I ended up doing airbrush on wedding day and it stayed way better than the trial makeup. I loved my hair! The trial was quite pricey, which of course you need to have, but frustrating when it was expensive and I didn't like it after returning home. However, Mariel made up for it on wedding day.

just amazing. My daughter, the bride...looked just absolutely gorgeous!!!!! They took their time to listen to what each bridesmaid was looking for in their hair and makeup. They made sure each one, including me, were happy and excited with the way we looked. But, Mariel didn't stop there. She went way above and beyond when she traveled over to the venue with us. She touched everyone up as much as we needed to be. She literally like I said went above and beyond, with literally taking picutres for me at the first look with my daugher and her father and also with her now husband. She made sure Marissa, the bride, was extremely calm, and helped her even with her wedding dress. I cannot say the most awesome experience we had with Mariel and her team. She covered all of the little details, like making sure that my mom and sister knew how to take my veil in and out of my updo. riel had to make a schedule to accommodate myself and 10 others. From the second Mariel and her two girls arrived (perfectly on time), they were ready to work, stayed on schedule, and also were just super enjoyable to be around. Nothing felt uptight or forced. I let my girls choose ANY hairstyle and makeup style and they accommodated each and every one. I have some picky girls, everyone was happy, and everyone still looked good several hours later. I was beyond happy with my hair and makeup, and it photographed better than I ever imagined. Logistically, having one vendor for both hair and makeup made everything from communication/coordination to payment/tipping easier. I believe her pricing was completely reasonable and if I were doing it again, I would use The Bridal Artistry Co. again. Thanks Mariel!

ad a number of last minute change-ups - I forgot to pre-wash my extensions and ended up deciding on my hair style that day, plus my sister's girlfriend ended up getting her hair done. She and her team were incredibly flexible and put me at-ease. They were also so nice about last minute touch ups and changes. My hair stayed and makeup stayed perfectly the entire night. about makeup and especially not bridal makeup, but Mariel was always patient with my ever-changing whims. I really felt like a princess at my wedding! I love that Mariel does both hair and makeup---not only does that make all communications smoother, but I also think it makes it so she has a better understanding of your hair and makeup vision because she does them both. My makeup stayed on ALL day, including my false lashes! This is major because I've experiences with other makeup artists where my false lashes came off after only a few hours. My hair also stayed in place the entire time. My bridal party and I looked beautiful all day thanks to Mariel and her team!

Before the wedding day, Mariel provided details instructions on what was to be expected on the morning of and how my party and I could best prepare. She provided a schedule as to when everyone would be getting their hair and makeup done. On the morning of Mariel and her team were right on time and get to work immediately. They kept on schedule and got me and my girls ready with plenty of time to spare. Mariel and her team were friendly and so incredibly positive. Starting our day with Mariel was the perfect start to my wedding day and I could not imagine anyone else being there in those early hours. Her work is flawless. Everyone's hair and makeup looked incredible and lasted through the night. I HIGHLY recommend!

As someone who does not wear a lot of make-up and wanted a more natural look, Mariel was able to achieve this while also making me feel like the most glamourous version of myself. We wound up doing two trials because my allergies did not cooperate the first time around but could not have been more comfortable going into the day. EEN. Looking for makeup I wanted someone who had a more natural feel to look like myself on my wedding day. Mariel did just this, checking in throughout my trial to make sure I was okay with all shades/ tones . My bridesmaids were so impressed and happy with their hair and makeup day of, her team also absolutely amazing and accommodating to a room full of girls with different styles. I’ve never been one for too much make up as I don’t love how it looks on me in real life but know how important it is for photos so striking the right balance would be no easy attempt but Mariel gave me exactly what I asked for (and avoided the very long list of things I did not want!) and more! Being as particular as I am, I even asked her to make some small changes the morning of the wedding from what she did in the trial and she nailed it. I was truly blown away and so incredibly happy with how subtle but glamorous she made my makeup and delivered the most perfect bridal ponytail that I had been dreaming up in my head but had never found a picture to capture exactly what I was thinking….until Mariel made it come to life. My day was truly in so many ways but best of all was not having to worry one bit about my hair or makeup - it lasted the entire day (and through A LOT of dancing), all making the entire experience perfect. It was just the two of us for most of that morning and I honestly felt like I was hanging out with an old friend….an old friend who was able to make my hair and makeup look flawless, that is. When I had decided to go for a different look for the wedding celebration, I was torn on wearing my hair up or down. Mariel talked me through both styles and provided her honest and professional opinion on what she thought I should do.. I went with her suggestion and it was the best decision I could have made. (PSA: if Mariel suggests a ponytail, WEAR A PONYTAIL) On the day of the wedding, I was so blown away by my hair and makeup that I actually teared up when I saw myself. My bridesmaids also looked absolutely stunning – everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup that they’re still talking about how good of a job Mariel and Dara did weeks later. Mariel is by far one of the best hair and makeup artists I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Not only is she extremely talented, but she has an awesome personality that brings a calm and fun energy to what can often be an emotionally packed day.
