woodwork are that are still intact from the original church. Our vision for the venue was something unique and beautiful, but not outdoors. The Bluestone absolutely delivered. Because we had a summer wedding, we knew that we would probably be dealing with extreme heat or rain, so an indoor cocktail hour option was important to us. And the Bluestone delivered! Their indoor cocktail space option has floor to ceiling, original stained glass that offers a gorgeous backdrop for friends and family to mingle and take pictures before the reception starts. We had toured a few other places by the time we got to the Bluestone, and were extremely impressed by how professional and easy to work with the staff seemed up front. They had this attitude and work ethic through the entirety of our wedding planning. Including the week and day of! Any questions or last minute visits were able to be answered and accommodated, and everything on the big day went so smoothly. The communication was clear, the staff didn't wear any stress on their sleeve, and we felt extremely taken care of. We also didn't realize how lucky we would be to have an "all-inclusive" venue like the Bluestone, but that was the final attribute that really sold us on the space. We didn't have to juggle a million vendors or try and keep a ton of people in the loop, and the person you work with at The Bluestone ends up being your day of coordinator. Again, no stress on our wedding day was HUGE!! The food was phenomenal as well, with a ton of options, substantial portion sizes, and great flavor. Us and our guests were more than satisfied, and we were able to focus on boogie-ing the rest of the night. We can't say enough positive things about The Bluestone - if we had to do it over again we would do it exactly the same. The sound system was amazing during the reception (since it's a concert venue, obviously), the space is beautiful, the staff are down to earth and helpful, and prices were really fair compared to some other Columbus venues. 15/10!!

She helped us immensely throughout the process and was a very calming and supportive presence on the day of, which was very nice. The staff also took great care of us throughout the day and were so helpful anytime we needed some help with anything. All of the menu options that we chose were so, so tasty. Lastly, the venue is absolutely gorgeous and has amazing vibes. The venue and staff helped make our day an amazing one and we couldn’t ask for a better place to celebrate our wedding.

planning steps. Once vaccines became readily available, we started the planning process again with Kayla. Throughout our experience, all of the staff we interacted with at The Bluestone were professional, making the experience seamless. The venue was once a Baptist church, with lends to its character. Wood floors in the main room made a perfect dance floor with the light through the stained glass windows during golden hour, adding to the ambiance of our event. The Bluestone is a one-stop venue. The food was fantastic, the bar fully stocked, and the staff, I cannot convey how great the staff was. The price point was also perfect for what we were looking for. If you are looking for a stellar wedding venue that you and your guests would enjoy for any event, look no further than The Bluestone.

2021. They did not charge us anything additional, Kayla, their amazing wedding coordinator, was super communicative the whole time and the day was set up and planned as if we never moved it. The attention to detail and care they had for us and our guests was so apparent in everything that was set up, the timing of the schedule of the day and clean up and storage of all of our belongings and decor afterwards. The venue is beautiful and the staff, shout out specifically to Kayla, is amazing! I would definitely book my wedding here over and over again! 10/10 recommend :)

stage too. The day of coordinator Sarah was amazing and so helpful. The Bluestone was a perfect place to get married because you can have both the ceremony and reception there. They flip the room in between for you, while guests enjoy the beautiful cocktail room or the patio. The price was so great for a place of this size and for the amount of add-ons you get. They are very organized and communicated well during planning. We loved the food and the way they set everything up for us! Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue! We only had one small problem with them right at the end of the wedding. We had been told that we could pick up our decorations the next day, but at the end of the night, the staff made us take everything with us. It was an unfortunate communication error, but what really put a damper on our night was how rude the clean up staff was to us on our way out. They were throwing our decorations in boxes very haphazardly, touching our personal items like clothes and purses (not part of their job) and basically pushing us out the door, well before our allotted time was up. I also didn't appreciate them bothering me - the bride - with a bunch of questions as I was trying to leave for my honeymoon. An unfortunate way to end the night, when everything else up to that point was so great working with the Bluestone. Just make sure there is an end of the night plan with them. I would still highly recommend this venue though.

The food was fantastic, the drinks were plentiful, and the service from the bartenders and waiters/waitresses was great as well. We received so many compliments on the space itself and the service. There was a huge thunder storm on our wedding day and the entire staff waited outside to make sure the bridal party made it into the venue as dry as possible. They also helped clean up afterwards which helped my family a lot. The food was delicious and the minor changes we made at our tasting were carried through the day of. Sarah and her staff made the planning process so easy and took care of everything on the day of. The reception was exactly as I had hoped for and then some. I would recommend this venue 100 times over. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I can't say enough about this venue...it was THE BEST.

, the price point was reasonable for a downtown summer wedding and we loved not having to share our venue with other couples. All of our other vendors also loved working at the Bluestone. Our wedding day was perfect and we highly recommend this venue!!!

one is for you. We started planning our wedding from a few states away, and the Bluestone staff, Jess in particular, made this ridiculously easy. When we were initially looking at venues, they were upfront about costs and sent several proposals with different scenarios. After we booked with them, Jess checked in with us regularly via email, and it was always easy to contact them by phone. They were always ready to arrange a visit to the venue when we happened to be in town. Jess helped us think through our wedding day and handled our stress like the pro she is. She had or found answers for every question or concern we expressed. On the day of, Jess and the rest of the Bluestone staff were just incredible; we really can’t thank them enough or do their work justice. They were friendly, professional, and knew exactly what needed to be done. Switching the sanctuary from the ceremony to the reception space was smooth and fast, and their food service was spectacular. Debbie and the rest of the wait staff were attentive, and the venue was flexible in terms of stocking the bar with some of our favorites at no additional cost. Let’s talk about clean-up. They handle everything. We left when we were ready and came back ready to corral and pack up our supplies. When we got there we discovered that the staff had already packed everything for us – even more carefully than we had done. We put it in our car and away we went! Jess and the Bluestone staff are consummate professionals who genuinely care about you and making your vision a success. Have a lack of vision or don’t know where to start? Not to worry, they have that covered too. You cannot go wrong having your wedding and reception at the Bluestone.

1. I'm not a huge wedding person, so I didn't care about a lot of the responsibilities the bride has in wedding planning, which of course can be an issue during the planning process lol. I basically gave the bluestone random arrangements and items for the centerpieces and other decor and said "do whatever you want with this, It doesn't matter to me as long as it looks decent." And so they did, without any hesitation, and they made the venue look incredible! Everyone kept saying how beautiful it was! 2. Unfortunately, we needed security for our wedding because we were anticipating crashers (historically violent and malicious estranged family). Thankfully, the Bluestone comes with a security guard! Their security officer was AWESOME. We did, in fact, end up having one of the suspected people try to crash the wedding, but no one ever knew it happened, and I didn't even know until the night was over, because he caught and removed the immediately. When she was kicked out, she tried to call the cops to crash the reception, but security met them at the front door and explained to them that the person who called was an unwelcomed guest. So no one knew the police showed up either! Flawless work by the security guard on thwarting the problem! 3. They let us bring all of our items to the rehearsal the night before and leave them there. One of these items was a 300 pound arch made of railroad ties, that they let my dad in early so he could build it on the stage. All of these items were able to be left over night to pick up the following monday as well. 4. They told us they could have someone there to let us in as early as needed. There were at least 2 people that were in sight ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT for anything we needed. They didn't hover, but they were always nearby so you could always find them when you needed them, and we were never without a drink! 5. They asked what we wanted waiting for us the morning of while we got ready. All I asked for was coffee, but we showed up and found we had hot coffee ready to go, bottled water, various types of soda's (off the top of my head I remember coke, diet coke, sprite), orange juice, and champagne for mimosas. They also supplied cups, ice, and champagne flutes for the drinks! 6. I asked for a signature drink a week before the wedding, and they happily obliged, and even went out and bought all the additional items needed to make the drink itself. 7. THE FOOD! The apps are all awesome (we had none left over!), but so was dinner! We were so happy to find it tasted good because we're so used to going to weddings with dried meat and bland dishes. Their chef is great! 8. The coordinator! Jess is honestly a great coordinator, but also just a great person as well. When I had to have the embarrassing talk of the "unwanted guests", she was so caring and worked diligently to show me that they would do all they could to keep them from ruining our night, and she followed through! She locked all the doors from the outside except for one so no one could sneak in through the back, locked our cards/gifts away in her office so no one could steal them, and helped keep an eye out! She also did so well with helping me make choices for all the things I wasn't sure of or needed. She's the best! We are so happy we chose The Bluestone!

e with the rehearsal to being a saving grace on my wedding day...she is LITERALLY the BEST! When I say the Bluestone does EVERYTHING, they do more than that! And this is just the AMAZING team. The venue itself is naturally GORGEGOUS and HUGE! On top of all of that, they have a great wedding suite that my entire wedding party got ready in, while the boys were downstairs getting ready. We had our ceremony inside, we used the outdoor patio for cocktail hour and they had 2 bars so no one ever went thirsty. They even had an upstairs inside area we could have used for cocktail hour if the weather did not cooperate, knowing this kept me very calm days leading up to the wedding. If i can add anything else, the food was great and the service was amazing. Debbie made sure myself, husband and bridal party never went thirsty. She partied with us but always with a drink in hand for someone!!! I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and their team!

found in the Columbus-area, the venue is made by its gorgeous ambiance, spacious rooms, and spectacular staff. One of the biggest hidden gems of The Bluestine is Sarah Downs, one of the bridal coordinators. She was such a joy to work with and made the planning process and day-of go seamlessly. I could not recommend this venue any higher for a bride looking in the Columbus area.

Not only did every one of our guests have a view, but the sound quality is amazing since they have concert-quality speakers hanging above the stage. We have been to so many weddings where we weren’t able to see the first dance or hear the toasts, but The Bluestone puts all those worries to bed. It was easy for the DJ to hook up to the sound system and actually saved us some money since the DJ didn’t have to transport his own speakers. We worked with Sarah and she was the best wedding coordinator we could have asked for. You could tell she was extremely experienced and knew exactly what she was doing, from our first meeting with her to days after the wedding. She joined us for rehearsal the night before, was active in communication with us, our DJ, our photographer, and anyone else who had questions. We are so thankful for her and Carin! Our only complaint were two bartenders that were fairly rude to our guests. We had several people complain about the same two bartenders. The food was phenomenal…all of our guests raved about how great the hors d'oeuvres and dinner were. Overall, we are so happy we had our wedding at The Bluestone and would love if we could replay it one more time!

ur year and a half planning process. (Yes, you must book this far ahead if you are doing a summer wedding on a Saturday!) Sarah answered all my questions and replied to every email. On the day of the wedding the staff there took great care of us! We were never without a drink in our hands and they even put the appetizers from cocktail hour in our room since we were taking photos during that time! The staff set up the reception exactly how I wanted without me providing a picture. They are very experienced and know how to make it look good! You have to use their in house caterer and that was fine by me! Everyone raved over the great food! After the wedding, they tear everything down for you and pack it up in your car. Now that's service! Thank you for making my wedding absolutely flawless!

Sarah is a sweetheart and a superstar coordinator- there are no small details that she misses! She will help in any way she can, always going above and beyond. Her finesse and guidance are what helped me as the bride trust the wedding day would be smooth sailing. Jess was also a joy to work with and was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Debbie is one of the servers, and is just wonderful! She made sure the bridesmaids and I were taken care of 24/7 and told us if we were having fun, her "old bones" were having fun. She is the sweetest, spunkiest, most attentive gal and also waited on the parents/ families during the reception. Our parents are still in love with her! The bartenders were also fantastic and had great personalities the guests really enjoyed. The food was delicious, service first class, and unique atmosphere unbeatable. Guests have been raving about it nonstop! Our wedding was everything we had hoped for and more. The Bluestone is worth every dollar spent!

The plated dinner was great, the meals came out to each guests request, hot and delicious, the servers were attentive and efficient, the bar made great drinks, the security detail was polite and conscientious, the lighting crew perfectly lit up the stage, trees and the dance floor, and the coat check was perfect for the guest coats and wraps on the cold winter evening. Sara was a delight to work with. She was there from our first tour, through communicating to an out of state Bride-to-be, to assisting with guest arrival and making sure this wedding was just how we had imagined. The evening was enjoyed by everyone.

things and after talking to a few other people who had attended weddings there and looking at reviews and pictures online, we decided to take the plunge. It was a great decision. I can't say enough wonderful things about The Bluestone! The venue is absolutely beautiful! Sarah, our wedding planner, took care of everything down to the last little detail. The entire staff was attentive throughout the night. We had guests commenting on the great service. Debbie seemed to be everywhere we needed her the entire evening and even loaded the gifts into our car at the end of the night. Our photographer, also from Cincinnati, loved all of the great spots for photos. The band said it is one of their very favorite venues. I would give it more stars if I could!

around 200 guests (even some who forgot to RSVP...really - and Sarah took care of it no problem) every single guest commented about how there was some kind of magic in the air and that our wedding was the perfect mix of elegant and fun thanks to the Bluestone. The staff is unlike any I have experienced. During our wedding the staff made sure everything was perfect, even when a guest knocked over a large vase with a candle (wax everywhere) and busted it, Sarah's staff had a brand new vase and candle in its place before I came down the aisle. I didn't even notice, I was told after the fact! Matt who works there was so incredible - he found a pillow for my grandfather's back, helped my family friend with arthritis down the stairs and made sure she got to her table and got anything she needed. We found out these things after the fact - and so wish we had a way of thanking him for his above and beyond kindness!! A guest even lost their cell phone and the staff ran around until they found it! A wonderful waitress named Deb also made sure my parents were taken care of with drinks all night long, she was so sweet and even joined us on the dance floor. The staff made sure the bridal party had everything they needed the entire night. Centerpieces are one thing I totally obsessed over and wanted to be so perfect, I was nervous about not being able to set them up myself when they turned over the reception, however, the staff made my centerpieces EXACTLY as I wanted and every single table looked perfect. They even take care of all of the clean up and place all of your things together so you can easily come pick it up the next day and just enjoy your wedding night. The BEST part, is now one of my bridesmaids and one of my husband's groomsmen will now be getting married at The Bluestone, so we get to experience this amazing venue again and we could not be more thrilled!! HIGHLY recommend!

d for, and was excellent with her communication. We wanted a venue that wasn't a reception hall or country club and the Bluestone gave us the space, service and character we were looking for. I can't even count the number of guests that came up to us and told us it was one of the nicest weddings they have been to. We had a few guests with food allergies and the kitchen staff even made a point to visit each of them to make sure their selections didn't cause any reactions; this was very reassuring, especially to our friends with a child with peanut allergies. That is above and beyond. The wait staff asked what my wife and I were drinking and always had a fresh drink ready to go, and everyone who worked there addressed us by name, which was a very nice touch. We can't thank the staff enough and would absolutely recommend the Bluestone for a wedding.

She allowed us to drop things off at the venue early, hang out all day, brought us refreshments, champagne and wine when we needed it and all with a smile on her face. The venue looked PERFECT-better than I had in mind. The decorating crew placed everything so that it looked just right. We got SO many compliments on how cool the place was from our guests.
