The Bohlin at The Newport Yachting Center

The Bohlin was the first and only wedding venue i needed to look at in person. The tent is stunning and the location is a mix between city and sea! We loved working with Stephanie, Maria, and Lauren so much. The weeks leading up to the big day, Lauren was so receptive and responsive to all my crazy emails and calls! The day of the rehearsal and the day of the wedding is when Lauren truly shined, everything was seamless and effortless for our big day. We were so grateful to have chosen such a beautiful venue that matches our personalities of city chic but ocean loving, but also to have outstanding coordinators who we worked with over a year to create our perfect day (and that it was)! All our guests were so impressed by the venue but as well as the servers! We had Heckenney as our personal server during the wedding and she was amazing! We feel truly grateful for how perfect our special day felt to us! Thank you so much to The Bohlin!

I have been in love with The Bohlin for so many years. When I discovered it, through a friend, I said “if my boyfriend and I get married…this is where it will happen.” Something just felt right about it. Over 8 years later, with a Covid postponement…we were finally able to celebrate at The Bohlin and I sit here speechless. Due to Covid, the planning process was about 3 years. We got bounced around between wedding coordinators a few times due to covid, resignations, promotions, etc. and I will say…no matter what was going on…questions were answered immediately, transitions were seamless and we felt like we were the venue’s only couple. The day of was flawless. The Bohlin worked with our vendors to perfection, timelines were right on schedule, service was insanely perfect and it was hands down the best night of our lives. Not to mention - the compliments we are getting haven’t stopped. Jackie, Lauren, Heckeney and everyone else who helped us - thank you for the most memorable and incredible wedding. We are so grateful for you all!!

We absolutely loved our wedding at The Bohlin! Many of our guests commented that it was the best/most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. There was not a bite of food left on most of the dinner plates we saw, and everyone raved about the food. Their cocktail hour presentation was even adjusted to be more Covid-friendly and we felt very safe with their planning and preparation. The Bohlin staff were extremely professional, friendly, timely, and attentive, and everyone made sure my husband, our families, and I were taken care of with food, drink, and comfort throughout our event. We worked with Lauren to plan for our day, and she brought such a calm and professional presence to the planning process, and on our day she was an extremely attentive and helpful coordinator. Would recommend The Bohlin to everyone!!

I cannot say enough about our fabulous wedding at the Bohlin. When Covid-19 delayed our wedding by a year, the staff at the Bohlin could not have been more helpful in postponing for us. We had our wedding this year on July 30th. We lucked out with an amazing weather day - however, what I was most impressed by was the service of the Bohlin staff. Our wedding coordinator, Lauren Lysak, was amazing from start to finish. She really made all of my wedding dreams come true. The food, the scenery, the service, everything was so amazing. I could not recommend the Bohlin more and have received the most amazing compliments from my guests for the last week about the Bohlin. Thank you so much to the Bohlin team and everyone who made our wedding day so special.

We had an amazing experience with The Bohlin. The food was absolutely amazing and the entire staff made sure that we had all the food and drinks we needed throughout the wedding. Simply put it is a beautiful venue with great staff that made our special day perfect!

The Bohlin was everything we could have hoped for and more for our special day. My now husband and I live and work in the area and it was so amazing to have our friends and family celebrate with us in an area we know and love so much. We booked 1.5 years in advance (pre Covid) so obviously with the pandemic planning got a little stressful and scary with the unknown. The Bohlin staff was great throughout no matter what. Despite what challenges we were facing, they always reassured us we would have the best day no matter what. Our event manager got changed a few months before the wedding due to staffing movements - I will admit I was nervous about that but it all was great and literally every staff person we ever came in contact with from the Bohlin was top notch. The amount of compliments from the location, venue, food, everything is unmatched. We were able to have a completely pre-covid wedding due to the restrictions being lifted right before our date, and we are so grateful. Everyone had rave reviews and still three weeks later can’t stop talking about it. We also thought the price was reasonable considering being in Newport on the water, this venue they do and have everything for you. We didn’t have to coordinate any outside catering, cake or rentals. Also having the event manager work with you throughout the planning is great. No need for day of or wedding coordinator in my opinion (one less thing to pay for)! Highly recommend considering the Bohlin for your wedding, you will not be disappointed.

The Bohlin was the perfect location to host our Newport oyster-themed coastal wedding! To be right next to the harbor, the boats, the sunset, the Newport bridge in the background, it was incredible. You are right in the heart of Newport! My now husband and I have vacationed in Newport for many years, and my family and I have been visiting this coastal town since I was a baby. It is our favorite place in the world. The Bohlin is the quintessential spot for that coastal vibe with casual class without being over the top stuffy and buttoned up as some other venues might give off. We had our wedding ceremony with the sailboats going by followed by our dockside cocktail hour with live music. It is so nice to have everything in one spot at the Bohlin, and the staff work hard to make the transitions between seamless for you and your guests. Our guests are still raving about the location, flow from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, and they continue to compliment the efficiency and organization of the staff. We had a handful of guests with allergies and dietary restrictions. These guests said they have never been treated so well at any other wedding they have attended. The staff knew all of the allergies and all of the meal alterations needed for each guest. Food was brought out timely and efficiently and was absolutely delicious. From the cocktail hour passed hors d'oeuvres, to the overflowing raw bar, to the drinks, incredible entrees, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar, the Bohlin did not disappoint! My husband and I thought the cost at the Bohlin was extremely reasonable as the venue takes care of all of the food, tables, linens, and most of the decor. We chose from the simplest decor/linen/glassware/flatware package in terms of price and the look of the tables and tent were stunning. The beauty of the Bohlin tent is its simplicity. It is really a blank canvas so you can tailor it to your specific style and look for your wedding day. Our wedding day coordinator was reassigned a few months before the wedding which we were initially nervous about, but our new day of coordinator Lindsay Chapin blew it out of the water! She was absolutely incredible to work with and such a sweetheart. She was so responsive via email whenever we had the simplest question of clarification. We even scheduled a last minute in person meeting at the venue a few weeks prior to discuss layout and Covid matters, and Lindsay was always proactive and optimistic throughout it all. Obviously planning during Covid times was and still is challenging, but Lindsay and the Bohlin staff kept us up to date on all of the state and venue guidelines and restrictions on pretty much a weekly basis. The stars aligned for us in the end as the mask mandate and many other restrictions were lifted just days before the wedding! What an honor to host all of our friends and family as the world re-opened that week, and we are so thankful we chose the Bohlin to help us host all of them! Thank you to the Bohlin, to Lindsay, and to all of the hard working staff, from the bottom of our hearts for the most perfect wedding day! Book the Bohlin for your perfect Newport wedding! You won’t regret it!

We were completely disappointed by the service and team at The Bohlin. We signed our contract pre-COVID-19 and as things developed, tried to work with the staff to scale our headcount down to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and work within the guidelines of the state of Rhode Island. Despite the clear restrictions on the size of gatherings, the Bohlin informed us that they intended to charge us for our original 200-person headcount regardless. When we tried to request a refund for the breach of contract the venue refused, so we ultimately hired an attorney to help us reclaim our payments. In the wake of an already sad and disappointing time, the Bohlin and its staff made the situation so much more stressful.

Absolutely incredible. The compliments kept coming all night long, my guests were blown away! Such an incredible venue with outstanding views of Newport. Our planner was Jackie M- I cannot thank her enough for all her hard work. Throughout the entire process Jackie was absolutely amazing, professional, and attentive to all our needs. I didn’t want her to leave us on wedding day! Thank you so much to the entire team at the Bohlin for making our wedding dreams come true!

I’m not even sure where to begin.. everything from the booking process to the day of coordination was perfect! This was the first venue that my fiancé and I looked at and to be honest, we didn’t look too much longer after deciding that this was the place for us! It is beautifully located right on the water, the tent is magnificent and magical. We had the honor of working with Sara for our big day. Sara was so organized and she was always available to answer our questions! At the rehearsal, she put all my worries at ease, which made us feel so comfortable on the day of. We loved her energy, she did a fabulous job of bringing my vision to life. Everyone at the Bohlin did an amazing job, from the wait staff to the kitchen staff. Thank you Newport Restaurant Group for making the most special day of our lives truly amazing!

Where do we begin? The Bohlin was outstanding! Jackie was our planner who was so professional and fantastic. They had great attention to detail, double checking many of our decisions multiple times. The even coordinated with out outside vendors which took a huge weight off my husband and I. It made things so much easier for us on the wedding day when everything was taken care of. The wedding venue was beautiful, enchanting. The food was amazing!! Many of our guests commented on how good the food was and how it was possibly the best wedding they had been to. We don't have a single compliant. I wish we could do that all over again!

I truly cannot say enough great things about The Bohlin. We had our absolute dream wedding there this past October, and the team at The Bohlin was amazing to work with, beginning to end. Sara was our event manager, and her patience, responsiveness, and expertise are just a few things on the long list of reasons she was incredible to work with! She made our dream wedding a reality, and really is the best in the business! Everything was absolutely perfect - the decorations/set-up, the food, the service, and everything in between! It also goes without saying that the location is to die for - right on the water at the Newport Yachting Center, which happens to be in the heart of downtown Newport! We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. We will always cherish the memories made, and we give Sara and her team so much credit for making them happen. I could go on and on, but the point is that I really could not recommend any venue more highly!!!

We hosted our welcome reception at the Bohlin. The venue is picturesque and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par and not as advertised. "Thrill of the Grill" was represented as a grill requiring a "Grill Attendant." We received chaffers and skewers. The food was pulled nearly an hour before our event ended without any announcement...since it was only a two-hour event, this meant most guests didn't get anything to eat and a lot of food that we paid for went to waste. The sound system also had issues. Overall, we had a nice evening, but it was not really worth the money we spent.

Our daughter had her wedding here Sunday evening- amazing location, food and service. Compliments from all the guests and a very happy couple. There cannot be a better spot!

We got married on September 1, 2018 and couldn’t have been happier with everything. Sara is an absolute joy to work with from start to end. She was organized and calming which was very much appreciated. The venue itself was phenomenal, the food is delicious (am still getting compliments about the food) and the staff throughout the evening were wonderful. We had a waitress assigned to us that made sure we were happy with everything throughout the night who was wonderful. Would highly recommend The Bohlin from the views, the food and the wonderful staff. They make planning a wedding seamless!

We couldn't have found a more perfect venue for our wedding in August of this year. We loved being right downtown and the marina/docks created such a unique setting for the venue. Sara and team were phenomenal to work with in the planning process - very responsive to our various requests. Day of the wedding was incredibly raining so we ended up needing to do the ceremony under the rain tent but it was still absolutely beautiful and created a cozy environment. Plus we got an absolutely gorgeous sunset for photos so made the rain totally worth it. Could not recommend this venue enough.

We had the most incredible wedding at The Bohlin on 8-3-18. From start to finish this venue and it's staff were responsive, professional, and thoughtful. We were lucky to have Sara as our coordinator. She did a fabulous job listening to our wants and needs. She kept our budget in mind and made us feel totally taken care of throughout our wedding day. Many of our guests have raved about the food and service The Bohlin provided during our reception. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had! A couple additional things I want to mention: I loved how we (the bride and groom) always had food nearby or a drink refilled when needed (without even having to ask). We are also very thankful that our items were packed for us in a thoughtful manner. It made enjoying the day after so much easier! We've reminisced about our special day so much over the last three weeks. We wish we could live it all over again! A lot of that is attributed to how great this venue and it's staff made our night. Sara & her team were amazing. In the end, we couldn't have asked for a better venue. The location was perfect. Without Sara, we would have been lost. We did appreciate her working through every detail with us. The only reason we gave the venue 4/5 stars was because since it's in a prime location, you do get nickled and dimed for everything; parking included.

The Bohlin is a unique, beautiful and truly special place to be married. We had the most spectacular day and everything ran extremely smoothly and was exactly what we wanted. The food, drinks, atmosphere and location for stunning sunsets can't be beat. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for a venue in Newport where guests can relax by the water or dance all night. The Bohlin/Castle Hill staff made this day perfect for us in every way!

My husband and I had the most beautiful wedding and Sara was wonderful and made the planning process as stress free as possible. There are not enough words to describe how perfect our wedding was, a lot of that due to the hard work of Sara and the Bohlin staff. As someone that is an Wedding Coordinator in the RI industry, I had many thoughts and ideas and not only did Sara make all of it happen, but she was patient, never made me feel like I was asking too many questions, so sweet and kind, and beyond professional and talented. The only stressor of the day was the weather and the staff did everything they could to make it work outside, but last minute they rushed and brought everything inside as it started to rain as the ceremony was supposed to start. It was flawless and looked just as amazing as it would have outside. The food was amazing, even our toughest critics/guests raved, and said that it was the best wedding they had been to. I cannot say enough about Sara, i really can't! She never made us feel like a bother with requests and questions, she is always so upbeat and professional and never waivered on making us feel confident in choosing this venue. I could not be happier with our experience. Thank you all!

The Bohlin was the perfect venue, my husband and I walked in and fell in love right away. The views were breath taking and our guests are still talking about how awesome our wedding was, almost 3 months later. The food was amazing, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. The event planning staff were very accommodating and made my dream wedding a reality.

Hands down one of the best decisions my husband and I have made as a couple was deciding to have our wedding at the Bohlin. From the start, the sales manager and our event manager, Sarah were friendly, engaged, responsive and overall fantastic. They made the wedding planning and coordination process a breeze, especially with our crazy schedules. The venue itself is beautiful. The food is AMAZING. We received so many compliments from our guests that the venue was the most beautiful location they had ever attended a wedding. Additionally, the food is out of this world - from steak, to chicken and appetizers everything is fantastic and our guests are still raving about the food. The service was impeccable, not just to us or during dinner, but all Bohlin staff throughout the evening. Overall, this location, its team, food and drinks are the best of the best. Book this venue if you are looking for an amazing Newport wedding!

The Bohlin at the Newport Yachting Center was the most MAGICAL place to have a wedding. We could not have asked for a more gorgeous venue or ambiance to celebrate with friends and family. Sara, our wedding coordinator, was perfection and helped us with every step along the way. She was flexible, knowledgable and energetic. The tent was perfect, and having boat horns honk as we kissed was so memorable! All food, drink and service was impeccable and it is a beautiful venue for pictures. So many components were included, which helped to make planning much easier. Thank you to the Bohlin for making our big day so special!

We chose Newport Yachting Center last August! We were so excited to get married here, but even more excited to hear that they were undergoing renovations! The new tent was absolutely stunning. Sarah was really amazing to work with and made everything really easy for us. The food was amazing and everyone raved about it. The one downside which is why I only gave four stars was because I thought they over charge a lot. The parking situation for wedding guests is not great at all. They give you 5 complimentary spaces which is basically for your vendors. Since they don't own the lot you have to pay for it, and it's expensive. They could be one of the only venues in Newport without great parking. Our wedding was 250 people. When we booked we were told that the tent could fit up to 300, so we invited 270. To our surprise, we were told it would actually be pretty tight with 250 and the new tent. Sarah was very nice and did give us some bigger tables and reassured us that it would work and we would be fine. We did end up paying ($500) for another bar to alleviate some traffic inside the tent. Since there were a lot of add ons we were unable to do some other things we wanted to do with our reception. Over all the reception was great and the spot was amazing. We even took some pictures on a yacht! Everyone really enjoyed The Bohlin at Newport Yachting Center.

My husband and I couldn't be more happy that we chose to have our wedding at the Bohlin! The venue was absolute perfection and Sara Leonard was so incredibly great to work with. If you want to have an unforgettable wedding that's catered to your specific tastes, budget, and style, then the Bohlin is the place for you too. Our wedding was at the end of August on a beautiful, sunny day, which made the outdoor feel and amazing views at the Bohlin even better than we could have imagined. Everything from the service to the decor to the food was absolutely wonderful and we wouldn't change a thing!

I cannot give enough praises. Everything was perfect. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. The response time was amazing. They did everything they could to ensure my groom and I had a great day. Sara Leonard was my event coordinator and she did such an amazing job. There are no negatives for this venue. None. It was great!!

We knew this venue was for us the moment we saw it. The tent was even half taken down and it was pouring. Sara our event manager was the absolute best! From the details meeting to dealing with my daily emails asking questions she was so professional and helpful. She really made our dreams come true on the wedding day. We could not believe the transformation of the venue with the new ceremony site, pavers, tent, bathrooms, and amenities it had to offer. We were so beyond pleased with every single thing. We had so many detail items to be set-up and Sara set everything up more beautifully than we could have imagined. We do not have a single complaint about the process or wedding day, I wish we could enjoy that day again and again it was so perfect. We came in to the ceremony by boat and Sara was able to coordinate and change up our ceremony to accommodate all of our crazy ideas. Special thanks to the bar staff, marina staff, and set-up staff as well! Guests are still talking about how amazing and beautiful the wedding was. You're doing something wrong if you don't have your wedding here :)

We booked the Newport Yachting Center back in May and I could not be happier. Ashlee has been a pleasure to work with. She provided in site on local vendors, hotels and a place for a rehearsal dinner. It is so refreshing to work with such a pleasant person during this hectic time! She has also let my Fiance and I come and view the venue when and actual wedding is set up which is so nice because I was able to plan how I wanted to start setting up on my wedding day. The venue itself is beautiful. I love how it is tucked away from the downtown craziness but it is still so close to local bars, restaurants and hotels. I also love how the venue is so simple and beautiful. You can customize it however you would like. So refreshing compared to a basic banquet room with those ugly rugs ;). I fell in love with the outside patio that overlooks the water. I could go on and on but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking your wedding at the Newport Yachting Center. You will NOT regret it :) Can not wait to get married at the Newport Yachting Center on October 1,2016!!

I could not have been happier with our decision to book our wedding with the Newport Yachting Center. Amanda made the entire experience feel easy. She was very responsive and was able to answer any and all questions that I had. The day of the wedding she made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. Everything from the food to the venue and the view was spectacular. The wedding day could not have turned out more beautiful there. The weather was perfect and we even got invited onto a few peoples yachts to take photos and have drinks. This venue is definitely worth every penny! They will take care of pretty much anything that you request and walk you through the entire process. I highly recommend doing any event with them!

The Newport Yachting Center went above and beyond to make my wedding day special. They were in constant communication, helped us almost every step of the way, and were extremely accommodating. They provided me with food items and meals that adhered to my dietary needs, and made sure I was a happy bride. Amanda, who coordinated my event, was knowledgeable and friendly. The ceremony and reception was beautiful. Newport experience without the HUGE Newport price!

Karl & I were married on Labor day weekend in Newport. We had an 18 month long engagement so we really got to know Amanda & Ashlee, they were with us every step of the way. Constantly available for questions and so good when it came down to the last few months. Amanda Clapp is amazing she executes everything with class and excellence. We had no worries at all. Our venue was beautifully done, the setting is perfect and the food top stars. For our meal we had Halibut and Tenderloin. We did the Halibut with a crab and sweet potato hash which was excellent. For passed we did mini lobster rolls, with chowder for the New England feel, they were excellent. The chef who we met during our tasting presented all our dishes beautifully. We also enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and mini sliders. Late night snack was fish and chips with a malt vinegar aoili! Our bartenders were a big hit, everyone the following day said how much fun they had with the girls, the beverage manager Noble stayed with us all night filling our champagne and making sure we were happy! He also made sure I had my Saint Germaine at the bar which I had mentioned. I really cant say enough good things about the yachting center and any brides I have met have said the same! You wont go wrong with your decision.

NYC was an amazing venue for our June wedding. The whole process from beginning to end was very easy due to their timliness, professionalism and clear communication. They worked with us from the beginning to make our day just what we hoped for. Amanda was our event manager and she took great care of us. Unfortunately it rained shorly before the ceremony was taking place, but they did a great job of adjusting on their feet and the whole night went off without a hitch. Beautiful venue for views for your guests as well as pictures.

My husband and I were married at the Newport Yachting Center on June 6th, 2015. Approximately 14 months before the wedding, we began looking at different venues. Ashlee, who coordinated booking the venue, was absolutely fantastic. She provided an excellent initial meeting, answered all of our questions, and always responded to emails promptly. My husband and I decided to book the venue after being impressed with everything the NYC had to offer. Five months before the wedding, we began the planning process. Amanda was great to work with and made all of our decisions super easy! As the wedding date approached, Amanda and the venue were super flexible with making changes and planning out minor details. When it comes to the wedding day itself, we could not have been more happy with our venue choice. The location, tent, and decorations were amazing. Everything was planned and coordinated by Amanda and staff, allowing everything to flow perfectly. We even had our own wedding party attendant, who worked tirelessly the entire night to ensure the entire wedding party was taken care of. Our guests absolutely loved the entire experience, including the atmosphere, food, and bar selection, and still talk about it four months later! Thank you to Amanda, Ashlee, and the entire Newport Yachting Center staff for giving us our dream wedding!!!

I just recently had my wedding at the Newport Yachting Center and to say I was satisfied with the experience is a total understatement! I was a bit of a nervous bride and the event managers (particularly Ashley and Amanda who were my main points of contact) were always prompt and friendly in answering any question that I had! They are truly there to help you with anything that you need and were so gracious, even when I asked questions (such as about booking hotel blocks, etc) that extended well beyond the scope of their job! They totally put me at ease during the entire process and I cannot say what a relief it was to have experts on hand to assist me from start to finish. On top of the wonderful staff, the setting itself is phenomenal! I received rave reviews all night for the stunning marina and water views, it is truly a magical setting and is quintessential Newport! The food was also absolutely wonderful! I received compliments all night long about the passed appetizers and everyone I spoke with absolutely loved their entrees! The event manager made sure that my husband and I had a sample of all the appetizers waiting for us at our table, since we all know it can be difficult for the bride and groom to get to eat... touches like that really made the experience at the NYC second to none! The wait staff and managers on site for the evening were also extremely attentive to both myself and the guests - the event manager always made sure I had everything I needed to truly enjoy the evening. I could just tell how much the entire staff wanted me to enjoy the day and it felt so good to have such wonderful people around me on such an important day. The Newport Yachting Center has it all and I am thrilled beyond belief with how everything turned out. As far as I'm concerned, the NYC is by far the best value in Newport and should be on everyone's list! I would HIGHLY recommend the NYC and would give them more stars if it were possible!

If you want the best view in Newport and the most amazing food/drink/staff possible, this is definitely the place for you. From the first time we met with Ashlee at our consultation, all the way through to the planning process with Amanda, the team was not only incredibly helpful but very responsive and great at easing any worries I had. We had a few specific requests that were somewhat out of the norm, and Amanda was not only great about answering my questions, but she made everything come to life just as I imagined it. Planning your wedding can be very overwhelming, especially if you are relying on others to execute your ideas. Amanda made everything happen just as if I was there doing it myself. This venue was exactly what my now husband and I were looking for in our reception location and it beyond exceeded our expectations. You honestly cannot beat the location, especially on a nice sunny summer day. Our guests kept coming up to us throughout the night saying how amazing the view of the harbor is, especially with the lights at night. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone loved the cake (it was part of our package and made by Scrumptions Bakery). We also added on the Dels Lemonade Cart and it was a HUGE hit! A BIG BIG thank you to Ashlee, Amanda, and everyone else at the NYC!

My husband and I can't say enough about the incredible experience we had with the Newport Yachting Center. Ashlee and Amanda were extremely helpful in making sure we had the perfect day. Their attention to detail and and friendliness was indicative of the entire staff. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We had countless guests coming up to us to let us know that it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever attended and some of the best food they've ever had. For anyone considering a wedding down in Newport I would suggest looking no further than the Yachting Center, as you will fall in love. We even had boaters allow us on their yachts to take pictures with our wedding party!

The Newport Yachting Center was the perfect venue for our wedding! Everything from the location, food and atmosphere was amazing. The service was top of the line as well. Ashlee worked with us to help us choose the right package for us and was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the overwhelming process easy. Once the venue was booked, we worked with Amanda on all the details of the wedding day. Amanda was very patient, professional and prompt at responding to questions. She made the wedding day go very smoothly and I was at ease knowing she was there to help. I can't say enough about the NYC and would highly recommend this venue!

Ashlee and Amanda made our wedding perfect and the process of planning easy. We had 150 New Yorkers who have high expectations for weddings up to Newport and each one raved about how it was the best wedding ever! The venue is gorgeous and provides such natural beauty not much extra is needed. The food was delicious and all of our guests loved when the yachts honked their horns for our kiss. Guests danced the night away and when they needed a break they stepped out and talked while sitting on the teak furniture looking at the newport harbor and lit up boats under the stars. It was beyond beautiful and so affordably priced.

The Newport Yachting Center made our wedding a dream come true! Ashlee was so friendly and easy to talk to in the beginning phases. We were planning a destination wedding and she fit us right in to see the property and answer all of our questions. Amanda was AMAZING at guiding us on the path of planning our wedding. She answered all of our questions and mapped out the most beautiful wedding for us. Our guests were in awe of absolutely everything. This location is a hidden gem in the heart of Newport. You are a crazy person if you don't consider this venue for your wedding. Nautical, beautiful views, amazing staff, and hands down the best food you will ever have at a wedding. LOVED IT ALL!

My husband and I walked into the Newport Yachting Center a year before our wedding and knew this was exactly the place we wanted to be married. Amanda and her crew made the experience seamless for us and always made my husband and I feel like the priority. Everything turned out so beautifully and our guests couldn't agree more. We wouldn't change anything for the world. Thank you NYC for making our wedding day so memorable.

We loved the Newport Yachting Center from the first time we saw it in the dead of winter! Our guests were able to wander around the docks while enjoying the incredible sunset and quintessential Newport views such as the bridge and harbor, as well as dance the night away inside the open tent! The venue personifies coastal elegance with fun mixed in - just the vibe we were going for! - while also being more economical the many of the venues we looked at in the area (but just as lovely in our book). The NYC provided excellent food and even created a special entree accompaniment just for us (the chef was so accommodating!) while also contracting us with other awesome vendors such as Scrumptions for our cake and Del's for the amazing lemonade stand (with passed signature cocktail!). We were lucky to have beautiful weather on our day but would have had an amazing event no matter what due to the wonderful NYC staff. Amanda, the Events Manager, worked with us every step of the way, ensuring our every need was met and going above and beyond to do so. She is professional, prompt, and went out of her way to help us out - for example, she allowed us to do the drop off of our items needed on-site (i.e. guestbook, escort cards, favors) a day early and didn't blink an eye when we were running late. We also had a lot of DIY items, all of which she put together correctly and without much instruction from us - we couldn't have done it without her and were thrilled with the tent set-up upon our arrival!! In addition to Amanda, who was with us every step of the way, we also have to give a special shout out to Jasmine, the personal attendant for the bridal party. We had a large party and every single one of them commented on how amazing and on top of things she was. She got everyone drinks and food, made a special appetizer for myself and my husband, made sure we got some cake, and even helped with my bustle. Jasmine is a total gem, and the NYC is lucky to have her!

The Newport Yachting Center was the last venue we looked at and as soon as we saw it we knew it was the one. After visiting many venues in Newport and seeing the cost of all of them and what you received with that it was no question that NYC was the place for our July wedding. It was reasonably priced for an excellent location. Amanda Clapp was our wedding coordinator and she was awesome, always answering emails and had the answers to all my questions. The food was amazing, everyone couldn't stop talking about it after the wedding. They do such a great job here and it really is the best value for your dollar in Newport! We couldn't of asked for a better day and thanks to the NYC it was perfectly executed!!!

If you're looking for a place to have your reception that is out of the ordinary, this is your place. Not only is it right on the water, the entire venue is flawless. Amanda and Adrienne are exceptional .

I couldn't have been more happier with the venue for my wedding ceremony and reception. Adrienne and Amanda were always just an e-mail away and always quick to respond with questions and inquiries I had regarding my big day. The service was just absolutely outstanding. It really shows that they care about your big day just as much as you do! Being right down on the water, the view was spectacular and great to watch the sunset. One feature I really enjoyed about this venue was that catering costs are included! It really helped out a lot not having to worry about another vendor as the N.Y.C. took care of it. I can't express or even come remotely close to expressing how over joyed I am. They really went out of their way to go over and beyond my wildest expectations. It's been 3 weeks since the wedding and the guests are still complimenting us on it! The next day I heard my husband say "we should do this every week". I totally would.

Everything was exceptional. Amanda Barker was great. The food was amazing. I thought that they did an amazing job setting everything up. I was pleased!

I had my ceremony and reception at the Newport Yachting Center and I could not have asked for anything better. The location is great, it seems like it is in a busy part of Newport, but the tent is tucked away that no one really knows that it is there. The scenery is beautiful, even prettier at night. The food was great, was told that my many of my guests as well and the staff was amazing. Amanda helped me plan my entire wedding and she was amazing! She answered all my questions and helped me every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. One thing I did like was that your cake is included in your package, and it comes from a local bakery in Newport...can't remeber their name but they were at the bridal shows. The cake was amazing and was told by many of my guests how good the cake was. I looked into other venues in Newport and they were just so expensive for a Saturday night wedding, which is what we wanted. The Yachting Center is definetely reasonable for a venue in Newport. I didn't doubt the wedding wouldn't be beautiful, but it turned out better than I ever expected and the staff at the Newport Yachting Center went above and beyond my expectations.

The Yachting Center was the absolute perfect place for us to have a wedding. We were lucky enough to have our wedding on a beautiful night and the patio complete with teak furniture just extended our reception area outdoors. We had a blast and the stuff was wonderful to work with - especially Adrienne and Amanda. I would recommend them to anyone!

The Newport Yachting Center went above and beyond to make our wedding an amazing night. The food and service was top notch and the coordinator, Amanda was very accommodating and organized. I would recommend using NYC as a wedding venue to anyone who asked - they were wonderful!

I'm so happy that I found this venue. The people there are amazing to work with - very professional, responsive, and helpful. They basically act as a wedding planner for you the day of the wedding to coordinate with all the vendors! The food is amazing - all my guests said it was some of the best wedding food they've had. The venue itself is beautiful - in the heart of Newport, right on the water. Absolutely gorgeous place to have your wedding ceremony as well. Prices are very reasonable...especially for Newport! The service and staff were wonderful - all throughout the planning and on the day-off. This place was one of the reasons that so many of my guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been too. Very highly recommended!

We wanted a casual but elegant wedding and this venue was perfect. Not to mention that the food was outstanding and the service could not have been better.

The venue was absolutely beautiful and we were so happy with how everything came out. The tent is huge and was perfect for our 200+ person wedding. Our DJ provided some up lighting around the walls of the tent which I would definitely recommend. It helped soften all the bright whiteness of the tent. We had our sunset ceremony outside on the dock overlooking the water and the Newport Bridge. They set up a bar both inside and outside the tent so guests could get away from the loud music and still feel like they were apart of the party.
