From the first venue tour to the big day, every member of the staff made us feel so supported and cared for at The Candlewood Inn. Our event manager, Christian, was there with us every step of the way. He was so attentive answering any questions we had throughout the process, and his guidance was so appreciated. The office staff was organized and kind and made that side of the planning process run extremely smoothly. We were also blessed with an amazing team the day of the wedding, from event managers, bridal attendants, servers, and bar tenders. Some of them even jumped in the photo booth with me which was such a fun memory!
One of the most memorable things about our Candlewood Inn wedding was the attentiveness to every single detail the day of our wedding. Our bridal attendants were there for me helping carry (and clean!) my dress, making sure my husband and I had fresh drinks and food throughout the night, and being the absolute best hype girls we could have asked for! Our guests were greeted by the staff with smiles and champagne, and they were there to support our family and guests in having the best night ever. From the absolutely delicious food, to the stunning views, to the wonderful team, The Candlewood Inn is top-notch. We feel extremely lucky that we got to celebrate the biggest and best day of our lives at The Candlewood Inn!

THE PROPERTY:

THE PACKAGE:
Guided by our experienced Event Managers, Executive Chef, and in-house culinary team, your celebration includes a five-hour reception with a premium open bar, butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktail stations, and your choice of a plated dinner or dinner stations. A tiered wedding cake and coffee service are also included, along with Chiavari chairs, table linens, seating cards, and candlelit centerpieces featuring hurricane and votive candles.

We had multiple "unplanned snafus": my dress hook closure snapped off? they had sewing needle and thread. having very windy and cold day? they had no problem moving the ceremony indoors last minute! My bridal attendants, Brook and Isabel, were amazing and took care of me and the bridesmaids the moment we arrived! Haley the event manager kept things running and everyone complimented the food (the cake was REALLY good)! I did not want the day to end! Overall grateful for the staff here and highly recommend!

are incredible. Every person we interacted with on our wedding day was kind and professional. Delilah was our bridal attendant, and we haven't stopped talking about her since. She was there when my girls and I arrived at 9am, setting out breakfast and serving mimosas, and she was there when we left at 11pm. Delilah made sure we were fed and hydrated and adjusted the room temperature. She handed us champagne at the end of our ceremony and had a tray of hors d'oeuvres waiting for us when we got inside. She was simply the best. And the FOOD! The food was so good! I don't have a single complaint about the Candlewood. We had a perfect wedding.

e most stunning location for our wedding day and it only exceeded our expectations the day of. Aside from the amazing location, views, and food, the staff is beyond phenomenal. They allowed our day to run so smoothly with no stress at all. They took care of every single detail, placed every item I brought in exactly where it needed to go and handled all of the cleanup and packing at the end of the night. I didn't need to worry about a single thing. They truly allowed our wedding day to be the most fun, enjoyable and stress free night.

inside from the beautiful giant windows. It’s so elegant with the beautiful chandeliers too. The giant bar is also amazing. The way they take care of you not just as the bride and groom but the wedding party and guests also is out of this world. They had so much food for us when we arrived for our first look before our ceremony and delicious champagne. The bridal attendants Delilah and Brook took care of me and my husband all night! They made sure we had food and drinks and whatever else we needed the whole time. They helped me put my veil on and bustle/unbustle my dress throughout the night. They also helped my mother bustle her dress too. They were honestly so amazing I’m so grateful that they were there for me. They even packed up our cars and made sure everything was there at the end of the night so we didn’t have to worry about it. I can’t stay enough great things about them! Christian and Jessica made everything run so smoothly all day and took great care of our guests and even our guest who has celiacs disease. They made sure she had plenty of gluten free food and was well taken care of. Everyone still talks about how beautiful the place is, how amazing ALL the staff is including the wait staff, and how delicious the food was! Thank you chefs!! Even the cake was so good!! And you know how some wedding cakes aren’t the best. Christian helped us every step of the way and dealt with all my indecisiveness leading up to our big day. Our ceremony script didn’t go as planned due to a last minute officiant change and Christian right away tried to correct it and make us happy even though it wasn’t his fault. He is the best!!! So professional, helpful, and quick to respond to emails as well! I cannot recommend this venue enough. The venue is beautiful but the staff alone is what makes this place so amazing and worth it!! I would get married here again and again!

When some of my military friends had to cancel last minute due to an extension on some time at sea, Krista added up lighting to our reception and sent us home with two weeks worth of food. I mean, come on, isn’t she incredible??? The entire process of working with Candlewood was so effortless, from the initial tour, to choosing a date, to tasting all of the food, to setting up for the big day, and executing the most perfect wedding of my life, this is the venue of any bride and groom’s dreams. Ladies, planning was also SO easy. The Candlewood Inn handles EVERYTHING!! The food was fantastic, the Bridal Attendants made sure my husband and I were cared for the entire night, and the views were spectacular. I can’t say enough great things about this venue. If I could do it all over again, I would choose the Candlewood Inn every single time.

Krista, our event manager, was incredible. She guided us through the planning process with professionalism, warmth, and so much attention to detail. On the wedding day itself, Krista, Jessica, Delilah, and Carmen were a dream team. Each of them played a role in making sure everything ran smoothly, and I felt so taken care of from the moment I arrived. I never once had to worry about my dress, my veil, food, drinks, or anything else, they anticipated every need before I even realized it. Their professionalism, kindness, and thoughtfulness made me feel completely at ease so I could fully enjoy the day.
The staff as a whole worked together like a well-oiled machine. Even when little things popped up (as they always do at weddings), solutions were already in place before I even knew there had been a problem. Our guests noticed too; they kept commenting on how smooth everything was, how delicious the food and drinks were, and how stunning the venue looked.
The venue itself? Absolutely breathtaking. The Candlewood Inn’s location on the lake provided the most romantic, unforgettable backdrop for our ceremony and reception, with the boats on the water that day making our “I do” moment even more special. Between the views, the incredible food, and the flawless service, it was the perfect setting for the best day of our lives.
We are beyond grateful to Krista, Jessica, Delilah, Carmen, and the entire Candlewood team for giving us the wedding day of our dreams. If you are looking for a venue where the staff truly thinks of everything and the setting is unmatched, we cannot recommend The Candlewood Inn enough.

But what truly sets Candlewood apart is the team.
From start to finish, they were on top of everything. We didn’t hire a day-of coordinator or wedding planner, and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. Christian, in particular, was incredible—he seriously needs to write a book on how to run a wedding! He brought up things we never even thought to consider, and his calm, confident presence kept the day flowing perfectly. I can't imagine the day without him.
Jessica, our wedding assistant, was also amazing. She handled all the moving parts of the evening with such efficiency and grace. I’m sure there were a hundred things going on behind the scenes that I never even noticed—because she did them all so seamlessly. Knowing she was there gave me so much peace of mind.
Our bridal attendants were absolute superheroes. They made sure I ate, stayed hydrated, and had everything I needed throughout the day. I felt like a real-life princess thanks to their attentiveness and care.
And the food... wow. Our guests were raving about it all night and are still talking about it a month later. Multiple people told me the chef should open a restaurant because everything was so, so delicious. My biggest tip: upgrade to get both the mac & cheese bar and the spud bar. These were the most talked-about elements of the night, and thankfully I got to enjoy both—I’ve been dreaming about that mac & cheese ever since!
Dinner was phenomenal, the drinks were fantastic, and the Martini bar was a huge hit. Huge thanks again to Christian for special ordering blue cheese olives for us—my husband and I are obsessed with blue cheese martinis, and that extra effort made us feel so taken care of.

rk, helping us unload the car and showing us where to go. We didn’t have to lift a finger. Delilah and Brook were my bridal attendants, who always made sure I had food, a drink, or someone to hold my dress. I never had an empty glass and always had plates of food while we were getting ready as well as during the evening. Just before I walked out, I was alone in the bridal suite and the ladies made me feel at ease and helped me forget I was nervous. Krista, the event coordinator, was and has been amazing throughout the whole planning process. She makes you feel so welcome and comfortable as a busy bride. She answered all my emails and was very attentive to detail. The whole day ran so smoothly because of her and the event manager, Jessica. Jessica made sure we had a mini rehearsal prior to the ceremony so all my girls felt better about where to stand and how to walk to the aisle. The weather forecast was not looking great leading up to the wedding day and it was hit or miss if the rain was going to last until the ceremony. The Candlewood handled the weather great and I never once was bothered about the forecast while getting ready. Despite being a gray day, the rain held out and the ceremony was outside in front of the beautiful lake without a hitch! The food was delicious and many of my guests have told me that it was outstanding, some of the best they’ve had. I have a dietary restriction and the chef worked with me and everyone was very cognizant, making sure I had food I could eat. We had a few no shows and the entrees that weren’t eaten, were packed up for us, as well as appetizers and desserts for us to take home. My husband and I get to savor the food a little bit longer. All in all, it was the most perfect day and Candlewood made the process so easy and seamless. I wish I could do the day all over again just to go back!

I kept telling the bridal assistants, Brooke and Delilah, how calm and at ease I felt whenever it was just the three of us moving between spaces for First Look, the ceremony, etc. I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without them. They kept me grounded through the family chaos and felt like two angels looking after me all day, making sure I was safe, hydrated, and well-fed.
The food was another highlight—absolutely delicious and abundant. I especially appreciated that the team had trays of food from cocktail hour waiting for us in the bridal suite so we could have a private moment to enjoy all the food before mingling with our guests. Our drinks were also replenished the entire night. The staff doesn’t just take care of the guests—they go out of their way to take extra care of the couple, which felt incredibly special. We received so many compliments from our guests during and after the wedding about how impressed they were with both the food and the exceptional service.
Overall, we’re beyond happy with how our wedding day turned out and so grateful to The Candlewood Inn for making it such a beautiful, stress-free experience.

The staff went above and beyond in every possible way. From our first tour to our wedding day they were professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our day flawless. They listened carefully to our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and executed every detail with care and precision. We never once felt stressed, because we knew we were in the hands of experts who truly cared.
The event coordinator was absolutely amazing. The setup crew worked to ensure everything was perfect, and the catering and bar staff were warm, and attentive. So many of our guests commented not only on the beauty of the venue but also on how kind and welcoming the staff were throughout the day.
To the bridal attendants who helped me throughout the day you both were amazing. I never felt stressed once and you both were so kind. My family , husband , mother in law and bridal party were all so impressed and thankful.

s incredible to work with. Christian and team were so helpful, responsive, accommodating, and kind. There is only 1 event per day, so you get the full focus of the Candlewood team. We also booked the on location bridal suite for the girls to get ready in the morning of the wedding. The space was perfect, and they provided us with so much food. And speaking of the food, it was incredible! Our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the food, service, and overall beauty at Candlewood. We had several of them tell us that the 2+ hour drive to our wedding was 100% worth it, which is the highest praise I could give!

I have received nothing but compliments from my guests about how smooth the entire afternoon and evening went; anything they needed was provided to them promptly by the venue staff. Krista, the bridal attendants, and everyone else were so impressive! My husband and I felt so taken care of throughout the whole day, and could not have asked for a better wedding day! The cocktail hour and dinner food were excellent, our cake was delicious, and our signature drinks were made perfectly all night long! seamless. Krista was incredibly responsive and helped answer any and every question we had. Our wedding felt customized to us in the best way possible. They were so flexible and accommodated some special requests to make sure our wedding was exactly as we wanted it! On the day of Brook and Delilah were with us every step of the way and made us feel so special and taken care of. Some times you hear you won't eat or drink at your own wedding ... well not on their watch!! The food was out of this world, I recommend the sushi station and exit cookie, our guests are still talking to us about how great the food was! You truly cannot beat the views at this iconic venue. ning of the planning process they were clear with all information needed, dates for planning/deadlines and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the way they did the group tasting as it allowed us to see the spaced with an event happening along with tasting the food, which is delicious. We loved the food on our day from the passed apps, to the stations and entrees and our guests agreed - we got SO many compliments on the food. We were happy with working with Candlewood Inn but once our wedding day actually came around we were blown away. From the second we walked into the venue the Krista and our bridal attendants were two steps ahead of us doing everything we needed to be comfortable and fully enjoy ourselves. We were never without a drink in our hands and they made sure we had all the food we needed. They kept track of my bouquet and helped me with my dress - even fixing/pinning my bustle when it broke! They wrangled our large bridal party and had the ceremony run so smoothly. I could go on and on about how amazing the staff was. I could not recommend Candlewood Inn enough!

xcited to get married there. Then, when we met with Christian, he made us feel calm, excited, and ready for our big day. Two days before, we dropped off all of our decor and I told him I was a little stressed. He took extra care to walk us through the day and I left calm and excited.
On our wedding day, we had two bridal attendants, they were AMAZING. I truly felt like a queen all night long. They greeted us off the bus, offered champagne and snacks in the bridal suite, would not let me walk without picking up my dress to keep it clean, held my bouquet, fixed my hair. All night, they made sure we had food and drinks. They went above and beyond. We felt that each and every one of the staff were just so genuinely excited for us and it made us very happy. I could not imagine a better day. I had many guests come up to me and tell me that it was the best wedding they have ever been to! And the food and the cake were top notch!
I will be telling everyone about the beautiful venue and the wonderful staff for the rest of our lives.
If you have the chance to get married here, DO IT. You will not be disappointed.
