The Clyde Venue has been a staple venue in the downtown Savannah area for over 6 years. We offer two types of event rental packages:

Our all-inclusive wedding planning packages streamline the booking process and make destination or local weddings a breeze! Our in-house wedding planner handles everything from booking a ceremony in a historic square, church, or rooftop to flowers, catering, bar, linens, trolley transportation, dance floor, DJ, cake, desserts, and any additional outside vendors you may want to use. You still get to pick out all the fun things like cake flavors, food menu items, flower colors and types, overall wedding design, song choices, and photography. We just handle the contracts, deadlines, payment plans, and overall logistics the week of.
Our venue rentals are inclusive of tables, chairs, soft seating lounges, an in-house Sonos music system, wifi, and light decor, including candles. This is a deal you won't find at other venues! Venue rentals give you more control over selecting your vendors, DIYing things, and having control of the logistics on the day of!

When first starting the search process for wedding reception venues, my husband and I had a few checklist items in mind--affordability and value, personalized/unique food and bar menus, excellent DJ, ease of communication. Not only did the Clyde and their staff meet these expectations, but they absolutely exceeded them. We decided to book the all-inclusive package for our reception and it was overall feasible pricing. We had an amazing wedding planning experience, working closely with Natalie, and it would not have been as enjoyable if it weren't for her professionalism, expertise, positivity, and problem solving skills! We were a little nervous planning a wedding in Savannah from a few hours away, but we never felt like we were not able to communicate our needs. Throughout our planning process, we felt like the only couple on the Clyde's agenda--the staff was organized and knowledgeable about our ideas, willing to accommodate for special requests, and quick to respond to questions. When you hear about all-inclusive wedding packages, you may get a little nervous about the quality of the vendors in contract with the venue. Without a doubt, we could not have asked for better vendors! Our guests are still raving about the food, the DJ, the bar drink quality, the STUNNING florals, and the atmosphere of the whole event. We would recommend the Clyde, their staff, and their vendors to anyone and we cannot express our gratitude enough!

There are truly not enough words to describe how thankful we are for The Clyde and all of their employees who helped make our wedding night so amazing! We stumbled across The Clyde while googling wedding venues in Savannah and Natalie had sent us over two pamphlets and an extremely detailed email about the services they offer within 24 hours of us contacting them for more information. We first met with her via facetime and she walked us around the venue and discussed what our vision was in more detail. From that initial meeting we were sold on this venue and we could not have been more lucky to find it. Natalie was our full wedding planner and took care of EVERYTHING for us. Living in Atlanta and planning a wedding in Savannah we knew we wanted someone to help us along the way and we never felt stressed knowing Natalie was handling everything and communicating with us throughout the entire process. Throughout the year we were planning our wedding The Clyde made upgrades to their overall space and bar/bar menu making it clear that they were always trying to improve what they have to offer to potential clients. Our wedding day was truly so stress free and we owe that all the Natalie, Mallory, and their incredible staff. Our guests had so many compliments to share with us on our wedding day and it will always be a day we will never forget. If you are thinking of using The Clyde for your wedding, next event, or even just to swing by and grab some coffee and bite to eat we could not recommend them enough!

The Clyde made our wedding planning so easy! Their all inclusive package is so worth it for the couple who hates making decisions. The vendors that they work with are so great, and truly make your wedding a day to remember. We can't recommend The Clyde more! WOW!!! My husband and I had the best wedding in the whole wide world and all of the credit goes to Natalie, Mallory, and their staff. Each person we encountered was kind, professional, and ensured that everyone present enjoyed their night.
It can be easy to feel overwhelmed when planning a wedding, but Natalie made sure my vision came to life. She communicated regularly, asked all the important questions, and personally spoke to each vendor to take the stress off of me during our wedding day. She was beside me every step of the way, and if she was unable to help, Mallory stepped in without missing a beat. Those two are TRULY a dream team!!!
I could go on and on. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. If you're thinking of getting married in Savannah, I highly recommend checking out The Clyde Venue!

I am writing this in the hopes of preventing another couple from experiencing the disappointment we did on one of the most important days of our lives. We picked this venue because the sales manager, Natalie, was amazing. We liked the location and wanted something downtown. From the time we met with her we thought this was the perfect venue.
A month prior there was an incident with the owner, Mallory, who was so unprofessional and disrespectful and tried to verbally threaten us, and this coming from the person who says, ‘When you come to the Clyde, it’s my goal to make you feel as welcome as my own family would be’. If it wasn’t so close to our wedding date, we would have paid any amount to get out of the contract with a place where the owner treats a client so rudely. We were verbally attacked because of something that was not even in the contract.
A major disappointment was the food. We had a food tasting and afterwards we decided we wanted to change some things that we did not like. The chef never got back to us on this matter, and we let Natalie know this as well. Our simple requests weren’t executed on the day of the wedding. At our tasting, the scalloped potatoes were good, but at the wedding they were awful with a greasy batter.
At this venue they cannot keep the meals hot. There is no actual kitchen. We wanted chicken fingers and fries for the kids; however we were shocked when we were asked to provide this from my father’s business. We were aware this was a plastic only venue, but we were not aware that there would not be water at each place setting. It was a huge inconvenience to guests and made for a long line at the one water station. There were white marks/stains on the tablecloths before anyone even sat down. The vegans received cold pasta with what looked like canned spinach. It was small and bad presentation. When asked if it could be heated up, after everyone had been served, we were told no by the server because the bowl had a metal rim that could not go in the microwave. Then Natalie came over with an attitude and told us the same thing. When it was asked why they can’t put it on a different plate, she then changed the story to we have lots of people to still serve. The vegans had no problem waiting and were once again met with a still cold dish. Clearly there is not a microwave at all, which is fine, but we felt they should have been honest and apologized for serving cold food. The bar ran out of club soda, beer, seltzers, some of the wine. There was no sour mix. Many guests complained of the bartenders and servers being rude. Plates were taken without people being finished. At the end of the night, we were told our flowers were going to be used for an event the next day. We hope this review will help save others from having their special day ruined.

staff and vendors go above and beyond expectation to make sure every event is a success. I feel inclined to provide you with a reminder of our policies that were covered with you on several occasions leading up to your big day, including the contract that we mutually agreed upon. Although you booked an all-inclusive package, there were some concessions that we made in terms of personalization in order to provide you with your wishes. It is understandable that you were disappointed to not have every customization on such a monumental day and having to be told 'no' because it was either out of budget or against our policies can be a difficult word to hear. As a reminder, some of the things that were outside of the normal contract and against our professional advice included: The use of a trolley outside of our contracted trolley provider. You chose to hire a different trolley service after our conversation stating it would breech our contractual agreement with other vendors. We do not have approval to use the transportation provider you chose. When confronted about this breech in contract, you were not 'verbally threatened". You were simply asked what you didn't understand about our prior conversation on the matter. After performing hundreds of 5-star events over the past several years, from experience and as the professional, we recommend food for a guest count size over 75 to be station or buffet service rather than plated. This was discussed in each catering and planning meeting. When you chose to do a plated event, our catering vendor did everything in his power to make this happen for you. As the venue, we even asked our non-waitstaff to assist in the delivery of the food to ensure everything was delivered expeditiously, which we achieved, and at no extra cost to you. If you were unsatisfied with your food, I apologize, however as a venue without a kitchen, this should have been communicated to the food vendor during your initial tasting. As an eco-conscious company, we look for every opportunity to not waste materials. Concerning your flowers, when florals are left at the venue, we have a policy to repurpose the flowers so they are not thrown in the garbage. Sometimes we use them for decoration for a future event and sometimes we deliver them to other people to enjoy. Most couples are happy to know their beautiful floral choices are being used to the benefit of someone else rather than being thrown in the garbage. Our bar is fully stocked with beer, wine and liquor. In your event, you chose to supplement the regular stock with a specialty wine that we do not normally carry. Unfortunately your guests didn't care for that option and based on the budget, this was a concession that was agreed upon upfront. While we understand that each event is a celebration all about you and your guests, as humans, we expect a level of respect to be given to our staff. When they are treated less than human, we will step in to safeguard the treatment of our staff's mental and physical health. Calling them 'showgirls' and telling them they're incompetent and should be fired is highly inappropriate and not condoned. This event has served as a reminder to our staff that sticking to the contract is a must moving forward. Rather than having made so many exceptions and trying to come up with ways to please you while keeping within budget, we understand that while hearing the word 'no' can be difficult, it is sometimes necessary in order to maintain our sanity and professionalism. For this reminder, we thank you.

The day could not have been more perfect for our daughters wedding! Mallory and Natalie and her team went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly! Many of our guests commented on how hard working the team was during the dinner and dancing! Would highly recommend the venue and all the vendors they suggested!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and that is all due to the amazing team at The Clyde Venue. We first met with Mallory and fell in LOVE with the all inclusive wedding package. After being a COVID couple and having two previous cancellations and location changes, not having to plan every single detail was a dream come true. Mallory and Natalie have selected the BEST vendors for the all inclusive package. They not only select the vendors but handle all communication with the vendors, which was a massive weight of our shoulders. I think some days I would send 5 emails and Natalie was quick to respond to all of them! When it came to the day of the wedding all we had to do was show up! We chose to have our ceremony in a square and the reception at The Clyde Venue. Logistically they took care of everything including moving our floral arch to the reception! Our guests also loved the food and we got several remarks saying how good it was. I would choose The Clyde over and over again.

If I could give Mallory and Natalie more than 5 stars I would. They made an already stressful situation so much smoother. I definitely couldn’t have had such an amazing day and experience if they were not part of our team. They handled almost everything for us and we got to enjoy the day and make amazing memories instead. Highly recommend!

My husband took the initiative on the venue search for our dream destination wedding in Savannah. He definitely saved the best for last after a weekend of meetings with numerous venues and wedding planners. Our last walk through was at The Clyde Venue and a meeting with Mallory. Afterwards, we had no hesitation that this was our perfect venue. Not only did The Clyde Venue offer an all-inclusive package they handled directly through contracted vendors (ceremony site, ceremony seating & decor, officiant, security, trolleys, flowers, reception decor, food, alcohol, cake, music, lights, linens, and more), we also received the most amazing wedding planner in Savannah, Mallory Adams. We’re from Orlando but Mallory made sure to stay on top of everything through Zoom calls and emails. She made sure she was available to meet with us in person when we were in town. I had some ordering issues with Ets* scams that weren’t delivered, but Mallory saved the day. She was on top of everything from day one, and also made sure every contracted vendor was on point with our requests. She addressed all concerns we had, and always promptly responded to both of us. Pictures on theclydevenue.com are hardly an expression of how amazing this venue is, and they definitely cannot describe Mallory and her unbelievable expertise as a wedding planner. If you’re looking for a modern venue within the Savannah historic district, or an all inclusive package without the wedding day stress, and/or a superb wedding planner, than look no further than The Clyde Venue and Mallory Adams. Thank you so much Mallory and The Clyde for creating the perfect memories of the best day of our lives!!!

I absolutely loved my wedding at The Clyde! I will rate them no lower than 5 stars. Mallory was very communicative and very helpful when I had to push my wedding in 2020 to 2021 because of COVID. She moved it with no questions asked and really helped us have an amazing day. The coordinator, Victoria and the bartender (her name does escape me but she was amazing) really helped set up and clean the entire venue on time. They had parking for immediate family at the venue and a parking deck/street side parking close by. It was a beautiful venue and worked well for our 55 person ceremony and reception.

When our daughter got engaged we began the hunt for the perfect location in downtown Savannah that could host both her wedding ceremony and the reception to follow. We found that perfect location at The Clyde Venue located in the heart of Savannah’s historic district. The Clyde offered the ideal space to host both the ceremony and reception and also offered a seamless transition from one to the other. Mallory and her staff worked tirelessly with us, and our wedding coordinator, to transform the spacious grand room into a beautifully decorated space that provided the perfect atmosphere and setting for that special day. They also worked hand-in-hand with our photographer, videographer, DJ and caterers to ensure that the overall experience was a positive one for all involved. We can not imagine a better place to have had such a special occasion. It really was the best experience imaginable!

I highly recommend Mallory and The Clyde Venue! We had very little time to plan our wedding after our original wedding was cancelled. The venue was beautiful and everything turned out perfect. Mallory handled everything for us and made our day go by so smoothly! It was everything we could have dreamed of.

I cannot say enough good things about Mallory and The Clyde Venue! After my original venue let us know they could no longer host us and our 50 guests with only two and a half weeks before our wedding, I was devastated. My best friend and I must have reached out to every venue we could think of, and Mallory was a breath of fresh air. She basically said to give her our budget and our original plans, and she would make it happen. She did that and SO MUCH MORE. Her catering contact was some of the best food I’ve ever tasted, and she was there decorating and running the show the whole night. The night felt perfect and seamless, and I know she worked hard to make that happen! I can’t imagine our wedding would have been as amazing anywhere else.

I had my wedding reception at The Clyde and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. It’s a modern and Savannah charm venue all in one. And it’s so convenient to the Historic District, but just enough on the edge that you can still find parking.
Mallory is amazing. She was super flexible, responsive, and helpful. Anything I had questions about she was on top of it. She was everything we could ask for and more. She was so much more than just a contact at our venue. I honestly don’t think we could have done it without her.
The space is huge and easily decorated to match just about any taste. The mirror wall with changing colors was awesome because we could change them as the night went on. The huge bar is beautiful and their bar staff was AMAZING!
If you’re lucky enough to find The Clyde available for your event, you absolutely should take it.

I used this beautiful space for the day of my wedding! All the bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, family and friends came and hung out while we all got ready. This was the best "getting ready" space. The pictures turned out to be amazing and Mallory (owner) did everything she could to make sure things ran smoothly. It was everything I could have dreamed of! 100% recommend using this venue!

We had our engagement party at this venue and it was beautiful! We had plenty of space and the location couldn’t be better. You have access to everything in dt savannah. Mallory is awesome and was an amazing host! Definitely recommend for any event!
