ess. They were very understanding and accommodating when we needed to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19. The week leading up to the wedding, I called and visited the venue almost every day to set things up and they were very helpful. On the wedding day, everything ran perfectly and many of our guests told us they had a wonderful time. The grounds were well-gardened and looked stunning for our outdoor ceremony. All the staff and vendors were phenomenal: Tiffany was an amazing coordinator, she kept everyone organized at the rehearsal and ceremony and kept the night rolling along smoothly. The food was from Adriane’s Delectables and it was delicious. They took great care of us, when it was time to start eating, the food and drinks were already set out for my husband and I, and they even remembered that I’m a vegetarian. The DJ Mike Mullen was great, he played all our favorite songs and the dance floor was hopping the whole night. We’re so happy that we picked the Cedars, they helped make our wedding dreams come true.

friends had no issues finding it, located perfectly in Downtown Acworth, and parking was also extremely convenient for guests to park and walk right in. We had a day of coordinator, Kathy, who made the day so perfect and allowed each process to be planned so we didn't have to think about it. I highly recommend getting married here!

their package. Booking everything was a breeze and communication with Brigit and Christina was superb. They were always avaliable for questions and concerns, especially when COVID hit in the middle of wedding planning. The venue itself is beautiful, and there was plenty of room inside for a December wedding. Our day-off coordinator, Kathy, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I didn't have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. I would recommend this wedding venue to my friends and family. Thank you Cedars!

as never stressed one moment--they always checked in to see if anything was needed and were always available when needed. They also have the BEST vendors!! The Cedars is the place of your dreams. I would recommend them every single time!

. The way the house is laid out allows for a wonderful atmosphere, where your guests could move from space to space, allowing the freedom to participate in a reception in a most comfortable way. High ceilings, a beautiful staircase, fireplaces and a grand chandelier create an elegant and elevated space and a great setting for beautiful photos. This venue works with Adriane's Delectable caterer, who I also highly recommend. The food and the service were excellent.

Not to mention the venue is absolutely gorgeous with all the pretty twinkle lights. People are still complimenting us on how beautiful it was and how amazing the food, cake, and flowers were. Can’t say enough sweet things about this place, it was absolutely perfect!!!

The venue is absolutely stunning and beautiful. The grounds are immaculate. We also used Adriane for catering, which was excellent. Our wedding cake and rehearsal cake was from Cake on Main, which I have to say, tasted like Sara made it in her home kitchen. Nothing bakery tasting about those two cakes. e minor issue is the bartenders moved my koozies and didn’t refill the bucket for guest to get. Adriane’s food was so delicious. The only complaint is she talks fast and doesn’t tell you about all the charges up front. (Just a heads up) Overall wonderful wedding and dreamy venue!

the grand room. Extended windows and French doors help bring in lots of light to the space and the gardens are stunning outside. We got married in April and it was the perfect day. Warm but not hot, the flowers were in bloom, sunshine made for gorgeous photos of our bridal party, and the layout was easy to navigate. It felt like a warm, inviting party where everyone could mix and mingle to celebrate the big day. Kristina was always available to answer any questions and help guide us through the process of it all. We loved Cedar Plantation and highly recommend it and its vendors to anyone looking to celebrate their big day with a classic Southern vibe!

From our initial meetings with Kristina, to the menu taste testing with Adriane a few weeks before our wedding, to the cake tasting with Sara Williams, to the wedding reception planning with Bridgit and Tiffany we were very pleased with all elements and aspects of the planning phases and outcomes for our special day. We received numerous compliments from our wedding guests about how much they enjoyed the food catered by Adriane's Delectables and how delicious everything was. Everyone loved the cake and agreed with reviews that the strawberry cake is the best ever! We also heard from almost all of our guests on how impressed they were with the beauty and elegance of Cedar Plantation and what a beautiful venue it is for a wedding or any other special event. The staff of Cedar Plantation and Adriane’s Delectables was exceptional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our day even more special. If you’re looking for a perfect venue with southern charm, southern hospitality, and delicious fine catering, Then we highly recommend Adriane’s Delectables, Cakehouse on Main and Cedar Plantation as your venue of choice. d wanted it to be in a plantation, so when I visited Cedar Plantation I fell in love with how impeccable it was in every aspect and became instantly enchanted. The owner Briggie was extremely attentive towards everything we needed and made sure everything was how we wanted it. The garden is absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for our special ceremony. The sound system during the ceremony surpassed our expectations.In addition, the catering done by Adriane was exceptional and she was able to fulfill our specific wishes in including many different tastes and making exquisite hors d ‘Oeuvres, appetizers, and our plated seated dinner. We had a variety of guests coming from different parts of the world, and she was able to produce food that pleased everybody's tastes. What's more, the food was presented in a very aesthetic way that contributed greatly to the elegance of the whole event. The place itself is gorgeous, but the extra decorations with the lighting and flowers handled by Nina made it even more romantic for our celebration. The DJ Netty did a terrific job handling the microphone levels, especially when controlling the sound levels of my son who sang during the wedding. She also kept the crowd engaged during the dancing celebration and everyone enjoyed themselves fully. What a grand time! Our planner Jackie coordinated every activity perfectly and guaranteed everything was done in time and to our liking. It was a second wedding for the both of us and our expectations for it were very high. Both Cedar Plantation and Adriane Catering were able to meet our expectations to the fullest. ttending, and it still felt small and intimate enough to us. It's large and the day I went to meet with our wedding planner, it was being set up for 250 guests and still felt big enough. I love all of the windows and the fact that it doesn't need much decoration. We were able to purchase 1 hour of overtime for an affordable rate, but I wish that hour had been included in the initial fee. We were allowed to come 1.5 hours prior to the wedding ceremony to have pictures taken.

photographer. I didn’t have many decorations because the venue is so beautiful already. They have murals on the walls, incredible vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, etc. One of the biggest selling points for me was their landscaping and the huge magnolia tree in the front yard which we used as the backdrop for my photos. They have evergreens so it doesn’t matter what time of year you get married there will always be beautiful trees and flowers. I got married at the gazebo in the backyard which provided a wonderful aisle for me to walk down. They also have 3 options of where you can get married inside the house as well or for a backup if the weather doesn’t cooperate which you can decide on up to 30 minutes before (huge selling point for me having an outside wedding!). The DJ, Nettie, was very receptive to what we wanted and has a cheat sheet that makes setting up all your music a breeze. We had so many compliments of how beautiful the venue was and how smooth everything went throughout the day. Carole was our day of coordinator and she made me feel so comfortable. It can be a very hectic day but Carole took care of knowing where everyone should be and when. Cedars was always available to answer my many, many questions and was so flexible for when we needed to set up for the wedding. I highly recommend this venue!

It held our group of 130 perfectly without being too chopped up. We got married outside at the gazebo and it was beautiful! The staff is super flexible and is able to work with whatever crazy requests you come up with (trust me-I had plenty!) They are full service in that they have a list of caterers to choose from (both amazing) a florist (or you could use your own) a baker (best cake ever!) and a DJ. THe venue also includes a wedding coordinator, which made my day incredibly smooth. All of my family is still raving about the wedding and how beautiful the venue is! I would recommend Cedar Plantation to anyone!

nue because we wanted to have an outside ceremony but an equally great indoor backup plan if the weather did not cooperate. I would recommend this venue for anyone that wants to make use of the indoors and outdoors for their wedding. Two things that were important to us regarding a venue selection – we were allowed to BYOB and have our dog at the ceremony. We liked the package offerings because some vendors were built into the cost but we were still able to choose a few of our own. The DJ that comes with the package is awesome. Super sweet and very accommodating to what music you want played. You could tell she enjoys what she does for a living. You are given a choice of 2 caterers and thankfully we choose Dogwood Terrace, their food is amazing. For the baker, they have a partnership with Confection Perfection and the package includes a 3-tier butter cream icing cake. The best cake they had was the chocolate chip cake – very yummy! They assign a coordinator for the day of your wedding. They have more than one but the woman assigned to us was not very pleasant and you could tell she didn’t enjoy what she was doing. In fact, she is a real estate agent (primary career). I swear she took the job at Cedar Plantation as a lead generation opportunity – she was sure to give us her card and mention when we were ready to buy a house to call her. We are giving a 4/5 for service based on our experience with the owners. A mother/daughter combo own and operate the venue. The daughter is really sweet and good with communication. Her mother on the other hand, made us feel as though we were bothering her and inconveniencing her for asking questions and wanted to come early to set up. Overall, we would recommend this venue. If we had to do it again, we still would have chosen Cedar Plantation.

. It wasnt an easy ride trying to get the answers and service I and my family expected for the amount we were paying and so on from the facility to the vendors they suggested. To my guest I got many compliments on my wedding reception and to them it appeared flawless but behind the scenes to me the bride and MOB who worked a hard year on many details things fell short in areas where it should not have.

Some packages even included flowers. The prices were more than reasonable. I got married in an "off" month and i was shocked at how low the price was in comparison to other places that i looked. It was nice to pay one price and know that that included everything, and there would be no surprise charges. The cedar also worked with me in my budget and even sent me a refund check for the people who ended up not coming to the wedding. I was able to come by at virtually anytime to come in and check things to help in my planning stages. I got married on March 17th, 2012 and in the outside garden. I had many of of guest tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. The trees and flowers were all in bloom and it has made for the more picture perfect pictures. If you looking for a one stop shop venue, this is the place for you. It was so nice to not have to worry about picking a DJ, cake service or a catering service, everything was done for me, and done perfectly! I highly recommend this place.

The wedding day was perfect - everything went smoothly and looked beautiful. I would definitely recommend this venue for an outdoor garden wedding with indoor/outdoor reception options!

You do not have to worry about finding a place to rent tables/chairs/placesettings, etc. It is included in the price at Cedars. The caterers they have to choose from are both fabulous, and we were completely satisfied with the DJ as well. You don't have to worry about a single detail on your wedding day because they take care of it ALL! I would recommend Cedar Plantation to anyone!

The draperies are replicas of the Gone with the Wind green velvet curtains and they fit the house SO well! The house DJ was so much fun and customized our reception with our music choices, and they kept the party going throughout! The House caterer, Catering to You was so yummy, and the owner of the catering service was so helpful and friendly. The house Cake vendor, Confection Perfection, was also wonderful! Jennifer made us SUCH a delicious cake with different flavors for each layer. Our only complaint was the Florist that comes with the place-please save yourself money and worry by finding your own florist. Acworth House of Flowers was not worth the huge cost they charged. All in all, we loved Cedar and hope that other couples find it!!!
