Even when things went wrong on the wedding day with our vendors (e.g., our wedding cake was missing!), Vanessa and her staff did everything in their power to solve the problem. Vanessa was even ready to send her staff to the store to buy us a cake!! When our cake did eventually arrived, it wasn't in the best condition, and Vanessa handled it and spoke to the vendor directly to get it fixed (and we found out all about it AFTER the problem was completely solved). I couldn't be more thankful for Vanessa!! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The outdoor ceremony is the PERFECT spot to get married, we loved the setup so much. The reception space was also stunning. Vanessa was so helpful in picking out the linens and napkin colors too! The bridal suite was the perfect place to get ready in the morning. We got there at 8am and spent the whole day there. The room is the perfect size - we had more than enough room for 10 adults and 2 kids. We were provided with mimosas and were able to order food from the kitchen! The groomsmen got ready at our hotel, but had a spot for them to take "getting ready" pictures too! I also can't rave enough about the food. We've gotten so many compliments about the appetizers and meals. The bartenders were also great & we loved our signature cocktails! AND Sherly is the absolute BEST. She was there ready to hold my dress, had a fan, and got me anything I could possible need. She drove us on the golf cart to take pictures and she brought us appetizers and drinks while we were taking a moment in the bridal suite together after the ceremony. She was a blessing to have on the wedding day. I can't emphasize enough how this was the best venue for our wedding. I would recommend anyone to get married here!!

right in. As we got closer to wedding day, Vanessa was very quick to answer any questions sent her way. Whatever we wanted, they made it happen. The cocktail hour on the grand patio was awesome and the setup inside for reception was exactly how we envisioned. All the staff there are great. On the day of the wedding Sherly was amazing, helping with anything we needed from food/drink service to photo assistant! Everyone had a great evening and we are so happy with how it turned out!

if you want an outdoor ceremony. The most upsetting part of our day was the complete disregard for our ceremony. During our tour, we were explicitly assured that golfers would be held from the hole directly behind the ceremony site. This was a key factor in our decision to book the venue. Despite that clear assurance, only minutes into our ceremony a group teed off directly behind the pergola—fully visible and audible to us and our guests. Even worse, a golf ball flew over and landed less than six feet from our officiant. Not only was this genuinely a scary safety issue, it was incredibly distracting and upsetting. The venue failed to uphold their commitment, and it had a significant negative impact on a moment that was very special to us. Although the ceremony was the biggest disappointment, unfortunately it wasn’t the only issue that day. There were two issues regarding cleanliness in the bathroom/bridal suite. One of my bridesmaids hung her dress up in the bathroom while we were getting ready and when she took it off there was a large gel-like substance stained on her dress and we were unable to get it off. My dress also became dirty just from the time spent getting ready in the bridal suite. There was very visible dirt around the border of my dress’ train, before leaving the bridal suite. It is understandable that no floor is going to be pristinely clean, but the level of dirt was significant and noticeable. Finally, I had asked that my sober and pregnant guests have a non alcoholic beverage placed at their seat for toasting because I wanted everyone to feel included. I was assured this was no problem when discussing the reception with the Cape Club, only to find out that alcoholic champagne had been placed at all of their seats. We reached out to the Cape Club after the wedding to address these issues, and I was upset to see them respond with such little empathy or accountability. While they acknowledged the substandard cleanliness and overlooked details, their comments regarding the golfing situation were infuriating. They stated that they “do their best to limit play near the ceremony but do not guarantee full stoppage of play during weddings,” which contradicts what we were told during our tour. On top of that, it was clearly an organized children’s golf event taking place during our ceremony. This means not only did they fail to limit play, but they knowingly scheduled a children’s event at the same time as our ceremony. Their email also included the statement that “there has never been an issue with a golf ball landing near the ceremony site,” an astonishingly unprofessional thing to say to clients who did have a golf ball land less than six feet from their officiant. We replied to their email nearly two months ago and have not received any further response. While there are positive aspects to hosting a wedding at the Cape Club, I cannot recommend this venue for anyone planning an outdoor ceremony. You should expect golfers to tee off behind you as you say your vows, and the Cape Club has made it clear that they will take no accountability for this and that this is acceptable to occur during a wedding ceremony. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability or interest in making things right is the reason for this 2 star review.

ly - We fell in love with the back window wall where you could look out to see the golf course which of course, was beautiful itself. Given it was the tail end of spring, we opted for an indoor ceremony to avoid any rain (it down poured so we luckily made the right decision haha). The chandeliers, natural light from the windows, and dark wood finishes tied together really nicely for a timeliness and classic feel. The staff converted the ceremony into a lovely reception space where we felt there was ample room for our ~130 guests. We paid a bit extra to have an outdoor cocktail hour under the covered patio. This was so worth it  as we thought everyone really enjoyed getting some fresh air before a night of dancing. Shoutout to all the event managers! We truly felt so taken care of from super early in the morning in the bridal suite to the very end of the night departing the club. All the workers are so dedicated which made us feel beyond special. We never felt stressed because there was always someone to help out with things like steaming my dress (when me and my wedding party had no idea how to do this), making sure my dress didn’t drag on the course during pictures, providing snacks/lunch, setting up the decorations/details, and constantly checking in to see if there was anything we needed. Everyone at The Cape Club of Sharon was truly a pleasure to work with. The food was delicious and our wedding tasting was even a blast! Aside from how well everything went the day of our wedding, we really do commend the team for how well they helped us leading up to the wedding and after. The communication was 10/10. After the wedding, we weren’t rushed to take all our things (mostly because there wasn’t an event following ours) which we thought was a nice touch to the service. We really got to take it all in and not worry about rushing off the property with all our things. All in all, we can’t recommend The Cape Club of Sharon enough. Our wedding was perfect because we could trust the team there to take care of putting all the details together with such ease and grace. We’ll forever be grateful xx. 

us on track leading up to the day. Day of, Kelly was there to greet me first thing in morning while I got ready in the beautiful bridal suite. We had the pleasure of having Shirley as our bridal assistant and she fully stole the show. Not only was she so fun to be around and loved by my bridal party but she was right there at my side anytime I needed her to fluff my dress or take us to another photo location. Darlene helped us keep the flow of the wedding moving smoothly. All of our guest raved about how delicious the food was and how friendly all the catering staff were. We truly could not have picked a better venue and hope many of our friends and family decide to get married there!

The setting was stunning, creating a beautiful backdrop that made our ceremony and reception feel magical. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything from the décor to the food was simply amazing. We had the short rib, butternut squash ravioli, and chicken picatta as the meals and all of our guests told us about how delicious everything was! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how wonderful the staff, food, and venue was. It was truly the wedding of our dreams, and we’re so grateful to the team for making it all happen. Julie, Kelly, and Sherly made sure we had the perfect day and anything we asked for was taken care of immediately! Sherly, my bridal attendant for the day, was always one step ahead of me on whatever I needed! I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an unforgettable and perfect wedding day!

ly were vital every step on the way for us. Communication was fantastic from day one, and they were vital the day of the wedding. I had a few unique “asks”, and they were always receptive and made it happen. They were also so patient with any questions I had. The entire staff at the club was amazing. The day of bridal coordinator, Sherly, made the day run so smoothly for me, as the bride. She was always one step ahead anticipating my needs. Darlene, the bartenders, the servers- even guests noticed that everyone went above and beyond. Guests also raved about the food, many people said it was the best wedding food they have had. We used the bridal suite and it was perfect for getting ready. My girls loved it, and hair/makeup said it was the best set up they have ever seen. In all, I wouldn’t change a thing. The venue and staff way exceeded our expectations. It was the most beautiful day, and the most beautiful place.

team there! Whenever I had a question during the planning process (trust me - I had a million), they answered me in a timely manner. Hurricane Lee was making it difficult to know if our ceremony should be outdoors or indoors, so it was great being able to have the indoor space as a backup. We also didn’t have to decide until the morning of the wedding, which was awesome. We were able to do it outdoors, but the indoor space is honestly just as beautiful! We had the cocktail hour on the patio which was great because it’s covered, so even if it rained it would have been fine. We paid extra to have the patio space for the entire evening which we loved! Guests who didn’t want to spend the entire time on the dance floor had that space to hang out. The food was SO GOOD (we had the salmon, short rib, and gnocchi - all were amazing!) Sundae bar was a fun touch too! We loved our experience with the Cape Club!

ond to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. Our coordinator Julie was amazing. She went over every detail with us and ensured she knew our vision and made it a reality. The night before we had table adjustments, and Julie made it effortless. With all the decor and small details we had, we were worried it was not going to come together as we envisioned, but The Cape Club team made it happen! We had our ceremony outside in the beautiful garden space and our reception in the ballroom. The spaces were beautiful, but on wedding day they were transformed and elevated beautifully. Our guests absolutely love the food, from cocktail hour, dinner to desert. We are thankful for the huge dance floor because us and our guests were dancing all night! A beautiful venue inside and out. We rented the Grand Patio which was a huge hit with our guests. Even the jitney service was useful to bring our guests from the parking lot to the entrance. The Cape Club really has it all and goes above and beyond to make sure all the details are accounted for. We are so glad we chose the Cape Club of Sharon for our wedding!
