The Club at Strawberry Creek

Strawberry Creek is the place to go! I couldn't have asked for anything better for a venue, and working with Mary was a breeze! I couldn't imagine a better venue, food, cake, or anything. It was so convenient to have everything at Strawberry Creek! Working with less people made it so much LESS stressful. Strawberry Creek includes the food, cake, and "coordinator." Mary was the person of contact for all things wedding and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was so kind, and she made everything so easy for us; which is exactly what you want. Mary helped with every little detail and thought of things along the way, especially if we didn't think of it. My husband and I are still getting the best feedback from our wedding. Their staff is absolutely amazing, everything was perfect. Strawberry Creek is absolutely beautiful and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to this venue.

As a Mother if the Bride, I can’t say enough good things! Not only is it beautiful but Mary at Strawberry Creek is phenomenal! Not only did the bride and groom have their dream wedding but our guests have just raved about the lovely venue, the great service and the delicious food! It was perfect and that’s not something that just happens with luck. All the staff’s hard work paid off and is very much appreciated! We couldn’t be more pleased.

We are extremely happy with everything about the wedding. When I talked to my daughter at brunch on Sunday she said the day was perfect, and it was! We could not be more pleased. All of the family raved about the venue, the food, the service, and so on. Even my 93-year-old mother said it was the classiest wedding she’s ever been to. Ever! Mary is an excellent coordinator. We are all still enjoying the all the feelings and the happy couple are on cloud nine. Thank you again so much for all the effort you put into making the day so special.

We highly recommend The Club at Strawberry Creek! Our wedding was held May 8, 2021, and everything went perfectly! It was awesome working with Mary Fredericks, the event coordinator. From the time we booked through the wedding day, Mary was attentive and made planning easy even though we had to postpone the wedding twice due to the pandemic. Mary’s communication was fantastic during the whole process– she was there to take care of everything and always promptly returned our emails. The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious, everything was wonderful! Our outdoor ceremony was lovely and all the natural beauty and landscaping was perfect and made for stunning photos. We even had the rehearsal dinner at the Grill at Strawberry Creek, which is a cool, fun pub atmosphere. We’re so happy we chose the Club at Strawberry Creek for our wedding!

There is not one ounce of my being that regrets having my wedding reception at The Club at Strawberry Creek. The simple, yet elegant ballroom features a great set-up and a breath-taking view. Everything about The Club is BEAUTIFUL - the grounds, the lobby, the bridal suite, the building itself....even the restrooms! Not only did I love the facilities, but I'm forever grateful for our AMAZING wedding coordinator, Malina. Malina helped me throughout the planning process by providing gentle reminders and advice, accommodating my many requests and helping me coordinate several elements of the big day including, the timeline, the seating chart and the set-up/tear-down of decorations. Having a kind and helpful go-to girl like Malina was invaluable. Having my wedding reception at The Club at Strawberry Creek was a dream come true!

Mary was our coordinator here, and I can't explain enough how awesome she was. She helped with everything we needed help with, and was always prompt with responding to emails and questions! The venue itself is beautiful, we held our ceremony outdoors- which was beautiful- even better that the pool isn't open during September- and indoors for the reception was equally as beautiful with the large windows! All servers and bar staff were fantastic. Staff helped set up everything i needed help with on the day of as far as decorations go. Mary was there whenever we needed her and we couldn't be more thankful! The food was so great, I got nothing but positive reviews on the prime rib, garlic chicken, and parmesan arancini. The only downside I would mention is that unfortunately there aren't many photos spots, because golfers are occupying the course we couldn't venture out to find good areas and were limited to a small section. But none the less, the pictures were still beautiful and everyone had a fantastic time. This is a great place if you're looking to be less stressed because it comes as a package deal, including your wedding cake, food, tables and linens, and ceremony site was a huge bonus for us, and they also provide you with a pamphlet of outside vendors which was helpful as well! The bridal suite is also a plus, but beware that they do tours for other brides looking to book here, while you are in the room... Thankfully we were all dressed when they came in because that could have been bad. I would recommend Strawberry Creek if you're looking for a great venue!

Wow!!! The Club at Strawberry Creek and their wedding planner, Mary, made my daughter’s wedding reception experience a dream come true. The venue itself is so beautiful and everything was handled seamlessly by Mary. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for your wedding!

I've lived in Kenosha my whole life and I've never been to an event at Strawberry Creek - its hidden off of highway 50 and its well worth taking the visit there to see what they have to offer. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Mary and her entire staff at Strawberry Creek. From the first day we met with Mary to our wedding say she was simply amazing and extremely accommodating. Mary was very quick to respond to emails no matter what time of day it was. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, we ended up having our dress rehearsal dinner down stairs at the grill restaurant - it was perfect! Our wedding party enjoyed the atmosphere along with the food and drinks. The day of the wedding, Mary took care of everything for us, we were able to take in every moment and enjoy the day. Our guest could not stop taking about the excellent level of service and how great the food was - this place does not serve your typical 'wedding food'. They work with Lovin' Oven for your wedding day cake and they are an amazing bakery - not a piece of cake was left. We don't have one bad thing to say about Strawberry Creek - literally everything was PERFECT! We would highly recommend this venue!

The Club at Strawberry Creek was the perfect venue for our wedding. The ballroom is bright and clean and absolutely beautiful. Many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was and we were able to take pictures with our bridal party outside on the golf course. We worked with Mary to help coordinate our day and from the beginning, she was responsive, attentive, helpful, accommodating, kind, and patient. She went above and beyond to make sure things were in line for both our rehearsal dinner and reception and truly made me feel like I could make the day what I wanted. Our weekend was problem-free and the reception was perfect thanks to Mary and the whole team at Strawberry.

I had my wedding ceremony (indoor) and reception at the Club at Strawberry Creek and I couldn't have been happier. Mary Frederick was our event coordinator and she is amazing! Very detail oriented and responsive to make sure we got the wedding of our dreams. All of the employees and servers at the Club demonstrated outstanding customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone! I am so happy that I chose this location. I wouldn't change a single thing.

Strawberry Creek gave us everything we hoped for AND more! From the moment we walked in and saw the views of the pristine golf course, we knew we were in love. Shawni was there for us every step of the way, even through the million questions I asked! The food was amazing, all of our guests were in love with their meal and the cake (included) was perfection!! I would not hesitate one second to book Strawberry Creek again!

All I can say is WOW! From start to finish this venue exceeded our expectations. The icing on the cake was our wedding coordinator, Mary. She made the process so simple and really helped to guide us through the decision making process. You receive a list of vendors they recommend to help you narrow down your search for a florist, DJ, photographer, etc. which was extremely helpful for a indecisive bride. The day of I was totally stress free because I knew Mary had everything handled. She was always responsive when I sent my crazy list of questions and never judged. 100% would recommend. The location is absolutely stunning and our guests are still talking about the view off of the balcony! Also, everything is extremely affordable considering everything that is included in the package. Best experience ever!

My husband and I got married at The Club at Strawberry Creek on July 14, 2018. As soon as we walked into the ballroom at Strawberry Creek, I knew I wanted to have our reception at this location. The ballroom is unlike any venue we've ever been to. The room has several windows that look out over the beautiful golf course which make for amazing pictures both inside the ballroom and out on the course. We worked with Shawni, and she made sure that every detail came together perfectly for our big day. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the food, service, and overall experience was at The Club at Strawberry Creek. We highly recommend this location, and we can't wait to go back for our one year anniversary dinner!

We had our wedding at The Club at Strawberry Creek on 6.23.18 and I cannot even begin to explain how amazing it was ! From the staff to the food to the beautiful venue and everything in between we had such a great experience. Our wedding coordinator was Shawni and she was there for us from the moment we booked to the end of the wedding. She answered all of our questions throughout the planning process as well as being with us the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly. She made sure we had an absolutely perfect day ! My daughter was married at The Club at Strawberry Creek a week and a half ago, and I’m receiving so many fabulous compliments about her wedding reception venue! Not only was the venue gorgeous (inside and out), but everyone is very complimentary of the food, which is great! My personal interactions with the staff at the Club at Strawberry Creek have all been very positive. I have to give a special shout out, however, to Mary Frederick, our wedding coordinator at Strawberry Creek. Mary was so accommodating and one of the most patient and calm people I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with throughout the wedding planning. No matter how many questions I had, she was polite and gracious, and I really appreciated that. I’m very happy that my daughter chose Strawberry Creek as her venue, and I would HIGHLY recommend site to anyone looking to book their wedding reception. It’ll be one of the best and easiest decisions you will make!

I could not be happier with my wedding. The Club at Strawberry Creek was everything I hoped for and more. All of the details of the day were meticulous handled by Malina who also was wonderful during the entire planning process. My husband I were married at The Club at Strawberry Creek in September 2017 and it was the most perfect venue for our wedding. The venue itself is gorgeous and well-maintained. We did not need to bring in a ton of extra decor because the space (those views!) is so beautiful on its own. There is no need to go elsewhere to take photos and so many of our guests complimented our choice of venue. Mary Frederick was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic from the get-go. She was very professional and sweet, incredibly patient with all of my questions (and there were a lot of them!), always prompt in returning a call or email, and overall was just wonderful to work with. I really cannot say enough about Mary – she and the rest of the staff are just top-notch. There are of course some rules, as it is a private country club, but we found Strawberry Creek to be flexible and very easy to work with – whatever we wanted to do, Mary made it happen. A major plus to Strawberry Creek for us was that it was a one-stop-shop for so many of things we needed. There were no upcharges for the colored linens I wanted, they had centerpieces available for us to use (we used bits and pieces of what they had available and brought in floral centerpieces), and they use the Lovin' Oven Cakery for their cakes (which was fantastic, by the way). There is so much that they include that would have cost extra elsewhere. The food – oh my gosh, the food! – was beyond fantastic. Every single thing we ate on our wedding day (from the bridal party lunch all the way to the late night snack) was wonderful and so many of our guests have told us that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We were really blown away by the food and we are already looking forward to eating there for our anniversary. 5 stars is not enough – The Club at Strawberry Creek absolutely exceeded our expectations.

This venue is absolutely beautiful! Mary our coordinator was such a delight to work with! She was very helpful up to the last minute when we needed to rearrange table seating and add more guests. We ended up being there so late and she stayed the whole time with a smile on her face and not once trying to kick us out. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner! The food was amazing, the wait staff and bar tenders all great as well. All of our guests raved about the venue and food! Everything just went perfectly for our special day, my husband and I have absolutely no regrets here!

Malina continue to ensure that everything would be perfect and was always there to answer any questions we may have. The day went seamlessly and was absolutely beautiful! We have received nothing but compliments on how gorgeous the venue was and how delicious the food was, if I could give this place 10 Stars I would in a heartbeat! 5 stars doesn't even begin to let you know how pleased we were with our daughter's wedding on May 27th! From our very first meeting with Malina and seeing Strawberry Creek we knew this was the perfect venue. I can't begin to express my gratitude to Malina, she is so professional and made the whole process such a wonderful experience for my daughter and I. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious. We had so many compliments. Thank you to everyone at Strawberry Creek that made our daughters wedding everything we dreamed of.

From the moment my Husband and I walked into Strawberry Creek we just knew this was the place to celebrate our forever life together. The pictures simply do not do it justice; the entire place is simply gorgeous and kept in pristine condition. We were fortunate enough to work with Mary Frederick, who to put it simply, was perfect. She was so quick to respond whenever I had a question/comment/concern, which helps put you at rest when you are planning one of the biggest days of your life, your wedding! I do not have a single negative thing to say about our experience working with SC. Their food options were delicious, working with Lovin-Oven for the cake was amazing, and the staff the day of the wedding was terrific- just to name a few things!! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone; you will not be disappointed but instead overjoyed.

Positives: We had our wedding ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner at Strawberry Creek this past fall. The location for the ceremony makes for a great backdrop for pictures. My wife and I chose to do a first look. The staff brought me back with a golf cart to a beautiful bridge where the first look took place. Later they brought my wife out when I had my back turned. It made for good photos. All the food was amazing and the portions were very large! We received so many compliments. The reception hall is large enough for 250, however, we feel 200 is the ideal size. They did not have to seat anyone on the dance floor, which was important to us since our cake was setup on the dance floor until we cut it. Our wedding was 209 people so it made for one less than ideal table placement. Mary was very responsive to emails any day of the week. We would definitely recommend having your wedding here. You will not be disappointed with the experience and planning process and your guests will be very impressed with everything. If distance to hotels is a concern, Hampton Inn offers free shuttles to guests if your wedding guests book enough rooms. Negatives: We setup some of our decorations the night before the wedding. Unfortunately, they were taken down by the morning cleaning crew. The entire staff was very quick to help rectify the situation. The complimentary lunch for the wedding party was also delayed, however, the situation was corrected quickly.

We currently live out of town, but wanted to have our wedding in my hometown of Kenosha. We looked everywhere from Chicago to Milwaukee to find the perfect venue for our wedding reception. I can say very confidently that Strawberry Creek is hands-down the best venue in the Kenosha area, when it comes down to functionality, versatility, beauty and cost! This is not your typical banquet room (a giant drab room that you have to create the atmosphere), the hall within Strawberry Creek has its own sense of elegance from the wood details, to the outside deck, to the giant landscape window overlooking the golf course. To top things off, this was one of the few places where the coordinator that we worked with (Mary Frederick) was genuinely into helping create our day. She was easy to talk to, get hold of, and willing to work with us to make our day a reality. My husband and I agree that choosing Strawberry Creek as our venue was one of the easiest decisions we made, and given the chance to go back, we would make the same decision again!

At first they were one of my favorite vendors. It was absolutely gorgeous. However, they do not bargain at all. You will not get a discount on food at all… They “threw in” top shelf, but everyone does… AND my aunt was making my cake, but their price included a cake, the only thing they would give us in place of the cake was up-lighting – but we didn’t even want up-lighting! But, we loved the place, so we went over budget and kept our wedding at Strawberry Creek. The person I originally met with quit, so we started working with Mary. She was straight-forward, but still pretty nice. During the planning process, she was great – she got back to me within a day, answered all of my questions, and helped make decisions. She also let me know that during the wedding day the bridal party would have to pay for their drinks and that we can’t use the bar next to our dressing rooms because it’s for “members only”. This put me off a bit, but we agreed and let our bridal party know. When my wedding day came, the guys and girls arrived and had lunch separately. When I arrived with my bridesmaids, one of the girls asked our waitress if we could order drinks. The waitress turned around with her face in a knot and asked what we wanted with an attitude. I thought it was because we interrupted her or something. NO, apparently she was like this with the guys too the entire time. And, she would not leave the room to put in the drink orders until she had payment. So, everyone is scrambling to get their cards and she gets all huffy-puffy. Throughout the day we had to hunt her down to place orders. She wouldn’t come back for over an hour and we were there all day!! Every time we went to find her we got yelled at for going to the bar and she came back with an attitude like it’s a huge inconvenience. Pictures were AMAZING. This is why I chose this venue. There is not one picture without a gorgeous background. After pictures, we were all in the Groom’s room having drinks. We invited the wedding party dates into the room to hang with us. (After all, they’re a big part of our lives too!) ….THEY WERE KICKED OUT. And, when I told Mary that I didn’t mind if they were in there, she said they have to get out anyways….. The wedding ceremony was amazing and Mary was attentive for this part and helped us get all lined up and ready to go in. After the ceremony, we were taking family pictures in front of the fire place. We made sure that the rest of the wedding guests made their way into the reception for cocktail hour. So, there were less people near the fireplace. At one point MARY CAME OVER AND TOLD US TO QUIET DOWN BECAUSE THEY HAVE “MEMBERS IN THE DINING AREA”. I’m sorry HOW MUCH ARE WE PAYING TO BE HERE?!?! And the guests that are dining are paying what? $100 per table??? Really??? This was SO embarrassing!!!! Luckily, my photographer has a sense of humor and told us to get REAL loud for our next photo and everyone GLADLY yelled. The rest of the wedding was amazing. The terrible waitress left and the bartenders were AWESOME. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! Seriously, I have never seen so much food served at a wedding before – this is definitely their strength!!! Everything was cooked to perfection. We all had a great time at the reception, got a little crazy, and went back to the hotel for the after-party. All-in-all it was a great success, but they sure do have a lot of “rules”….

Beautiful venue!! Loved everything about it. Their wedding package is great too, you'll get a wedding planner with it (Mary) and she is amazing, making sure everything goes perfectly.

I can't say enough about The Club at Strawberry Creek!! This place is absolutely amazing-from the food, to the location, the ample parking, the views, the cleanliness, and lastly the phenomenal staff here!! We worked with Malina Potts, the event manager, and she was so organized, professional, extremely sweet, and just a pleasure to work with! I promise you future brides, BOOK HERE, because you will not be disappointed with the venue and all the wonderful perks that are included within!

We had a BEAUTIFUL July wedding. From day one of our planning Mary Fredrick was very helpful. Strawberry Creek was our dream wedding venue and everyone that attended our wedding is still talking about it. The food was delicious especially the strawberry salad. They have many wonderful things that are included in their pricing which we really liked. The cake was included and is from Lovin Oven and we will also receive a complimentary meal on our one year anniversary. It truly was a pleasure being there and I wish we could relive the experience every day. Love love love

My son and (now) daughter were recently married at The Club at Strawberry Creek. They live in Florida due to my son’s job, so I was their designated “wedding coordinator.” As a result, I was very hands-on with everything from the venue to the florist. I simply cannot say enough good things about The Strawberry Creek venue and our event coordinator, Malina. In fact, a couple of days after the wedding my son, my (new) daughter and I were discussing how we all felt about the reception and we all agreed that not one thing could have gone better (NOT ONE THING!). We heard from countless guests via text, social media and before they reluctantly left that night (the reception ended at midnight and our guests were so sad it was over!!) that it was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings they had ever attended… Many commented that the other weddings they were attending in the near future would be “hard-pressed to compare.” And we owe so much of that to Malina and Strawberry Creek. Honestly, the whole night was just sort of magical. From the beautiful on-site ceremony under the pergola to the sunset grand entrance to the delicious cocktail hour and dinner/open bar – it could not have been more perfect. Most of the vendors we chose (like DJ, florist, etc.) had worked previously with Strawberry Creek, which made everything run extra smoothly – like a well-oiled machine. There really is just something special about the ballroom there! My husband and I have three more children and we would absolutely love it if all of them chose Strawberry Creek for their weddings. It was one of the most memorable and wonderful nights of both the groom’s and the bride’s families – EVER!

The best venue I've ever been too! The staff, especially Malina, went above and beyond to make my wedding visions a reality! Everything was perfect and I can't thank Malina enough for all that she did! The food was amazing, best wedding food we have ever had!

Our wedding was perfect! The Club at Strawberry Creek provided us with a beautiful, scenic, warm and friendly environment for our wedding - not to mention the incredibly delicious food. Our guests raved about our wedding, from the stunning ballroom with gorgeous views of the golf course, to the amazing food and to the wonderful staff. The team at The Club at Strawberry Creek - most notably Malina, Mary, Kory and Miguel - were a pleasure to work with. Everyone contributed with great attention to detail and was accommodating to our requests. Our wedding day, from getting ready, to the ceremony and through the reception, was flawless! I had such an amazing experience at this venue for my wedding day. Malina was so sweet and everything about the wedding planning was made so easy. They take care of you very well here. I thought I'd be a hot mess on the day, but I was calm and very relaxed. This gorgeous venue was everything that I ever dreamed of. The food was delicious and the views were breathtaking. I couldn't have picked a better location.

We had the ceremony inside in front of the fireplace and the reception in a ballroom. Mary is very experienced with planning/coordinating but can be pushy to stick with "traditional". The whole planning process was a little challenging partly due to me being an out of state bride but was still fairly simple, just be very clear with any email communication. Strawberry Creek deserves a 5/5 but the day before and the day of the wedding a few things stressed me out and irritated me. Our wedding was on a Sunday so our rehearsal was on Saturday night around 6:30.... while another wedding was going on. Our bridal party arrived and the other wedding was taking pictures where we were practicing and lingering around. The day of our wedding, I arrived with my bridesmaids to get ready at noon and Mary was constantly bringing prospective brides and/or families in to tour the bride's room... there had to be AT LEAST 4 tours within the 3 hours we were getting ready. The groom and groomsmen were scheduled to arrive at 2:30 and hangout in the board room until ceremony time and Mary just so happened to have another meeting scheduled in there with prospective couples, so my husband had nowhere to go. They ended up sitting around in the restaurant area upstairs. They work exclusively with Lovin Oven Cakery (the cake is included with the venue). Until I asked, I had no idea what was happening with the cake and I felt that I was just expected to figure it out. Meeting with Erica, the cakery's planner, was easy and the cake incredible. It turned out exactly how we wanted.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the way our wedding turned out at The Club at Strawberry Creek! From our first meeting with Mary we knew that we had a great team of people who wanted to ensure our day turned out perfectly. Mary was very helpful and pleasant to work with even when some of my requests were a bit out of the norm. The service was exceptional and elegant. My husband and I are so happy we chose Strawberry Creek and cannot wait to celebrate our one year anniversary there with a complementary dinner =)

We originally had our hearts set on a different location prior to seeing Strawberry Creek...we were immediately sold on the rustic beauty that went perfectly with our winter wedding. The venue is newer and very clean...doesn't have that weird smell that most venues had. Everyone including us raved about the food. The apps were delicious, the main course was delicious, and even the evening snack (we served pizza) was amazing! Most venues serve the steaks over cooked....not here, for the meat eaters the New York strip came perfectly cooked and the serving size did not leave anyone hungry! Mary our wedding coordinator. Mary was wonderful, responsive, and very personable. I could not have asked for a better person to be there for us. This Venue was wonderful from start to finish!

Words can truly describe how perfect Strawberry Creek helped to make our wedding absolutely stunning. The ability to have a candle lit ceremony in front of the stone fire place to being able to step outside of the box for our reception had our guests blown away. Malina was amazing to deal with and I do not think that the word "No" or the phase "sorry you can't do that" ever came from her mouth. Malina made our day so smooth. The food was savory and the wait and bar staff attended to every guests needs.

Choosing a venue is one of the biggest decisions to make while wedding planning, and thankfully it was also the best decision I made! I was married at Strawberry Creek on 12/19/15. The Club at Strawberry Creek was a perfect wedding venue for so many reasons. One of the most important reasons was our wedding coordinator, Malina. She was amazing during the entire process! Any question I had, she had the answer and responded quickly. I joked that if I was feeling stressed about wedding planning, I would just give Malina a call and everything would be sorted out. She ensured everything would run smoothly from start to finish! Our ceremony was in front of the fireplace in the Front Hall and the reception immediately followed in the ballroom. We also had access to the beautiful bridal suite all day, starting at 8:00 a.m. The fact that every part of our day was at one location made everything so much easier, and even saved us money on some of our other vendors since they didn't have to travel to multiple locations. There are so many seemingly small details that are included in their package that are not included most places which really end up saving time, money, stress, and effort. Things such as the wedding cake, lunch the day of the wedding, menu cards, table numbers, clean-up (and we were able to come back the following day to get our stuff), etc are all a part of their packages. If you are considering Strawberry Creek, don't look any further! You will have a wonderful wedding experience here.

We were married at Strawberry Creek on August 1, 2015. Thankfully the weather was perfect, so we were able to utilize the outdoor space for our ceremony. We could not have asked for a more gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony. I cannot speak for other seasons, but if you are having a wedding here during the summer months, don't bother with decorations outside. All we did was add mason jars with baby's breath to the chairs at the ends of the aisle, and it was perfect. The flowers behind the pergola are stunning. The golf course itself is beautiful, and you really don't need to travel elsewhere to get great pictures of your day. The bride and groom get taken out separately onto the course, and we even got to drive our own golf cart. It made for some great pictures. I cannot say enough about the food. We chose the dijon salmon, garlic chicken, and risotto. We received so many compliments in regards to all three meals, and I really wish I could eat there any time I want. I would get the risotto every time! We had open bar the entire night, and a wedding of about 175 guests. Aside from the initial rush when the bars opened, there was never a wait for drinks. The bar staff did a great job of getting the drinks out quickly. The staff was very polite and helpful. We worked with Mary to plan and coordinate everything, and I couldn't have done this without her. The only possible negative I would say is that SC states they hold up to 250 guests. This is obviously true, but I think anything over 200 would probably make for a pretty crowded reception hall. I would highly recommend SC to anyone looking for a classy, romantic setting for their wedding.

Words can't describe how beautiful & perfect Strawberry Creek has made our big day!! The setting is gorgeous, the staff & our coordinator, Mary, were spot on the whole night & throughout the 1 1/2 years of planning!! The food was THE BEST FOOD every to be had at a wedding & let alone in general. We had Citrus Salmon & Filet Mignon!! Many, many compliments that this was the best steak people have ever had!! We also had amazing hor dourves, including the BEST coconut shrimp!! I VERY HIGHLY recommend Strawberry Creek!! It truly made our special day even more special!! We wouldn't have changed 1 thing & owe a lot of that to Mary & the staff!!

My husband and I could not have asked for anything more. Malina, the event coordinator, was phenomenal and took every ounce of stress off out shoulders. From our first meeting to the day after our wedding, she was there to accommodate for all of our wants and needs. Our guests cannot stop talking about how smooth everything went and just how amazing everything flowed together. We simply cannot speak highly enough about Malina, the waitresses, and every employee at Strawberry Creek for giving us the most amazing experience.

As the groom, it didn't take long to be sold on Strawberry Creek...have you seen that golf course? The bride, too, was a quick sell when she found out Strawberry Creek has "colored linens"...I'm still not even sure what that means. Honestly, as I sit here and think back about my experience at Strawberry Creek, there are memories I'll have forever that go far beyond just that 1 very special day, even going back to day 1 when we saw the place. We had already toured dozens of venues and were getting somewhat exhausted with the process and dreading touring venues. So it was a relief when we walked into the establishment. Apparently love at first site applies to more than just when my wife met me. ;) In all seriousness, our experience there was so unbelievable, it kind of makes me sad that it's all over. Malina Potts is probably the best wedding coordinator of all time. We would have not survived or even made it to the big day if it wasn't for Malina. Malina takes the time and energy to get to know her clients so that she can have a deep understanding of what it will take to make their night perfect; and she did. Malina was incredibly nice, incredible patient and wanted to make sure every tiny detail was executed to perfection. Even I was blown away when I walked into the room and experienced the execution of all the planning her and my wife did during the past 11 months. She successfully kept a few planning secrets from multiple people (I surprised the bride with glasses and beers that had our last name and her grandmother surprised all of us with her world famous banana cupcakes) that we found out about the moment of walking into the hall. Throughout the 11-month planning process, Malina exceeded expectations as a wedding coordinator and even became a friend. We're looking forward to seeing her when we return for our 1 year anniversary dinner, another perk of Strawberry Creek. There are a ton of venues out there. But don't bother looking beyond Strawberry Creek.

I fell in love with Strawberry Creek the moment I walked in and knew it was where I wanted my husband and I to get married. We met with Malina, who was our wedding event coordinator. She was amazing! Always very responsive to emails and phone calls which made the planning process go more smoothly. The day of our wedding was great, they served us a free lunch as we were getting ready in the bridal suite, Malina and the staff set up all the decorations for the ceremony and even wiped down all the chairs after it had rained a bit before the ceremony! Our guests loved the food and Strawberry Creek includes your wedding cake as part of the cost, as they work with a bakery in IL. And the cake is very delicious! The venue itself is beautiful and our guests were able to enjoy the golf course views from the outside patio area. Thank you to Malina and all the staff for a wonderful experience and low stress wedding planning!

I have just began the process at Strawberry Creek, but I must say the service is TOP notch! Malina is a very detailed professional planner and has helped make my decision to choose this venue very easy! We booked and started the process with such ease and have been treated very well! I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat!

We recently had our wedding reception at Strawberry Creek and it was the best night of our lives! From the very beginning, working with Malina, the event coordinator, was easy and enjoyable. She was very responsive and helpful in all ways. The venue is gorgeous - the ballroom is lined with windows overlooking the golf course and the room is light and bright. Our guests are still commenting about how great the food was - the filet mignon and garlic parmesan chicken were delicious! The staff in addition to Malina were very helpful - I was able to drop off all of my decorations and such a few days before the event and they took care of setting everything up for us and it turned out perfect! During the reception, the servers were prompt and the coordination between everyone was wonderful. I can't say enough great things about this venue and the people that work there. They definitely helped make our wedding reception one to remember!

The Club at Strawberry Creek provided amazing service for our wedding. The wedding planner was quick to return calls and emails during the planning process. She was a huge help and made the whole process stress free. The food was great! The facility is beautiful and clean. I loved that the package included all the fees and I didn't have to worry about hidden costs. The cost also included, champagne toast, cake, linens, table numbers, centerpieces and menu cards! I couldn't have been more happy with the way our wedding turned out!

This location is a hidden gem! The ballroom's view is absolutely breathtaking, the grounds are well kept, and the building itself is stunning, clean, and new! My wedding was absolutely everything I ever dreamed of and it couldn't have happened without Colette, their event planner. I contacted her more than a year and a half before my wedding and had MANY questions, changes, revisions throughout the planning process. Colette was patient and more importantly she LISTENED to me and helped me create my dream wedding. From the rehearsal dinner, to the ceremony in the Great Hall, to the reception, Colette was involved 100% and made sure my husband and I were happy. She also worked within a rather tight budget and never made me feel pressure to spend more than I felt comfortable with. My guests were blown away with the venue; the ceremony was beautiful, the reception space was gorgeous overlooking amazing views, the food was wonderful and the alcohol was not watered down. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The best part about this experience is I didn't break the bank getting married here! Colette worked with me to work within my budget and she nailed it. YOU HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Strawberry Creek. From the start, Malina was very helpful. She was always prompt with answering all of the questions we had. We had originally planned for an outside ceremony but the weather had other plans. Everything was organized for an inside ceremony the day off and actually turned out to be beautiful and cozy. The reception area was gorgeous and everyone loved the food. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, they allowed us to go onto the course to take some pictures. Once the night was over, we were able to store our belongings in the brides room so that we could pick them up the following morning which was very convenient. Malina stayed all night and was very helpful the day off. I am still getting compliments on the venue and everything that went along with it. I would recommend this place to anyone!

What a beautiful venue!! We had our wedding and reception on site. Everything was fantastic. From start to finish, we had a great experience. The wedding coordinator Collette was above and beyond during the entire experience. She handled all of our requests with pleasure. She even let us enjoy the day and allowed us to come back the next day to pick up the centerpieces, flowers, decorations, etc. The food was the best wedding food we have ever had, with large portions and plenty of options to choose from. All of our guests were raving about the venue and the food! There is a large room for the reception with outdoor "deck" overlooking the private golf course. The outdoor area where we got married was gorgeous. It was just perfect for our needs. We were so happy to have our wedding and reception here. You won't be disappointed.

I am so fortunate to have found The Club at Strawberry Creek. It was about an hour away from home and totally worth the drive. I cannot say enough good things about Strawberry Creek. I worked with the Event Manager, Colette. I first inquired about the Club via email at 10pm on a Sunday night and she got back to me within 5 minutes. She has been amazing - verly helpful and always prompt, the Club is lucky to have her. Colette is one of the nicest people you will meet and she is very easy to work with. The Club itself is beautiful. When we first arrived I wasn't sure I was going to be alble to afford it, but their prices are truly very reasonable. I had a lot of people asking me how much I paid, thinking I must have shelled out a fortune. And they do EVERYTHING! We had our ceremony in the Great Hall, as it was still a bit chilly outside in April and our reception in the ballroom, which is gorgeous. Two whole walls of windows overlooking their beautiful golf course. You really get a lot of bang for your buck here. The food is delicious. Seriously. We had the filet mignon and garlic chicken vesuvio. A few of our guests had food allergies and they had no problem at all modifying the meal to suit that guest's needs. They did chocolate covered strawberries as the favors for our guests...so good! The cake is also included, from Lovin Oven Bakery. Also delicious. Two hours of open bar was also included and after that the prices were very reasonable. We also held our rehersal dinner here. I really can't say enough about Strawberry Creek. They were so accommodating to everything and anything I asked for or needed. If your at all considering Strawberry Creek, I urge you to at least meet with them and see the grounds, you will not regret it. And ask to work with Colette!

We could not have asked for a more incredible wedding day than what Strawberry Creek provided for us. Colette, the wedding coordinator, was very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING and made the entire process easy and painless. I can't say enough good things about her. Strawberry is lucky to have her and so are the people who work with her. My husband and I knew ahead of time that we wanted the food served at the wedding to be delicious, and Strawberry did not disappoint. We received lots of compliments about how great it was. There isn't a single negative thing we can say about this place. We highly recommend Strawberry Creek to anyone looking to have a fabulous wedding full of happiness and fun!

This venue ended up being one of the proudest choices my husband and I made in planning our wedding. The staff is absolutely incredible (especially Colette!) and made our day so smooth and easy that we were able to enjoy every second of it without an ounce of panic. The location is beautiful and was the perfect setting for our outdoor wedding and indoor reception. It also gave gorgeous backdrops for our photos and video, and it was a lot of fun to go out on the golf course and grounds and enjoy some secluded areas for a different look as well. The food was also delicious and service was great. We are so happy with everything Strawberry Creek offered us and we couldn't have asked for a better group of people taking care of us and our special day. Wonderful and unforgettable for sure!

I recently was married at the Club at Strawberry Creek followed by our reception. It was absolutly perfect. The staff was amazing. Malina was a huge help and made sure everything was perfect for me. We received amazing complimants on how gorgeous it is there and I know there will be a few friends that will more then likely have their wedding there as well now. Nothing could beat this place!

I was so happy that we decided to have our reception at Strawberry Creek. Nicole was invaluable in planning our wedding and so easy to work with. She was quick to answer emails and was totally flexible with all aspects of the day. The reception room turned out absolutely beautiful. The service was impeccable. The food was so much better than your standard banquet food and came out hot. The staff as friendly and efficient. Overall I would recommend this venue to anyone. A wonderful experience!

The venue was beautiful! The food was great and our guests are still talking about it. There is only one manager on site who handles all weddings and golf course events, so I would highly recommend getting your own wedding planner if you're thinking of having a wedding and/or reception here.

Where do I start? Nicole was more than I could have ever asked for. The night went off without a hitch. She was there for everything I could have ever asked for. Knew the answers to all of my questions...some before I even asked them. Food was AMAZING! Grounds for the ceremony were breathtaking. It is a private country club but room was transformed into our dream wedding...with a Paris theme. Will remember it forever and recommend it to ANYONE who will listen.

DO NOT plan your event here!! We loved the facility and booked almost a year in advance for our reception, but when the day came it was a disaster. I understand everyone has different expectations and experiences, but I would never want something like this to happen to anyone else. Yes, the food was terrific. But that's about it. 1. The staff did not remove the cake on display - we had a partial faux cake! They started serving the sheet cakes and my husband asked them to remove the cake right away. It wasn't done until almost every guest had been served!! 2. We also ordered a lot of extra cake for the family to take home, and they cut HUGE slices. We know there were people who didn't even have cake, but when we asked about leftovers we were told there was none. So I'm betting they had eaten our cake!!! We had given specific instructions that we ordered enough for leftovers too, and that obviously was not paid any attention to. 3. We only wanted to take the top layer of the cake home, but because they didn't remove the cake and cut the second layer for serving, we ended up with a huge box that was near impossible to transport. We were given excuses later on when we complained about all these cake issues too! 4. Our photographers were not fed their ordered meals and they were invited guests. When this was mentioned, Nicole [the coordinator] said she was standing right there when the photographer said they wouldn't eat. Except this was a private conversation between the photographer and me - neither of us gave her permission to NOT serve them a meal or to doggy bag it. I had wanted them seated in a private table next to the bar, in the corner, and she had them sit outside the reception hall. 5. Nicole just flat out left without letting us know in the middle of the reception. Ridiculous. We had no clue who was in charge and apparently we had very inexperienced staff as well. This led to the above listed problems. 6. The staff started breaking down the tables when there were still guests there, not just family!!! They threw away my mother-in-law's cake when she stepped away for pictures. People have come up to us and tell us that they felt rushed because the staff was cleaning up. When we left, they were all milling about the front desk just waiting to leave. So tacky. When we sent our initial complaints and issues to Nicole, we got back a list of excuses and we were even blamed for things! [Like, the photographers' meals because she listened in on a private conversation!] We were told that the chef didn't think the cake was presentable and thought we should have taken it right back to the bakery and demanded our money back - but nobody told anyone this at the reception! And the "executive" decision not to cut the round cake was made without even consulting us. It did not feel like a sincere apology at all. There were a lot of minor issues as well, but I won't delve into them here as the above really was the big annoyance. We live about an hour away from Strawberry Creek and we drove down to have these pointless meetings with Nicole. Ok, maybe one was useful, but beyond that it was a complete waste of time. It would have been nice to have some guidance since this was our wedding reception, but we weren't given any. We were just told "whatever you want," but obviously we don't get "whatever we want." If there was a question that they wanted to know the answer to, they need to ask rather than assume.

I don't know where to even begin because everything was great. It was beautiful, well organized, and extremely affordable for such a great place. Nicole (the wedding planner) was beyond great. She was more than helpful with everything. We had a total of 165 people that attended wanted a non-traditional dinner, and that is the best place to go to get the chef to play around and create some fantastic food! We had BBQ chicken, Beef Brisket, mashed potatoes, veggies, and salad. Everyone complemented the food. I would recommend this vendor to everyone.

Strawberry Creek is just beautiful. We had both our ceremony and our reception at SC and so many of our guests gave us such great feedback about the grounds and the ambiance of the club. Nicole, the event planner is wonderful and made sure that everything went as planned. Another item that I really liked was the food! It does not taste like banquet food whatsoever and so many of our guests made sure to come up to us to say they really enjoyed their meals! I would definitely recommend SC to any bride that is still looking for a venue. It is such a beautiful place and the staff is so accomodating. You can tell they really care about making your day one of the best of your life!

This venue is absolutely amazing. From the service to the scenery to the food, I loved every single thing about this venue! Nicole, the wedding coordinator there was absolutely amazing and took the time to make sure that everything went smoothly. She was there all night and if there ever was an issue, my husband or myself never knew about it. I HIGHLY recommend this venue!! Very happy and satisfied!

I am beyond happy with everything at Strawberry Creek on my wedding day. We had our ceremony outside under the pergola and despite a heat index of about 92 degrees it was the most amazing, beautiful day of my life. Nicole, the wedding manager was wonderful throughout everything. I planned the wedding from out of state and she did a great job keeping in touch with me and answering my million and one questions. Robert, the head of the food service did an impeccable job on every morsel we ate. I cannot say enough about how good the food was and I am still hearing from guests that it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Nicole worked with us to create a day that was memorable and meaningful for us, including an ice cream buffet and a late night family dinner meal after our lunch reception. The golf course was incredibly accommodating to us, giving us carts to go out and take pictures and we were able to triple our original order of bottled water for our guests outside that day and it was brought out in less than five minutes. It's the little things that make all the difference and I really feel like the staff at Strawberry Creek goes out of their way to ensure you have the best day of your life. And of course, you can't forget how beautiful the building and grounds are. The natural stone, perfectly manicured lawn, huge bay windows in the reception hall...even the bridal suite is new and polished. We knew the moment we walked in that this was where we wanted to have our wedding and we - and our guests - were incredibly happy with everything. Thank you Nicole and Robert!!

Perfect! Everything about Strawberry Creek was perfect! Every tiny detail was taken care of, right down to lighting the candles before the guests began to arrive. The staff there thinks of everything. The venue is beautiful, the facilities are new and clean and the location is great. The food was exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend Strawberry Creek and we hope to get the opportunity to use their services again!
