Lee spoke with me personally on the phone a few weeks prior to the date and reviewed everything with me to ensure my son would be safe and we had everything lined up for our party. It meant so much to us to actually have contact with Lee and he is such a great guy! We were at ease when we seen our memorial flowers for those who couldn't be with us that day but were watching down on us. Everything was done to perfection which made it even more memorable.

My husband and I know that we couldn't have made a better decision than the one we made to get married at The Blennerhassett. If you're looking for a wedding venue....this is it!!! And make sure you get the short ribs...because OMG!!! AMAZING!!!! Emily- You are seriously one of the best people I've had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for making the last 11 months easy and fun!!! I'm not going to know what to do without our weekly phone calls. You are an angel for making brides dreams come to reality and making their wedding planning stress free! You and Jamie are a dream team! Thank you Blennerhassett for a magical weekend! t. We could not have asked for a better venue. The best part is everything was pretty affordable and the hotel wedding planner worked with us to make it just the way we wanted it. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a top-notch venue.

ial place for us. Emily Davenport is amazing!!! She is so helpful, so friendly and, even when I was stressed about the details, she handled everything perfectly. I could not have asked for a better team than Emily and Rachel. Everything from the tasting appointment, the tour of the event spaces, everything was done with such professionalism and kindness. Never once did I feel like nothing was being taken care of. Our ceremony was in the tent right off the patio and it was beautiful! Nice, air conditioned and it made us feel like we were outside but still kept cool on a hot day! We were able to decorate it to add some color and it was amazing (though it would have been great just the way it is now). The ballroom-unbelievable! I love the space and it allowed us to entertain our guests and no one ever felt crowded or like they had to move. The food was delicious and every single plate had the same immaculate attention paid to it. Our guests loved every bite, as they all made it a point to tell me how good it was. We stayed in the 2-floor executive suite and it was clean, well taken care of and absolutely beautiful. I really can't say enough about the staff of this hotel. They all went above and beyond to make sure our weekend was perfect. My husband and I have stayed here previously and the same kindness was paid to us then so it's evident that staff members love what they do and love being a part of their guests' special events. We really didn't set a specific budget so I can't say much about the price of everything but I'm so glad we chose the Blennerhassett for our wedding and reception as they relieved much of our stress and took care of everything so we wouldn't have to scramble on our wedding weekend to finish it ourselves. First class service! We will definitely be back!

e a tour when we showed up unannounced on a Tuesday afternoon. The best thing about the Blennerhassett as a venue is how affordable it is. I was blown away by how cheap the prices were - until I went on the tour. The ceremony site is an outside tent that looks tacky and smells awful. The ballroom smells just as terrible, and the decor is nothing to write home about for a historic hotel that's supposed to be steeped in tradition. The suites are beautiful, though, so I'd gladly stay a night at the Blennerhassett, just wouldn't have a wedding there.

ng a wedding in WV was difficult but Emily and the rest of the staff at the Blennerhassett made it much simpler. If you are looking for a venue for both your ceremony and reception (or for just your reception) this is the place. You will actually get to relax on your wedding day because you will know that it is all under control. Also, be sure to enjoy the food during your reception because it is DELICIOUS!!!

e reception. The Hotel is so beautiful and perfect place for picutres. The staff was extremely helpful- we barely had to lift a finger. They let us dance and party in the ballroom up until midnight. My husband and I stayed the night in the hotel that night and our room was gorgeous. Overall, we couldn't of asked for a more perfect wedding. The only downfall is it is a little pricey but probably well worth it.

just phenomenal. I highly recommend staying here, even just for a weekend away.
