I am giving exactly 1 negative review to all of our wedding vendors, and it is to the Black Tux. They were the absolute worst decision of our entire wedding process. If you are considering Black Tux, I encourage you to read this entire review. ...I am definitely not the only bride that had this experience, and they have *conveniently* deleted all of their social media posts from April - September, because they were full of negative reviews like mine. Please make an informed decision on this fraudulent company!
We chose them because of good customer reviews in the past, accommodating options and pricing, and a good try on process. Please, do not be swooned by all of this like we were. They clearly know how to bait a customer, receive your payment, and then have no regard for providing their services that they promised. We placed orders well in advance, followed all instructions, and were promised the ordered garments 2 weeks before the wedding. They did not have appropriate attire for much of our bridal party; including the groom. Not having it is one thing.. But there were no updates, no communication, NOTHING. The website literally never changed - it said ‘guaranteed delivery’ on a date that was days in the past. The communication with customer service was near impossible. They literally removed their phone number, did not have any live chat options, and emails were only answered weeks later. After much effort, I found a phone number, and waited on hold for a total of 9 hours, to be told that 4 of the 10 suits were out of stock and the sizing requested would not be available. To be clear, I was told this the week of my wedding. They also have stipulations of what alterations can be performed, even if the suit they send is multiple sizes too big since it is ‘all they have.’ I truly believe that those 4 suits would have never been addressed or sent if I didn’t put in all the effort of calling. I, and each of the affected bridal party members, sent multiple emails (which was the only publicly listed mode of communication) and they all went unanswered until too late. I could go on and on, but I hope you have gotten the point that this was our biggest regret and our biggest stressor of wedding planning. Please, for your own sanity, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
