LONG REVIEW:
I had my date of service on 11/14/20. I had booked an on location service for my wedding day. I booked months ahead of time and even paid for my service on 9/25/20. I was told that the consultants would be onsite beginning at 12:3...0. I had booked hair and make up for myself, my MOH, my mom, and one of my bridesmaids. I got a message the morning of letting me know that one of the consultants had been sick all week and would not be able to attend, however they had a back-up that could be there at 2. I was fine with this because I thought that one of the people would still be there at 12:30 to get us started (based on her message that was the impression I had received). We waited at the venue for someone to show up, I gave them a little time before calling the owner, Erika, to find out where the first person was (approx. 1pm). I left a voicemail and did not hear back. Finally at 2, my MOH called and was able to get ahold of Erika, who said that the people had left 15 minutes ago and should be there any minute. We then gave them until 2:20 before calling again. My MOH then called again and was given the excuse that there was an accident and they should be there soon, all the while giving my MOH attitude because we were calling. We again waited another 15 minutes. One of my bridesmaids then called her and she was told "look they should be there soon. We had a bridal party that was late so it's not really in our control". No apologies for them being extremely late, just attitude because we were wondering where they were. Finally the hair person showed up at 2:47. She immediately got started on my hair. The make up person showed up 10 minutes later. She got started on one of my bridesmaids. One of my bridesmaids was completely ready because she decided to save some money and do her own hair and make up, thank God she did because she was able to do my moms hair and make up. One of my bridesmaids pre-curled her hair because we weren't sure she would get her hair done due to time. When the ladies showed up, they did not apologize for being late or even mention it. The owner showed up about 20 minutes later and did not apologize to me or anyone else about being late. She sent a text to my MOH saying that their services would be free. However, I had already paid for mine. I never received a refund. I am disappointed that we never received an apology and I still paid $150 for a service that was then rushed and not everyone even got to have their hair or make up done.
Now, the ladies did a great job with the time they had. This review is not to discredit their skills. What I want to get across is that due to them being extremely late, my already small wedding due to COVID was extremely rushed and I didn't get HALF of the pictures I was hoping for. My photographer had been at the venue beginning at 1pm to start getting pictures of us getting ready and that was then rushed at the end. My first look was rushed. My wedding was outside and we were losing daylight. My photographer had to rush to get at least some pictures of the bridal party together. I haven't received my pictures back yet, I know that she did get some good pictures, however the day that was supposed to be the most photographed day of my life will be lacking pictures because the ladies were unbelievably late.
