The newly renovated Charleston Visitors Center is home to the Camden Room, a venue that is perfect for hosting your special events. Situated in the north end of the historic "Deans Warehouse circa 1856," this charming space features stunning hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and original beams that beautifully complement the impressive 30' ceilings adorned with a copper roof and clerestory.
When you choose the Camden Room for your wedding, reception, welcome party, or bridal brunch, you not only get access to this elegant space but also to one of the adjacent elevated walkways and covered breezeways. Your evening rental ensures that you can enjoy the venue until 11pm, creating unforgettable memories.
To make your event even more convenient and enjoyable, we provide cocktail tables, reception tables, and chairs with seating for up to to 150 guests. Additionally, our newly expanded restrooms offer modern amenities for your comfort.

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago, and it was such a great venue! Seemingly unknown in the Charleston wedding world, but overall had everything we wanted in a venue, indoor/outdoor space, use any caterer/bar service you wanted, central downtown location, high ceilings/brick walls in the reception space, and a separate space for cocktail hour (the breezeway). Working with Randy was easy and the rental price was super affordable compared to other places in Charleston (plus came with tables/chairs). All our guests said how lovely the venue was and parking was easy for those who chose to drive. Would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a downtown Charleston venue!

Founder's Hall was a fantastic reception venue. It offered plenty of indoor space for 300 people during the July heat. The beautiful porch and glass windows allowed for more seating while making every guest feel part of the action. The fireplace was decorated with candles and lush greenery and made for a fantastic backdrop for photos. Overall the modern space has the ability to take on all styles such as the vintage flare of my own.

Phenomenal venue for our reception! We loved the indoor/outdoor setup and our guests did too! We got to have the dance floor outside which was so much fun. Courtney and the team was great to work with and we are so happy we chose Founders Hall!

This venue provides such a variety of options. You choose your own caterer. You may have an indoor or outdoor ceremony. It's just a beautiful place and their staff was so easy to work with.

Founders Hall offers a friendly staff that tries their best to be accommodating. They were the perfect fit to host our large destination wedding for 180 guests. The venue was large enough that we had separate spaces for our Ceremony (outdoor Lawn), Cocktail Hour (Patio & Porch), Dinner (Main Hall), and our Dance Party (Porch). We fit seating and buffet stations comfortably in the Hall for 180 but wouldn't recommend going much higher than that for guest count if you want them all indoors. I had grand ideas of taking advantage of the grounds and gardens for pictures but it's a lot of ground to cover. Other benefits of this venue are all day access to set up (but only 6 hours event time), separate lounge area and powder room as well as a private patio area, and full kitchen! You also get to utilize all the furniture they have on hand (which is a considerable amount of tables, chairs, and other furniture). Our budget stretched a lot further by using this location and it was lovely!

This was the perfect venue for our reception! Everyone enjoyed and utilized both the indoor and outdoor spaces as well as the screened in porch. The setting is beautiful, the staff is extremely helpful, going above and beyond to help everything come together. We were also able to use the space earlier in the day for the bridal party to get ready.

Founder's Hall is gorgeous inside and out! The venue comes equipped with tables and chairs- so no need to rent these!! The price is amazing as well! The staff was very helpful and we did not have any problems!

This location had everything we needed for our reception. Plenty of room, great acoustics, and a delightful mix of new and old. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. AND you get the place for the WHOLE DAY!!! We used the lovely courtyard for the bridal luncheon the day of!

I got married and had my reception at Founder’s Hall at Charlestowne Landing. The site is beautiful, unique, and the event staff is amazing. The entire building is “green” and has lots of great features like a beautiful wood burning fire place, courtyard, and screened in porch! I wouldn’t have been able to pull of the vision I had without this unique and affordable venue!
