The Club at Garden Ridge

This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding! It was the very first one my husband and I toured when we started looking. The timing was perfect as I reached out with an inquiry on the same day as one of their open house events. We fell in love with it immediately but decided to look at a few more venues before officially booking. We quickly realized that we wouldn't be able to find anything else that checks all of our boxes: has that romantic and elegant feel we were looking for, was within our budget, and was in a prime location. We had many guests who were coming in from out of town so we needed to make sure there were hotels nearby, full cell service was available, and Uber and Lyft rides were easily attainable. While there are many other beautiful venues in the hill country, their location can be very cumbersome to guests. The Club at Garden Ridge really has it all! On top of that, it is absolutely GORGEOUS. Kristi was such a pleasure to work with - she's very organized, responsive, and accomodating. Our day-of coordinator, Shelia, was very sweet and kept checking on me to make sure I have everything I need. Our wedding day really couldn't have gone any more smoothly!

I found The Club at Garden Ridge on the Knot. I attended one of their sip and see events and knew right then that I wanted to book them. Kristi was so up kind and genuine. I actually booked the caterer and bar tender that were on site that day too. I can't thank Kristi and Nelly enough for all their help leading to and day of. Planning a wedding can be stressful enough but Kristi and her team made it as easier. They treat you like family here and you won't regret booking this Venu!

The venue was absolutely perfect! We wanted an indoor & outdoor venue all in one. It was perfect for out of town guests so no one had issues with travelling. The weather was perfect and everything was so beautiful. However, I lost communication with the venue coordinator 3 months before the wedding when I was trying to start the finalize details process. It took both my wedding coordinator and myself over several weeks to finally get in contact. Secondly, the bridal suite is so adorable! I wish there was a handicap accessible stall for when the bride needs to use the restroom. It was very crammed in the wedding dress in a narrow stall. Lastly, the security we hired through the vendor wasn't very professional and was rude to family members at the end of the night when packing up. If I had one complaint about my wedding day it was how the security officer treated my family and threw my decorations box down on the porch with glass. I addressed it to Kristi and she said she would follow up with the police department but seemed to defend the officer rather than just apologize. Otherwise, absolutely loved the venue and the picture perfect day I had.

Very beautiful venue and well-kept. Coodinator was extremely understanding and takes pride in what she does. Our recent wedding was a success thanks for great customer service and teamwork. Thank you Kristin!!

My sister's wedding was April 2021. Absolutely beautiful Venue with a blend of the peaceful outdoors and the comforts of indoor accommodations for a beautiful wedding. We got to use the location for the whole day from 9am to midnight. We could use the fitness center, the pool, the lake, and more while we are getting ready for my sister's big day. What was even better was the bride and groom's suites we got to use. These were excellent accommodations for the bride, groom, immediate family, and bridal party. It was nice to eat lunch together before the big day. Beautiful peaceful areas for pictures and moments with family and friends. We had several guests compliment the places they took photos at. Kristi was great to work with and made my sister feel so comfortable on her big day.

My daughter's wedding was April 2021. Vendors have built in kitchen, stage and bar areas. My daughter’s wedding left both sides of the family with beautiful memories. The Club at Garden Ridge is the most gorgeous venue! We valued their hospitality, amenities, and superb staff. Our wedding day was a dream, surrounded by a beautiful outdoor landscape. Their team truly made us feel at home and we appreciated them working with us when it came to having to reschedule our wedding. We highly recommend booking this venue!

The Club at Garden Ridge exceeded our expectations for our wedding! I at first did not want an outdoor ceremony but when we saw the venue it just took our breath away! The scenery was just gorgeous and the ballroom was so spacious. We just fell in love instantly! We loved how affordable it was compared to other venues and we loved how we got to choose our own vendors! We also liked the fact we got to stack our own bar as well. Kristi really sold us on her personality and awesome attitude! She was so kind and answered all of our questions (and we had many) up until the day of the wedding! She has a Plan B for everything including if it rains! She even took precautions right away with COVID and kept us informed up until the wedding. She made me feel so comfortable and stress free leading up to the wedding which I adored! Highly recommend the Club at Garden Ridge....believe me you won't regret it. ❤

Upon arriving to the Club at Garden Ridge for the first time, my wife and I gave eachother "The Look." It was clear that this beautiful venue was our choice for our wedding. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. The venue coordinator was extremely professional and courteous. She ensured that our wedding day was as beautiful as we had hoped for without any effort of our own on our special day. The accommodations in place for us pre-ceremony were great. My groomsmen and I had a blast at their attached indoor-pool and their Groom's Suite. When it came time for the ceremony and reception, everything went off without a hitch. The venue team made quick work of tearing down and preparing decorations and seating for each given time during our wedding. Overall, we could not be happier with our experience at the Club at Garden Ridge. If you are looking for a romantic, beautiful, and perfectly-managed venue in San Antonio, look no further than Garden Ridge.

From the moment arriving to this venue to leaving felt welcoming. Kristi’s dedication to brides to be is carried high on her shoulders. She is warm and kind and allows you to envision your unique big day by allowing you to voice your vision and concerns along the way. Although I decided to book with another venue based on location, this was the only tour with an individual that asked about our love story to get a feel of who we were as a couple which I feel is important to share for this moment in our lives. I will look to this location to book other events in my future.

From the moment we stepped on the property we knew that The Club at Garden Ridge was going to be our wedding reception venue. From the beginning Kristi was so involved and in Constant communication regarding our wedding day needs and how the club at garden ridge would be there to meet them. They provided guidance and advice throughout our whole wedding planning process. The day of was perfect! The venue is gorgeous! We got married in June! We knew this was the venue for us the day we scheduled a tour with Kristi. Kristi is so helpful and professional. She is great at answering your questions and concerns in a timely manner. The bridal/groom's suites are spacious and very clean. This is a great location to take you bridal/ engagement photos. All our guests told us how beautiful the venue is. We are so happy we had our wedding here!

Loved everything about this Venue! All of my guests were from out of town, and they were amazed at how beautiful this venue was! Kristy was a pleasure to work with and a great guide throughout this whole process. She was so kind always and answered all my questions in a timely manner. She was truly a pleasure to work with and happy she was the venue coordinator. Advice: Read the over your contract a month or two before the wedding. We had a live band, they needed "Vendor Insurance", in which we did not know about until the day before the wedding. It was in the contract, but mind you, we hadn't looked over it since we signed (April 2018) our wedding was in 11/2019. Just look over the contract to make sure you didn't miss anything! Overall LOVED the venue, the groom suite was AWESOME! As was the Bridal Suite! Loved the privacy of those rooms especially when you have a lot of guests around. Also great spots to pics!!!

This is not your average neighborhood club, that's for sure. The location was perfect for our hometown being San Antonio and us currently living in Austin. Every person on the staff that we met was dedicated to making our day worry free and getting every detail just right. The bridal suite and groom's room were perfect for our little parties of 4 (plus parents) but I imagine they could start to get crowded with too many more people than that. Our fall wedding was beautiful and we had the best weather for an outdoor ceremony. If you're even considering The Club at Garden Ridge, you have to visit; you'll fall in love the moment you walk in!

This is the most amazing venue! Kristi was so welcoming when I first toured and incredibly helpful in finding vendors that fit my needs. Our getting ready time was amazing in the bridal suite (although I really wish we also had a tv - boys are not the only ones that want to watch football). It was super spacious. We took family photos by the mantle place inside to avoid the heat, and had our first look on the reception area porch. Everything was laid out exactly as we had planned, and our venue coordinator was super helpful all day. Kristi even ran back to get my garter when I realized I had forgetten them! It was an absolute dream and I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else!

I spent a long time researching wedding venues to try and find the perfect place to fit the wedding I had dreamed of for so long, but the moment I stepped foot at The Club at Garden Ridge I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I had to get married there! The beautiful outdoor ceremony site and the rustic/elegant reception hall was everything we could have wanted. Kristi was wonderful to work with and really made us feel like part of The Club family! She was always available to answer questions or assist with anything we needed and brought so much positivity to the planning process. The wedding day was an absolute dream. We had the entire clubhouse to ourselves for getting ready and eating lunch. We had mimosas in the gorgeous bridal suite, and there was a ton of room for my bridal party to get ready. My husband was able to set up his Nintendo Switch to the TV in the groom’s suite to relax and hangout with his groomsmen before the wedding. The ceremony was amazing! Walking down the aisle and seeing my family in the beautiful white chairs and my husband under the pavilion is an image I will never forget. The reception hall was perfect for our 175 guests. They even had the freedom to hangout outside under the tree lights. At the end of the night, Kristi was outside helping everyone get their sparklers for the sendoff. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and we know that is in large part due to The Club at Garden Ridge and to Kristi! We are so thankful that we found this incredible venue!

The most BEAUTIFUL venue! We got married here in June and the entire venue and ballroom is STUNNING! Kristi was so great to work with! Every time we’d meet with her at the venue she always greeted us with a smile and a hug! The bridal suite is to die for and one of my absolute favorite things about the venue! The day of Whitney made sure we were always well taken care of and had everything I needed- we can’t thank her and Kristi enough!

The Club was the perfect place to host our wedding, and here are a few reasons why: -Gorgeous Indoor/Outdoor setting provided a picturesque outdoor ceremony spot, while offering a beautiful ballroom conveniently on the premises for the formal dinner and dancing. They maintain the grounds to perfection it seems. I love that the ballroom cottage had a wrap around porch, which worked great for our cocktail hour and pianist set up. -Experienced in events! Kristi specifically is an expert in the business, so she knows exactly who to talk to, who to hire, who NOT to hire, where to put things, etc., etc. I appreciated that she communicated only when necessary, and was always timely and professional. -Flexible come day of! My wedding coordinator (Nicolette at Chic Concepts) and the assigned Club coordinator worked out everything the day of the wedding so all I had to do was enjoy! I am still in unbelief that our wedding was perfect!! But when I look back at the pros that we hired, it makes sense. Wishing you all the best.

We fell in love with everything about this venue! The location is perfect. It’s close enough to the city yet tucked away in a quite neighborhood that makes for such a beautiful and intimate ceremony. The reception hall was so gorgeous on its own that didn’t require much decoration! Our favorite part of the venue was the outdoor ceremony area. The nature that surrounds it is stunning and also does not require much decoration. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! We felt so loved and supported by the venue manager that worked with us too! I recommend this venue because not only is it absolutely beautiful, but you are taken care of and supported by the staff!

It has been over a week since our wedding and my husband and I continue to receive many compliments regarding how beautiful this venue is. The Club at Garden Ridge was the first venue that we visited, and we are elated to have selected the Club to hold our wedding festivities. Many resources were provided to us and we were able to customize our wedding details to our preferences (including our ethnic food choice). I also have to give a huge shout-out to Kristi, the site manager. She was an absolute pleasure to work with as she supplied us with many suggestions and was very thorough and quick in communication. My wife and I searched for our dream venue and made trips to several locations before we came across Club at Garden Ridge online. We looked at all the pictures of the venue and were at a loss of words as to how perfect it looked for us. I reached out to Kristi, Venue Manager, to set up time to see the venue and she was so nice and adaptable to our schedule for us to go see. Upon our arrival, we immediately noticed a difference from other venue coordinators to Kristi. She took the time to get to know us and our story. By the end of our introduction, we felt the connection with her. We then walked around the venue and was at a loss of words as to how beautiful the venue is and how emotional we got just walking around. We loved everything we saw from the outdoor ceremony with the water fountain in the background, to the men’s cave, to the bridal suite, and to the ballroom. It was a very emotional moment as we decided during our visit to choose Club at Garden Ridge as our dream venue to get married at. Kristi and her team made us feel so welcome and they were so patient with us and helped whenever and wherever needed. All our guests told us how much they loved the venue and how beautiful it is. The experience we had at Club at Garden Ridge surpassed all our expectations and are forever grateful for Kristi and Club at Garden Ridge for being there for us through the entire process.

Kristi and her team helped our big day be the most amazing day we could have hoped for! The venue was gorgeous, nobody struggled with parking, my elderly guests were well taken care of, and the rooms for us to get ready in were everything we could have asked for. Kristi was great with communication and worked great with our wedding planner and vendor team so that everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding. We highly recommend getting married at The Club!!

Kristi and her team were AMAZING!! They took care of everything and made sure that the venue looked beautiful. The Mr. and Mrs. suites were perfect for getting ready and they were very clean! The banquet hall was beautiful and so was the ceremony site. I would HIGHLY recommend their services and venue! :)

Kristi, the venue manager, is the kindest soul! When we first visited the venue for our tour, the first thing she did was sit down with us and ask us our story. From the very begging The Club at Garden Ridge went above and beyond and far surpassed every other venue. Kristi truly cares about you as a couple and isn't just about the business of making a sale. She is super helpful any time you have any questions or concerns, and is such a comfort to out-of-town brides. She even measured the aisle for me so I my dad could work out the timing of the song he wrote! I felt at home at The Club from day one and it was a beautiful backdrop for my wedding. I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else!

Pros: Beautiful setting and very clean. Lawn sprayed for mosquitoes after so much rain. Ceremony chairs set is unusual curved configuration as requested. Venue diy friendly. Kristi (venue coordinator) communicated quickly. Small but comfortable Bride's room. Cons: • Contract clarity needed in regards to security- needed for all events regardless if alcohol served or not. • Venue not set as established on All Seated from previous meeting when we arrived morning of the wedding : (no cake table, 6’ escort card table instead of 48. The wooden table we needed to use for the ceremony was being set up as DJ sound. Never found the nicer rectangle table we were told about for the ceremony. Bridal party had to set up high boys on porch themselves). Coordinator said her set up on All Seated was different than we had established at 30 day meeting and that's what caused the missing chairs and tables, but all we saw was lots of confusion to start the day. • Negative comments from guest that the required security guard’s smoke was drifting down the porch and assaulted them when they came out of the ballroom doors. • Disappointed the fountain was not operational.

Our wedding was this past Saturday, Sept. 29. & I must say, I am so happy my now husband and I chose this venue! It is so beautiful and the ceremony site outside was breathtaking! My friend got married there a few yrs ago so we decided to tour it ourselves & said yes that same day! This venue will not disappoint. HUGE thank you to Kristi and the rest of the staff for making our wedding day very special! They made sure everything went smoothly. We had bad weather earlier in the day so we were going to go with plan b for an inside ceremony & even though that’s not what I wanted Kristi made me feel at ease about it. Luckily the rain stopped (which btw Kristi kept watching for it too!) & as soon as we saw that it would be ok to move the ceremony back outside the staff set everything up quickly! I loved my wedding ❤️ I love the venue. Everything was beautiful & exactly what I dreamed of & more! I wouldn’t change a thing & I definitely recommend this venue!

My husband and I had our wedding here back in June and it was a dream come true! Kristi was such an amazing person to work with. She will do anything in her power to make sure your day goes as planned and was always in contact with us. The club itself is such a beautiful place to get married at! I was not familiar with The Club at Garden Ridge when my son and his future bride informed me that this was the place they had chosen for their wedding and reception. After visiting the venue I was impressed with the overall appearance and options that would be made available to them but I still had no idea what to expect. The day of the wedding was hectic but the staff at TC at GR was awesome! They went above and beyond to ensure that the wedding was everything they wanted it to be. Would I recommend them to any one who may be looking for a venue for their special event or occasion? Absolutely!!

When we started our search for a venue, we wanted a beautiful, elegant venue that was within our budget, and could fit around 200 people. The Club at Garden Ridge easily checked these boxes. The ceremony takes place outside, at a gazebo overlooking a gorgeous lake. This area was right next to the large reception hall, which itself is also very nice on the eyes. The hall easily fits 200 guests with plenty of room for a dance floor, as well as a caterer/bartender-friendly bar/kitchen, a bar, and a stage for your DJ. The pictures you might see in these reviews won’t do any justice – you NEED to come for a tour to look around! At the end of the wedding night, many guests asked our wedding party how we found such a beautiful venue.

We had such a lovely experience having our wedding reception held here! We were able to use to venue the whole day which made setting up vendors extremely easy. We had a beautiful cocktail hour at the main entrance to the club with a bar outside and then followed that with our reception in the main ballroom! The parking was very easy for our guests and my guest count of 200 fit perfectly in the ballroom! The venue was clean and gorgeous even during the "wedding off season" for a January wedding. We had such a memorable night here and are so thankful for such a wonderful experience.

Absolutely loved it! It fit our “theme” of rustic yet beautiful and simple. The venue was so beautiful that not a ton of decorating was needed. We got so many compliments of the location, the fountains in the pond and the deer. They were very attentive and responsive and we loved every moment of it! It really did make for a fairytale night pictures. My only complaints were that the reception hall was so stinkin hot- not only myself and husband but the guests were complaining as well. The on-site coordinator had turned the AC as low as it would go and had the fans on (didn’t make too much of a difference). Also, Bartenders4You wouldn’t use the venue’s beer cooler since they said it doesn’t get cold enough so we had to lug in and out 3 large coolers for them to serve from.

Facility was great, staff was very friendly and helpful and accommodating. The facility is very well maintained. The Gazebo for the ceremony was gorgeous. The reception space was very comfortable for the 150 guests; a modern rustic theme was perfect for our fall wedding.

Beautiful venue, rude/closed-minded staff

Such a nice venue and very affordable! Our friends and family loved the ballroom. Kristi was also very helpful and was willing to give suggestions to ensure our wedding went smoothly. The only negative thing about the venue is the children playing in the pool while my fiancé and I did our first look. They close the venue to the public an hour before the ceremony so if you choose to do a first look expect to hear and see families enjoying the indoor pool.

The Club at Garden Ridge was the perfect setting for capturing lifetime memories of a beautiful wedding for our daughter and son-in-law on September 16, 2017. When we first visited, we were immediately captivated with the venue. Yes, we did visit other venues, but no others compared to the amenities offered at the Club. Working with Kristi, the Club’s Weddings and Events Manager, from the onset was pleasurable; guidance provided, always responsive, a consummate professional. The Club’s day-of staff were on top of it, the venue was set-up as planned and was exactly as we had envisioned. It was absolutely stunning! Holly was attentive to details, met our needs and stayed with us to the end of the evening, helping us gather our belongings and depart on time. Thank you to a fabulous team!! The venue’s accommodations were inviting, relaxing and beautifully furnished; the Bridal Suite, Groom’s Man Cave and Family Lounge large and private, ideal for getting ready. The Gazebo on the lake, with the water fountain in the background, surrounded by lush landscaped grounds was the picture-perfect backdrop for a heavenly Wedding Ceremony officiated by Pastor Dale! The spacious ballroom was elegantly staged for an enchanting evening of celebration; highlighting delectable foods, drinks and a fun-filled dance floor. Our family and friends are still raving about it! We sincerely thank all of you that had a hand in making it happen! Recently I attended my cousins wedding at the Club at Garden Ridge. The setting was beautiful and the rustic feel of the venue was very inviting. There were even free range deer on the drive in. The ceremony was performed in a large gazebo in front of a lake with a fountain in the background. Prior to the wedding the Bridal party was treated to furnished suites to relax and get ready in. The reception was held in the ballroom that was big enough to hold our large crazy family. The night went off without a hitch thanks to Colleen who works for the venue who worked tirelessly to meet everyone's needs. Great experience and great location.

Our wedding day was amazing!! The grounds made for beautiful photos. I especially enjoyed the bridal suite. My girls and I could relax and get ready. It's a stunning area. The guys took advantage of the indoor basketball court in the adjoining fitness center before it was time to get down to business!! Kristi is awesome. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She and her staff go out of their way to make sure everything goes smoothly. Thank you again!

I highly recommend this venue. We had my daughters ceremony and reception here. The grounds are beautiful with many different areas for pictures. We had use of the club with great bride and groom rooms as well as the reception hall. We had over 200 guests and we had plenty of room for tables and dancing. The cost was very reasonable and nicer than some of the other venues at twice the price. Kristi was a pleasure to work with and was extremely accommodating.. She had a great list of vendors that we used and we were very pleased with the results. Heather Gaftke was our wedding coordinator and she did a wonderful job. She is extremely organized and her follow-up was excellent. She made sure everything went smoothly . I highly recommend "TheClub at Garden Ridge", Kristi and Heather. This past weekend we had our amazing wedding Celebration. the Club at Garden Ridge helped us through every step of our day. Christie helped walk us through each phase of the day and the weeks leading up to our big day. we were connected online by All seated, which helped me plan every detail, with ease wherever I was. The venue was beautiful and not only fit our perfect day, but would be the perfect place for any celebration.

We recently celebrated an anniversary at the club and can't thank them enough for an excellent experience. Not only was it a beautiful venue, but we enjoyed the added blessing of a great event coordinator in Kristi DeBaun. Kristi was fantastic from beginning to end, accommodating and patient and even giving good suggestions to make the event better. She is VERY nice and ensured that our event was a success. I would highly recommend this venue.

We are so happy that we picked The Club at Garden Ridge as our wedding venue! We received so many compliments about the venue from our guests. Kristi was available to answer our questions and provide her opinions throughout the planning process. The day-of staff were amazing! We were granted access to all areas (as promised) at 9am. The Bridal Lounge and Grooms Cave were awesome. Someone even took the time to stock beverages for us prior to our arrival in bride/groom suites. The clubhouse allowed my family a place to hang out and eat throughout the day while everyone was helping out with wedding set up. A lot of places don't have a dedicated clubhouse for bride, groom, and their entourage as well. They asked us several times if we needed anything and told us if they would be away at any times. The ballroom still smells new, and it's so beautiful you hardly need any extra decor. Just be prepared to be able to find your own vendors or hire a planner to help coordinate this for you because the pricing only includes the venue rental. All in all, so very pleased with everything the venue had to offer. Beautiful spot. Great staff. Thank you Club af Garden Ridge!

I searched many venues in my area and as soon as I saw this place, it took my breath away. It was everything I dreamed of. The staff is awesome and very helpful. Kristi was a very big help she had ideas and recommendations that I loved. Because of this beautiful venue and wonderful staff my event was out of this world. My family and friends are still wowed by this place as I am. Everything about The Club At Garden Ridge is Top Notch all the way

The Club at Garden Ridge is the perfect venue. The new reception hall is perfect - the beautiful white rock and chandeliers, to the perfectly designed stage area for the DJ and the built in bar for bartenders. The hall has everything you could need. The outside ceremony gazebo is just as wonderful. As a wedding vendor, we work with tons of different vendors and Kristi and her staff at The Club at Garden Ridge were all a joy to work with and so very helpful! I would recommend this venue to any bride!

This was the second place we looked at for venues and I instantly fell in love. I loved the area and the scenery. Everyone in my family raved about how beautiful the place was and I will forever remember it. I highly recommend them for anyone's wedding, you will not be disappointed!!

While my now husband and I had a difficult time finding a venue, we are hoping to make your life much easier than ours. Put the Club at Garden Ridge as a priority and a must see and you will find that very few will be able to compare. Speak with their staff and you’ll be able to cut your search for a venue short, as they are second to none. The venue had every amenity expected and then some. The Venue itself is beautiful and the ceremony area picturesque. They also have awesome bridal and groom suites that were well kept and a great place to prep and relax prior to your “big moment.” Kristi and Anna were excellent. They were both accommodating, friendly, and exceptional to work with making sure “your night” will be a memorable one. We are definitely pleased with our choice and you will be as well.
