The Big White Barn

Beautiful place! This was the perfect size place for a 250 guest list. Beautiful place for sunset photos. Large inside area for seating and also a large outside deck for additional seating or partying. The bridal suite is stunning! The only thing I would say would be nice is if the grooms suite was a little bigger. My husband had 6 groomsmen, so 7 total people and it was quite congested in there. But if you have a smaller party no big deal. I had 5 total bridesmaids, so 6 total with me, and then also my mother and mother in-law and the bridal suite was plenty big enough.

We fell in love with this venue from the first time that we saw it. The venue was everything that we had been looking for. We loved that they had add ons that made it very easy to get everything we were looking for on our wedding day. The only thing that we struggled with during the process was the communication not always being timely and sometimes not hearing back at all. Other than that it is an amazing venue and all of the staff is very friendly.

Not only is this venue absolutely beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful from the first day we went and toured. The BWB group would answer a late night question and keep the communication line open—not a lot of places do that. We had a few technical issues day of, but they were resolved quickly and made for a perfect wedding day.

We got married there on November 9th and it couldn't have been more perfect! The barn and ourdoor areas were perfect for our wedding. The owners also were extremely helpful and answered any questions or concerns I might have had leading up to it, and even on the day of.

The team at BWB were amazing. Our group was large, but the layout of the barn was perfect. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, accommodating and always had a smile which when dealing with that many people can be challenging. The views were stunning and the event would not have been the success it was anywhere else.

They were super helpful and flexible! They made the whole process super easy!

We loved using The Big White Barn as our wedding venue! Faith was always very responsive to texts/emails during our wedding planning process, which was so helpful. We also loved that we were able to include a variety of wedding details with our package (ex: linens, setup, arch, day of coordinator, extra time at the venue, etc.). We also took advantage of the open house option, which helped during the planning process. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue that suited us! We would recommend The Big White Barn to anyone!

The Big White Barn was my dream venue! It’s absolutely gorgeous, close to town (and hotels), and has amazing staff willing to work with your needs. It’s very well-kept, organized, has a great layout, and comes with great vendor recommendations! Absolutely recommend.

My husband and I got married in January at the Big White Barn and were blown away at what an amazing venue it was. It was beautiful, big, and had lots of options for ceremony and reception locations. The BWB was flexible with our specific requests and even gave us advice on reasonably priced vendors in the area to check out. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a beautiful, stress free wedding day!

Dream venue on a beautiful piece of property! Had the barn wedding I've always dreamed of. Amanda was helpful as we were planning our wedding from another state. We did video chats and sent lots of emails but she was always responsive and kind. They were helpful in pointing us in the right direction with vendors as we weren't familiar with the area. Highly recommend!

The Big White Barn was a fantastic venue to host our daughter’s Sweet 16 Party! Excellent location with plenty of room for dancing, dining, and socializing. We were able to utilize the sound system, large kitchen, changing rooms. The upstairs ’bridal’ room is gorgeous. There’s also lots of outside area with a great view to hold a ceremony, dancing, outdoor games, etc. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely use this venue again.

The Big White Barn was simply amazing and so easy to work with. They were accommodating when i had to move my wedding due to Covid and everything worked out perfectly. Their vender recommendations were spot on too! We found the most amazing wedding photographer from them and she has now turned into our friend.

This is an amazing venue with wonderful views and a great staff!! I loved this place from the moment I saw it. I would get married here over and over such an amazing place!! The cedar barn smells like an enchanted forest and the bridal suite is too die for.

This Venue was absolutely perfect! They had everything we needed. The bridal suite was nice with plenty of space, it had great air conditioning and full bathroom. I was very impressed!

I LOVED having my wedding here. It was absolutely stunning! And I REALLY loved how beautiful it was on the inside too. It happened to rain on my wedding day but moving the ceremony inside wasn’t totally heart crushing like it could’ve been because of how gorgeous the inside is. The ONLY thing I didn’t love was the fact that we didn’t get to have a rehearsal on the day before. They said they typically do them on the morning of. Which probably works out for most people since a lot of people get ready AT the venue site anyway. But my bridal party and myself were trying to save money so we got ready in Fort Worth where we live so we wouldn’t have to pay travel fees for our makeup and hair ladies to come to us. And with the BWB being a 50 minute drive from from where we live, it just made more sense not to go in the morning to have to come all the way back to get ready then go back again. Anyway, even with that one small thing I didn’t like, I have absolutely ZERO regrets choosing this GORGEOUS venue. Faith is also super nice and helpful throughout the entire process which helps alleviate some of the stress that comes with planning a wedding, especially planning one in under 6 months ;)

Such a BEAUTIFUL venue!!! Faith was extremely accommodating!! She was so quick to answer any questions I had, be it email, phone call, or text... She was flexible on payments and SO easy to work with!! I honestly feel like she did everything in her power to help make my day PERFECT! We were allowed to have our horses and dogs participate in our ceremony, which was a big deal for us since they are such a huge part of our lives. Just overall a FANTASTIC venue that is ran by a FANTASTIC woman who truly cares about about her customers! It doesn't just stop at getting the venue... She can recommend you to just about any vendor you may want or need! This venue was just the right choice in every way imaginable! No need to look any further after you look at The Big White Barn!!

This beautiful venue is perfect for your weddings or other occasion celebrations! I have been there several times and had the honor of building the venue originally. You could not ask for more caring, joyous and lovely people to be involved with on your big day. I wholeheartedly would recommend this beautiful, serene barn venue!

The Big White Barn staff has been amazing in working with us. Originally, we booked them for our daughter’s formal wedding in 2017. Her husband is in the Army so they got married at the JP. Last minute training meant we had to reschedule the formal wedding. Then they got pregnant with a honeymoon baby. We ultimately had to postpone indefinitely. BWB allowed us up to two years to use the venue and retained our initial deposit. Faith has been amazing and so understanding! Our 25th anniversary is this December, so we decided to have a vow renewal and the reception we never got to have. We are so excited! The BWB staff are knowledgeable and know vendors who will fit our budget. The bridal suite is gorgeous! There’s a full bath and three or four vanities for getting ready. They also have an adorable playscape for kids as well as a gas fire pit. The outdoor pavilion is spacious, covered, and well-lit. I can’t wait to renew our vows here!

I’m getting married in October, and the staff here have been nothing short of amazing so far! Stephany was the first one I spoke with, and she has been so SO helpful. She was able to help me schedule a tour of the venue so it worked with my schedule (I live over an hour away and work late during the week), and she worked with my budget so that we could have our wedding here. I instantly fell in love with everything about this place when I saw it, and the hospitality they’ve shown us each and every time we’ve needed something has been top notch. I highly recommend this venue if you’re looking for that rustic country venue with a vintage charm (the bridal suite is ADORABLE!).

Beautiful venue! Very rustic and simplistic feel and look. Reception hall is big and spacious with high ceilings. The bridal suite is cute and vintage. Wedding was supposed to be outside but the weather hindered that and moving it indoors was not a problem with all the room, even with 175 people. Loved every bit of it!

The professionalism of the team was a pleasure to have be apart of my big day. The venue has so much to offer to fit any style bride.

The Big White Barn was the DREAM venue for me and my husband. They did not hold us down to specific catering but allowed us to bring in what we wanted to have. It started to rain right when the ceremony was about to start and the covered patio allowed us to get married in the rain. The management is incredibly helpful and we wouldn’t have wanted another venue for our day! We were so very pleased with it.

This is a very beautiful venue. It’s out in the country away from the city lights and it creates a very romantic feeling which produces beautiful pictures of not only the bridal couple but of the whole event. Lots of room for dancing and for enjoying the food & entertainment..and the staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful in creating a tremendous environment! The big white barn was the only venue my now husband & I looked at, & we fell in love instantly!! We had almost 200 guests, & we still had a large dance floor & never felt crammed!! We had our ceremony outdoors backed up to the pond & it was quiet & peaceful. We were so excited about the covered patio as well to set up games & even serve our food from there. The kiddos LOVED the mini barn playground! Such a great venue!

Great venue and price. Didn't like that there was a lady there before the wedding was over harassing the family to get out and trying to take our wedding decorations.

We attended a wedding at this location Saturday, and it was perfection! The entire day was the bride and grooms to set up and decorate any way they wanted (ok I decorated she got her nails done). I love that it was able to be so custom though! There were not ten thousand crazy rules about food, alcohol, and decorations! Which SO many places have. There were over 150 people and there was still room for more. The venue is beautiful and complete with a porch that has views that are to die for. I wish there were rockers for that porch!Personally my kids loved the mini barn playscape out back and having that there kept them busy and out of our hair. Anyway this is a huge and beautiful place with lovely owners. They were beyond helpful before during and after my BFF's wedding! I wish this place was around when I got married!! They are SO laid back and made the day SO easy for her and the bridal party and heck the whole family on both sides too! Thank you very much!!!!!!!! We wish you big success! You are doing everything right.

This venue is AMAZING!! It was just built but it looks like it totally belongs! It is EXACTLY what we wanted!! It is perfectly beautiful and it has AIR - CONDITIONING!!!! The bride room is beyond georgous! The views are breathtaking.... I could go on and on!! After talking with them for several months, knowing they have had a few weddings already (we even attended one and it was flawless) and watching SO many dates get booked all around our date, we finally booked it!! We got out dream date!! I am SO excited to become Mrs Nance at The Big White Barn on a SATURDAY for an AFFORDABLE PRICE!!! Did I mention how EXCITED I AM!! Thank you to the BWB staff for making this experience easy and so much fun! I can't wait to have my bridal picture done there in a few weeks. Thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart thank you.

I wrote a review here stating "They might be ok in a few years. The disorganization and lack of integrity is a deal breaker right now." I received an email stating that I need to expand upon that because it is too "generalized", so here's my experience start to finish; I toured this venue in July after already touring a number of other venues. I received an information packet including a pricing breakdown, which I was told would be effective until January 1st. I enjoyed everything about the venue save for two things; Myself, my mother, and my fiancé all agreed that the owner, Cathy, left a bad taste in our mouths, and there were some landscaping issues that they assured us they were addressing. All the same, I was pretty sure I had found my wedding venue. I decided to wait and tour it one more time in the winter, to get a better feel of what the landscape would look like finished, and in the season our wedding would be in. When my fiancé and I went to a public event that they held mid-October, the landscaping issues had still not been addressed. I decided they had probably just run into some hiccups, and it would be beautiful by the time we got married. Then last week I received an email from their new office manager, with a price sheet attached. They DOUBLED their prices, completely restructured their packages, and said that rates would be going up again December 1st. I emailed the office manager stating my disappointment, and she emailed back saying they would honor the original price they gave me until December 1st. I respected that, but was still a little hesitant due to their apparent disorganization and irresoluteness, and the fact that I was originally told I had until January to make a decision. One month might not sound like a big deal, but it's mid-November now, and it is BARELY starting to look like Fall outside. We're having an outdoor winter wedding. It could look like a completely different place come December, and I want to know what my ceremony will look like. But that's a relatively small point. While I was mulling over whether or not to stick with this venue, the owner, Cathy called my personal number (which I'm still not sure how she got) about the aforementioned review I wrote. I told her I would be happy to discuss it with her, but I couldn't speak at that moment, and we would have to talk later. She became very rude and continued to try to push me into talking with her right then. After this I dreaded talking to her, but I called her back the next day to honor my word. She hung up on me as soon as I gave my name. I run a business too. I know it's no fun to get negative reviews, but it is part of it. It's great to try to make things right when you can, but it is unprofessional and unacceptable to try to bully someone into revoking their opinion. The Big White Barn is a neat venue, but the owners are clearly inexperienced and unprofessional. I am so grateful this all happened before I put down my deposit. I will definitely be looking elsewhere, and would fair warn anyone considering this venue to be very very leery.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Big White Barn. The property is so beautiful and the location is great. The barn itself is stunning, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The bridal suite is gorgeous and the groom’s room has games and a dart board to keep the guys busy while they wait. Frank and Cathy were so helpful, professional, and genuinely interested in making the day special and easy for the bride. The BWB is family friendly, which is exactly what we wanted. The playground was fun and super cute, the kids loved it! The fire pit and lawn games were great for a relaxed and fun wedding; we set up a s’mores bar which was really popular. We had the ceremony outside overlooking the pond and the reception inside the barn. We’re so happy with how everything turned out, it was absolutely perfect! We highly recommend the BWB to anyone looking for a great wedding venue or for any other occasion.
