What an absolute dream!!! We loved every second of working with the team at The Captains Club! Kerri and Madelyn made everything absolutely perfect for us. From timeline advice and expert opinions to their amazing attitudes and positivity, they made the entire planning process and wedding day feel completely flawless. The only thing we couldn’t control was the weather, but even with that, the staff was so helpful in trying to make everything work. When we ultimately had to make the last-second decision to move everything inside, they were incredibly flexible and made the transition as seamless as possible. All of our guests are still raving about how beautiful the grounds are, and all of the updates to the building in recent years really shine! The on-site bridal suite was perfect, the food was amazing, and the drinks were amazing. Honestly, I don’t even have enough words to describe how perfect every single detail was! My wedding day is a day I will never forget, and having The Captains Club as our venue allowed me to truly enjoy it without stressing about everything behind the scenes. I knew I was in good hands and that everything would be handled, and that meant the world to me. We could not have asked for a better venue or a better team to make our wedding day so special!!! 🤍

They answered any questions or concerns that we had and made sure everything was how we were envisioning it. They are very organized and quick to respond to emails. Day of the wedding Lexi and the rest of the staff were super helpful and everything went seamlessly! Our ceremony took place outside on the rooftop, it was spacious and looked so beautiful. We had a small issue with our arch due to the wind and Kerri and Lexi were so sweet to jump in and fix it to make our ceremony perfect. We had multiple guests with food allergies and The Captain’s Club was able to accommodate them with no issues. We added on the patio package for our reception and absolutely loved it! It gave us and guests more space to visit and enjoy the night. I did hear from guests that they like the option of having the bar out on the patio as well during cocktail hour so it wasn’t crowded or there wasn’t a long wait to get drinks. We heard so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the food! Everything turned out so wonderful, we can’t thank them enough for everything! We are so happy that we decided on The Captain’s Club!!🤍

e way to hold events but if you and your guests are willing to take the risk, Captain's Club should be your venue. They had the space, the masks, and the flexibility to set my mind at ease. Safety was my number one concern and Captain's Club nailed it. Technical Review: Menu- my husband and I are vegetarians and there were so many options for us and our meat-eating guests. The chef even proposed a meatless roast carving station for us! So considerate. They were very conscientious of the food allergies of our guests as well. Oh, and everything was delicious! Ceremony- Allison and her team were so professional and everything was organized and perfect. Packages- They have many flexible wedding/reception packages that take the stress of planning off your shoulders. They work directly with Special Occasions for all decorations as well. Choosing the perfect linens couldn't have been easier for me and they deliver right to the venue. Overall, Captain's Club has a wonderful team who were a dream to work with!

Everyone was very helpful throughout the planning stages and although our coordinator changed a couple times due to people moving around, Taylor ended up working with us and she was awesome and so helpful! Also, since we were planning during Covid, they were very informative about regulations and there were always backup plans. Luckily, things opened up and we were able to have the wedding of our dreams! I only have great things to say about this venue!!

Our wedding was July 2021, after postponing due to COVID. Our original coordinator switched jobs prior to our wedding so we were placed with Allison. We loved her and she made us f...

eel so at ease and prepared. She was in constant contact and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Well fast forward to the night of our rehearsal dinner, and there is no Allison. I was told she had an emergency, which I completely understand happening but was still in a panic. I can't even tell you the name of the lady that filled her position but she informed us that Allison would be there the next day on our actual wedding. To my surprise, no Allison on our wedding day either. The lady that was supposed to be covering for her was only seen once before I walked down the isle. She didn't place my seating chart sign where Allison and I agreed on, which made many of my guest miss seeing it and had people sitting at wrong tables and pulling chairs which left some single guests at tables alone. The drinks were weak. I was disappointed after spending so much for the bar package. All of my guests complained about the weak drinks and I even got a stomach ache from so much juice being used to make the drinks. I understand things come up, but I felt like my wedding day was very unorganized which was sad after planning this for 2 years.

and restaurant, people could come in and out, and there was an individual that was not a guest of our wedding that was loitering around the area and getting drinks from our bar. My mother and our photographer had to kick him out. Other than that one hiccup, everything went smoothly!

We chose the Captain’s Club as our wedding venue for a million reasons, most of all, the convenience of having a beautiful location with a single contact for the food, bar, linens,...

and venue. I would make that decision again in a heartbeat. PROS: Food, Bar, Linens, Tables, Chairs, and Tableware all handled by an on-site coordinator. Easy access to the venue for walk-throughs. Friendly and accommodating staff. Worked around allergies. Great communication. Free on-site parking with no time limit so your guests can leave their vehicles overnight without worrying about having to pick them up by a specific time the next day. Bridal suite for getting dressed. Multiple beautiful ceremony locations to choose from. CONS: Public venue so other people can use the venue and golf course during your visit – we had another wedding on-site during our rehearsal and high school homecoming students during our wedding. The venue switched coordinators multiple times before our wedding – though they did a decent job of transitioning so we didn’t have to repeat too many conversations, it was still a little nerve-wracking.

we wanted in a venue... space for 200+ people, patio space, string lights, and the most important: THE FOOD! Our guests could not stop ranting and raving about how delicious our food was. The 5 cheese mac and cheese was a huge hit. Although we had perfect weather, it was super nice to have a backup plan for inclement weather. I also loved that hotels (with shuttle service) is only an 8 minute drive. The staff was super helpful at all times! I would recommend the Captain's Club over and over again!!!

Alexandra helping us plan and she was wonderful! I had nothing to worry about. I also loved that they offered a tasting event so my husband and I could try out food for our reception. They also pointed us to great vendors. We also got some BEAUTIFUL pictures at the site as well! I would recommend The Captain's Club to anyone!

ding Kerri and Alex were SO helpful during the rehearsal dinner and the day of. Being the bride can be stressful but it was a relief knowing everything was taken care of because these ladies are pros at their jobs. Also, the food at Captains Club is amazing!! We still have guests texting us saying how good it was! It was also nice having the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all on site, everything went smoothly!

Having great food for our guests was a big concern to my husband and I when we were deciding on a venue. iently use the patio with strings lights and tables throughout the night during the reception! Alexandra was incredible to work with, as was the entire Captain's Club staff. They will literally go out of their way to help you, and that did not go unnoticed. My guests are still complimenting both the beautiful venue and it's staff, a few months later! I would recommend the Captain's Club to anyone!!

amazing with her guidance, ideas, and patience with all of our many questions. Throughout the days leading up to our reception and the day of, the staff was absolutely wonderful and so helpful!! It has almost been four months since our wedding and we are still getting family and friends who tell us that our reception was beautiful and that it was one of their favorite places!! You cannot go wrong with celebrating your wedding at The Captain's Club!!
