morning appointment, and while I liked the dresses I tried on, I wasn't in love. We actually opted to keep shopping elsewhere, but after being less than impressed with other bridal salons in the Dallas area, we ended up calling Blushing Bride that same evening and asking for another appointment. We were wanting the same stylist to help us if possible, but she originally wasnt available for the sunday appointment the following day. However, Lori was an absolute sweetheart and came in ON HER DAY OFF to help me find my perfect gown. As it turns out, she had seen a gown the previous day after I left that she felt would be perfect, and she was thrilled to help me try it on the next morning. Sure enough- it was my dress!! I owe Lori everything for taking the time to make me feel special, to hear me out and stick with me through the many dresses we tried on, and for giving HER time to help me feel like a beautiful bride. I would recommend this shop 10000x over and I can not wait to wear my gown on my wedding day!

. We went to 6 places over the weekend and this was by far the best experience. Highly recommend. Helpful workers and all were super friendly! Also it was so nice to get to walk around and look at the dresses to choose to try on! It was so great I went back as I changed/shifted the style I was interested in and Madison was there again to help me! I ended up finding 3 top contenders and now need to decide! Cannot recommend this shop and Madison enough! A must to go to if you are a new bride to be!

y appointment and was having some slight dress confusion while searching for my reception dress. My bridal consultant made extremely rude comments when I showed her my ceremony dress and even offered a recommendation on where I could resell it. Every time I said something about my wedding she would say “oh that’s interesting” and just made nasty comments the entire appointment. I started crying during the appointment but tried to hide it every time she walked into the dressing room. I left the appointment SOBBING. No bride should EVER feel like that. I’ve talked to some other people who have mentioned how truly awful this place is and just want to warn people to stay away. Wedding dress shopping should be a happy, exciting experience, not one where you’re left sobbing feeling like your entire wedding is being mocked by an older lady.

rk. I Fell in LOVE with the Designer Eva Lendel and her minimalistic, timeless styles. The Blushing Bride was the ONLY store in Texas that carried her collections! I Promptly booked my appointment and made the 4 hour drive to north Texas! The staff was incredibly sweet and helped me seek out every dress in the store that fit my vision and budget! My consultant wanted me to feel incredible in the dress i chose. I ended up purchasing the dress i had eyes for, the Jess, by Eva Lendel!

have had a better experience. The boutique itself is beautiful and open, making it stress-free and wonderful to look through dresses! I picked out a several that I liked. I was told to look through the dresses I had and try on “the most beautiful dress in the room.” It turns out that the first dress I put on ended up being my wedding dress. They made me feel so beautiful in every dress I put on, but especially in the dress that I ended up choosing. They were helpful with veils, explaining the details and lengths. And did a great job choosing the size that I needed, as well. When it came time for my bridals, my dress was a month late (due to the designer and shipping, not the boutique). I was freaking out a bit, but they rushed alterations for me and got my dress completely altered in 4 days! I could not have been happier (and what a stress relief that was)! I felt beautiful on my wedding day. My dress fit comfortably, so I could dance the night away! I truly cannot thank Blushing Bride enough for helping me find the dress of my dreams and making the process so wonderful along the way! 💕

After quickly learning some of that information, she suggested I try one on that fit with my vision and venue and I quickly fell IN LOVE! I can’t recommend the Blushing Bride Boutique Austin enough!! I also felt extremely comfortable and confident with Shana throughout the process and being in charge of coordinating my wedding gown order and delivery. She is also really open to make any modification or customization to your gown if that is something you're wanting to do.

ble (10/10 would recommend their alteration lady)… however, their communication leaves much to be desired. My wedding was late March and my dress was expected to arrive by the end of December. After not hearing from them by the end of the year, I called to make sure there were no issues (covid & all…) and it turns out my dress was there. I then had to call back again to set an appt to try on veils (since my wedding was in 2 months and they weren’t calling me) and then hunt the owner down while I was there to actually schedule alterations while I was there trying on veils. This definitely did not help relieve any stress before my wedding day. That being said, if you’re willing to be proactive and make sure they’re following a timeline that feels comfortable for you, you will get a gorgeous dress that looks beautiful on you.

ress and would not be coming to the appointment. They went ahead and charged my card $100 for not canceling within 24hrs. In the bridal world MOST salons will honor the fact that you found your dress and therefore not charge you for not canceling within 24hrs. I never signed or received any email stating the fee would be $100, NOR did I know this establishment would charge me even if I had just found my gown. I even told this salon that I had an appointment before at a different salon, when booking my appointment. The woman NEVER stated anything regarding a fee. needless to say..don’t go to this salon on the same day you are going to others

ct for my daughter. However- We picked out bridesmaid dresses but didn’t have measurements. Daughter liked cranberry color. I asked for sample swatches of both cranberry & Marsala to be sure which we wanted but cranberry had been noted on the paperwork. One bridesmaid went in to be measured. The other 2 gave me measurements & I called them in. We had been told none of the dresses would be ordered until all measurements were in. When I called with last 2, I ordered the dresses & paid over the phone. I did NOT receive any written confirmation nor was the color confirmed (my bad not to ask specifically). When I got my credit card statement I realized only 2 dresses were charged. I called & found out the first dress - measured at the shop - had not been ordered. So asked for third dress to be ordered. If I had not noticed we would have been short one dress..... Again - no mention of color or written or oral confirmation. Fast forward to 4 weeks before the wedding. Daughter picks up dresses without noticing color. Dresses are MARSALA, NOT CRANBERRY. I call shop. Am told Marsala was written on order. Am told the cranberry dresses could be ordered & received the Monday before the Saturday wedding. Knowing alterations would be needed & 2 girls from out of town, my daughter agreed to use Marsala. Her colors were navy & cranberry- or were supposed to be. At this point she told me she just wanted to get married. Fortunately she is NOT a bridezilla. Relayed this info to Blushing Bride. NEVER an apology or admitting to ordering wrong color or acknowledging color should have been verified when ordered. According to BB no error made. I asked since there was a mixup could we get wedding dress alterations free of charge? Salesperson hemmed & hawed & finally said ok - she’d pay for it out of her own pocket. Alterations were beautifully done. Happy with wedding dress. IF you use BB, DEMAND written documentation of all orders. I realize we should have verified color of dresses when ordering and asked for written copy of order but made incorrect assumption boutique would get this right. We had to change colors of men’s ties to match the dresses which was easily done. Also had to change floral ribbons to a darker red so they didn’t look out of place. All worked in the end but VERY disappointed in the customer service & lack of any remorse for the error. Just saying I’m sorry we had the misunderstanding would have been appreciated!!

dress and was very attentive and helpful through the whole trying on and buying process. I really loved the alterations process up until today. They stress the fact that the month leading up to a wedding can change a bride's body a little, due to the stress of wedding planning (totally agree and appreciate) so they do alterations starting a month out, and weekly until your date, in order to get the perfect fit. Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic, my wedding has been postponed from my original end-of-march date. I went in for my final fitting anyways, and on my way out asked about the possibility of coming in for more alterations, ONLY IF NEEDED, closer to my new date. The response I received was "Well....you're kind of done with alterations." The woman then gave me a fake smile to tried to make it seem like I asked a really stupid question and she was humoring me. Now, I get that this whole Coronavirus thing isn't their problem or their fault, but is it too much to ask to have a little bit of compassion and understanding? For someone in the business of customer service, I was really surprised to hear this response and see the body language that came with it. At that point, my whole opinion about this boutique was changed. Up until today, I would have left a GREAT review and recommended this shop to anyone. But after feeling completely defeated and disheartened by the way they handled my simple question, I don't think I will recommend them after all.

E dress. Debbie, the store manager, was super helpful & even came to the rescue when I needed additional fabric for a bridesmaid dress alteration. In addition, the alterations team did an excellent job in making sure the dress was a customized fit! Thank you Blushing Bride Team for helping make my wedding day perfect!

Then, once you get your dress the alterations are scheduled out for you based on your wedding timeline and your busy schedule! Above all, the staff makes you feel like a princess!

e doubt before I finally posted this. I had the pleasure of working with Laurie the first few times I went into the store to find my dress. I settled on one that I absolutely loved. I day dreamed about it, and it was a constant struggle to not show the try on picture to my (then) fiance. When we finally purchased the dress, they informed us that they ordered the dress size based on your largest measurement. The dress I tried on in the store was a size 18 - they made me order a size 30. Were the dress mermaid or trumpet, I would understand, but the dress was an A-line with a very loose flow-y tulle skirt that completely zipped up with the 18. My biggest measurement was my hips, which were hidden by the skirt. There was no need for a 30 - however, I decided not to worry about it because it's their policy, and I figured it would be fixed in alterations. Once my dress came in, I went through alterations and everything was fine. The woman did tell me she would put boning in the sides but she never did. I do not know if she forgot or decided not to. But the dress was finished and while it didn't look like it did at the fitting, I assumed the professionals knew what they were doing and that everything was done. Fast forward to wedding day. I get dressed. My MoH has a little trouble pulling up the zipper and tells me the top is uneven, but we get it zipped. The first few pictures in the fitting room look pretty good. We line up to walk out, and lo' and behold, the zipper rips apart. Let me tell you, I had walked maybe 20 steps total in the entire time I'd put the dress on. My MoH was not able to get the zipper back down to re-zip, so I was safety pinned at the top and bottom of the zipper with a pretty sloppy keyhole opening in the middle of the zipper for the ceremony. Not only did I have the gaping hole, the dress, meant to be worn without a bra, no longer held up the girls. I knew the second I walked out and saw my husbands face that the dress did not hang like it should have. I returned the dress the NEXT day. Told Debbie what happened (yes, the same Debbie you've read in other reviews), and she told me "This has never happened before." A quick read through the low rated reviews will tell you it absolutely has happened. I turned that dress in December 4th. It took until June 6th for us to get a response from them AFTER we'd heard nothing and I had my attorney send in a letter. They've said the fault is not theirs, and that they do not accept responsibility. Not once have we heard from the owner, mind you, only Debbie, who told us she would speak to the owner on multiple occasions. Guys, my dress is a beautiful dress, and until 10 minutes before my wedding, I had zero regrets going with Blushing Bride. And you can see, many woman have had success here. But be warned - if something goes wrong, they will not take blame for it.

I asked them if it was possible at all for me to come in on a Saturday since that was the only day I had to shop, and they made it work for me and my schedule, which I am SO grateful for because I found my dress here! I came shopping with my family and we all had so much fun with our consultant Lori! She was AMAZING. She pulled out so many beautiful dresses that I loved and really listened to what I wanted, and big plus, she made the appointment FUN!! I can't thank her enough for helping me find my dress! I would definitely make sure you visit the Blushing Bride during your dress shopping because their selection is just so beautiful and unique, and everyone there does their very best to make you happy!

The process was not stressful and the employees were so sweet and made me feel comfortable and welcome.

ie were wonderful in helping me find exactly what I was looking for by working with the designers of Naama & Anat to make a custom gown. They make you feel like a person and not just another customer, and they listen to your exact needs. I would suggest using their tailor for your alterations because she knows the dresses well and they do not try to up-sell you on anything! They have such a wide range of dress prices and sizes- anyone should be able to find what they are looking for here!! My mother in law and sister in law were both able to find "off the rack" dresses here as well - there were a couple beads that needed fixing and they had it fixed the next day at no cost! The customer service is outstanding.

tion for your appointment. Lori was my consultant and she is the absolute best! I am very particular and she was so patient with me, my mom and my sister. I am in between regular and plus sizes and Lori was able to find numerous dresses for me to try on. I never felt self conscious at all. When it came to the end of my appointment she suggested that I could come back on Monday to try on the gown again after thinking about it. There was never any pressure and I was able to take my time, try on the dress again and chose a veil on Monday. I will definitely recommend Lori and The Blushing Bride Boutique to everyone I know getting married!

e whole process, and Mimi in alterations was a MIRCLE WORKER and a BRIDE WHISPERER. Any stressor that I had, these ladies removed it with grace and ease. I did my dress preservation through them as well, and again, they knocked it out of the park. I HIGHLY recommend The Blushing Bride Boutique for your dress needs!

on the wrong day for my appointment and they were able to make time for me. They also worked with me on a short time frame due to my visiting the shop only months prior to my wedding day. I visited many bridal shops and this was by far one the best shop out there. They did not pressure me on time frame or limit my choices to dresses as many shops do. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable expeeience. The only reason I bought my dress from a different shop was because they did not carry my dream dress. They did however carry many dresses that fit my style and a lot of my top favorites that I compared other dresses to. Highly recommended.

were within my budget! I couldn’t decide between two dresses and they let us stay for over an HOUR just sitting in the room debating on which dress I should get. I will always recommend anyone looking for a dress to come here!! Not to mention the rest of the staff are all super friendly and welcoming! 100% recommend!!!
