I absolutly LOVE the dress I purchased... however if the dress was available at any other Bridal shop, I would have went there. When I tried on my dress, the consultant I had (who no longer works there) was so nice and so pleasant to work with.... She told me that my dress would take 4-6 months to come in. Nearing the 5 month mark (and two months before the wedding), I called the Bridal Shop to see if they knew when my dress was coming in. For weeks they kept telling me they were "trying" to get in touch with the designer to see when the dress would ship. SHIP?!?! I ordered the dress in February and was told the dress was IN THE WAREHOUSE! How could it have not shipped? I kept my cool with them until about 4 weeks until the wedding. I called them constantly until they were finally able to confirm a ship date and I would receive the dress 3 1/2 weeks before the wedding. All they kept telling me was "not to worry" because they know people who could get the alterations done on "short" notice. I kept telling the staff that I didnt want my alterations done on a rush. I picked up my dress 3 1/2 weeks before the wedding and thankfully found someone to do the Alterations in 2 1/2 weeks time. Then with one week left I had to scramble to find someone to press and steam the dress in a weeks time. Never once did the Bridal Shop appoligize for the extra time it took in getting my dress or offer an explanation as to why it took so long to get the dress when it was confirmed that it was in the warehouse. On top of everything, they screwed up the measurements of 3 of my groomsman and had to rush in another piece of the tux and many others needed them to be altered in the shop. They lost the measurements of one of the groomsman 3 times and messed up the color of the ties that were worn by the fathers. Their dresses are beautiful, but sometimes not worth the stress right before the wedding. Use caution when going to the Bridal Shop and order your dress a year in advance! Apparently 8 months almost wasnt enough.
