The Bull Run was by far the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding! From the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere, everything came out perfect! Amanda was so helpful during the planning process through all my ever-changing ideas, right down to the week before. Everyone raved about the food, and the personal favorite of the popcorn bar addition! The bar staff was absolutely excellent and they enjoyed themselves with us! We couldn't have asked for a better reception venue!
I cannot say enough about how perfect The Bull Run was for our wedding. Amanda and her team made for a flawless and gorgeous event. From the first tour, to the tasting, to the event, I don't have a single thing I would change. Amanda was so responsive and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. She made us so comfortable and confident in our big day. We did our rehearsal dinner here as well and they made both events to special We will definitely be back for meals and the food is incredible. Highly, highly recommend them.
We had wedding in April 2022. We and our guests had an amazing time. Amanda, Linda, and the rest of staff were able to execute our vision to perfection. We couldn't be happier with how things turned out and the time everyone took to make sure that things turned out exactly how we envisioned.
We had our micro wedding here in December, 2020. Amanda was so helpful every step of the way. Having the cake, food, drink, decorations, ceremony site, and reception site in the package made wedding planning a breeze.
The food was excellent, as always at this restaurant. They have experience with remote weddings and our zoom screen perfectly framed the alter and the WiFi worked great.
When we unfortunately had to cut guests due to new restrictions, the ownership went above and beyond to request a waiver (not granted, but the effort was greatly appreciated).
It was a day not without incident (my mother’s dress was forgotten! I was late!) but every time I spoke with amanda she had everything under control and made me feel free to just enjoy the evening with my new husband.
I highly recommend a wedding at Bull Run. It’s sure to be safe, comfortable, and beautiful. I know that’s what I felt.
We had a great wedding at the bull run. It was one of the best days of our lives! We only have a couple things we truly wished would have been addressed so we could have given this venue a better rating. The staff at Bull Run was unprofessional on the day of our wedding, and we felt like we had been financially taken advantage of. We had tried to pay our final dues the night before (so we wouldn't have to worry on our day) but the cashier at the front couldn't figure out what we owed, so we left and had to do it on our day. We specifically told Amanda we didn't want liquor at our open bar, in the contract, in person, MULTIPLE times. Of course, after our ceremony we come inside and discover everyone has been drinking liquor at the open bar for the past hour and a half. $600 worth of our tab. We were extremely distressed and Amanda didn't apologize or even act surprised. Furthermore her staff gave us attitude when we informed them of their mistake. We were not reimbursed for this and it ate up our bar tab. We also told amanda in writing AND in person that we were doing a $1000 open bar. We told her to let us know when it reached that amount and we would decide then if we would increase the amount. She never approached us. At the end of the night we had a bar tab of $2000. We were angry and upset but we paid our bill because who wants to argue a tab at the end of their wedding night? Again- we had an extraordinary wedding with our family and friends, largely in part to the beautiful setting and delicious food. It was unfortunate that were taken advantage of by having our bar tab ran up twice as much, and the professionalism of the staff and management of the Bull Run were extremely lacking. Because of this, we would not be comfortable recommending this venue to friends or family.
Respectfully,
Mike and Morgan Volta
We had our wedding there this April and it was absolutely perfect. They were easy to work with throughout, and the the whole wedding ran incredibly smoothly. I had no stress at all! All the guests raved about the food!
We were getting married by a JP. We applied for a one-day JP license so a very close friend could marry us. This allowed us to be married outside on their Garden Patio. About 55 attended at 5pm. it was magical! The wedding planner was so attentive and always in a good mood. She had several meetings with us over the course of several months. Everything she promised came true.
The chef's cooking is exquisite! The restaurant even had a photographer to recommend who was fantastic. We were treated like kings and queens, from moment one to the last. We can't say enough about how the Bull Run made our wedding an elegant evening we will never forget. We were never rushed. We can't wait to go back!!
I loved that there were many different rooms all with their own flair as options.
