Everything was awesome until....my dress came in (early-yay!!!) and I was told after the 1st fitting to come back for a 2nd fitting on a particular day with an appointment time. When I showed up, I was told the gown was not ready. I asked why... I wasnt called. No explanation. I would've been ok with at least a phone call so I didnt waste my time and gas to get there! Then it happened yet again. This time I had bridesmaids coming to meet me that were driving as far as an hour away! Then I was told that my gown was being worked on upstairs as we spoke and just as soon as the bridesmaids were done with their dresses that my gown should be ready for the 2nd fitting! As I am waiting with one of my bridesmaids on the 2nd bridesmaid, the alteration lady walked through the back door! Really? Then who the heck is upstairs working on my dress when there is only 1 seamstress employed by The Bridal Loft! I was livid, but didn't say anything about the bold face lie! I tried on my gown a little while later. It needed further hemming, so the seamstress pinned the gown! The bridesmaids had jackets with their dresses. They were supposed to be 3/4 length, but that is not how they were manufactured, so the seamstress was to hem them. When we ALL picked up our dresses/and my gown the day before the wedding after pedicures on the way to the rehearsal, we DID NOT try anything on! Oh boy, we should have! One of the bridesmaids with a jacket, her sleeves were very noticeably uneven. She did not wear her jacket for the wedding or reception ($40+ down the drain)! The other one with the jacket her sleeves were correct, however she was supposed to have snaps added to the chest area to keep the jacket laying flat onto the dress, the snaps were not added! Last time I spoke to both girls, they were going back and asking for their money back for the jackets.
