His real breakthrough, however, came when his career with the US Army took him to the Franco-Belgian border. Shane was stationed there for three years. During that time, he learned all he could about the Burgundian way of living. He also discovered the Liege waffle which, according to Shane, is the best of its kind in the world. The Burgundian way is about more than a fondness for delicious food, however. It contains, within it, an understanding that a meal is best enjoyed in the company of friends and family. To be a Burgundian means to be part of a community. It is that sense of belonging that Shane invites you to share in. His company is a celebration of great food and delightful people.
