I can sum up in one sentence why you should hire Best Day Details to coordinate your wedding. Nothing went wrong; and if it did, Emily solved the problem before I ever knew or realized. Emily was SO helpful. She took charge, and ensured all the vendors were on the same page. While wedding planning, she answered many questions for me and helped reassure me if I was stuck between options. As a type A bride, who was nervous about everything, it was so nice to be able to spend my day relaxing, hanging out with my friends and family, and not having to worry. Every bride needs an Emily. So don’t get a knock off, get the real deal so you can enjoy your wedding day as much as I enjoyed mine.
Going into wedding planning I had no clue what a same day coordinator did. Our venue recommended we have one and I found The Best Day Details. This was one of the best things we did for our wedding! We had Emma as our coordinator and she was amazing from the start. We had several meetings on zoom and she was so organized and responsive to any questions. She helped us create our timeline and kept things on point. I cannot say enough good things about her and the job they do. The wedding day was smooth and she and her partner handled everything and I felt that we were in good hands! I feel that the Best Day Details is the best value and something that makes your wedding day perfect. I felt that everything was executed so well and our guests felt the same way. We also rented their Photo Booth which was so cute & fun! We loved seeing the photos of the guests after the wedding!
I am not sure I can properly express how incredibly grateful my husband and I are that we decided to not only hire a wedding coordinator for our day, but specifically Molly. She was without a doubt the backbone of our day. From the first meeting with Molly we knew she loved what she did and was genuinely excited for the opportunity to help us make our wedding day everything we had hoped for. Every meeting after this only solidified those feelings. I felt worried I was giving her too much work with our set up and she was adamant that it would be easy and not to stress. She really listened to me when I described my vision and what I was hoping for with all of the details I had created and when I walked into my reception tent my husband and I were both blown away that everything was executed PERFECTLY. If you're on the fence about a coordinator please, please, please do yourself the favor and book Best Day Details and Molly, if she is available. She is far more than just a "day of" coordinator. I felt absolutely NO stress on my wedding day and I kept telling Molly I felt like I could turn my brain off finally and just enjoy my day and it was all thanks to her. Hannah was our day of coordinator and she was AMAZING. As soon as I got engaged I knew I wanted to hire a day of coordinator, while I love the planning stages I knew the day of I wanted to be hands off and just enjoy my day (and allow my friends and family to enjoy it without having to set up decor or be on clean up duty). Hannah handled everything!
When we first met I knew she would be the perfect person to help on my day. We had meetings to go over timeline, decor, and all the final little details so that she could run my day smoothly and have it look exactly like what I wanted.
If anything didn't go as planned on the day I honestly have no idea because I never had to deal with anything, from the moment she arrived on site she handled everything, coordinating with the other vendors, set up, and take down. I was able to just enjoy my day with my husband and our guests and it was perfect!
I would recommend Hannah and the rest of her team to anyone getting married and wanting to have a perfect, stress free day.
If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Molly was our day of coordinator and helped make our wedding day the best possible day. Sydney was our coordinator, and Taylor was her assistant coordinator - both did a fantastic job, and they really made our jobs so much easier. They were fantastic, and definitely worth it for us.
Hiring Emily was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. We were hesitant at first about hiring a day of coordinator as we thought we had it handled; however, after our first informal meeting with Emily to discuss what TBD had to offer, we were 100% sold on the idea of a day of coordinator. Emily described her services and everything that she had to offer during that meeting, but the one thing that stuck out the most when we expressed our hesitance on the need of a coordinator is how she described the day of coordinator as like a doula in the labor and delivery process. Someone you don’t HAVE to hire, but someone who is there for YOU and your wishes and plans when you may not be in the most ideal scenario to do so yourself. After this, we were no longer debating on the decision to hire a coordinator and we knew Emily was the answer. She is BEYOND organized, efficient, an excellent leader, and communicator. Throughout our meetings leading up to the wedding, she asked us questions regarding our planning and given scenarios that I never would have considered and we were able to plan and address those accordingly. Not only this, she took a lot of the stress out on the week of the wedding by contacting all of the vendors and confirming all the little details. She even went above and beyond for us when we met the week of the wedding and we had mentioned we were not getting the best vibe from our DJ company. Our DJ and music was one of the most important pieces for us when we were planning our wedding because of how big a role music plays in our lives. We had spent a great deal of time researching DJs, reading reviews, getting personal recommendations, and had booked a specific DJ a year in advance. But all of this was out the window when our company switched our DJ and did not inform us that our original had left months prior until we called to confirm the week before our wedding. Emily could tell we were frustrated by this but we thought there was nothing we could do. She did not accept this and stated she was going to call our DJ company. The very next day, she called me saying she was able to break our contract with our original DJ and hire a new one THE WEEK OF OUR WEDDING. Not only did she hire a brand new DJ the week of, she hired a FANTASTIC DJ and for the same if not better price. I don’t think I would have trusted anyone else to make a major decision like this for us. Day of, Emily was the kindest, most affirmative, attentive, and quite literally hero of the day. She was able to be assertive in making sure our plans and details were carried out to the fullest and family members or acts of God were not going to intervene. She was able to think on the fly and redirect when needed. She has contingency plans ready for if something doesn’t go right. She made everything run smoothly (even when things weren’t going exactly 100% as planned i.e. dress malfunctions and emergency runs and I wholeheartedly believe we would not be married today if it weren’t for her organization and expertise. She has a fantastic personality and attitude that is perfect for the role of handling stressed out brides and I am not joking when I think of just how grateful we are that we had Emily be a part of our big day on a daily basis. We are forever thankful for Emily and the dedication she puts into her brides and business with The Best Day Details.
We hired The Best Day on slightly short notice (hired in December/January for a June wedding), and could not be happier with how it ended up. Hannah was absolutely fantastic, I did not have to think or worry about a single detail on the day of besides where I needed to be when. She took care of all setup based on exactly what I wanted, made sure everyone in the wedding party was where they needed to be at exactly the right time. She coordinated with all my other vendors, including florist, photographer, officiant, DJ, and both my ceremony/reception venue to make sure everyone knew exactly what was happening and what I wanted on the day of. She kept us to our schedule while also allowing for flexibility on the timeline when it came to my husband and I taking our time to enjoy things during the reception.
It was also very easy to communicate with her, she responded quickly and precisely to any emails I asked and any questions I had. During the meetings she was lovely to talk to and extremely receptive to anything I wanted, and any changes that needed to be made.
The AislePlanner tool you get with hiring The Best Day was also fantastic, I opened it almost daily during my planning process to double check I had everything done, it kept all my vendors, timeline, guests, and design ideas in one place, which is super helpful for a person like me who is not great at planning things! It helped ease the stress of the entire ordeal. We even used it for our wedding website.
Overall, I could not recommend their service more. You will not be disappointed with what you get, and you won't have to worry about a thing during your wedding.

If there is one thing you do for your wedding…it should be hiring The Best Day Details. We had Megan Terpstra as our day-of coordinator, and I’m SO GRATEFUL. I cannot imagine what it would have been like without her there. The Best Day Details’ planning software was super easy and helpful, and Megan really helped us nail down our timeline and make sure every vendor knew where they needed to be and when. Megan helped our wedding rehearsal run smoothly, picked up our lunches and dropped them off to both wedding parties on the wedding day, picked up our decor, set up the venue, tore down the venue, and so much more. She made me feel like I was the guest of honor at my wedding, rather than a host running around worrying about everything being perfect. You are literally paying for peace of mind that your wedding day will go just as you hoped, and it’s SO worth the investment. Also, we added on the photo booth like a week before our wedding and all our guests had so much fun with it! Soooo happy with everything TBDD had to offer!
I went back and forth on whether or not I needed a coordinator for our intimate wedding, but hiring Molly was literally the best decision we made. Not only did I not have anything to worry about for weeks leading up to the wedding, at the rehearsal, and on my actual wedding day; but I had family members and friends tell me during the reception and days after the wedding how incredibly nice, professional and helpful both Molly and Emma were the entire day.
They truly took care of everything so my husband and I could enjoy every second of our wedding day, and I am forever grateful that they were there. The number one advice I would give to any bride starting the wedding planning process is to hire a day of coordinator. I was lucky enough to have Emma as mine! The day went so smoothly because of her and I didn’t have to worry about anything. There are so many small details that go into planning a wedding and it was 100% easier having a coordinator to depend on to answer any questions along the way and make sure everything was ready for our big day. Emma and her assistant Abbey were so sweet and wonderful to work with. Everything turned out so perfect and it truly couldn’t have happened without Emma and the Best Day Details. Best decision we could’ve made for our wedding!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Maggie be our coordinator. She is so kind, calm, and organized, which is exactly what you need on you wedding day and planning journey. She made sure everyone was where they were suppose to be, created our timeline, set up, cleaned up, and most importantly, helped me get a huge stain from red wine out of my dress that was spilled on me while dancing.

We LOVED working with Megan Terpstra and The Best Day Details team for our wedding day. Megan was the most incredible day-of coordinator for my wife, Allison, myself, and our bridal party. Everything was organized so well from start to finish. Megan was incredibly helpful in our prep meetings, she ran our rehearsal, set up our venue for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, ran the entire event, and tore everything down for us at the end of the night. She was kind, inclusive, and responsible, and all of our guests had such sweet things to say about her professionally and personally. Our wedding day truly would not have been the same without Megan and we would work with her again in a heartbeat! We highly recommend Megan and the BDD team :)
I don't even know where to begin! We hired Monica from The Best Day Details and she was an absolute dream! She was so easy to work with, was extremely attentive, and had me feeling so at ease in the days leading up to our wedding! I was absolutely STUNNED at how perfectly she captured my vision and how beautifully she set up all of our decor. Her assistant, Sydney, was also fantastic! At one point, Alex (my husband) and I were signing our marriage license and made a comment about how we were bummed we couldn't attend cocktail hour and try any of the appetizers. Without hesitation, Sydney went inside and moments later came out with a plate that had one of everything on it. I couldn't believe it! Monica did the same thing later on in the night when Alex and I mentioned we were excited to try our signature drinks - they were already at our table ready for us after our reception entrance! Monica also captured SO many behind the scenes videos for us and sent them over the morning after the wedding. I mean seriously - she thought of EVERYTHING! I genuinely can't think of one thing that went "wrong" or any hiccups that happened on our wedding day! And every single person I've talked to has had nothing but wonderful things to say about both Monica and Sydney. They were seriously the best! If you're thinking about hiring a day of coordinator, this is your sign! I 100% will recommend The Best Day Details, and Monica specifically, to anyone and everyone looking for a coordinator! <3
We are SO happy we hired The Best Day Details for our big day. We worked with Shaely and she was AMAZING! She was such a big help during our three prep meetings and ensured everything ran so smoothly on our wedding day (my biggest stressor heading into the wedding. Our decor looked stunning thanks to Shaely and Breann. Our wedding also involved moving between spaces at the venue and cleaning up spaces at various points in the night and we never had to worry about a thing - Shaely and Breanna did a fantastic job ensuring everything was cleaned up in time. Overall, Megan was a joy to work with! She was extremely helpful at our rehearsal, on our wedding day, and throughout the entire process leading up to our wedding. She put together an effective timeline, gave helpful suggestions, and was always prompt in responding to my emails and texts. She communicated effectively with all of our vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page, which helped make for a seamless day. Wedding planning was definitely stressful, but Megan made me feel so much better about everything after each of our meetings.
Because of Megan, I was able to be present and fully enjoy our day and not worry about a THING! If there were any issues that arose, my husband and I had no idea because Megan is THAT GOOD! I can't express how grateful I am for Elysia at The Best Day Details that helped prepare and execute my wedding to perfection! I knew I could put in the work and do the research and find and book the vendors I wanted, but I NEEDED a day of coordinator to help with details such as timeline, ceremony rehearsal and actual running, set up, tear down, and so much more I probably didn't see the day of my wedding. Our meetings leading up to the wedding day answered any and all questions I had and even called out details I would have never thought of on my own. The professionalism, expertise, and genuine care and excitement Elysia had for us was truly special. I didn't think it was possible, but I had no worries the day of my wedding as I was getting ready. I knew she could handle anything that came up, but luckily we worked well together to be prepared as much as possible ahead of time. Some extra special details her and her assistant handled: moving a large flower piece from my ceremony arch to a mantle in the reception space, hanging letters I brought onto a flower wall, coordinating a flawless "photo dash" after dinner, and handing off important items like the wedding cards and marriage license to my mom at the end of the night. I am so so so happy with Elysia's work and The Best Day Details business - I couldn't recommend enough! THANK YOU!
Megan Terpstra was our coordinator and was truly amazing! It was such a relief knowing everything was being taken care of the day of so we could be in the moment. She was so kind, reassuring, and extremely helpful! If anything ended up going wrong the day of we wouldn’t know because Megan handled everything! We would 100% recommend Best Day Details and Megan for wedding coordination.
We also added on their photo booth option and everyone LOVED it! There was always someone using it and it was so nice to be able to see everyone’s photos the day after the wedding!
After spending months planning a wedding, there was no better feeling that sitting back and getting to enjoy the day while it all came together flawlessly, thanks to Elysia! Due to Elysia’s organization, I felt truly relaxed and comforted both leading up to the wedding and on the day of. Like many other brides, I did not know if I needed a day of coordinator. I went back and forth on whether or not it will fit in my budget, but I am sooooo happy I did it. Elysia was AMAZING. She helped me write and modify my entire timeline as well as called the vendors the week of to make sure the timeline was all in order for wedding day. She ran the entire rehearsal at the venue (keep in mind she doesn't work for the venue itself, she came and ran the rehearsal in an unknown space) and did the best job. All questions were answered and we all felt confident going into wedding day. Elysia came bright and early wedding day and went over details that she knew were important to me and asking how she can help the day run seamless. She went above and beyond during my wedding including moving candles/signs from ceremony to reception, directing my guests to the correct areas/tables, and talking with my other vendors to make sure we were all on the same page. The day was perfect and I could not have done it without Elysia.
If you need an event coordinator, these are your girls. I worked with Emily and then Shaely and let me tell you, they know their stuff! Shaely was a god send leading up to and the day of the event. I seriously owe her all of the thank yous I have in me for the magic she worked at our wedding on 6/24. She is a professional rockstar, and will leave her wedding planning fairy dust on anything she touches! We had some issues with our transportation and without hesitation she was on it. If anything went wrong during the wedding, my husband and I never knew it. My husband does not give compliments and when we went to bed that night he simply said “ IDK how much Shaely cost to hire, but she was worth every penny”. That is truly the best review I can give. Thank you so much best day team, you girls are what brides need!
We were hesitant to hire a day of coordinator for our wedding, and interviewed several different companies before selecting The Best Day Details and all I can say is WOW! We were blown away with everything that they did for us. They provided so much more than what you think of as a day of coordinator. Leading up to the wedding, we had several meetings with our coordinator, Shaely, to go over details, timeline, decor, etc. One of my biggest concerns was our timeline, and Shaely assured us that we could make everything happen and we did! Our reception venue was right in downtown Detroit and we had a 45 min drive between our reception venue and church, with about 75% of our 250 person wedding traveling from out of state and staying downtown, not to mention a sold out concert at Ford Field happening the night of our wedding. Best Day Details helped us plan our timeline down to the minute and we were actually able to get ahead of schedule and have zero issues with transporting our guests to and from the ceremony and reception.
The software they use, Aisle Planner, was worth the money itself. It made it so easy to plan our wedding. I used almost every feature it has. It made planning so organized and helped me plan details that never would have crossed my mind.
We worked with Shaely and she was WONDERFUL! Throughout the planning process she was only a text or email away, and she always answered all my questions. She was so great to work with and made our rehearsal and day of our wedding run seamlessly! I honestly could not imagine having my wedding without her helping run the show. She was so kind and sweet, and was great at taking charge. She took my concerns head on and made sure the details we perfect so that we had a timeline that worked in every detail we wanted to capture that day. She was extremely attentive and detailed oriented and just an absolute delight.
I cannot recommend Best Day Details and Shaely enough! Our wedding was the picture perfect day, it was everything we could have imagined and more, and this could not have happened with Best Day Details and Shaely! If you are hesitant in hiring like we were, do not be! It will literally be the best money you spend on your wedding !
This was by far the best investment I made for our wedding day. Emma was incredible through the whole planning process, and she really made my vision come to life. The planning software they give you access to is amazing and helped me stay on track and also helped me add notes and images to my vision. As we had our meetings, especially as the wedding date neared, I was more and more anxious and Emma just took all of that stress away. She was always so responsive, kind and calm. I trusted her implicitly with our plans and I was so relieved the week of our wedding as I didn't have to handle final confirmations with vendors and other arrangements, I could just enjoy it. Walking into our reception room took my breath away. Everything had come together just as I had pictured in my mind. Emma (and her assistant Shea) did the most incredible job on the day of our wedding; setting up, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. It was such a blessing that we were able to just show up, enjoy each moment and have the most perfect day. If you are on the fence about hiring The Best Day Details, don't be! Just do it! As a Type A, very organized person I didn’t think I needed a wedding coordinator. However, we met with a few anyway just to get a feel and the moment we met Megan we were sold. Her personality is so warm and encouraging and her attention to detail is unmatched. We expected some hiccups the day of but we didn’t have a single one because Megan did such an incredible job of planning, communicating, and making things happen even when I didn’t give her direction. I cannot overstate just how relaxed and not stressed I was on our wedding day and that is all thanks to Megan. I will continue to recommend Megan and Best Day Details as they were so easy to work with and helpful. We also rented the Photo Booth from them and I’m still getting texts a week later from guests about how much they loved it. Of all the vendors we booked, this was the most worth it, bar none. Consider this your nudge you needed to book Best Day Details - you will not regret it!!

Emily at best day details may be our favorite human alive! She was with us every single step of our planning process. She helped up make decisions and handled anything we needed. She worked meticulously on the day of to make sure we had 0 stress. People always say “something will inevitably go wrong at your wedding and you just have to push through it.” Not with Emily. We had 0 issues and she made sure everyone had happy, where they needed to be, and stuck to our very strict timeline of events. We gush whenever we talk about her, she really was the biggest asset to make our wedding happen. Everyone in our wedding party (most of whom are married) applauded Emily and her effort and noted they’d wish they had someone like that at their own wedding! Needless to say we love Emily and you will not regret hiring her for your big day. Believe me when I say it’ll be the best decision you can make for your wedding!

I was not the kind of bride who particularly enjoyed the wedding planning process, but the meetings with Hannah helped to keep my husband and I organized and reassured that we were on the right track. But most of importantly all, the day of our wedding, Hannah and her assistant truly took care of all of the random odds and ends that are inevitable in every wedding and allowed us and our loved ones to fully and completely enjoy the day without worry or stress! They helped to set up our decor, ensured our timeline ran smoothly, even cut and helped serve our cake. Everything came together better than I ever could have imagined, and for an anxious bride, the gift of having a carefree wedding experience focused on my husband, family, and friends was worth every cent. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Hannah at the Best Day Details and it was a great experience. I had some very specific decor set-up in mind, and Hannah executed it flawlessly. My vision really came to life. I wanted activities for the kids at each seat and a special glowcart to be rolled out when dancing started and lots of those little details. It was a perfect day and was so happy that Hannah handled it all while I got to live in the moment and enjoy every aspect. Truly a beautiful wedding and without Hannah, the personalized design, timeline flow, and easy day for the bride would not have occurred.
Hannah was WONDERFUL to work with! I lived out of state while planning my wedding and she was very flexible with the time change. She was very easy to talk to and had such great ideas! Elysia with the Best Day Details was A DREAM!!! I could not have imagined a more attentive, detailed, and focused coordinator driving our wedding day. Every step of the way she made sure we were thinking of details both big and small. When it came down to it, Elysia executed every single aspect to PERFECTION! Monica was one of the best investments! At first I didn’t think I needed a day of coordinator but holy cow was I wrong! She was there to handle all of the details day-of. As a type A bride, I thought I would have every detail perfectly planned....LOL. Throughout the process, Emily's expertise helped me think of things I would have never considered, helped me plan for scenarios, and helped organize all of the details that go in to the big day.
By the time wedding day rolled around I had MAJOR decision fatigue. Emily and Megan were amazing at taking the lead and making final decisions, handling unexpected situations, and making the day run seamlessly.
I know that they went above and beyond and handled tricky vendor situations and timeline adjustments.
With everything from setting up lots of decor for a 250 guest wedding, running a rehearsal on the day before, meeting with vendors day of, figuring out schedule conflicts with our transportation, rushing to the bar to turn off the music that was playing music during our ceremony, holding our precious dog during the ceremony (Thanks Megan), making sure we signed our marriage license, and so much more.
They say things are bound to go wrong on your wedding day, but having Emily and Megan there allowed us to have what felt like the perfect day!
Claire was our wedding coordinator from The Best Day Details and holy crap am i SO glad we had her! From the first meeting I felt an instant trust in her and such a relief we had her. She quickly became my go-to for any questions or quick-connect meetings. We did all our meetings via video chat since I am outside of Grand Rapids and she was so informative it felt like a facetime call with a friend. I was super detailed about my vision and she brought it to life so eloquently. She thought of things I never would have considered and kept the day flowing so effortlessly. She is such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wedding planning and is SO detail-oriented. I went back and forth with asking myself... “do I really need a coordinator?” The answer is yes, 1000 times yes! I look back to my day and think “wow, it couldn’t have gone any better!” And I owe so much of that to Elysia.
Leading up to the wedding, she was incredibly helpful making sure that I was prepared for the big day and covered all her bases so the day of she could truly just do her thing!
Did things go wrong on my wedding day? Who knows! Because she handled it all. That’s how it should be! I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding knowing she was attentively leading the day.

Even though I hired a day of coordinator, 6 months before the wedding Elysia was having phone calls with me and helping me with everything. The best decision we made for our wedding day was hiring Emily as our coordinator for our 10/7/2022 wedding at The Pine Tree Barn!!! She helped so much in the weeks/months leading up to the wedding in finalizing the small details and helping with things we maybe were forgetting. The Best Day Details was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Having a coordinator take care of every detail on the wedding day meant I (the bride) could completely relax and just enjoy each moment of our wedding. And it meant my mom didn't have to take care of things, so she was able to participate in more of our day as well. Emily DeRitter was our wedding coordinator, and man was she A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Hiring Emily from the Best Day Details was probably the best decision we made when it came to our wedding day. Her communication (via email, phone call, text, video chat, Google docs, etc.) throughout the entire process was excellent! She was always incredibly organized, thoughtful and prepared for anything. We had unlimited email access throughout the entire process, and had scheduled meetings at different increments leading up to the wedding. There was constant communication the week of the wedding and day of the rehearsal. The week of the wedding, Emily reached out to all of our vendors to make sure everyone was aligned on timing which took a huge weight off my shoulders. Since we did not have access to our venue the night before, Emily successfully ran the rehearsal off site in a college parking lot in a record time of 45 minutes. On the day of the wedding, Emily and her assistant Bridget worked their tails off to make sure everything was perfect! I was a very hands-on bride when planning my wedding, but had complete trust in Emily's abilities to grab the reins and run the show. On the day of the wedding, Emily insisted I pop a squat in the sweetest way possible and enjoy my day. PSA: let your coordinator do his/her job on your big day; I promise Emily and her team won't let you down! It was such a relaxing and memorable day all thanks to Emily and Bridget! I could not recommend The Best Day Details and Molly enough!! If you are searching for a day of coordinator vendor look no further you have found the best of the best. We had multiple video calls with Molly (starting 5 months out) and she was available throughout the whole planning process to answer any questions. I was definitely stressed about the timeline and having her template and help on guiding us on how long things usually take/when was so helpful. There wasn't anything we asked of her that she couldn't do! On the day of the wedding Molly and her assistant, set up ALL of our decorations (including putting a tulle arch on a very large tree for our ceremony- it looked even more beautiful than I was anticipating) & taking them down at the end of the night, helping get together everyone for photographs, and making sure everything was going according to the timeline. I also went up to molly multiple times with things other vendors were missing/didn't do and she straightened it out right away! It took all of the stress off of me and my family for the day so we could just enjoy and soak it all in. I had so many friends and family come up to me and ask if she was our coordinator and say what an amazing job she did! They even mentioned how they would definitely want a day of coordinator for their future weddings. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Molly and team!

They were incredibly responsive and so understanding of difficulties we encountered leading up to our big day. I couldn't recommend Best Day Details enough! Megan Coburn was amazing and helped me keep a level head throughout the whole weekend, and even leading up to it. I was a Type A bride who wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. My something blue was a binder with contracts, contacts, notes, plans, vows, place cards, seating charts, timelines, etc. I happily handed over my binder to Megan and her assistant took care of everything. I recommended them to my own brother and future sister-in-law, and I will recommend them to anyone else getting married. Best money we spent on the wedding day. You cannot put a price on a sound piece of mind, but if you did, it would be whatever The Best Day Details is charging
Working with The Best Day Details was so amazing! There were a lot of little things that we wouldn't have thought about that Hannah helped us take care of. We were planning an out-of-state wedding and hired Molly to be our day-of coordinator. Even though she was a day-of coordinator, we had multiple calls with Molly in the year before our wedding and she was always available for questions that we had! Molly was so knowledgeable and supportive during all of our conversations with her. She even drove all the way over to our venue a couple months before the wedding to do a walkthrough with the caterer while she was on maternity leave! Unfortunately, a few days before our wedding, Molly couldn’t attend our wedding due to a family emergency – she was SO QUICK to set us up with another coordinator at Best Day Details (Elysia) and made sure that Elysia was brought up to speed on the plan! We met Elysia for the first time at our rehearsal the day before, and she was so sweet and on top of things. Between Molly and Elysia we were absolutely in good hands and our wedding went off without any hiccups!! Emma did a great job and was awesome to work with. I didn't even realize how little I knew about organizing a wedding until we started working together and she made the process 1000x less stressful from dealing with vendors, timeline planning, attending venue meetings and was always available if I needed anything. We did have issues with our venue and Emma did her best to keep us out of that which we really appreciated. She and her assistant also worked with the florist to set up and take down all our decorations and it was loaded into my car at the end of the night so we got to enjoy the whole day as stress free as possible. Hands down the best decision of planning was working with her.
Best Day Details did an incredible job of coordinating our wedding day! Hannah was a joy to work with from the very start. We had a lot of day of logistics to tackle for our wedding (different ceremony and reception venues, transportation, etc.) and Hannah made sure everything was handled. MOLLY!! I would give her 10 stars if I could. My day was so carefree knowing she was handling all the small details. Our day was filled with unpredictable weather but she was on it and we had a plan in place no matter what the outcome. My husband and I both agree that this was the best money we spent on our wedding. Not having to do set up and getting to leave your wedding knowing everything was packed up, secure, and my rentals were in safe hands to get back to other vendors was the BEST! 10/10 recommend. My #1 priority when hiring a coordinator was being able to fully enjoy my wedding day without worrying about anything that may go wrong. Best Day Details made all of that possible. If there were any fires that day, I would not have known. Hannah was so easy to work with since our first meeting and kept us on track. She periodically checked in with us throughout the wedding day to ask us how we were doing and handled any concerns that arose. From helping to create our timeline, handling our vendors, running our rehearsal, and everything and anything the day-of our park wedding, Hannah knocked it out of the park! My husband mentioned he was skeptical whether the cost of the coordinator would be worth it. After our wedding, he said it was 100% one of the best investments we made.
Hiring The Best Day Details for our wedding in May 2022 in Ann Arbor, MI was the best decision we made for our wedding! We worked with Emily and we met with her multiple times leading up to the wedding. She was so organized and helped us make sure everything was ready to go for the wedding day. They think of everything, which really helped us during preparation leading up to the wedding.
Emily and her assistant, Shaely, were there on our wedding day - they setup all decorations and handled every little detail of the wedding day. Emily communicated with all other vendors for arrival times, disbursement of tips and thank you cards, parking, and any questions anyone had about the day. This allowed me and my husband to completely enjoy our day without any stress. We simply just showed up and it was all done and BEAUTIFUL. Emily has such a calm demeanor, which was extremely helpful to have around on the day of the wedding. They took care of setup and cleanup of everything! They do SO much more than just showing up to help coordinate on the day of the wedding - this is a really amazing company and you can tell they care a lot about the people they work with. Hands down the BEST decision I made for our wedding was hiring a day of coordinator from The Best Day Details! From the months leading up to the wedding and even the day of in sweltering August heat, the team did an outstanding job to make sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly. If there was something that went wrong on my wedding day I wouldn't have had a clue because the team took care of everything! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Hannah for the months leading up to my wedding and she was not only the sweetest person to work with, she was very professional, attentive to detail, and really took the chance to get to know me, my fiance, and our hopes and dreams for the day.
