Where do I even start! We hired Paula as our day of coordinator for our wedding. From our initial conversation to our big day, Paula was incredibly organized, personable, kind, and calm. Leading up to the wedding she was super responsive and was helpful in keeping us on track, while also giving us some much needed advice and guidance. She did a wonderful job putting together our timeline and made sure that everything went according to plan. Paula was the most perfect addition to my wedding day. She was crucial to every moment from months before the big day and especially on the big day. She was helpful in answering any questions I had prior. The day of the wedding, every minute was planned and I didn’t have to lift a finger! We had the privilege of working with Paula at a church wedding and she was wonderful! Every detail was taken care of for us as the wedding musicians, as well as the happy bride and groom and their wedding party. Paula was such a great addition to my brothers wedding this past weekend! She was extremely easy going and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She also came fully equipped with every little thing you may possibly need throughout the day which came in handy! Nail glue, bandaids; you name it, she has it! Paula was great not only the day of the wedding but also in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She has so much experience, knowledge and knows what to anticipate. I cannot imagine not having her and all she brings to the table on our wedding day.

I had done most of my own wedding planning but decided to hire a day of coordinator because we had a lot of logistics on the day of (like moving locations, transportation, etc) that I didn't want to deal with. I found Paula on the Knot and upon our first phone call I knew I wanted to work with her. She was extremely professional, calm, poised and SO organized - everything you could possibly need in a planner! Even before the wedding, Paula went above and beyond. She reached out to all my vendors to confirm details, and asked questions and checked off items I wouldn't even have thought about (like collecting vendor's insurance, timeline logistics, etc). We had 2 check in calls with her the month of the wedding and she gave us a detailed list of items we had to do and buy (along with the links to them) and checked in consistently to make sure we were on track. On the day of the wedding, Paula was like our fairy Godmother. She steamed my bridesmaids dresses, sewed one of them into their dress because it was more revealing than expected, consistently handed me food and water to make sure I was hydrated and fed, checked in on the groom and groomsmen, confirmed the transportation was on time & ready, and let everyone know she was the point person for the day; I didn't hear of any issues, complaints or questions from anyone all day because Paula got to them first! The wedding truly would not have been able to operate without Paula. We had a rainy morning the day of and as we were pulling up to the Church the driveway was was blocked with cones so the only option was for the bridesmaids to walk in the rain. Paula sprinted in the pouring rain to remove the cones and allow our trolley to pull up right next to the doors of the Church- truly the MVP! On top of that, I had also made a few requests the days leading up to the wedding- like having confetti during one of the dance sets and Paula said she'd take care of it. She coordinated with the DJ and we had a confetti dance at the most perfect time! If you're considering a day of coordinator, Paula is the absolute best choice! If you're not considering a day of coordinator, I would still recommend Paula to anyone planning anything. If you want your wedding to go off without a hitch and you want to be able to truly enjoy your day, I would recommend Paula in a heartbeat. She's an amazing planner and an even better human.

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding at Tappan Hill this past weekend and Paula was the best coordinator we could have asked for! She was professional, prepared, and went above and beyond. It rained heavily all day and she kept us moving from the hotel to the church to the reception as seamlessly and dryly as possible. She also sewed the front of one bridesmaids dresses, steamed our dresses and refashioned the bride’s sleeveless straps for the reception. Couldn’t have done it without you Paula!

Paula is incredible — I can’t recommend her highly enough. My sister hired Paula for her wedding last June, and my family loved her so much we hired her for mine! Paula not only helped the day-of, but she put a lot of work in before the wedding as well by coordinating with vendors, building a timeline, etc. She worked with some of our more difficult vendors and made the process significantly less stressful. Paula’s calm demeanor was greatly helpful throughout the process, particularly in the week leading up to our wedding. Any time I mentioned I felt stressed by something, she would reassure me that she’d take care of it, and I could relax. I only learned of small snafus after my wedding because Paula took care of them all and ensured my husband and I could sit back and enjoy our wedding. Paula was the perfect addition to my wedding day! I was late to hire her on, about 2.5 months before the big day. I knew I would need someone to run everything on the wedding day, but Paula did so much more than that. Paula seamlessly took over the vendor management and the communication with the venue. The weekend of the wedding she was the calming presence I needed. She was in charge at the rehearsal! Making sure my thoughts were heard and keeping the bridal party in line. The morning of the wedding she was the first to arrive and made sure hair and make up were ready. She literally snapped into place - I heard the buckle of the fanny pack and she was off! Paula was always five steps ahead, reassuring me on timing and where we needed to be next. At the reception it seemed like she was everywhere and unseen at the same time. The day was perfect and I know she is the reason everything ran so smoothly. 10 out of 10 and as my bridesmaids said, if you need anything just ‘call-a Paula’

I don’t think my wedding would’ve been as incredible and flawless as it was, had it not been for Paula. From the moment I started working with Paula, I immediately felt more confident that everything would go as planned. Paula handles everything and more! From reaching out to all our vendors, to creating the perfect timeline, to providing me and my husband with a packing list for the big day, Paula really does it all. She even reached out to and was the point of contact for the person watching our dog during our wedding weekend so we would know he was ok. Not only is Paula completely talented at what she does, but she is so fun to work with. She brought such an amazing energy to the entire process and our wedding day. Paula adds a personal touch to everything and will make anyone who works with her completely calm. It may seem like a small piece, but at the end of the night all of our personal items we brought to the venue for getting ready and for the wedding were packed up in our bags for us to take home. It made us feel so taken care of. And Paula’s reassurance extends far beyond just the bride and groom. All of our family members felt they could truly enjoy the day because Paula was on top of everything. I cannot recommend Paula enough and if you are reading this you should book Paula already!

I cannot imagine planning my wedding without Paula's help. I knew I wanted a coordinator to help me with final details and day-of execution, but Paula went above and beyond in every way. She checked in with us multiple times before the wedding and had a ton of contacts and resources that really helped planning go smoothly. She also was always willing to answer my random wedding questions, which I so so appreciated. Day of she was such a calming and organized presence, we had a big wedding party and she made sure everyone was where they needed to be and on time! I cannot recommend Paula enough :)

The best way to describe Paula is that she’s just fantastic. Even before me and my husband had officially hired her she was kind, patient, and overall so helpful. Here’s a couple of examples of how great she was prior to the wedding -I would reach out to Paula (with questions or her option on something) and she would always get back to me super quickly. There were even a couple of times when it was midnight! -She did a venue walk with us and she asked questions that I wouldn’t even have thought to ask. -Dealt with our event insurance and getting all the right paperwork from our other vendors (thank god because it was a lot!) -Was communication with all our vendors -She made a detailed timeline of our wedding day which awesome -Made suggestions on what would be cheaper - Helped me get through the anxiety before the wedding too During our wedding she was just a superstar. I can definitely say without a doubt that if she wasn’t there then things wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as they did. Examples below. -She kept everyone on track - she met the vendors as they came so she could tell them how I wanted things set up - Her and her sister, Lori, steamed my dress veil, the bridesmaid dresses, and the dressing gown - Shout out to Lori who took photos on my phone the whole day! - She did a bunch of last minute things at the reception hall too like light out candles and put our cake topper in - She even cleaned up the reception hall at the end of the night! (even stored our leftover food). Overall, working with Paula (and Lori later on) was just amazing. Me and my husband talked about it later on and we agreed that what Paula brought to the wedding was worth more than what she actually charged. If you’re looking for someone that is kind, knowledgeable, and cost effective it’s Paula. I HIGHLY recommend her. It’s not even an exaggeration to say that because of her our wedding was truly the best day ever!

Working with Paula was hands down the best decision we made while planning our wedding. From the first time we spoke, I knew Paula would be an asset to have on the wedding day, but everything leading up to the wedding went well beyond any expectations I had. Paula not only recommended vendors when I was having trouble searching, she also read through contracts with us and gave us advice when we asked. Paula's day-of timeline made the wedding day go extremely smoothly, and she was able to tackle any and every issue that popped up. We took dance lessons with Paula, where we went from two left-footed people anxious to dance in front of others to a confident couple who sincerely were able to enjoy their first dance! Aside from all of our praise, I think the thing that shows Paula's character and hard work the most is that every other vendor (and our entire bridal party) told us how wonderful it was to work with Paula. My husband and I have not stopped telling anyone and everyone who tells us that our wedding was fabulous that it was in large part due to Paula. We highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator!

Hiring Paula for our wedding was the best thing we could have done to complete our dream wedding. To tell a little about our wedding, it was very different, to say the least. We decided to throw a 150 person wedding in my cousin’s backyard in Westport, CT. Although the idea sounded so special and easy , we had to start from scratch, with things such as bringing bathroom trailers onto the property, building the archway, designing the layout, and bringing in a caterer. After I was able to tie together this vision, I met Paula. We hired Paula as a wedding “day of” coordinator, but she was always available with advice for the entire year leading up to the wedding. She was by my side the entire time , taking my calls, texts , and many many questions all while having a baby and helping other brides like me! The day of the wedding she came prepared, from start to the finish. Something weird came over me the day of the wedding, that I was having trouble to explain to most of my friends and family that seemed to be confused as I seemed so “calm” after watching my plan a wedding for a year and a half. Paula and many other trusted venders said , relax because we got this. Paula was able to pull together the entire day of our wedding, and orchestrated it perfectly . She was there whenever I needed anything, and even helped wipe off the sweat I had from an outdoor wedding on a 90 degree day. My husband and I are so thankful for Paula , and could not be happier with how perfect our wedding was. We thank her and will recommend her to anyone who asks!

There aren’t enough words to properly describe how much of a blessing it was to have Paula with us on our wedding day! For starters, I am a type A, very well organized, maybe even control freak if you will on everything wedding related. Despite all that, after our first consultation, I knew I needed to have Paula be part of our team. Looking back on it all, no matter how organized or well planned you think you have things, on the day of, you just need the extra set of hands (Paula). She was truly an asset to our wedding! Paula was on top of everything from day one when we first shared all our wedding information. She would always check-in to see where we were, what we needed help with, and always provided us with feedback and triggered our minds on things we had not thought of yet. Paula has a calm demeanor and such a pleasant, positive attitude and energy that is so contagious – you just want to hug her like she is your best friend, and she will be your best friend at the end of your journey together - I miss her everyday! Paula took care of so much for us - some things I did not even know about until after. During our final planning meeting with our venue, the venue coordinator had most of our checklist done as Paula had already done the leg work for us – she had reached out to our vendors to take care of insurance certificates for the venue, ensured arrival and set up times, and created our master timeline! During the week of our wedding, we had a family emergency affecting my mom, who was slotted to walk me down the aisle. Aside from my soon-to-be husband, Paula was the very first person I informed. Without hesitation, Paula took the reigns on everything, allowing me to focus on my mom and getting her to our wedding. I entrusted her with everything the week of and there was not one detail left unnoticed! Paula helped with transportation logistics, venue accessibility for my mom who would be in a wheelchair for the wedding, venue set up with our place cards, you name it – Paula was on it! Day of, Paula was the first to show up for the day and the last vendor I saw before I left for the night and she didn’t stop once! While we were getting ready, Paula facilitated food delivery for both the bride and groom side, steamed all of the bridesmaids dresses, helped with last minute dress adjustments, had everything we needed on hand – scissors, double sided tape, safety pins, kept us all in line with timing, and truly had our backs for every part of the day and night! Paula even took my dress and detail items with her to the venue so my photographer could take the detail shots before my arrival – she is a godsend!!! Aside from managing our wedding and coordinating all its logistics, Paula also choreographed our entrance and first dance - WHAT A SUCCESS and had our guests in awe!!! She was so patient with us in learning our dance and created such a beautiful first dance routine for us, we are forever grateful! Our wedding day could not have gone as smoothly as it did without Paula! Her incredible attention to detail, patience, calmness, organization, and professionalism are the key factors in what makes Paula good and successful at what she does! Without a doubt, Paula will be everything you want, need, and more for your wedding and I cannot recommend her and her services enough for any event!

I truly don’t know where to begin! My brand new husband and I agree that hiring Paula was the best decision and the best money we spent for our wedding. From the moment I first spoke to Paula on the phone she exuded calm, kindness, and professionalism. As a bride that stresses out easily (and coming from a family that also stresses out easily), I knew that Paula’s calming, level-headed energy was exactly what we needed on our wedding day. Throughout the wedding planning process Paula would check in with us and see how everything was going. She let us know that we could always reach out if we had any questions or needed guidance. As we got closer to the wedding day Paula was cc’d on every email between myself and my venue and she helped immensely in figuring out logistics and communication between vendors. She collected all of my vendors’ COIs and sent them to our venue. She confirmed setup, start, and end times with each of our vendors and built a master timeline of our wedding day that kept everyone on track beautifully. Paula was always quick to answer emails and texts and was happy to carve out time for a quick phone call if we needed it. It was such a relief to have Paula take over as our official contact to all of our vendors the week of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Paula and her wonderful assistant Lynn were truly the MVPs of our day. I say this with complete sincerity—our wedding day would not and could not have been the smashing success that it was without Paula and Lynn. They took care of and handled EVERYTHING—vendor contact, keeping us on schedule, holding onto the rings and handing them off to the Best Man before the ceremony, collecting my detail items and handing them off to the photographer for detail shots, handing out our tip envelopes, setting up our DIY decor BEAUTIFULLY and exactly how we requested (including our cake/cupcake table!), running our quick day-of rehearsal, lining everyone up for the ceremony processional and reception intros, packing up all of our personal items and decor after the reception and making it so neat and easy to pick up the next day, plus much much more that I’m sure I’m forgetting/didn’t even witness. Because of them, my husband and I (as well as our families and bridal party) were able to enjoy the party, have fun, and let loose. I am also incredibly grateful to Lynn for taking my phone throughout the day and taking countless photos and videos. I can’t express how wonderful it is to have those beautiful moments captured on my phone so we can revisit the day before getting our professional photos/video. Throughout the whole day, which inevitably included some unexpected stressful moments, never once did Paula or Lynn lose their cool. My family and bridal party adored them and were also very grateful for their organization, leadership, professionalism, and warm positivity. I could go on and on about how amazing Paula is and how responsible she is for giving us the wedding of our dreams. It was truly The Best Day Ever. Needless to say, I cannot recommend Paula enough to any couple seeking a DOC.

Paula and her sister, Lynne, we’re absolutely incredible. I had consulted multiple wedding planners/day-of coordinators and I had the best vibe with Paula and ultimately chose her. She was the BEST thing that could have happened to us and our wedding! From the months leading up to our wedding with our check in phone calls and e-mails, to the rehearsal and entire day of our wedding, everything went completely smooth because Paula was in the picture. Her calming demeanor was exactly I wanted for my wedding day and she made me feel completely at ease. She knows exactly what she is doing and handles every situation thrown at her with ease and grace. Leading up to the wedding and on the actual wedding day, she had a lot of advice and expertise to share that I very much appreciated. I also had a handful of family and friends comment on her performance and also gave her contact info to a few girls who are getting married within the next year. My fiancé and I can’t thank her and Lynne enough!

Our wedding venue (Le Chateau) recommended Paula to me and I'm so glad they did! Paula made the wedding planning process 100x easier and her calm demeanor helped us stay calm too. The timeline was absolutely key and I'd have had no idea to where to start if I tried to do it on my own. In the couple of weeks before the wedding, Paula really took over and worked with vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Unfortunately, Paula came down with Covid a couple of days before the wedding so she was not able to attend but that didn't stop her from making sure we had the wedding we envisioned (after offering an overly generous refund). Despite feeling under the weather, she got right on the phone with me and my sisters 2 days before the wedding to run through absolutely ever detail and all of her cheat sheets she'd prepared to set us up for success. Even though she was cooped up at home, she was absolutely working. The night before she was still thinking of details that I wouldn't like phoning the hotel's front desk to ask them to drop off tall stools for hair and make up in the morning. Day of, she was right there with us (virtually), in constant contact with all of the vendors and my sisters making sure everything was going smoothly. We could not have done it without Paula! So, do yourself a favor and book Paula for The Best Day Ever!

We were so pleased to have Paula as our Wedding Coordinator and she went way above and beyond our expectations. She is so lovely to work with and we truly cannot imagine how our event would have gone without her there! Before the event she helped us make sure that all of our vendors and venue had one aligned on timeline and gave us helpful reminders throughout the planning process. On the day of, she was then the first one on site and made sure we stayed on timeline and everything went smoothly. There truly was not one hitch throughout the entire day! My husband and I could just relax and enjoy the day. On top of the timeline management, she was quick with any last minute emergency needs. She fixed a bridesmaid's dress, lengthened a groomsman's pants, and helped me pin up my after party dress. All things that without her would have just had to be less than perfect. She also made sure all of our personal belongings got to where they needed to be at the end of the night so we truly had nothing to worry about. We are so incredibly grateful to have found Paula (The Best Day Ever Events). Paula has been amazing and a wonderful person who helped make our wedding day fantastic. She is extremely patient and organized. She took the time to get to know us as a couple even prior to booking, and had a detailed and organized timeline of the weeks leading up to the wedding. She is incredibly experienced and had answers for any big/small questions that you could possibly think of regarding wedding planning. We were one of the many couples who unfortunately had to postpone due to the pandemic, and Paula was there for us, guiding us every step of the way, providing tips, advice, and reassurance. Paula has gone above and beyond to ensure all the details on the day-of is exactly what we wanted. There are so many things, including coordinating with multiple vendors and parties, seating/decoration arrangements, planning ahead that go into making sure the day-of goes smoothly, and frankly, we wouldn't have pulled it off without Paula. If there is one advice we will give to any couples in the planning process, it will be to find someone as amazing as Paula to help make your dream day come true!

Paula is AMAZING. She is a huge reason why we were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding. Throughout the day, if I started to stress or get overwhelmed, I could just take a look at her and know everything would be better. In the months before the wedding, Paula diligently prepared a detailed schedule, communicated with our vendors, and consistently checked in on how we were doing leading up to the day. On the day of, she made sure we all stayed on schedule, worked with all the vendors, put on my veil, touched up my makeup, and even gave me some last-minute pointers on our first dance. In short, she enabled us to have the best day ever (just as her business name suggests!). Seriously, there is nothing that this woman can’t do! She will be the single best decision of your wedding planning process if you hire her.

Paula was amazing! The day wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without her. She went above and beyond, stepping in where other vendors were falling short, so we would have the best day ever. Paula is outstanding and out of everything, hiring Paula was the best decision we made! She made everything run smoothly, my husband and I were so relaxed and able to enjoy everything on our wedding day stress free! Paula took care of everything! One of my bridesmaids was not able to get her dress altered and Paula sewed the straps to make the dress fit perfect. One of the groomsmen pants ripped right before the ceremony, and Paula was able to fix them! Any Brides reading this, if you are on the fence about hiring a Day of Coordinator, do not second guess it! Even if your venue provides you a Maître D and coordinator, you need someone that is solely focused on you and your husband! She handles paying all the vendors at the end of the night and all the packing up. I had the best wedding ever, and I credit that to Paula!!!

Our wedding day would not have been what it was without Paula. Throughout the entire day, family, friends and our other vendors expressed what an absolute joy it is working with her. She works above and beyond as a day of coordinator. For instance, she even FaceTimed the bus mechanic to get the AC running on our party bus after our driver said he couldn’t figure it out. Paula is incredibly attentive and responsive. Words don’t do justice. I cannot recommend her enough. Easily the best money we spent!!!

We hired Paula last minute as our day of coordinator about a month before our wedding and couldn’t imagine having gone through the day without her. She was incredibly organized and friendly and kept the whole day in check - including our 24 person bridal party. If there were any issues we didn’t hear about it because she took care of everything. I honestly don't know where to begin to talk about how amazing it was to have Paula's help with coordinating my wedding. From our very first consultation/planning phone call, I could tell that she was an incredibly genuine person who wanted to make sure that my special day was truly the best day ever. After our first wedding was cancelled due to COVID and we had to find and book a new venue, I decided to look into a Day of Coordinator. Right from the start, Paula was professional and has a calming demeanor that I immediately knew was what I needed for our big day. We can't say enough about Paula. I was on the fence about hiring a DOC, but as soon as we met Paula there was no question! As a bride who has had to plan and re-plan a wedding due to COVID, Paula has been amazing to work with! Literally, The Best Day Ever ! Meeting Paula was a blessing in disguise. Newly engaged and attending barre, found out she was not only putting me on the path to start “sweating for the wedding” but she was also a day of coordinator. It couldn’t have worked out any better ! From barre instructor to day of coordinator to friend. Paula helped my husband and I along the way with almost everything. She literally put my mind at ease with the prep for the big day. Most of my friends told me I was such a “chill bride” and I like to thank Paula for keeping me at bay for the entire process. Where to begin!? When I started a new role at work this spring I realized as much as I thought I could do it all during the final months of planning , I needed help. Enter Paula to save the day! ( first of many saves)! Our initial meeting was great and I immediately could see how professional, personable, and organized Paula was. Booking her was an easy decision. In addition to her overall coordination, she kept our large wedding party of 16 in line , printed me new place cards last minute when we had a family emergency cause a table switch-up, sewed my sisters/MOH dress when the belt was coming undone and kept me laughing and happy the entire day. Day of Coordinator Paula was amazing and played an instrumental role in making my wedding perfect. I originally was not going to hire a day of coordinator and had planned to do everything on my own. I quickly realized that I would not be able to do that and still enjoy the day and came across Paula online. Immediately after our initial phone conversation, I knew that I wanted her to be there for me on my wedding day. Although she describes herself as a "day of coordinator", in reality, she provides so much more. She began helping me with planning immediately after I hired her and was always there for me in the months leading up to the wedding. She really helped me with every step leading up to our big day. She spoke with every vendor directly, making sure we had all the necessary information. On the actual wedding day, to say she ran the show would be an understatement. She was the first one there and stayed until the very end, working with the vendors and making sure the wedding was perfect. We had a few last-minute issues that needed to be resolved and she came up with great solutions. On top of all of this, she is a kind and warm person and was such a comfort to be around.
