We can't recommend The Cape Club enough! From start to finish it was an incredible experience. Shy Ann is the BEST of the best!! She literally makes sure everything is perfect while also keeping everyone calm and happy (and fed lol).
The venue is absolutely beautiful! There's so much natural light which we loved. The rotunda dance floor is so unique fully surrounded by windows so if guests go onto the deck they still feel like they are part of the dance floor. The food was incredible and so many guests told us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We had a raw bar at cocktail hour and I've never seen so much seafood in my life - it was truly amazing and the amount of food was insane!
The thing I LOVED is that every detail can be customized and Shy Ann will find a way to make it happen.
The on site hotels were the icing on the cake for us. Being able to walk back to the hotels after the best night of our lives to continue the party with all of our friends and family was amazing. We had a room block and had all of the rooms for our wedding so we truly felt like we were the only ones there.
If you are thinking about booking The Cape Club for your wedding, do it!!! Our day was perfect from start to finish. Shy Ann made sure everything flowed seamlessly and there was zero stress. We are forever grateful.

On the day of, she kept everything running exactly on schedule, handled the small decisions we didn’t need to be involved in, and checked in at the right moments so we could stay present with our guests. Operationally, the venue team was professional and attentive. My fiancée and I were genuinely excited to book our wedding at The Cape Club. We toured the property, loved the venue, and were ready to move forward.
Unfortunately, the horrible ...
communication and customer service completely changed our opinion.
Once we decided we wanted to book, getting in touch with anyone became nearly impossible. We sent multiple emails, made multiple phone calls, and left voicemails over the course of several weeks because we were simply trying to receive our contract and submit our deposit. We weren't asking for special treatment or negotiating pricing. We were trying to give them our business, yet we felt like a nuisance instead of prospective clients.
During that time, we received little to no communication about where things stood. By the time someone finally responded, we were told that the hotel room block, which had been one of the primary reasons we chose The Cape Club, had been reduced to only a handful of rooms. Had someone simply acknowledged our emails or returned one of our calls, we would have had the opportunity to make an informed decision before everything changed.
We completely understand that venues have policies and that wedding season is busy. This review isn't about those policies. It's about customer service. We expected timely communication from a venue we were prepared to entrust with one of the biggest days of our lives. Instead, we were left chasing down responses while actively trying to become paying clients.
It's disappointing because the venue itself is beautiful, but our experience left us feeling ignored and unimportant at a time when we were ready to commit tens of thousands of dollars. We ultimately will look for another venue because we lost confidence in The Cape Club's communication and customer service.

The bridal suite is both large and gorgeous, providing ample space for our bridal party and allowing our stylists to work with ease. Shy Ann, the club coordinator, was incredible—her support in prepping and executing every detail of our day was invaluable.

was absolutely stunning in the main room. Shy Ann was very attentive all day, got all my bridesmaids Starbucks and ran out the door when we were leaving to make sure I sprayed my veil with perfume before heading to the church. Highly recommend the cape club to anyone looking. You won’t regret it.

urse and unique reception room with a rotunda dance floor and deck that allowed guests to look in. We are SO HAPPY we chose The Cape Club for our special day and we are very appreciative of the staff who did an amazing job carrying out our vision and the logistics with our larger wedding (just under 180 guests).
During our planning there was a change in managers at the club that initially left us worried but ended up being the BEST thing! When they were in the middle of changing hands, The Cape Club of Sharon willingly stepped in and kept things moving along accordingly. Their manager, Bill, and their venue coordinator, Kelly, were extremely accommodating in guiding this transition and were very transparent with the whole process. Shy Ann was hired in Falmouth as the new venue coordinator and she already had a background both working at the Cape Club along with working in the wedding industry as a wedding planner. She, along with the new GM David, are AMAZING and were very accommodating and responsive throughout the remainder of the wedding planning process. This included frequent emails and in-person meetings but also chats surrounding the progress of construction that was happening at the club.
Our actual wedding day could not have been more perfect and well thought out! Shy Ann created a timeline herself with all the details to keep everything moving along. Her and her team carried out the vision with decor and handled other vendors that were in/out seamlessly. They were ready even before the start of cocktail hour with cocktails and tubs of beers ready to go to keep that initial rush off the bus at a minimum. Our guests raved about the passed hors d'oeuvres that staff continually transported outside to serve our guests. Shy Ann and her team did a great job with transitioning guests into reception and getting introductions, first dance, and parent dances all started. We loved our meals - chicken piccata, tenderloin with baked stuffed lobster, and stuffed eggplant rollatini. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly! To get our dancefloor started, Shy Ann provided a great suggestion with having our BM & MOH hand out our foam lightsabers to the first dancefloor song which got everyone on their feet! Shy Ann and her team stayed until the very end of the night - checking in throughout dinner and after to see if me, my husband or my family needed anything.
Overall, we are SO glad we chose The Cape Club to carry out our special day! We still have guests raving about our wedding day!!!

From the beautiful (and very large) bridal suite, cocktail hour room, and Reception venue, the place was gorgeous! We call this the hidden gem of Wedding venues! My husband and I visited many venues when deciding where to host our reception, and each new venue we visited kept bringing us back to The Cape Club as our perfect match. My bridal entourage (including my hair/makeup team) could not get over how beautiful and spacious the bridal suite was. We also loved the separate cocktail hour room, that was closed off after cocktail hour ended, so guests would all be together in the reception area. Our guests raved about how beautiful the reception room was, pointing out the chandelier's, unique dance floor area, and spacious wrap around deck. This made a great spot for our guests to enjoy some sunset photos, fresh air and our provided cigar bar. What also stood out to our guests, was how amazing the food was. We still have guests raving about their meals!
Minus the venue itself being so gorgeous, we also had the pleasure of working with Mary Lunn who helped organize everything perfectly. She arrived onsite first thing in the morning to greet myself and my bridal party, and checked in with us throughout the morning making sure we had everything we needed. While we got ready, she helped set up the most beautiful reception, and provided everything we requested. The whole night went so smoothly, my husband and I were amazed. She even went above and beyond to make sure everyone's dinner choices were correct, and was very attentive throughout the whole evening. The next day, she greeted us in the morning, and had everything from our Wedding Reception organized and made for such an easy pick up. She was very efficient, and we cannot thank Mary enough for her help, in making our special day perfect! We highly recommend this venue for anyone thinking of getting married down at the Cape, and we can't wait to go back and visit again next year!

enue, but throughout the whole process, Wendy was able to answer all the questions we had and met with us on site each time we stopped in to visit (even when it was last minute!). When it rained on our big day and we had to change our outdoor ceremony plans, The Cape Club team worked diligently to make sure our indoor ceremony was just as beautiful. The food was amazing!!! Six months prior to the big day, at our tasting, we met with the chef who walked us through all of our options and made it clear he would create our wedding dinner however we envisioned it. For the first course, we opted for clam chowder instead of a salad and I am still getting comments on how delicious it was! Thank you to everyone at The Cape Club, especially Wendy, Ami, Corey, and Kelsey. You truly made our wedding day the best day of our lives!

The design and look of the Cape Club truly transforms into whatever you are envisioning. From a nautical cape cod affair or to the glamorous silver & golds wedding we had, the venue is your canvas to transform.

In the days following our wedding, guests continue to tell us 'This was the best reception we have ever been to!' They have also given us very positive reviews on the food that was served as well (Filet Mignon and Free Range Chicken)
We would recommended working with this venue to anyone in a heart beat!

detail was meticulously executed and she was always calm cool and collected. Nothing rattled Ami and it helps lower the stress on the bride and groom. She was able to help us plan and recommend vendors who are local and easy to work with, which was great because we were planning from another state. One thing that we enjoyed about the Cape Club was the ability to use the bride and groom suites on property to get ready before our ceremony. If you are looking for a classically beautiful venue then the Cape Club is for you. The amazing rotunda with outside balcony will be a great spot that any guest will want to hang out and take great sunset pictures. We loved every aspect of the venue, the food was amazing and Ami was great at helping us tie up the lose ends.

Note: Dessert and coffee are served in a separate room than the reception. A lot of my guests didn't hear the announcement that cake was in a separate room, so they missed it, so make sure your DJ/band annouces it more than once

She guided us through the process with her expertise and enthusiasm, paying attention to every detail so that we could enjoy ourselves as guests and ensured that our wedding was exactly as we wanted. Every recommendation she made was spot on. We wouldn't have changed a thing!
We had a small wedding ceremony with champagne and cupcakes on a Friday afternoon and Christine popped the champagne at the perfect moment at the conclusion of our nuptials. On the Saturday evening we had a cocktail party for 135 people which was truly outstanding. The bar staff was professional and attentive, the view of the sunset off the deck was spectacular, the warm and cozy cocktail room with fireplace was bustling, and we could go on and on! Our guests came from all around the world and were truly impressed.
Everyone at Ballymeade took exceptional care of us and clearly enjoys working there and making guests happy. Even, the Club Manager, Mark, made sure we got the perfect tee time for our guests to enjoy 18 holes!
We had the most perfect wedding celebration and I would highly recommend hosting your wedding or any special event at Ballymeade Country Club.

Working with Christine, their on-site coordinator, was such a pleasure! Her years of experience came through in her calming manner and wonderful suggestions. Pre-ceremony, my bridesmaids and I finished getting ready in their bridal suite (an adorable space with a changing area, vintage vanity, and private couches). Meanwhile, the groomsmen and my husband were enjoying a round of pool in the men's locker room. We were thrilled to have the entire second floor of the clubhouse for our event. We could not be more pleased with our decision to have our wedding at Ballymeade Country Club and highly recommend them to other Cape Cod brides!

s her venue well, and is able to give suggestions that make the space work optimally. Our wedding day was amazing, and we had a great time! The dance floor was a little small, but we had a very lively group and were close to Ballymeade's maximum capacity, so it's not a surprise. Our caterer was really behind at serving which caused us to fall behind our timeline and shortened our dancing which was a bit of a bummer, but hardly anyone noticed. We had a fantastic wedding, and this is certainly a great spot, with a very helpful on site manager.

I knew as soon as I met her that I could trust her with everything, and I am a control freak! Christine made sure that every detail, guest, myself and my husband were well taken care of and made our special day absolutely perfect. The Ballymeade was also the best value, more of a steal, in terms of wedding budgeting and finding a gorgeous site. If you are looking for a beautiful, private, elegant and assuredly efficient location for your wedding, then you have to check the Ballymeade Country Club. You will be in awe of the beautiful country club grounds, the elegance of the venue rooms, and the incredible dedication that Christine shows to each and every bride. You will LOVE It! I, my husband, our families and our guests were certainly impressed and had nothing but amazing things to say about it. perfect and exactly what I had envisioned. My favorite thing about Ballymeade is that there are 3 separate spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Most places I visited had 1 room for all 3. Our guests got to move from place to place but only had to walk down the hall! Ballymeade was extremely accommodating to my abundant questions and all of my decorating wishes and Christine was an amazing coordinator. I would highly recommend Ballymeade to any future bride!

smoothly and Christine always got back to me quickly with any questions. The day of, they really went above and beyond. We got lucky and the weather was perfect, and Christine made sure we had drinks, golf carts, and a couple of golf clubs for photos on the course. They helped us box up all the leftovers and everything we had brought (flip flop basket, vases, etc) and had everything in my parents’ car at the end of the night. I can’t say enough good things about Ballymeade. Highly, highly recommend.
