The Bay Jewel was once a refined jewelry store helping the residents of downtown Corpus Christi declare their love. Its new life as a venue continues this mission to bring joy to those celebrating their marriage. You and your partner will appreciate the elegance of the venue. Your guests will be welcomed by a gorgeous split-level property upon entering, that is both spacious and stylishly appointed. The Diamond Ballroom’s lower level features a polished concrete floor that reflects elegant chandeliers and stonework pillars. Open-plan in design it can accommodate different layouts to suit your party. Above the main room, you and your loved ones can enjoy a cocktail on the Pearl Mezzanine. Entering the ballroom via the grand staircase, the floor awaits for your first dance as a newly-married couple. There are also several smaller spaces that are ideal for your ceremony. Unobtrusively decorated, you can get creative and design a fairytale setting in which to exchange vows.
The Bay Jewel is a spacious and accommodating venue supported by passionate events staff. It can comfortably host up to 250 guests, and the staff will ensure each has a great time. The management offers planning assistance, including setup and cleanup, as well as access to furniture and event equipment.

Alex's unprofessional behavior and lack of attention to detail negatively impacted our experience. She made inappropriate comments in front of guests, failed to fulfill key responsibilities (such as securing the dressing rooms and following the timeline), and didn’t manage the staff properly. Her attire was casual and not appropriate for an event coordinator. However, Andrea, who assisted us earlier in the day, was exceptional, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help. The venue itself was beautiful and the perfect setting for our celebration, but unfortunately, Alex's performance overshadowed it. I suggest working with Andrea to avoid similar issues.

the groom. All the staff was very rude and had attitude to my guests and my husband the day of. The hospitality wasn't the very best either. They double booked our rehearsal because it meant they could get more money by scheduling an event at the same time as our rehearsal that was booked for months. Alex was nowhere to be found during the rehearsal. The only reason why our wedding and rehearsal was as amazing as it was is because our event decorator (Shawn from Illustrious Moments) decided on his own to take over for Alex at the Bay Jewel and make me feel special even though we didn't pay for those services from him. When talking with the GM there was a lot of false hope and promises. She had an excuse for every concern we brought up and voiced to her. No care or remorse towards our feelings as well. Because of all this and what I experienced as a bride I would not recommend this place to anyone because no one should be treated that way on their special day.

Alex was awesome during the reception! The reception was beautiful and so much fun! They are so easy to get in contact with for any and all questions. They help you with anything and everything, they will schedule a details meeting and go over EVERYTHING with you. Your rehearsal will be so smooth and fun with the ladies at The Bay Jewel. They even let me do my last minute Bridals at the venue because my outside photoshoot was rained out. They turned out beautiful!
