Your expertise and patience throughout the entire planning process was amazing. Beyond the culinary delights, we deeply appreciate the immense amount of time and effort you invested in coordinating all the many rentals, from furniture and equipment to linens and all the little things that went into making the entire event so cohesive and beautiful. Everything came together like an incredible masterpiece, and the presentation of the food was just as beautiful, as the food itself was delicious. The appetizers were fabulous, the signature drinks were fantastic, and the service was professional and seamless. It was no surprise to Katie and Jon that TCO delivered such perfection; Katie had attended many events you catered over the years and always knew The Catering Outfit was who she wanted for her own wedding. iews. But they were beyond great! I can not think of a single thing we would change, from the Welcome Reception to the Cocktail Hour after the ceremony to the Dinner - all impeccable. Food was delicious and service was fabulous. I won't lie, it wasn't cheap - but it was truly worth every penny. We loved our event manager, Leah - she was a true delight to work with. There was never anything the day of that she or the event captains couldn't and didn't do. We will always be thankful to TCO and their staff for helping us give our daughter the wedding of her dreams!

and it was SO GOOD. They even worked with us to integrate syrup made from blackberries my father in law grew into our cocktails, which was such a fun touch at our event. Charlottesville area their quote came out higher than our other vendors in the area but was also the most honest/realistic of the quotes. All the other caterers in the area left off important rental items such as “ silverware” and “the things needed to actually cook the meal you want”. We had some surprises at the end but it was less than what it would have been with the other caterers.

They handled all of the dietary restrictions for our guests without any issue and made sure every detail and request was catered to. The food and service the day of was amazing - our guests keep saying how impressed they were and how great the food was. I highly recommend TCO.

Courtney brought my crazy ideas to life like espresso martini shooters, different signature cocktails for cocktail hour & dinner and mini ice creams for dessert to name a few. She was very diligent and made sure I had my favorite drink in hand too. She managed my expectations with my parents and had great knowledge about the venue. Her staff was professional and timely! We felt her recommendations were on point and the best recommendations financially as well. Could not recommend them enough!!

zed, etc. Everything tasted amazing, we had our entire menu picked out within a few hours. There's a few other benefits working with The Catering Outfit. One is they have a great relationship with MS Events (Rentals) so they can handle all the contracts together and you can have confidence that everything will run smoothly. Another is the volume of staff they bring with them. There had to have been 15-20 people across the property setting up, cooking, serving, bartending, cleaning, etc. They left the venue spotless, were dressed and operated as professionals and served amazing food. People will tell you that no one will remember what they ate at your wedding. I certainly did though, and we certainly got a ton of complements on the food that was served! And what people will definitely remember is the quality of service and professionalism. On that front, we were covered and then some. I cannot stress enough, WORK WITH A FULL SERVICE CATERER. We had originally planned to work with a caterer who was not full service and quickly discovered how many tiny responsibilities are covered when you work with a true full-service caterer. All in all, couldn't have asked for a better catering partner for the biggest weekend of our lives so far. Thank you Frank and Courtney!!!!!!!

They offered a free tasting of our final selection of meals for us and our loved ones, which was a great experience. The day of our wedding was truly perfect! The catering team even prepared a honeymoon kit with tasty treats for us. The staff were delightful and multiple guests commented on the friendliness and joyful energy of the bartenders. Makayla worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect. She is experienced and knowledgeable and completely capable of making all the appropriate decisions, however she is extremely considerate of what the clients are looking for when making decisions. She helped keep us on task in the time leading up to the wedding and she handled literally everything on the wedding day. She is professional and dependable, but also fun to work with. I really cannot say enough positive things about this entire experience! We are truly grateful to this team.

r/caterer we have ever worked with. She and her staff (Honorable mention to Star, the bar captain) attended to every detail and then some. Absolutely everything was done according to plan. The set up was fantastic, the food plentiful and delicious, and the organization perfect. We didn't need to worry about any detail because Courtney and her staff took care of everything. The day was flawless. 5 stars are not enough!

From the efficiency, responsibility, timeliness, effort, energy, support, knowledge, kindness, execution and more, TCO and especially Courtney and Makayla, made our experience in planning and throwing a wedding amazing, seamless, memorable, successful, and TASTY! All of our guests regarded our food. Most saying the best food they have had at a wedding, while others were busy clearing out the lamb meatballs and Mexican street corn, and everyone overall just feeling so full and happy from all of the good fun and amazing cocktails! We are endlessly thankful for the care, planning, and execution of our day. Everything looked perfect, tasted perfect and went without issue at all. Not only that, but I felt specifically so taken care of as the bride, always being brought a taste of something to eat in between photos, a sip of a cocktail whenever I needed, and a full plate of food waiting. I felt like the star of the show thanks to TCO. They also packaged up ALL of our food after the event in nice amazing to go boxes and placed in our vehicle, as well as our cake too. It was all so thoughtful and well done. If I could hire or recommend TCO, I would again and again and AGAIN! Thank you so much to the whole team. We loved working with you every single step of the way, and that means something especially when planning a wedding across the country too!

The service was also incredible, from the passing of drinks and apps during cocktail hour, to the final late night snacks, everything ran smoothly. We also had our day/month-of coordinator through TCO and could not recommend Courtney more, she truly made our day run seamlessly. We would choose TCO in a heartbeat if we were to do it all over again!

elia and Courtney assisted us with the planning of the reception (where TCO provided the food) and with rentals for two additional events held that weekend. First, we were delighted with the amazing food (which is what got them the job at the initial wedding tasting meeting), but in the end, we were equally impressed with their careful attention to every detail. When an event is held at home, there is no infrastructure on which to rely. Everything must be arranged from tents to bathrooms, from kitchen equipment to table settings, from lighting to sound to flowers - it is a big undertaking! Thanks to the pros at TCO, everything that went on under the tent was perfect - which allowed our wedding coordinator (who was also superb!) to focus on another miriad of details. Everyone did their jobs so very well - it is phenomenal what TCO and our other vendors were able to do with what was essentially a big field. As mentioned, TCO handled the specifics of our rentals for all three events, a rehearsal dinner, the reception and a brunch - with zero mistakes - everything we needed and nothing we did not. We absolutely needed their guidance in making sensible choices, and they had the experience we were looking for. The logistics were intense, and we had no worries as far as TCO was concerned. TCO was the core of our team, along with our wedding coordinator, and they were all invaluable in the planning process. Then when it came time to show up and make it happen, everything they touched happend as planned. Absolutley delicious food, fantastic service and friendly people - when you are surrounded by such deep experience and competence it is a wonderful feeling - it gave us comfort and confidence. I am so impressed with their focus on our plan, and the care taken at our property. The little things can become the big things at an event such as ours - and we have nothing but praise for the way TCO handled the event and worked with all the other folks involved - from bartenders to cake and pie bakers and a food truck providing late night snack, to florists, to the tent and lighting folks - they do this all the time and it shows. I hope this review coveys our deepest thanks to a wonderful, expert team who delivered everything they promised at every juncture. Almost makes me want to have another party .. :-) You can really trust these folks with yours!

t their meals came out early and we were pleasantly surprised and thankful to have our own tray of appetizers and our own dinner brought to us ( we did a buffet style meal). Also, anyone with dietary restrictions had their own plate brought to them. Oh, and to have wine given out to us and our wedding party after the ceremony was so lovely! Book them — you won’t regret it!!

ls and SO helpful and attentive. They were a huge part of our entire wedding planning process and we couldn't have done it without them. Not to mention the food was incredible. All of our guests were raving about it. The bar service was amazing as well, and they helped us immensely with quantities (we provided our own alcohol) and developing our signature cocktail. We had passed apps for our cocktail hour - coconut shrimp, chicken taquitos, and southern fried tomatoes. (This was the hardest part to pick because we liked everything we tasted, we just went with what we thought would be the biggest crowd pleasers.) Our wedding menu consisted of steak and chicken grilled on site on a wood-fired grill, both served with a variety of sauces. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauces elevated everything. We also had the roasted potatoes, a seasonal salad, and a medley of roasted root vegetables. We did a trio of bite-sized desserts in lieu of a cake - mini fruit tarts, cheesecakes, and pot de creme. The stations were set up beautiful - very stylish with lovely printed menus. We added on the late-night snacks option (udon noodles in takeout containers with chopsticks). All of it was a huge hit, and as most brides say, I just wish I ate more of it! They did not come cheap, but our price also included an extensive amount of rentals (our venue did not have a kitchen), as well as the full beverage package and late night snacks. But it was worth every penny to us to work with The Catering Outfit, I can't recommend them enough.

he day of and received so many compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding food they've ever had! While we're so grateful that the food was delicious and our guests were pleased, we've decided to give only four stars, because we had some challenges working with TCO during the wedding planning process. They were great to work with whenever we were able to get in touch with them! But when we would reach out to them through their communication platform (which was frustrating to use) we would go weeks or sometimes months without hearing from them. Even our wedding planner had difficulty getting a hold of them, and this became one of the most stressful parts of our wedding planning experience as we approached the final months before the big day. Their lack of communication left us feeling like we weren't very important compared to their higher paying clients. It was particularly frustrating because we had reworked our budget to be able to hire them and it was a huge expense for us. Looking back, we would choose TCO again, but wish they would improve their communications for clients at all levels.

s we liked since we were planning our Virginia wedding from Hawaii, but we were lucky to find The Catering Outfit. They hopped on several virtual calls with us; allowed our family to go to a tasting to help us pick out the perfect menu, snacks, and drinks; and met with us when we got back to Virginia to work through all the final details. Our lead was Allison and she was an absolute star. She made sure the whole team worked together well and was always by our side to offer us a drink or a snack during the wedding. She was a wonderful destressing presence and we could not have asked for a better go-to. All of our guests raved about the food - not just the taste but also the presentation - and how accommodating and delightful the staff was. It felt great to be surrounded by people who were invested in giving us the best day possible.

I still don’t ever think I will ever eat better food at a wedding! Frank and his team were amazing to work with during the planning process and day of, and made the entire wedding day feel like a breeze. Upon exiting the ceremony, we were immediately greeted by our signature cocktails and a platter of appetizers, and it might still be one of our favorite memories from that day. Finally, the tasting experience prior to the wedding is still one that both sets of parents still talk about; it was such a special experience where we were able to try so much delicious food in a welcoming environment, and we’ll cherish that memory forever. Thank you so much again Frank and TCO for making our wedding day run so flawlessly and for serving our guests such a remarkable wedding meal.

If there were any special requests that we had for our wedding, the Catering Outfit worked as hard as they could to make those desires a reality. We got to select from a long list of potential food options, and then we had our food tasting. The tasting was an awesome experience, and the food tasted the exact same on the night of our wedding. There was a very similar process with picking out wedding decorations, linen, and silverware. The service on the day of the wedding was world-class. We had countless compliments from guests expressing that there were no lines at the bar, the food was hot and fantastic, and the servers were extremely kind and caring. My husband and I can only agree more with all of the comments our guests said. My husband and I could not recommend Catering Outfit enough. From start to finish, they exceeded expectations! Lastly, my husband and I's day of wedding coordinator was Courtney with Catering Outfit. Courtney is one of the major reasons our wedding went exactly how we imagined. She did everything in her power to ensure our special needs and requests were met. She had timely responses to our questions and worked tirelessly from start to finish. Courtney made sure that Catering Outfit and other vendors worked like a well-oiled machine. There is so much that we saw Courtney do, and there is so much that we didn't see that we know Courtney was doing behind the scenes to make our day so special. If you are looking for someone to make sure that the logistics and execution of your day is done the way you dreamed of, then look no further than Courtney.

ar review however because the communication between Courtney and myself leading up to the wedding was honestly horrible. Even my wedding planner had a hard time getting ahold of this company at times. The discussion board we chat through is difficult to use and there were times where I wouldn’t get a response back for a WEEKS. I get that catering is busy but a week and sometimes even more to respond to an email is absolutely unacceptable for any business especially when it’s clients are paying around $20,000 for its service. During the times we meat in person they were nice, no one was ever rude but at times it did feel dismissive. For instance with TCO it felt like they were just trying to make every wedding similar. Courtney kept saying “oh well with the other weddings we’ve done it’s gone like this…” which is great to make their job easier but it didn’t feel like we were anything special. Luckily I had an amazing wedding planner and photographer that they both spoke up and were like “actually it’ll look better this way”. All in all, food was great but not sure if I would want to go through with booking them again if I needed another caterer.

Okay now back to the food - the tasting experience was truly amazing and Courtney worked with our budget and requests to create a flawless, delicious menu. From the cocktail hour to dinner to late night food, everything was spectacular with an immaculate presentation. Our guests are continuing to talk about how amazing the food and cocktails were, even weeks later! If you want a truly memorable catering experience for your wedding, then you have to hire TCO. People say guests don’t remember the food at your wedding, but with TCO they certainly will! Also we cannot thank Courtney enough for all her help with the last minute craziness and speed bumps. d we were blown away at the intricacy, attention to detail, and well executed menu they had made specifically for us and our tastes. It was so hard to narrow down our menu because everything was SO. GOOD. We were one of the many unfortunate couples who had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, but every time we talked about our wedding or our families got together, we'd always find ourselves saying "pull up the menu and lets read over how good it sounds again". Our guests raved about the food for weeks after our wedding (and still are) and we thoroughly enjoyed the to-go boxes for us to enjoy before we left for our honeymoon. They were a pleasure to work with and we would HIGHLY recommend them to all of our friends and family. You won't regret it!!

We had passed appetizers (crab hush puppies, duck tacos, chicken biscuits) and a grazing table for the cocktail hour and a family style dinner with entrees of pork tenderloin with apples and candied jalapeños and figgy chicken. Our event manager, Logan, was so helpful and responsive throughout the planning and the event, especially with our seating and table choices and configurations, and linens, dish/glassware/cutlery selections. She did a wonderful job implementing our daughter’s vision for her reception decor. Logan also took care of many last minute issues that came up with the rental and tent companies, making extra trips to the venue ahead of time to make sure everything was right. Some of these things were not even her responsibility, so we really appreciated her extra efforts. We highly recommend TCO for its wonderful food and people.

ourtney was so great to work with, not only helping us with food and drink selections, but also facilitating rentals. She was so knowledgeable and made me feel at ease because of her expertise. We finally got married on 6/26/21 and it was such a dream come true. The food was exceptional and all our guests were raving all night about the delicious BBQ, apps and drinks. The whole team looked sharp in their matching outfits and were so hospitable towards our guests. The best part were the leftovers! They packed up all our stuff and we were able to enjoy the leftovers and late night tacos the morning after. I would highly recommend the Catering Outfit!
