Amazing venue with the best staff. Ever. Planning a wedding is hard and what sets the tone is the venue. From the very beginning when we toured The Cira Centre Atrium at JG Domestic, we were blown away by the ambiance, the professionalism of the staff, and the overall feel of the place. My fiance and I were planning from out-of-state and Milanee and Sydney were so accommodating and an organized - they worked with our schedule and moved things around to suit when we were in town. Even the tasting was an amazing experience and the food is incredible! The Garces team provided the peace of mind that everything regarding the venue and food was taken care of; and they coordinated with all of our vendors and made sure that our big day ran smoothly. On the day-of, Beth ran the kitchen like a well-oiled machine and our bridal attendant was so kind and attentive. We received so many compliments on the venue, food and staff and could not have asked for a better experience. Long story short, cannot recommend he Cira Centre Atrium at JG Domestic enough for your big day. Amazing food, outstanding staff, and incredible food.

As the father of the bride, I wanted to ensure that my daughters wedding was amazing and magical yet I didn’t want to be that over bearing parent. Sydney and Milanee were terrific to work with and very open minded to hear our ideas to make the night memorable yet they were also adding their thoughts given their vast experience in wedding planning. Needless to say, and again, my daughters wedding was amazing through the hard work and flexibility of Syndey and Milanee. They are true professionals and I would absolutely highly recommend them for your wedding. Especially for those Dads of the bride.

I want to extend my sincerest Thank You to the Garces Team who managed our wedding last weekend. Our wedding at the Cira Center Atrium | JG Domestic was flawless and amazing. The planning experience, the menu, the service, and the venue were exceptional. We attended the Open House event on a week day as the sun was setting and I knew The Cira Center was the perfect, and most unique wedding venue to hold our ceremony and reception. After we decided, we were in immediate contact with Sydney and Milanee who are SO patient, kind, and responsive. Throughout the planning process, I was able to lean on both Sydney and Milanee if I had questions pop up from any of my vendors, my florist, dj or if we had (more) questions about the menu, or changed our minds. (Even though Sydney sent the information to me multiple times prior :) !!! With my busy and demanding work schedule, JG Domestic provided me with an amazing, one stop, all hands on deck team, who reduced the stress and pressure of balancing life and planning an extravagant wedding!! The venue and the team took that stress on and kept me calm throughout the day of!!! The glass and natural green floral and tons of candles that surround venue create an intimate and cozy setting as the night goes on.... and the food was by far the star... Our guests are RAVING about the cocktail hour, the pasta station, and the braised short rib. The signature drinks were also a hit, we chose the Cresent for Him, (bourbon, mint, & ginger) and the Fall Martini for me (vodka, cranberry with a fresh rosemary sprig). We had such a truly beautiful night....... I would recommend JG Domestic to ANYONE who is considering it, and again want to Thank ANDY!! SYDNEY!! MILANEE!! And the Entire Bar Team, & Serving Crew from our night of. You guys are an awesome, dedicated group of people who contributed to a very very special occasion.... Thank you so much! THE BEST!!! oh my gosh everything was PERFECT for our wedding. and i had MULTIPLE people tell me it was the best wedding they had ever been to - including my very hard to please manhattan socialite friends. I had so many people compliment the food which was amazing, the space, the staff, and also the ambiance/enviroment. it was truly special and everything I dreamed my wedding would be. we had such a great experience. working with the planning/event team from Garces made everything so smooth and easy. the staff that you had was absolutely phenomenal - Beth made sure everything was perfect and was so kind and generous. The food was fantastic. the signature drinks were PERFECT . Nathan - can i tell you about nathan our personal attendant - he was PHENOMENAL! worth his weight in gold. when we showed up to the cira centre, a little late and a litte sweaty and honestly the only moment of the day where i felt a little stressed - we walked in and there was Nathan - smiling and handing me a cold glass of water and he said, “whatever you need I’m here for you” and he WAS!! he instantly put me at ease and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable - he even brought us drinks on the roof when we went for golden hour photos - he truly waa a gem, kind and professional and so attentive. the entire staff was wonderful.

We had our wedding at JG Domestic in November and many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The food was OUTSTANDING and the venue is absolutely stunning. It only required minimal decor, which was perfect for me because I didn't really care too much for florals and decor. From the moment we saw photos of the venue, I knew this was our place. It combined my husband's style and mine perfectly and allowed for the space we needed for our large wedding and 10-piece band. The only thing I could possibly find to complain about would be that it is not a cheap venue, and many of the options they give you are upcharges, but I believe that this is standard in the wedding industry. And regardless, I do believe that the expense is worth it at the end of the day. If you want to have a wedding with a modern/refined rustic feel and a beautiful skyline view of Philly, this is the place!

What a magical night❤️ Sydney and the staff were so incredibly helpful. The food was absolutely delicious..our guests are still commenting on just how good it was. our guests are still commenting on how comfortable they were made to feel by the staff. If anyone is considering the C I r a center or chef garces..I say do it!!! You will have no regrets! We loved every minute of it and thank all of you for giving my daughter and our new son in law such a magical night❤️

We absolutely LOVED our wedding at the Cira Centre! Every single thing was amazing, and Milanee and Sydney were the greatest people to work with!! The menu trial was so fun, we felt so at ease with our day and the Cira Centre was so accommodating! The only (tiny) complaint I had that was completely no ones fault but something to keep in mind was that, because they have to light the bridge from the parking garage to 30th street station, you won't get your super romantic lighting. However, that wasn't something I noticed while I was there, you could tell in the pictures. But I didn't mind! I married the love of my life and it was the funnest day ever so I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone who wants the city vibe!! Thank you so so much, Milanee and Sydney!!

I found this place through the Knot and fell in love. We met Sydney a few weeks later and she made all of our dreams come true! From accommodating all of our requests to making sure I was happy with everything on the day of! All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food and service was. I’m so glad we decided to put our special day in your hands!

JG Domestic and the Garces Group were phenomenal during the whole process of our wedding! They made the entire wedding planning process seamless, fun, and exciting, and the wedding day itself was absolutely perfect! Sydney was my go to person and she was awesome! She was very responsive with my million questions/emails and even helped with different ideas for decorations and logistics for the day of the wedding. We loved that it was a one stop shop and everything was included with our package! Our day was a dream come true and was honestly perfect because of JG Domestic's team! Many of our family and friends said that our wedding was the best they'd ever been to -- between the food, the venue, the organization and the special touches! I think our friends are still talking about the hot chicken sliders!!

I know when we were picking a venue reviews were a big help. We just hosted a wedding at JG and it was loved by all. Just to put in perspective 2 months ago we had an amazing Chelsea Piers NYC wedding. How do you make an event different, special and just as elegant? Well the feedback from our guests has been tremendous. The ceremony was gorgeous with the views and pictures beforehand by #JohnRyan @ J&J Studios. Stunning! The comments were so consistent about how fun it was and beautiful. Cocktail hour in the restaurant was a little tight for 175 guests, but no one really seemed to mind. They loved the food. So fun, so different. Taco bar (mahi mahi) was a winner! Its was a party in itself. And then they walked into the reception like they just entered a completely different event. I can't say enough about Alexa @ Carl Alan Florist who carried out our vision. Again, the guests loved their dinner. We had the perfect group of young people to sit in the arbor area & they just loved it. The band, EBE Philly Sound, some thought may be best yet of all the bands they have heard, during this crazy wedding run our group friends have been on. Dance floor was not crowded at all & everyone was on their feet. One takeaway - get a second speaker for the back if you are having speeches. Only time we struggled with the sound. But the biggest thank you goes to Milanee and Sydney. We did not invest in a wedding planner and I'm so glad I didn't. They were always available, responsive & got our vision and offered very concrete suggestions. They kept me on email communication regularly when our event started approaching. Saving on the wedding planner we were able to add some other extras over the weekend we wanted to do including the" Donut" Want This Night To End wall my husband built. They made it so easy to incorporate, drop off, arrange etc any of these extras. And most important, having done 2 weddings, I did not feel pressured or presented with unexpected extra costs. It was a beautiful, elegant evening and completely different. Thank you to Jose Garces group for a great menu. Delish!

We planned the reception for my daughter's wedding at JG Domestic. From the planning through the last dance everything was perfect. Recomendations provided by Milanee and Sydney for flowers , a DJ and additional advice were also terrific. The food was amazing as were the staff who worked during our event. Their seating options and the use of space provided a truly unique and memorable event.

Our experience with the Cira Centre was just okay. If I had to do this process over I’d probably go with another reception venue. Let me start off by saying that the food was delicious - all of our guests told me how great it was and I definitely have to agree. The signature cocktails we chose were pretty great too. This space is also amazing for photos, from the skyline to all the details inside JG Domestic. We chose the Cira Centre because we didn’t want to have to go overboard with floral design since it already has so much going on and it really did turn out great. *I will also note that we had about 185 guests and they did complain about cocktail hour being too congested and very long wait for first cocktails (30+ mins) There were some things that frustrated us throughout the process though. One thing is that Garces only offers one tasting event in a large setting, which was great but doesn’t offer you the opportunity to choose what you want to taste. You have to arrange and pay for a separate tasting if they don’t happen to make those specific menu items at your tasting event. It was definitely fun but not individualized at all. Along those same lines, I just felt like Garces doesn’t really show that they appreciate your time and money throughout the planning process. I didn’t feel like any conversations were personalized or genuine, but rather transactional. This may have been because there was some staff turnover throughout my wedding planning, which also added to my frustration. One last thing that I was unhappy with was the organization. I will say that all of my contacts responded within a timely manner, but some of my wedding details got totally ignored or mixed up on my actual wedding day. 1. We were supposed to have a receiving line at cocktail hour to greet everyone as they arrived but they just let all of our guests in without me there, so the receiving line just never happened. 2. They took our cake back to the kitchen to cut and serve before my husband and I even cut the cake and took photos - thankfully our photographer ran into the kitchen and had them bring it back out before they actually cut it. 3. They totally missed setting up a table that was outlined in our final floor plan which left some of my guests very confused for a while Overall, our experience was just okay. The venue itself is great, I just think Garces and their team need to improve their organization and customer service and their events will be much better.

From the moment we walked into JG Domestic to meet with Milanee, we knew immediately that this venue was going to be the one. The space is absolutely beautiful and you don't even need to decorate it much since it's filled with greenery and has a garden feel to it with a nice view of the city. Milanee and Sydney made the whole planning process seamless! We're so incredibly happy with our choice in choosing to go with Garces. It's a one stop shop! From catering the food, drinks, and desserts/cake, a whole day of team to make sure your day goes smoothly - they provide it all. They were easy to work with and very accommodating. They were there through every step to answer any questions and made us feel at ease. My husband and I are both in the food industry so we knew that food and service had to be top notch and the Garces team delivered. They simply went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations. Our guests could not stop raving about the amazing food and service all night! We had the help of our friends and family members for floral/decor, music, photography, and videography, but Garces also provides a list of trusted vendors to work with if you need help with finding any. They even accommodated when we wanted to bring in outside food as a late night snack! There was zero stress when I walked into the venue the evening of the wedding. We can't thank them enough! We had the most perfect night and would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone who is considering this space!

Our wedding at JG Domestic in July was absolutely beautiful, with the help of the Garces Events staff. From the moment we began the planning process, Sydney and Milanee were attentive to details and communications were in a timely manner (most often within 24 hours). The venue offered spectacular city views and the unique setting allowed us to personalize both the ceremony and reception in a manner that represented us. The food was delicious and our guests had a memorable time as we celebrated our wedding! The day-of staff also were extremely attentive to all details, allowing us and our guests to enjoy the food and drink. We did not work with an independent wedding coordinator and did not feel the need to do so. We were very pleased to have worked with the Garces Events Group and highly recommend JG Domestic as a wedding venue!

Our wedding was not only amazing because of the venue itself, but everything that day went perfectly smooth. From day one they were there to happily answer any of my planning questions promptly and walked me through what needed to happen next. We have heard from many guests how great the food was at our wedding and how the venue was just breathtaking! You will not be disappointed!

We had the most special big day thanks to our Garces Family! It was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and we'll remember that day for the rest of our lives! So much of what we wanted was accommodated, easing the stress of planning. Additionally, the food was ah-mazing, which our families still talk about to this day!

This venue is amazing. Our guest are still raving about the service, the food, and the Decor. A few days before my wedding, I remember thinking to myself " I hope everything turns out the way I envisioned it ." JG domestic was above and beyond anything I could have envisioned thanks to the staff that did an incredible job.

My husband and I held our wedding at JG Domestic during the first weekend of August. We can't recommend the venue and events team enough! Since the very beginning, our event coordinators were spot on! They were extremely helpful and accommodating when it came time to picking our menu and touching up on final details just days before the wedding. They were always in communication with us; making sure every last detail was perfect!. Our guests are still raving about the food, THE CAKE!! and how professional and kind everyone was who worked our event that evening. We can't recommend JG Domestic and Garces Events enough to couples looking for that perfect venue!!!

We had our wedding at the Cira Centre at JG Domestic in May, and we had an absolute blast! We live in NYC, from Philly, and I was a little worried about the planning/ideas coming to life from afar. The Garces Group made it REALLY easy. They were responsive to my questions and were able to execute my center pieces without someone being there from my side :) The venue itself was unique and different. Was a little worried about the transition from cocktail hour to the main area for dinner, but in the end it didn't matter. Everyone was too busy enjoying the taco bar, eating the apps, and hanging out with drinks. We received a lot of compliments about the food - we still think about the swordfish mini tacos and gauc! Really appreciated the cocktail food in our bridal suite. We were able to make sure we enjoyed the food before greeting everyone. And final thing that was great about this venue - their ability to work with outside vendors. We had absolutely no problem organizing our photobooth, DJ, little jazz band, bringing in our own cake, and food truck into the night. They were flexible and extremely helpful with timing and making sure everyone had what they needed to make sure they could do their job. Thank you for everything! Hope we can go as guests in the future!

Where should I begin...my husband and I knew what we wanted and didnt want. Cira Centre Atrium at JG Domestic location was exactly what we imagined our wedding to be. It had the aesthetic that we wanted to capture and give to our guests. The big windows and the views of the city- incredible! As we started to work with our assigned wedding venue coordinator we noticed some organization issues. My husband and I totally understand that they have other weddings to plan as well but we wished we didnt have to always double check their work. The venue coordinator also continues to get my husband's name wrong even after many corrections and doesn't update us when our payment have been processed without having to follow up. The day of our wedding was incredible for the most part. Our guests really enjoyed the food and the scenery. I did noticed the tables and space we were promised was not provided without a fight. During the planning process, I specifically asked if my backdrop (I even provided the measurements) would fit the space given because I wanted to make sure we have enough space for people to take pictures. I was reassured that the backdrop size would fit perfectly but when the day came it was an issue with spacing. My wedding coordinator had to fight to get a space for the backdrop and at the end it worked out. More issues arrived when I was promised a 6ft table for my photo props but was denied the day of because it was an "issue" to bring a table to that location. So my photo props ended on the floor half of the night without my knowledge. My wedding coordinator ended up bringing a small table, herself, for the props. We worked hard to find a schedule that would fit the food schedule. There was a delayed in the entrees because the kitchen did not know when they should start serving but my guests did not mind. Many of my guests did complain the servers got their entrees wrong and how fast the servers took away their food when they weren't finished. They even took the wedding favors (not opened yet) off the tables- very unacceptable! We made many revisions to the wedding schedule and floor plans with the venue the week of the wedding so I can understand this could have caused confusion BUT it is concerning that the level of communication and organization was not there when the day came. My husband and I really wished the venue had better communication and planning with their own team. Overall, my guests really enjoyed the food (5 stars) and they didn't noticed all the hiccups. We received a lot of compliments about the food and the venue. It was a beautiful moment for our guests to remember.

We had our wedding here in March and it was a dream come true! This venue truly captures the essence of Philadelphia, which is why we picked it. We had many guests travelling from out of town and so we wanted to pick a venue that highlighted the city in which we met and fell in love. The view of the city skyline, the quick trip to 30th St Station for pictures, and the delicious Garces food definitely fit the bill! Many guests commented on how unique the venue was and how delicious the food was, which is exactly what we were hoping for. You also don't necessarily need to hire a wedding coordinator for this venue, as they have great staff to guide you along the way as well as plenty of day-of staff to help with set-up, etc. The venue, food, drinks, tables, set-up, etc. is all handled in-house, which definitely makes the planning process easier. Additionally, the venue itself is so beautiful and unique with the city skyline and natural wood and greenery of JG Domestic, that it really doesn't need additional decoration to feel special. This was very important to me, because I didn't feel like I had the time, energy, or talent to focus on producing my own decorative details :-)

We had the pleasure of getting married and having our reception at the Cira Centre. The venue is beautiful and the perfect mix of modern (with the stunning view of the city from the Atrium) and rustic (with the greenery and wood finishes in JG Domestic). Our wedding food was at the top of our priority list, and Garces catering DID NOT disappoint. Our guests loved everything we had on the menu! The staff was very friendly and service was good as well. The only complaints we had were: 1. We didn't receive the pre-ceremony food in the bridal suite and area where the groom + groomsmen were waiting until it was almost time for the wedding to start. My husband and I also requested that they set aside some of the passed hors d'oevres for us to have after we took photos, and we received maybe 1 of each item we spent so much time deliberating over (Again the food was very important to us, so this was a disappointment); 2. Between the time of booking the venue and our wedding day, the two wedding coordinators from the venue who we began the process with moved on to other job opportunities at two separate times. The handling of this transition was not as seamless as we would have liked, and the communication was lacking compared to what we had been used to. Overall, we had an amazing wedding and nothing took away from it being the best day of our lives!

Seriously the best venue and staff ever! Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and that is all thanks to Tori and Milanee. They were there every step of the way. Even when I was bombarding them with emails, they were there, without hesitation. They both made sure our wedding was exactly what we envisioned! The actual night of the wedding, everything went as planned, with no problems. The event staff working that night was just awesome, and kept making sure me and my now husband had everything we wanted. They were extremely friendly and supportive, and we cannot thank them enough for making our day perfect! I would 1,000 % recommend this venue to anyone, if they are looking for a unique modern Philadelphia venue. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

We had our ceremony and reception at JG Domestic and it was spectacular. We just got our pictures back and the backdrop is breathtaking! The food was the big draw for us when we were searching for our venue and we knew that if we booked with Garces our guests were going to be impressed. My wife and I really enjoyed working with Tori and Milanee, they were helpful with all of the last minute details and helping us decide on a menu. Our favorite was the mozzarella bar! My daughter's wedding was absolutely perfect! I received so many compliments about the venue including the food and the wonderful staff! If you are planning a wedding this is the place. The background of the City is incredible at night. If I had more daughters we would not hesitate to have the celebration with Garces at the CIRA Centre. We are very grateful for all help. Our wedding at The Cira Centre was unforgettable. The service is off the charts, and the food is completely out of this world! We've heard from our guests that our reception was the very best they had ever been to, and are still raving about all of the amazing food! We couldn't have picked a better place to get married.

Where do I even start? I had been to JG Domestic a few times before for happy hour since it's in the building connected to the train station. I never thought I'd end up getting married there, but my mom came with me when I first toured the place and she fell in love with the ambience. My sister had her wedding at Battery Park Gardens, New York so getting that indoor/ outdoor feel was something we were both looking for. We ended up going with the dual entrée option which made it so easy for us because we didn't have to try to sort through rsvps looking for what the guests picked. I also really liked that the cake was included because that was one less step I had to worry about. The night of our wedding, the staff were all so courteous and we really felt like we were being taken care of above and beyond since we had a wedding attendant. I'm definitely going to be recommending Garces to my newly engaged friends, they made our wedding day special and unforgettable!

As soon as my fiancé and I toured JG Domestic and The Cira Centre we knew it was the venue for us. Having both the greenery and rustic feel of the restaurant with the views of the city skyline was really the best of both worlds. I'm a big foodie so being able to customize and create a fun menu for my guests was super important. Working with their team made this seamless and all my friends and family were raving for weeks about how good all of the food was. It was the wedding Ed and I always imagined it would be!

Stunning venue! So many picture-perfect spots for photography! The food and drinks were spectacular, and working with the Garces Group was incredibly easy. The staff were amazing, and our guests could not stop raving about how tasty the food was. Out of all of our decisions for our wedding, we both feel that choosing to work with the Garces Group was the best.

My wife and I had both our ceremony and reception at JG Domestic on July 22, 2017. We were in a rush (planning our wedding in ~2 months) and knew nothing about wedding planning, but with Tori and her team, the wedding was one everyone enjoyed! Tori got back to us via email promptly throughout the entire process of wedding planning, answering even the most minute questions with clarity and warmth. She was also very accessible. At the tasting, I never found it difficult to find time to talk to her, even though there were many people at the event. On the wedding day itself, she helped us stay organized while working with us in flexible manner. We wanted to serve our guests good food at the wedding and JG Domestic did not disappoint! Even though we purchased the 'lowest tier' food option due to our budget, many of our guests were literally shocked by the quality of appetizers and the dinner. Even the coffee was delicious! I really appreciated the fact that they took care of the wedding cake for us and was pleasantly surprised by how many people loved the blueberry velvet cake! It was a surprise to see convenience come without compromise. Besides the food, the service was clean, efficient, and professional. There were no mix-ups when it came to serving everyone what they ordered and it looked impressive! I found the space to be a beautiful combination of modern and rustic at the same. We initially had some worries about how 'private' the space would be in such an open environment, but in the end, such worries were unfounded. The space very quiet on the weekend and the organizers did an excellent job of separating the wedding space from the rest of the building. Nathan from Simply Fabulous Flowers transformed the space from a quaint restaurant into one that took our breaths away. During the wedding, we enjoyed seeing the natural light coming through the large windows change gradually as we moved from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. For us, planning a wedding on such a short notice without prior experience was a challenge. But choosing JG Domestic helped us focus on what was truly important in a wedding. We got great food (cocktail hour, reception, and dessert!), a beautiful space for both the ceremony and reception, and most importantly, an amazing team to work with. I truly believe that the many compliments my wife and I received for pulling of such an enjoyable wedding in so little time are a testament to that team's earnest hard work and dedication!

We are so beyond happy that we chose JG Domestic as our wedding venue. Everything was absolutely perfect, and the staff was such a pleasure to work with. Caitlin is such a doll. She is so great at what she does, and she made us feel so comfortable and taken care of from the very start. Her and Tori were so helpful and kind through the whole process, and we loved working with them. You can't beat the city backdrop, the rustic decor of the restaurant, the service and the Garces food! I cannot say enough about how wonderful an experience it was having our wedding at JG Domestic. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and defined professionalism at every stage of the process. My best friend got married at the Cira Centre in September and we had an amazing experience. I'm also in the wedding industry so I had pretty high expectations as the maid of honor but Caitlin and the entire Garces team hit it out of the park. From the delicious food to the professionalism of their staff , they made her wedding day seamless! Oh and did I mention the amazing views of the city skyline? This venue is a must if you're looking for a unique place to get married.

I had my ceremony and reception at The Cira Center. My guests raved about the food and the view of the city skyline is to die for! We had an intimate wedding and only used the restaurant. It was the perfect space for a reception. We would absolutely recommend this venue to our friends and family!

I had my wedding at JG Domestic this past summer. I have to be honest - I had attended so many weddings I knew I wanted something truely unique. Typically at weddings the food is just OK so I knew with Garces the food would be out of this world. In true Garces style they did not disappoint! At cocktail hour we had a mozzarella bar with a chef making mozzarella in front of the guests! For the reception we had a duet course with short rib and scallops. It looked too good to eat! If you are a foodie, I definitely recommend looking at a Garces venue! We couldn't be happier!

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon and we're still on cloud 9 from our amazing wedding at JG Domestic! When we saw pictures of the space for the first time we need it was the venue for us. Once we booked the team of coordinators helped us along the way. My husband's favorite part was the tasting event. He loved to see (and eat) some of the most popular menu options. We highly recommend JG Domestic!

My daughter got married at Cira Centre- it was beautiful. The stations were so delicious- relatives raved about the gaucomole bar! I was so thrilled that everything came out exactly how she visioned. I would recommend this venue and staff to other friends who's children are getting married in the future.

I had my ceremony and reception at JG Domestic, Cira Centre and it was beyond my visions. The food was amazing, the staff on site couldn't have been more helpful. Caitlin was such a joy along the process, my mother is not the easiest and she felt so comfortable with Caitlin.

Caitlin and the rest of the team at Garces catering were amazing! We picked the Cira Centre/JG Domestic for its amazing views of the city, the rustic look of the restaurant and of course the food by Chef Jose Garces. Everyone told us that the food was absolutely amazing! We had stations for dinner from 3 different Garces restaurants. We had an open bar with a specialty cocktail. Cake was provided by their pastry chef, and it turned out delicious. Linens, tables, chairs, uplighting, dinnerware and flatware were all provided. We had our ceremony there as well, and they seamlessly transitioned the space from ceremony space to cocktail hour to reception space. The wedding turned out perfect and the staff was wonderful.

Words can not express how happy I was with JG Domestic for our wedding reception. From the first meeting with Caitlin to the last dance, everything was PERFECT! My husband and I were looking for a venue that combined our two styles - he is city modern and I am country rustic. JG Domestic blends the two beautifully. On top of the amazing space, the food is incredible. I am gluten-free and the staff at Garces went above and beyond to make sure that I could safely enjoy my special day. My guests raved about the food, drinks and especially the dessert! Caitlin and her team made everyone feel welcome and like special guests. I typically feel the need to control all of my details, but I knew that I was in good hands when I dropped off my personal touches the day before the wedding. The staff transformed their already beautiful space in to the dream wedding that I had imagined! Our guests were wowed with the way that the space was transformed and everyone had an amazing time. If you are looking for a non-traditional, gorgeous, delicious and stress-free wedding - JG Domestic and the Garces team is your perfect venue!

After all of the great reviews, seeing the beautiful space, and what felt like a flawless planning process I thought I had nothing to worry about for my big day...Wrong! So many things went awry- first the girl in charge lost the check she was supposed to give to our band, then my starving bridal party was not given the previously promised food & drink in the bridal suite pre-ceremony, during cocktail hour the wrong hors d'oeuvres were served (explaining bacon to my mostly jewish guests was interesting), and my gluten free guests were never given their pre-arranged gluten free dessert (French macaroons). The staff, while all very friendly, seemed to be very young and untrained. They all needed to be asked the same thing several times before anything got done. At the end of the night, the staff cleaning up put all of my centerpieces and bouquets in a giant messy pile causing damage to the flowers, despite previously informing them that I was planning on reusing these items for the brunch in the morning and had left vases extra vases for them to be placed in. The worst part, although a funny story now, is that two wedding crashers wearing t-shirts/jeans/back packs came into the reception and were eating food off of a table. No staff did anything about it, and I had to chase them out myself (luckily my amazing photographer captured this special moment!). All in all the space is beautiful and the food is good quality, however, the number of mistakes and the amount of stress this all caused me and my family was not worth it.

It took my fiance and I a long time and many visits to different venues to find the perfect one! After visiting JG Domestic at the Cira Center, we immediately knew this was our venue. The atmosphere is perfect for all your guests of all ages. It is a perfect mix of rustic and modern, it provides the center city Philadelphia essence without the hassle of the traffic and no place to park. Our guests are raving about our venue and how perfect it was. In fact, some of our engaged couples are asking if they can use it for their weddings! Caitlyn, the venue director is AMAZING! She really listens to your wants and needs and works with you to make sure you are happy. She responds quickly to emails and calls. She has great suggestions and literally made our planning/stress a lot easier. Chris, the chef is brilliant. The food was perfect and delicious. He works with allergies, dietary restrictions, and really thinks outside the box to create amazing food. My fiance and I are vegetarians and had a meatless wedding. Most of our guests are meat eaters and were not looking forward to our food selection because of the lack of meat. However, during and after the wedding, ever our most devoted meat-consuming guests RAVED about the food. They loved everything and did not miss the meat. They even asked if they could get the recipes! The staff is wonderful and made our guests feel so welcome and made us feel relaxed. I cannot recommend this venue more. Best venue ever!

My husband and I could not have been more thrilled with our wedding at JG Domestic. We were married five days ago, and it feels like a dream- every single detail was handled perfectly by Caitlin, the wedding coordinator. The head chef, Chris knocked it out of the park with the food- i could not believe they could cook in such mass quantities and still serve everything just as delicious as it was at our tasting for four people. Guests raved about the unique venue with its city skyline views and amazing food. Our head server Nathan was MVP of day- he was so sweet, attentive and made me feel at ease all day. WE LOVE JG DOMESTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

The space was very unique and fit exactly what we were looking for. The food and service were what you would expect from a Jose Garces establishment. The non-traditional table sizes required some creativity in doing the seating chart. Being the groom, I can't really speak to nearly as much of the planning experience as my wife could but all in all we were very happy with how things turned out.

I can't even put into words how amazing my wedding was at JG Domestic and the Cira Centre! When I first took a tour I had a hard time envisioning how 230 people would work in this unique space, but the day of my wedding I was blown away at how beautiful the space looked. My friends and family have been to weddings at all the other major Philadelphia venues and all night I kept hearing that the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding. My husband and I had such a fun time picking out the menu from the big tasting event we went to. The hardest part was picking which of all the amazing food we wanted! We had a plated dinner of chicken and salmon and to this day we've never had a better dinner! I would definitely recommend JG Domestic and the Garces Group to anyone looking to have the best wedding with superior food!

My best friend got married at JG Domestic a few weeks ago and we had the BEST time. From the moment we walked into the ceremony, to the bar's last call, we received the most professional service from the Garces' staff. I've been raving about the food since the wedding! The venue is the perfect setting for a city bride with a rustic style. I'll definitely be inquiring when I get engaged!

Typically I am an absolute control freak, so I was a little nervous when putting the planning of my big day into the hands of someone else. I have to say, Caitlin made it such a wonderful experience. Everything was just as I imagined. And not to mention the venue was stunning. I am so happy and because of her, it will certainly be a day my husband and I will never forget. My husband and I were married at JG Domestic in June and it couldn't have been more perfect! I have nothing but positive things from the moment we started planning til the end of our reception. Our families and guests are still complimenting us on the gorgeous space and delicious food. Caitlin (the wedding coordinator) made everything super easy and stress free. There are so many ways to use the venue and she helped us plan the best way to host our ceremony and reception there. Then there's the menu planning... Caitlin helped us incorporate all of our favorite Garces restaurants into the menu. My husband loves Amada so we had a suckling pig station ( guests were blown away) then my must have guacamole and taco station from Distrito was included as well. We were also able to host our rehearsal dinner at Distrito with a discount since we were getting married at JG Domestic! The staff the day of our wedding were attentive and professional. I am, ahem... A little picky... And Caitlin and my bridal attend made sure every detail was exactly to how I pictured it. Again, the entire day was perfect and I can't imagine a better we could have started our lives together!

I was very picky about finding a venue, I swear I looked at 150 places online. I didn't want the regular ballroom with carpet. EVERYONE commented on how amazing the space was. I really wanted a rustic wedding and before we visited was afraid it would end up being too "fancy" but you can really make it whatever you want! While this space is more urban/chic/modern, the restaurant area is all wood, it is SO beautiful and gives it the perfect mix. Also, the skyline is just amazing in those huge windows. The food was so good, I honestly picked the place because they offered a guacamole bar (I'm obsessed with guac). Definitely no ordinary wedding food here! The staff the night of couldn't have taken better care of us, our family and our wedding party. I think someone even went out to the store to get something special they didn't have at the bar for my dad. Seriously-that is amazing. Caitlin was very easy to work with. She got everything done that I asked for, and I emailed her A LOT. I live in NYC so a lot of things were done over email and the phone. It's great because they really let you do anything you want with the space. It's very large and versatile, we only had about 130 guests but it could fit a lot more. I didn't really even have to do much because there are so many interesting aspects of the space which makes things less stressful. We also had the ceremony there. It was perfect. If you want a tasty, unique, stand out wedding you should go here. It was the best night ever and really reasonably priced for the area especially since you get Iron Chef quality food!

My 10 year vow renewal was held at the Cira Centre on July 11 2015 and it was fabulous. My guests could not stop talking about how great the food was and how beautiful the venue was. Caitlin, the wedding coordinator and the entire staff that night were phenomenal! She made sure that we had everything that we wanted and eased my constant feeling of nervousness and concern. I would absolutely recommend the Cira Centre as a venue of choice for any wedding or in my case vow renewal; )

The Cira Centre Atrium & JG Domestic were the perfect setting for our dream wedding. We wanted something different rather than your typical ballroom and this venue did not disappoint. We used the atrium for our ceremony (the view of the city as the backdrop is beautiful!) and we used JG Domestic for our reception. Our guests loved the idea of restaurant seating and are still raving about the food! Caitlin and Nathan went above and beyond to make our wedding day smooth and memorable. I wish I could do it all over again! It's also a GORGEOUS place for pictures!

I loved the Cira Centre! It was beautiful and unique - exactly what I was looking for! Caitlin was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding and worked well with my planner and all of my vendors. The food was delicious and so much fun! My husband loved that all of the food was representative of the different Garces restaurants in the city. I loved how the modern, gorgeous atrium was juxtaposed with the rustic restaurant. It was whimsical and romantic, everything I could've asked for!

So - the space is beautiful and unique. The food is incredible. But, they were extremely difficult to work with. They claim they can handle 250 for a sit down - that must be for fire marshal code using the entire restaurant. 150 is a tight squeeze in the lobby. They also changed menus. Again, the space is beautiful, but, in retrospect, not worth the aggravation.

We went with JG Domestic after considering 4 other venues in Philadelphia. The food and drinks were amazing. Caitlin, who oversees weddings for JG, was also great, efficient, highly responsive, and helped execute our vision. Our guests raved about the overall ambiance, the food, and the attention to detail. It is a great break from the 'ordinary' wedding venues and allowed for great flexibility in the use of the space (lots of different and unique spaces that you might not realize walking in.....for photos, for time before the wedding, for cocktail hour the wedding ceremony, and of course the reception). They also executed our design for cupcakes and wedding cake topper to a tee!!! Also, we had great service and support the 'day of' of the wedding through Bridget and Caitlin. Hands down, best venue in Philly for a wedding, we were very happy. Only downside was we didn't get to eat much on the actual wedding day!!

We had our reception here, and the Cira Centre/JG Domestic actually inspired our "city meets country" theme. My fiance and I were looking for a more unique venue, not your typical hotel ballroom or country club, and the space definitely fit the bill. I'll admit that when I first saw the space, I wasn't sure exactly how we would fit all our guests, but in the end the venue was perfect for our wedding - the windows surrounding the atrium provided a nice atmosphere all throughout the night, and the space felt warm and intimate. Having good food at the reception was really important to us, and we knew we couldn't go wrong with the Garces Group. The appetizers were especially amazing. Our guests still rave about how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed the food! Caitlin was really helpful throughout the whole process, and even gave great recommendations on some of my South Jersey vendors. The service on the day was great as well. There were a few things that didn't go as expected/planned, but the staff worked to make sure things went as smoothly as they could. Overall, I would recommend this venue and the Garces Group.

The first thing that caught my attention is the architect of the building. Since I own a construction company it caught my eye right away! The large windows provide a perfect CHANGING landscape of the city from late afternoon, to sunset, to night time-- And what an amazing view indeed. I loved the space and thought it was perfect for my wedding (we had the ceremony there as well!). The service, food, and the venue was not the only thing I loved about it but also the convenience of the location for our guest was perfect (on site parking & central location to hotels). If I had to do it all again I would choose this venue hands down. Looking back it was a great night and something I will remember forever.

The beautiful skyline of the city seen through the modern architecture, the rustic character of the restaurant and the delicious Iron Chef, Jose Garces food! Every moment from the second I walked into JG Domestic was a pure pleasure! I can't thank Caitlyn enough for being so easy to work with. My family and I especially enjoyed the personal menu tasting they offer. We frequently go to Jose Garces restaurants in Philly and knew the moment we stepped foot into JG Domestic, it was perfect for us! Our guest can't stop talking about how this was "THE BEST WEDDING" they have ever been to! I couldn't have been a happier bride with choosing this for my wedding ceremony and reception! My fiancee and I were engaged in December of 2013. In early 2014 we found out that my fiancee's mother had fallen ill so we decided to push the wedding up to sometime in 2014. We saw an ad for a Garces bridal show at JG Domestic in March and thought why not take a look the worst thing that could happen is we get some good food and drinks but not something within our budget. We come from two large Irish families so our "small" wedding was going to be about 150 people minimum. We went to the Bridal show and my fiancee fell in love with the place. It was bright had a great view of the city and just fit our personalities. We found Caitlin the Event Manager at the show and sat down to talk about the space. We were looking to have an awesome party not a reception. A high end cocktail hour if you will with stations and such. We mentioned to Caitlin that we had a budget and that we would like to stick to a certain number. She said she could absolutely make it work. We signed a contract that night and began the planning process. Caitlin was excellent helping us plan everything from the amazing food and drink selection to the decor of the room and timing of the day. One of the best things about using JG Domestic for your reception is the menu. Since it is a Garces restaurant your options for your wedding are open ended. You can pick items from various places and Caitlin will make them work for your event. She arranged a private cocktail hour for the bridal party with our own wait staff so that we would have time to eat and gather ourselves before entertaining. The staff was incredible with everyone especially my fiance's elderly parents, going as far as to bring them food and drinks to their table so that they did not have to get up all night. The entire event was everything that we had hoped for and still have guests telling us what an amazing place it was and how much fun they had. If you are looking for a non traditional place and want something different with style and flair the Cira Center at JG Domestic will not disappoint you.

I was married in August and still have not lost my bridal glow. I cannot say enough about the Garces Catering staff, the JD Domestic\Cira Centre venue and the food. Our coordinator, Caitlin, really understood what type of wedding we wanted and helped deliver the party of the year. We opted for food stations and the staff did a great job keep up with the volume of 150+ guests. All of the food was phenomenal but the taco & mozzarella stations were my favorites. Our cake was the best cake I’ve ever eaten at a wedding. Our goal was to have a celebration and we achieved it, each and every guest had a great time and are still raving about our wedding.

We knew when we began the wedding planning process that we wanted to do something a bit different and non-traditional. Jose Garces is one of our favorite chef's in Philadelphia and his restaurants never disappoint, so JG Domestic was the first place we looked, we had looked at a few other venues in Philadelphia and none of them came close what we were looking for. JG Domestic had the gorgeous view of the city and since we had both lived in Philadelphia for over 10 years, that was very important to us. We're also huge foodie's so with all the options of Iron Chef Jose Garces had to offer, we knew this was the venue for us. Our wedding coordinator Caitlin, was amazing!! She was always available to answer any questions we had, was extremely informative and helpful. Her calm demeanor really put us at ease with the whole planning process. She recommended our florist, The Garden Party, who was also AMAZING. The day of the wedding, was perfect, the layout, the staff, the food...there was nothing to complain about. Caitlin made sure all the vendors were informed, knew what do, where to go, etc. I can not say enough good things about Caitlin and JG Domestic!!!

My husband and I got married (ceremony and reception) at JG Domestic in June 2014. Overall, we were beyond delighted with our choice of venue. Caitlin was amazing to work with and very helpful every step of the way. We did some things a bit non-traditionally, and she never batted an eye. We had a complicated setup for the ceremony, and she made it happen smoothly, without a hitch at all -- her careful orchestration and planning was a godsend the day of. She was available, met regularly with us, and made great suggestions. And if we didn't like a suggestion, she was happy to defer to our preferences. Super accommodating, which was great and made me feel like I could make the event exactly what I wanted it to be, instead of being stifled by all sorts of rules. Everything went smoothly during the wedding. The food was incredible -- much better than your typical wedding food. The space was impressive for our guests. It's great having the openness of the lobby, but also the intimacy (and decor!) of the restaurant to work with. What surprised me the most about JG was how affordable it was (for what we got, especially the food), how easy they made the process (they took care of every last detail, down to setup and breakdown), and how much I was treated like royalty the night of. As the bride, I even had someone who always appeared to top off my wine whenever it got low. I never even had to go to the bar! The little touches like this meant a lot and they take great pride in making your experience a wonderful one.

I cannot express how wonderful an experience it was having my wedding here and working with the great folks at the Garces Group. They handled everything from food and beverage to plates and linens. The even coordinator even laid out our centerpieces! We were not expecting this type of service, but were glad to accept it. Personally, I feel that the one thing that gets talked about after every wedding is the food. If you are a lover of fine and gourmet foods like I am, this is definitely the right choice. The menu tasting alone was incredible! The entrees at my wedding are being used as a comparison at every other wedding my wife and I attend. People keep saying "the food is good, but it was nothing like your wedding at JG Domestic." I'll happily take this as a compliment. There really isn't anything bad to say. The venue is amazing and boasts incredible views. The staff is great (our head waiter was dressed as well as I was). The food is (obviously) amazing. They let you choose from the catering menu containing selections from every Garces restaurant. So if you're looking for a ceviche bar, steak, and a taco, they'll do it. And, for us budget conscious folks, the price was more than fair. Our six month anniversary is coming up, and I'm getting really excited to go another round with the top tier to my cake. Did I mention they even made a custom cake for us? I'm not sure why, but I insisted on cream cheese and salted caramel icing, and they delivered. I really don't have a single complaint.

My husband and I had both our ceremony and reception at JG Domestic in September 2014. When we first started looking at venues, we were looking for one that had a unique vibe, had great food, was not a ballroom, was preferably in the city, and would work within our budget. We found JG Domestic to be just that. I loved it because the style (in my opinion) was a little rustic but also clean and modern looking. The restaurant is a cool setting so you don't need to add too much to it if you don't want to. But, it could work if you did want to add more to it. I think the space is so great that you can be creative and it could be transformed for many different styles without losing it's own uniqueness. The skyline view of Philadelphia is amazing. And, it goes without saying, the food was delicious. Caitlin, the event coordinator, was great to work with. She was one of the reasons we chose the venue over the others ones when it came down to the end. We could tell that she would be great to work with and that proved true. I can be very particular and ask a lot of questions. She never seemed annoyed and always responded timely. She helped us work within our budget and made suggestions on how we could get there without sacrificing the quality. She even gave us some great suggestions on vendors we could use. The staff the day of our wedding were very professional and did a great job. Overall, we had a great experience and are very happy with our decision to have our wedding at JG Domestic.

My daughter's wedding and reception was held here October 2014. A few days after the wedding when asked if it met her expectations, her reply was "Yes, and more!" She knew from her first meeting with wedding planner, Caitlin, that she had found the right venue. The wedding and reception couldn't have been more perfect and Caitlin's smiling, calm demeanor from the time we stepped foot in JGDomestics until we left at the end of the evening let this MOB know, without reservation, there was no detail that would be overlooked and we were in excellent hands. The waitstaff throughout the evening was very friendly and the service was impeccable. The guests are still raving about the food giving high praise for the selections available and the unique presentations. Not the typical boring fare of most weddings for sure. If you're looking for a special, out of the ordinary wedding/reception, look no further. This is the place!

We had both the ceremony and reception at JG Domestic/Cira Center and we cannot stop raving about it (and hearing praise of our guests)!!! From the beginning stages of the planning to the final event, Caitlin (our coordinator) and her staff absolutely blew us away with her outstanding attention to detail, calm attitude and fantastic organization. My husband and I didn't want to pay tens of thousands of dollars for bland, boring food and had been fans of Jose Garces' food for a while. The decision to have his chefs cook the food for our reception was a no brainer. The hors d'oeuvres and main courses were unique, but appealing to the masses (and mouth wateringly delicious). I can say without hesitation that food is worth every penny. My husband and I also had a blast during our private tasting and enjoyed meeting the chef who would cook for our wedding (Jason) and our Captain (Adam). We were spoiled with delicious food and were given a better understanding of how the reception would flow. We also loved the cake tasting at the end of the evening when we were given several samples of cakes and buttercreams. We finally settled on pumpkin cake and a spice buttercream, which was perfect for our October wedding. The pastry chef did an expert job making my vision for the cake a reality and the taste was even better than we remembered! I can say without hesitation that JG Domestic is a dream venue for any couple. From the staff, to the amazing food to the unique setting for pictures--you will not regret choosing this venue for your wedding!!!

I just recently had my wedding at The Cira Centre Atrium at JG Domestic on 7/19/14. When I was I was looking for venues, I knew I did not want a traditional ballroom or hotel wedding. The food usually was plated and boring to my taste. I wanted something different and having Garces Catering certainly did that. I knew that I wanted an amazing food. Garces Catering was amazing and we are still getting raves about the food! We had a tapas style menu which allowed our guests to try a variety of items. The venue was very good at accommodating my food allergy towards gluten. They prepared items for me personally that were gluten-free and tasted amazing. The wedding cake cutting piece was actually gluten-free as well, special thanks to the pastry chef. Caitlin, our event coordinator and her staff made the entire day run very smoothly. She was very flexible and organized. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding!

I had wanted a non traditional wedding venue in Philadelphia for our daughter's wedding . I did not want the typical sit down dinner in a hotel.I found it at the Cira C ​entre . The Cira Centre is a beautiful all glass building that provided an urba​n rustic setting .The JG Domestic restaurant and the open space faces the city providing a great backdrop with a view of the city's skyline. Caitlin was our venue event coordinator and she was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We selected the family style menu and the food choices are from the various Garces restaurants in the city. Everyone raved about the food and loved the tapas style menu. The guests were able to taste the many different dishes. The wedding itself went smoothly. Caitlin, her staff , and the party planner worked well together. I was able to enjoy the day after months of planning.The venue and staff met all our expectations and more!!

I am so grateful that we chose Garces Catering for our wedding, and the Cira Centre as our venue. Needless to say, I was a bit worried putting everything together, but when we sat down with Caitlin, our wedding coordinator, I really knew that we had nothing to worry about. She was always cheerful and able to offer simple, beautiful solutions to our questions. She returned emails and phone calls quickly, and even agreed to a last minute meeting the day before she left for her maternity leave. When we met with the chef for our tasting (this was only 4 weeks before the wedding-they hold it that late to make sure all the ingredients are in season), we consulted with the pastry chef, Jess Mogardo for our cake. We really had no idea what we wanted, but she came up with a few options and the end result was beautiful. I happened to mention that the first thing I ever made for my husband when we started dating was a lemon ice box pie. On our wedding day, Jess surprised us by finding and making the very same pie that I had made for my husband years ago. We were truly moved (and very happy to finish it off at home!) Nearly every guest we've spoken with has told us that ours was the best, most fun wedding they've ever been to. From the food (which included several vegan options, and a cake bar), to the music provided by No Macarena, to the exceptional service from the Garces Catering staff, we truly couldn't agree more. Just one note! We didn't think we needed to put the entrees on our invitations since we knew the orders would be taken tableside. Fortunately, Caitlin worked this out for us, and we ended up serving duet plates to each guest, but make sure you at least know what your entree options will be so you can include them on your rsvps!

We held our wedding recpetion at J.G. Domestic in the Cira Centre this summer. We put a lot of effort into it and were delighted with how it turned out - this wouldn't have been possible without the many vendors involved, and of course a lot of credit goes to the Garces team that worked so hard on the actual day of the event to help it all come together. We really had fun at our reception, and so did our guests, and we couldn't have been happier. We really enjoyed the cocktail hour in the bar area (the pergola gives it an open, airy feel) and the dinner in the main area (they do a great job with the space). And of course, the food is top notch. Not only in the quality of the food, but also in the amount of food and variety of selection that is available. We opted for stations - the food was plentiful and the presentation was great. Thank you again for a great wedding reception.
