The whole team made our day an absolute dream and we could not have been happier with the outcome! Our guests still rave about the service and Matt and I could not have not imagined a better team to make our day so incredibly special!

g process were always wonderful, clear, and they were extremely helpful. They were even extremely accomodating when disaster hit and I (the bride) got covid 2 days before the wedding, and they were able to help us shift everything over to a later date and were extremely kind and understanding throughout the process. The venu is absolutely beautiful and our guests still tell us how amazing everything was. I was too busy in the moment to remember much about the food, but our guests still rave to us about it months. I would highly recommend the Chateau to any brides and grooms to be as a wedding venue!

e Chateau. Brooke and Lauren were incredible to work with and super responsive, helping us every step of the way. We had about 140 guests and it was the perfect size, even when we set up our DJ, a photobooth, and buffet stations, in addition to our guests' tables and the dance floor. The interior of the ballroom is so beautiful to begin with, you hardly need to decorate much more! The Chateau takes care of all of the food and drink, so we just needed to make package and menu selections. They also host a complimentary tasting. The food was great and our guests had a fantastic time and loved the location. Thank you so much for having us!

I loved the venue and the vast majority of our vendors came from their preferred vendor list. The food was delicious (we did a buffet with the Prime Rib carving station, salmon, and wild mushroom risotto) and the team was super accommodating to our kids table as well where we selected the chicken finger and fries option (they were very happy!). She also assisted with our rehearsal providing pointers and being very patient with our large bridal parties! The food was wonderful and again the staff was very professional. Plenty of parking. We were married on the 10th tee box and can't say enough about the views! We couldn't recommend The Chateau more as a wedding venue. Thank you again for everything!

! I was sold on the venue as soon as I walked in and saw the stunning ceiling beams, fire places and gorgeous balcony views. We received many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. The food was also delicious. We even did a late night pizza snack that was a huge hit. Highly recommend!

m the very beginning, the Venue Coordinator Lauren, was so great to work with. She was always quick to respond to my endless emails and questions! She was so flexible with our requests. She even worked with my mother-in-law to surprise my husband and I - with a champagne table service during the reception and passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. Since I had a specific vision in mind, it was so great to receive the stress free customer service The Chateau staff provided. As for the wedding itself, the bridal & groom party were well taken care of. After the ceremony, they made sure that the reception area was blocked off during cocktail hour, so my husband and I could enjoy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails before the guests entered into the reception area. The entire event staff was so well organized and made sure that the entire wedding ran smoothly from the ceremony set up to the last dance. We were so happy with our experience and our guests had a wonderful time. They are still raving about the food, drinks and of course the breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe!!

ngs to keep in mind - this is a lower budget venue, so you need to plan a lot to bring it to life. If you're up for that, this is your place! Lauren was responsive and had answers to my several questions while planning. Tips: they say parking is reserved for 10 spots, but there is just a normal beach parking lot person at the front and they will not enforce for your wedding. Bring toilet paper because bathrooms are not restocked/cleaned through the night at 2 bathrooms for over 100 people means lots of TP is used!

ght the reception space looked magical. We couldn't have agreed more! Our photos are amazing partially because there was so much to work with (trees, rocks, mountains, and pathways). Everything went so smoothly during the reception that we didn't even notice the staff. Everything was right where it was supposed to be at exactly the right time. Planning from a distance, we were so grateful to get a tour via Skype and were sent so many photos to help us get an idea of what everything looked like. SO HAPPY with our venue choice!!!

anding. We started our ceremony 30 minutes late and still ended up perfectly on time with dinner, dancing and everything else. We had lots of compliment's on our food and appetizer choices and those that were able to show up had an amazing time. I highly recommend the chataeu for any event you might be planning.

the distance. We had friends and family that travelled from 9 different states and they all agreed the Chateau’s property was amazing. Kathy, Lauren, Char, and Jesse were all extremely professional, we used their list of recommended vendors who turned out to be excellent. Everything went so smooth and seamlessly because the staff was always a looking ahead and anticipating the next event of the wedding. We choose the chief’s buffet with a carving station of turkey and prime rib. Everyone raved about how great the food tasted. They had enough there to accommodate any dietary requirements. We highly recommend the Chateau for anybody looking for a beautiful venue, excellent service and a stress free wedding day. All in all we give the Chateau a 5 STAR rating.

We had a ski trip already planned, so we decided to take a look at the place in person while we were up there. We met with Lauren first up at the Chateau and she went over details (pricing, availability, what's included) , then we went down to look at the venue and fell in love. It was as close to a backyard wedding as we could get. A lot of the venues in Tahoe are not private like Aspen Grove. The fence surrounds the entire area, so you don't have strangers peaking in on your party (or possible wedding crashers!). The creek, the trees, and the hanging lights make the venue feel almost woodland fairy/magic like, especially at night. Our family and friends keep talking about how beautiful the venue is, and it's been a month since the wedding. The Lake is right across the street, so if you have a photographer with access, you can just walk across for photos. I did my family photos at the venue with the creek behind and then we walked across the street for couples photos and let our family and friends hang out at cocktail hour at the venue. Which brings me to food. It's delicious! They have two tastings a year, but we were not able to make either, so we just crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. When your guests take photos of your appetizers (specifically the tomato soup and grilled cheese shooters) and put them on social media, you know the food was a hit. I don't live in the area, so a lot of my communication and planning was done via email and phone. I did come up about two months before to look at the venue again to get an idea for decorations (we did them ourselves), and look at the napkin colors and table cloths and take measurements. The staff is AWESOME. I had some really random questions that come up when your trying to plan, and they were right on it (like, could I put a table on flat ground for the elderly and recent surgery guests, how many rows of chairs are there so I know how many flower bags to make, etc.). I had ZERO stress the day of because of their help. I can't thank them enough! You will have a beautiful, stress-free wedding at Aspen Grove!

The on-site banquet team was very professional and quick to carry out our last minute requests. The food was incredible, and our guests are still raving about their dinners almost a month later! We were so happy with how everything went, and are grateful for the amazing support and customer service from the events team. This venue is magical, but what really made our wedding so outstanding was all of their hard work. Having worked in the industry myself, I know what it takes to make such a big event seem so effortless. Rest assured, you are in the best hands when you book this venue!

The venue was beautiful, honestly we tried hard and you can't find a better forest location than Aspen Grove in the area for the price. The natural scenery made outdoor photos a breeze thanks to the lovely background virtually wherever we were (plus it matched our Mystical Forest theme perfectly!) and many guests told us they were impressed by how beautiful Aspen Grove is. The food was delicious (especially loved the appetizers!). The setup was lovely. I am so glad that this is the vendor we went with. Would definitely recommend!

She was also there for the rehearsal the day before and all the way through the ceremony. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They dress the area beautifully for the food presentation. There was plenty of parking in addition to the reserved parking spaces given. As a resident pass holder, we got to take go rigth across to the beaches and take beautiful pictures by the beach. s very helpful and friendly. My husband is lactose intolerant and Lauren made sure to note it in our file after our food tasting. The food was delicious! I've received so many compliments from guests that they loved the food. I selected the Ponderosa Trail package with steak, fish and chicken tenders for the kids. They were also very helpful with setting up personally bought tablecloths for my party. My cousin/day-of-coordinator said it was very easy to work with Cathy. The venue was available at 10am the day of the wedding which started at 5pm. Even when the venue ran out of requested alcohol, their staff went out to buy more to make sure that my guests were satisfied. We had a large guestlist of about 220. The room was full, but not too packed with all the guests seated, gift table, donut (we don't do cake) table, dj, and photobooth. It was hands down the BEST DAY EVER!!!

The food tasted delicious and the staff was so helpful and courteous and professional you couldn't choose a better place to have any kind of event. The location and staff made my daughters wedding even more beautiful and we were excited to have been able to say we used this venue.

. The bartender was excellent. The team coordinating everything was polished and on point. We had a group of about 75 people and we had plenty of room, but the space didn't feel empty. I HIGHLY recommend attending their food and beverage tasting if you book with them. It helped me prepare for so much! The Facilities: We took advantage of their bride and groom suites to stay hidden before the ceremony. They were spacious enough for our small wedding party and thank goodness they had a fan! Those dresses trap heat... We did our ceremony inside (it was March and cold outside) by the fireplace, then had cocktail hour in the grill with the beautiful views of the golf course. We even saw a bob cat walking across the snow! They reset side of the main ballroom that had been set for the ceremony for dinner during cocktail hour. From what I and my guests experienced, it was seamless. Decor: We brought/made a lot of our own decor, but their staff was super helpful to my event coordinator in laying everything out. (I also hired a separate event coordinator in addition to the support I got from the Chateau, might have been overkill, but peace of mind is a gift). The Food: We opted to do family style service where platters of each dish were brought out to the tables. We figured it was a nice mix between a buffet (eat as much as you like and what you like, but wait in line) and a plated (lots more coordination, can't change your mind, slow) dinner. It worked out beautifully. We had the Mashed Potatoes, Tri-Tip, Salmon, Seasonal veggies and the nut & arugula salad. It was all so tasty. I actually ate seconds of the potatoes (who knew a bride had time for that!). The Beverages: Good selection of wines and beer. We opted for the Call Bar Package.

what I wanted. I never once felt pressured to choose a more expensive option or feel like I "should" have something I didn't really want. They were very helpful with tips and worksheets, telling me what options I had to choose from to help narrow things down. They also have excellent relationships with the vendors I used from their vendor list, which meant that on the actual day, there was absolutely NOTHING for me to worry about!

We met Cathy a year and a half before our wedding when we visited Lake Tahoe to find our venue. Leading up to the wedding, I spent hours coordinating every aspect with Cathy. She helped with the ballroom layout, dinner selection, and general timeline, etc. Due to Cathy’s experience, patience, and creativity, she was able to provide so many suggestions and guide me through the whole process. I had numerous questions about finer details of our reception, and she was always quick to respond via email and was always available for my phone calls. Cathy is such a sweet and pleasant person to work with, and will always go out of her way to ensure you feel comfortable with the plan and answer any questions you may have. The venue was perfect. We rented out the whole ballroom, so our reception felt so inclusive with just our family and friends. The venue is surrounded by mountains, has a beautiful balcony that wraps around it, high ceilings with chandeliers, a fireplace on each side, dance floor, plenty of space for the DJ, space for any extra tables you want, etc. I received so many compliments from friends and family about how beautiful our reception was. We used lights and paper lanterns to add more decorations, and it turned out to look even prettier than I expected. After our ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi (5 min away), my husband and I left to take portraits by The Lake. We had a timeline, yet this got shifted due to pictures taking a lot longer than we anticipated. Although Cathy had a timeline set with serving dinner, she was extremely flexible and understanding when we got back to the reception a lot later than we had planned. The entire reception went perfectly smoothly, from the champagne toast to dinner, to all the other events, and finally the cake cutting. We would have never chosen a different venue for our wedding reception; not only was it of course a gorgeous place and had all the features we were looking for, but also Cathy was so organized and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. We are so thankful for all of those working at The Chateau, and HIGHLY recommend this venue for any couples seeking to find the perfect spot!

The deck with the string lights became our dance floor. I can go on and on and brag about this place because it really is beautiful. were gorgeous chandeliers and two fireplaces. I barely decorated because it was so simplistically beautiful on its own. Everyone was amazing to work with. They did set up and clean up which helped a lot!
