no such thing as a stupid question and always had an answer. Day of, my husband and I both felt way more comfortable and calm than expected and can say that was primarily because of Kendra! She always found us and directed us where we needed to be, made sure we were taken care of food and beverage-wise and check in with us throughout the night without hovering. Our wedding day was pure magic thanks to The Barn on the Pemi!

The food was delicious, the venue was absolutely stunning and every person that works there is incredible. Being able to get married in the green house and then celebrate in the beautiful barn and enjoy the outdoors at the same time was truly amazing. An added bonus was being able to enjoy the adorable, cozy and beautiful tiny cabins. We can't even describe how grateful we are to have worked with Kendra. She made this entire experience seamless and fun. From the minute we met Kendra we were so excited about our wedding day and we trusted and appreciated her opinion throughout the whole process. We would highly recommend having your wedding at the Barn on the Pemi... we promise you will be so incredibly happy that you did!

Kendra and The Barn on the Pemi absolutely knock it out of the park! We looked at countless barn wedding venues across New England and The Barn was our favorite by far. The barn itself, the multiple ceremony options, and the overall location/surrounding area is visually stunning. Not to mention, with the two ceremony sites, you get a variety of photographs, no matter what! The Barn’s menu is vast and their tasting event allows for you to sample many things before making a final decision. Our meal selections were outstanding, along with the dessert and late night snacks we chose. Plus, the dessert and late night snack displays are so fun and creative— they were such a huge hit! The Barn staff and service were incredible, both dinner and bar alike. Then, there’s Kendra. I’m not sure I can even do her justice in this review. She is gold!!! From start to finish, she made the planning process and the event itself absolutely seamless and perfect. She’s professional but humorous, responsive no matter how many questions you may have, prepared and organized, got all the answers and if she doesn’t she can get you them, so fun but calm and down to earth (which kept me calm even on my wedding day), efficient and takes the lead without being bossy, got a fantastic eye for detail (she beautifully set up all of my decor). I seriously could go on. If I could have invited her to my wedding as a guest, I would have! A connection that I will forever cherish. Our wedding at The Barn was everything I could have dreamed of and if I could do it all over again, I would!
