If zero stars were possible, that’s exactly what this venue would get from us. Our wedding day took place in a truly beautiful setting, and if not for the endless issues with the staff, it would have been a perfect five-star experience. My wedding day should have been a joyful, worry-free celebration, and while my incredible coordinator and wedding party worked tirelessly to shield me from issues, the venue’s rude and unprofessional behavior added unnecessary stress and frustration for everyone involved.
Throughout the day, the venue staff acted with an astonishing lack of respect toward my coordinator, who was repeatedly interrupted and questioned about matters that had already been addressed. One of the most disruptive issues revolved around our dog (a well-behaved pug, who napped half the time he was there). He had been present at pre-event meetings, and nothing was ever mentioned about restrictions on him being there. Yet, on the day of the wedding, the venue staff fixated on him, even though he was only briefly there. The staff repeatedly pestered not only our coordinator but also our other vendors—including our photographer and bartender—to "confirm the plan" regarding the dog, over and over. My coordinator handled this graciously, keeping me blissfully unaware, but the venue’s disruption and hostility were completely unwarranted.
To make matters worse, the venue’s staff began to hound my coordinator about our departure time early in the evening, despite our clear timeline and previous agreements. They insisted on last call announcements as early as 9:30 p.m. and returned multiple times to “remind” everyone that we needed to be out by midnight, making us feel unwelcome long before the event was even close to ending.
There was no help or hospitality, either. Basic requests were met with resistance—when we needed additional trash bags, they refused to replace full ones and only begrudgingly provided a bag at the end of the night after the groom attempted to make peace. Simple requests, like unlocking the door or providing a bandaid were met with irritation, as though we were inconveniencing them.
On top of this unprofessional behavior, they withheld $100 of our deposit solely because of our dog, even though he’d been present at previous meetings without issue. Additionally, and most shockingly, one of the staff even insulted my sister-in-law, calling her an inappropriate name.
Had my coordinator and wedding party not gone above and beyond to handle all of this quietly, my day would have been overshadowed by these issues. But no couple should have to endure this type of treatment, and no one should ever have to rely on their wedding party to absorb such poor behavior from a venue. I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking a respectful, cooperative environment on their wedding day, no matter how beautiful the setting.
They were so accommodating and flexible. They really helped make my wedding budget friendly and still beautiful. I was able to bring in my own alcohol. The only difficulties is trying to email back and forth always goes through a generic system even after you sign on. The payment system they used was annoying because it never told me my remaining balance (but I know they are changing that now anyway so hope it’s better for others).
Our reception was everything we hoped for, Thank You Cadillac Room!
We had an amazing reception at the Cadillac Room; the ambiance was wonderful and the staff helped the evening run so smoothly. Everything was set up exactly like how I wanted it; my only very tiny complaint would be that they were slightly difficult to get a hold of at times (never near the wedding though!) and it seems they don’t use the phone, only email, which sometimes bugged me a little. But all in all I completely recommend this place! Just know you really only communicate via email and might not get a super quick response if it’s outside the 3 months before your date!
I wish I could give this venue a higher rating because it is beautiful and I loved my wedding and how everything turned out. So for the actual venue itself, I would rate it much higher. I love the repurposed hardwood floors, the bathrooms are nice and spacious, the garage rooms are a perfect way to break up the space for a big event like a wedding. Now comes the reason for such a low rating - the people and experience working with the venue. We were able to schedule a first meeting quickly despite COVID, and the event coordinator was friendly. We booked quickly after and once our deposit was made it was crickets. We would call and not hear back for weeks, eventually being told that they didn't have the staff to "man the phones" so everything went to the answering machine and no one checked that. When we did hear back, we would get information that was completely contradictory to what we had already been told, which created huge issues with other service providers, such as our rental company and caterer. The price of this place seems extremely reasonable until you start adding up the miscellaneous costs you incur because not much is included. DO NOT book this place if you are doing a wedding without a professional planner/coordinator. Just don't. If you do book here, get everything in writing down to the smallest detail so they cannot go back and tell you differently 4 days before your wedding. Lastly, our event was over a month ago and we are still waiting for a refund we were promised before our event even happened.
Our wedding reception was held here. The experience was awesome. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our reception ran very smoothly with no mishaps. We are so happy that we decided to go with the Cadillac Room. There was no better choice!
Cadillac room - amazing team to work with, beautiful blank canvas that takes on the character you give it. Flexible to outside vendors and very fairly priced venue. They were great throughout the planning process, were willing to meet in the evenings and gave me a layout to plan my seating chart with lots of time in advance. We received many compliments on our reception and we didn’t hire a professional decorator! Claire and her team went above and beyond and I’m so happy we got to work with them!
We had our reception at the Cadillac Room on June 23rd! It was the best decision! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and caring! They made us feel as if we were their top priority and not just “another couple”. We went with the naturalness of the wood floor in the main room and had a vintage-antique feel, but the space is so versatile, you could do anything!
