Designed by award-winning architects, our venue facilities include our gorgeous event hall (seating 200), beautiful tree-lined plaza (seating 200+), high character cocktail lounge, luxury eco yurt, intimate organic flower garden and gazebo, and large outdoor ceremony site (seating up to 200) under our majestic live oaks. Our great hall is a dreamy contemporary wedding and event space, intentionally designed to let you enjoy the beauty of the outdoors while being inside. With reception seating capacity for 200 guests, its open-air slatted wall features allow abundant natural light during the day, and help your guests feel immersed in the surrounding beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Our hall offers the best of both worlds- providing a covering with great lighting and is open-air allowing for fresh air circulation. And what's more, our hall and entire venue is run on renewable energy in the form of solar power. When you get married at The Cedars Ranch, you and all your guests have exclusive access to our event plaza (event hall, cocktail lounge, patio) and ceremony site from 9am - 12am (15 hours!). Included in your rental fee are tables and chairs for 150 guests, bistro tables and chairs for 28 (ideal for a creative bar setup or cocktail hour on our plaza!), and ceremony benches for up to 200. We have a caterer's prep kitchen and a serviced site for food trucks too. No hidden fees! e ceremony site with the trees was a breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony, and their plaza area was perfect for our reception. We had dinner and dancing in the big reception hall with bistro tables spilling into the plaza for people who wanted to enjoy the April evening away from a rowdy dance floor. We were able to set up cornhole and a slideshow in the outdoor plaza and we really enjoyed the flow this allowed our reception to have. The owners, Bill and Marilyn, are two of the kindest people we’ve come across during this whole wedding planning adventure, and answered every question we had. In addition to the wedding, we had our rehearsal dinner on-site Friday evening, and my husband and I got to stay in the luxury yurt on the premises Saturday night. It was so nice to be able to stay on the property and wake up surrounded by nature following such a high-pressure day. Additionally, we hired their venue coordinator, Elise Soehnlein, as our day-of coordinator and she was really one of the shining stars for us through this whole process. Whatever possible gaps we had on the wedding weekend, Elise covered. Since she works for the venue, she had all the answers and suggestions. In addition to helping manage all our vendors, she was also so attentive- during the reception she saw me get pulled into a conversation on my way to grab a drink and next thing I knew she was handing me a cup of water. She was a freakin’ rockstar. As far as I’m concerned, if you’re getting married at TCR, hiring Elise is an absolute must!

the venue itself is outstandingly gorgeous, but also because of how open, honest, and helpful Bill and Marilyn were. They truly became our friends throughout the process. The sheer fact that we could utilize the venue for not only one day but a whole weekend, at a minimal fee no less, was the absolute best part of our wedding. Truly, it was such a relief to be able to gather on Friday evening, celebrate our wedding on Saturday, and then come together on Sunday before we sent everyone off. I could not have imagined working with another venue. Our wedding would never have been the same. At the end of the day, I'm here to tell you not to hesitate. Book The Cedars Ranch now. They are the best Austin area venue out there!!

The outdoor ceremony area facing west to capture the sunset and surrounded by Oak trees to the plaza crowned with twinkle lights came together beautifully and laid the perfect picturesque background as the setting for our wedding. The Great Hall adjacent to the plaza was a great peace of mind in case the weather decided to not cooperate and was designed to be open-air which was a huge plus in wanting to have our wedding outdoors, but could also be converted to be insulated should the it start to get cold. Getting ready with my bridesmaids in the yurt on property was the perfect, calm setting to start the day off that I needed to get me in a relaxed head space. The yurt was chic yet rustic and had everything we needed to get ready, including the bluetooth speaker to stream our wedding playlist to get us pumped while we got our hair and makeup done. Bill and Marilyn have put so much thought and effort into the Cedars Ranch and it absolutely shows. Our guests enjoyed being able to spread out over the property to make s'mores over the firepit and though we didn't get to make use of the gazebo space due to the wind that evening, we had planned to hang up a large frame for guests to take pictures in. We hired Torchy's Taco Truck which unbeknownst to us is the largest food truck in the country but the space they had allotted for food trucks (including plug-in availability) was plenty big enough even for it! Dancing to our first song under the twinkle lights surrounded by our family and friends and under the immense Texas night sky will be a memory that I cherish forever. I cannot say enough good things about having your wedding at The Cedars Ranch and will highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a wedding venue. Thank you Bill and Marilyn for providing a setting that made our wedding everything I had ever dreamed it would be!!

of the best decisions we made through the whole ordeal! Every step of the way, we were supported and what a gift it was to work with this wonderful crew of humans. There was space for each of our guests to wander around and explore the property. There were rooms for our over-stimulated children and family members to relax.
