The Coordinated Collective

s, preparation and attention to detail were a huge part of why our wedding was a huge success. We are still getting texts and calls from friends and family about how amazing they were. TCC also has a content creator that captured all of the in-between moments beautifully - highly recommended. I couldn’t imagine not working with TCC; way less stress and anxiety.

them sooner. I reached out about 2 months before my wedding due to being ghosted by my previous coordinator. Ja’el, the owner, followed up with me and walked me through her process. Her organization and prior experience with my venue made it a no brainer to hire The Coordinated Collective. A week before my wedding, the Sales Coordinator with the venue resigned, and the venue would not return any of our emails. Ja’el handled the situation like a pro and used her expertise to find the right people at my venue to contact. My wedding weekend went off without a hitch, to my knowledge, due to Ja’el and her team handling everything behind the scenes which allowed for me, my groom, my family, and guests to have a seamless experience. I’m still getting compliments at how well run and on time everything went. We truly felt like partners throughout the entire process, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Coordinated Collective.

credit for ensuring that our big day ran smoothly, solving the myriad of problems that cropped up and felt like crises at the time, and helped us think through all of the details that we needed to iron out in advance. It was especially great to have her during our walk through and planning calls - she knew all of the right questions to ask! Katie had it all covered, and that meant the world to us and allowed us to rally enjoy ourselves. 10/10

her team is great. Having a team of support also made us feel wholly confident everything was under control with contingencies in the event adjustments needed to be made. We absolutely recommend you work with the Coordinated Collective without reservation.

am made our wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception seamless. I highly recommend hiring the Coordinated Collective for any and all of your wedding planning/coordination needs!

y single person we interacted with was incredible, starting with Ja’el the owner, who was amazing from start to finish. She is warm, organized, thoughtful, and we felt see was genuinely invested in us. From our first conversation, we knew we were in great hands. Our day-of coordinators, Liz and Blair, were absolute stars. They just got us. Throughout the planning process, they provided steady guidance, answered every question, and—when we had concerns about potential issues with other vendors—gave us thoughtful, grounded advice and real encouragement.  As we approached the wedding, Liz and Blair stepped in to manage the scheduling of the countless moving parts of our wedding day. They helped address issues before they became problems, and resolved most problems before they became crises. Their communication and stress management were unparalleled. They kept us informed whenever we needed to know something and shielded us from anything we didn’t need to be bothered with. I referred back to Blair’s meticulously documented recap emails from our planning meetings so many times  during planning - no idea how anything would have gotten done without those! We always felt like they were firmly on our team. Their presence throughout those final weeks kept us calm and confident… despite the best attempts of some of our vendors and family! And then the wedding day itself… flawless. Truly flawless. They executed the day with precision, grace, and warmth. They handled countless details behind the scenes so seamlessly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our big day. At one point during dinner, I (the bride) leaned over to my mom to ask if she had floss because I had food stuck in my teeth, and before I could finish my sentence, Liz promptly whisked me away to a back room where I found myself suddenly in front of a mirror with a toothpick in hand!  The level of support and preparation during the pre-wedding stages was above and beyond what we ever expected. Our families and friends are still raving about how fantastic they were on the day-of.  We also decided to add on content creation with Teri late in the process, and we are SO glad we did. She was amazing—funny, kind, unobtrusive, and everywhere at once without ever feeling like a camera was in our faces. A couple of days after the wedding, we received our raw video dump, and it is worth every single penny. I’ve spent hours reliving the day through all the behind-the-scenes moments she captured with our guests, family, and wedding party. She didn’t miss a thing. We can’t wait to see the short-form content she creates, but honestly, the raw footage alone already exceeded our hopes. We are genuinely obsessed with this team. The Coordinated Collective is thoughtful, professional, communicative, creative, and deeply committed to making your wedding experience exceptional from beginning to end. If you’re considering hiring them, don’t hesitate for a second. They were truly the best decision we made, and we are endlessly grateful.

e had already made the big decisions, but were struggling to pull everything together, especially a timeline for the wedding day. In came Liz & Blair, our awesome coordinator duo, who got everything organized and made us feel at ease that all would be taken care of. And it was – so much so that we went on vacation two weeks before the wedding and didn’t have to handle a single wedding-related task. On the wedding day, everything went smoothly for us and I know it was because of all the planning and great work from Liz & Blair. And I learned they have some serious bustling skills. They’re also just great people and it was a pleasure getting to know them. We highly recommend Coordinated Collective.

tor Steph was amazing and did a lovely job making sure the day of went off without a hitch. Before the wedding she met with us and helped us think through the many small things that you need to prepare for. She was responsive, helpful, and a breeze to work with! Im so happy I chose the Coordinative Collective to help us with our wedding day! We felt love and care throughout the whole experience.

'el was incredible, kind, funny, professional, and always radiating such a positive attitude. She handled every detail with care and made sure the entire day went smoothly. Words could never express how thankful we are for her. Our wedding day was perfect because of Ja'el and her amazing team.

he big day to check in and help with questions on planning. Francisco was our lead coordinator and was absolutely amazing to work with, from the very first call we knew we were in good hands. On our calls leading up to the wedding, he helped us ensure every detail was planned for and all of my anxieties were addressed. He gave incredible advice, and I cannot imagine the weekend going so well without him by our side – I was so relaxed the entire wedding day, and I know I owe a lot of that to Francisco’s support. When we did our vendor walkthrough, and on the weekend itself, both he and Abigail’s execution was flawless, and their experience, professionalism, and poise was immediately apparent. Francisco is so good at this, and I will be forever grateful to him and to The Coordinated Collective for an unforgettable wedding!

nt, and enthusiastic, an advocate and champion in all situations. Over our fourteen months working with Ja’el, from our initial meeting to our rehearsal to our wedding day to our post-wedding chores, she continually floored us with her sharp insights into pricing, logistics, and ultimately human nature. She always had the perfect reply at the ready to negotiate best outcomes and kept us steady in complicated transactions, allowing us to achieve our not-so-easy vision. Ja’el also helped us resolve and overcome disappointing moments with her extensive network and know-how. We are proud to be among The Coordinated Collective’s clients and will continue to sing their praises forever. We feel lucky to have finished our wedding even more impressed with and in awe of Ja’el and the TCC. Just as our venue did, we recommend Ja’el and The Coordinated Collective to the absolute highest degree. They will improve your wedding, relationship, and life!!!

r expertise and hard work. From the start, their materials were helpful with finding vendors they had worked with before. And our day-of planner, Katie, was just the best. She took the time to meet with us beforehand and make sure that we had our schedule and timeline all sorted out well in advance of the wedding. After that, she was absolutely incredible on the day of. Katie took care of all the details and timelines throughout the wedding day, and because she made sure everyone was where they needed go, we could focus on enjoying ourselves because we knew we were in such good hands. She was cool under pressure when curveballs came up (as they do on every wedding day in some form or another) and it was clear she had coordinated plenty of weddings and had clearly seen it all before. It was so wonderful working with the Coordinated Collective and Katie because they made our wedding day as stress-free and smooth of an experience as possible so that we could spend as much time as possible celebrating with our guests.

tion to just the day-of. Having her and her team around definitely made it possible for us to focus on enjoying the day rather than stress about the small stuff. Highly recommend this team.

eable than we originally thought. We threw a lot of curveballs Francisco’s way with a less-than-traditional ceremony, and he was very helpful in making that vision a reality! On our calls, he’d always ask “What’s on your mind? What’s stressing you out right now?” and he’d find solutions to our most granular concerns. We can’t recommend them enough!

d, thoughtful, and on top of every detail. We also spoke with Ja’el early on, and she really convinced us to move forward with them. Throughout the entire process, we were constantly in communication with Abi and the team (We really used the unlimited communication). They made sure everything stayed on track and that no detail was missed. Our wedding simply would not have been possible without them. If you are even slightly on the fence about whether you need a coordinator, trust me—it’s worth it, and this is the team you want.

h several planning teams and when we connected with Ja'el (and later Liz, Francisco, and Maggie) we KNEW we wanted to work with this organized, passionate, caring, and down to earth team. They were absolutely wonderful. I want to give a huge shout out to Liz, our Lead Coordinator, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported with email correspondence, vendor connections, a venue walkthrough, and thorough planning documents to keep all of our details together. We specifically wanted to work with Liz because she is fluent in Spanish and she was very thoughtful and considerate of our multi-cultural event. We loved working with The Coordinated Collective and highly recommend them.

him, he was incredibly thorough, organized, and clearly genuinely invested in making our wedding day as smooth and joyful as possible. In the months leading up to the wedding, Francisco helped walk us through the big checklist items for planning a wedding, ensuring we didn’t overlook a single detail while always being respectful of our choices and vision. His communication over email was always timely and clear, and our planning phone calls were always productive, efficient, and fun! One of the most valuable things he did was create a comprehensive vendor packet that centralized all final details—this was a game-changer! We didn’t have to worry about keeping track of updates or managing version control, as he seamlessly handled all communication and coordination with our vendors. His understanding of the venue layout, the timing with our photographer, and the logistics of transporting wedding items made the final decisions stress-free. We trusted him completely, and every detail turned out exactly as we’d hoped—or better! When it came time for the wedding weekend itself, Francisco expertly ran our rehearsal, navigating family dynamics with calm professionalism and making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. On the wedding day, Francisco was a calm and reassuring presence, quietly in charge and gracefully keeping everything on track. As someone who’s very Type A and typically likes to stay on top of everything, I was amazed by how much I was able to relax and simply enjoy the day because I knew Francisco would be handling it all. Thanks to him, we could focus on celebrating with our loved ones, knowing everything was in the best hands. If you’re looking for someone who will bring warmth, expertise, and a true sense of calm to your wedding day, Francisco is your person. He made our wedding a dream come true, and we wouldn’t change a single thing.

!) we were comforted that our big day would be planned and executed smoothly. We first spoke with Ja’el, the owner, to have an introductory call and were instantly impressed. She provided initial feedback on our initial concept for the wedding, and made venue-specific suggestions that shaped how we planned our wedding over the months that followed. We were assigned Francisco (Fran) to be our Day-Of Coordinator, and after just a 30 minute introduction call we were impressed yet again and reassured by his experience and attention to detail. Over 9 months of wedding planning, he kept us organized, made sure we were on track, and responded in a timely manner whenever we emailed him with questions. He created and maintained a shared document for collaboration between our planning calls, which we loved. Fran made sure everything was addressed, from contracting vendors to make sure we had enough table linens to making sure critical contract documentation was correct and complete. We held a walkthrough with key vendors a few weeks before the wedding, and a rehearsal with the wedding party the day before the wedding. Fran reached out to schedule with vendors for these events, shared a list of activities and a timeline beforehand to set expectations, and executed both events so everyone knew what they were doing and had their questions answered. He even did a great job wrangling our wedding party, which is a tough task to do for such a boisterous group. And finally, on the day of our wedding, Fran continued to do a fantastic job. With the help of Erinn from TCC, Fran kept the trains moving on time. During setup, Fran and Erinn made sure the timeline was followed and that everything was in place well ahead of the wedding start time. Fran even provided last-minute decoration and arrangement suggestions for flowers and other key items such as our cake, guest book, and card box. (He has a great eye for detail!) And when the wedding was over, Fran and Erinn collected all of our decorations, table settings, and other items, making sure that everything we provided was accounted for. Our wedding was truly a day to remember, and it could not have been possible without Fran and The Coordinated Collective. We are forever grateful.

g process to lay out a plan for our day from beginning to end, was in constant contact, and acted as a closer when we needed some help finalizing those last details. When our big day came, we were totally comfortable handing our plan off to Abi, who not only got us in the right places and kept us on schedule, but set up our homemade decorations and florals to create a warm and beautiful space that we’re still buzzing about days later. She also made sure that the end of the night went off without a hitch, directing the breakdown so we could enjoy the last moments of our day, and even stepping in days later to resolve one lingering issue we’d had. The Coordinated Collective made our wedding day stress free and unforgettable!

big day with his schedules and planning guide. Got us prepared for the big day, and took all of the stress out of the day of the ceremony and reception. Handled everything for us. Couldn't have done it without him! Highly recommend.

ours helping to prep and get to know my husband and I. Ja’el has the best spreadsheets and helped us stay extremely organized. They contacted each and every vendor to make sure nothing would slip through the cracks. They helped us be stress free and kept everything running smoothly. I could not recommend them enough. 100 stars!!

g plans on the day-of to execute the rain plan wouldn't have been possible without Ja'el's support. She advocated for us, led the other vendors in adapting to the weather, and kept everything on time. From our initial planning calls and providing vendor recommendations to ensuring the wedding day was seamless, TCC was easy to work with and more than worth the investment! Highly recommend!

nly amazing day of coordination but wonderful prewedding planning.

for their wedding. We have to say that hiring Ja’el and her team (Molly and Jessica) was the single most valuable investment of our wedding. Ja’el is extremely professional and has a process and system that ensured that all of our desires and wishes were captured and communicated to all of our vendors, wedding party, family and friends. We had several calls with Ja’el leading up to our wedding, where we discussed and finalized some of the major details of our wedding. Ja’el also was available to offer perspective, make recommendations, and answer some of our minor questions as well. She was extremely attentive, quick to respond, and clear on setting and communicating expectations with us. Ja’el’s process, timeline, and consistent urging ensures that every detail of our wedding was planned and communicated to our vendors 2 weeks prior to our event. This included photography and videography, the DJ, the venue and catering, hair and makeup, transportation, flowers, decor, lighting, cake baker, officiant, and wedding party. This also included a full inventory of everything that was ours and/or needed to return after the event. This ensured that we could spend the weeks leading up to our event communicating to and welcoming our guests into town as well as answering minor questions. During the rehearsal, Ja’el effectively communicated our vision to our wedding party and set the tone, making sure that everyone knew and respected that the day was ours. On the day of the event, it was clear that Ja’el and her team were prepared. They arrived on time, ensured that all of our vendors knew where to be and when and delivered on their services, and handled everything with flying colors. All of the preparation, leading up to the day allows us to feel comfortable and confident that Ja’el and her team knew what we wanted and could deal with any issues as they came. If there were major issues, we certainly didn’t know about it. There were a couple minor issues that we noticed during the day but Ja’el and her team handled everything. Behind the incredible professionalism, the coordinated collective team was so fun to work with. They even showed off some dance moves towards the end of our reception. Our day was absolutely amazing and we literally could not have pulled it off without the Coordinated Collective. We weren’t the only ones to notice either. Even some of our friends and family have expressed how impressed they were with Ja’el. We would 1000% hire them again and would 10000% recommend them to others.

y kept everything running smoothly and we had a wonderful wedding thanks to the Coordinated Collective! Thank you so much, Ja'el, we can't recommend you enough!

h, left no stone unturned in the planning process, and were always incredibly easy to get in touch with and talk to. They know so much about this industry and their knowledge helped make our lives much easier. We are so grateful for their help and highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

r family. I would book her again and again. Also ask about her husband, he's a great photographer

ng up to and during our wedding was beyond amazing. The staff at our venue was not the most attentive or detail-oriented, so having Meredith take care of everything for us really put our minds at ease and we didn't have to worry about any detail on wedding day as Meredith and her assistant Molly had us covered. I 110% recommend TCC for anyone's wedding!

sistent communication. She was always calm, helpful, thought of all the questions we didn't know to ask and managed everything beautifully on the day. I would recommend these folks to anyone.

fore our wedding, and Ja'el went above and beyond in helping me to feel confident, on track, and organized in the months leading up to the wedding. We quite literally could not have done it without her. She helped connect us with other vendors as well as took over all communication with them as the wedding got closer. Her confidence, professionalism, and expertise is unbeatable. Our family could not stop talking about how amazing she was. You need her for your wedding!

anything, to organize our very unorganized ideas for the wedding, and to help us find excitement and joy in the less exciting moments. On the actual wedding day, they were OUTSTANDING. We had absolutely zero stress day-of and were able to enjoy our wedding day with each other and the guests. It started raining midway through the reception and Liz and Blair pivoted to pull outside aspects under the tent, create a rain shield for the DJ, and ensure that guests didn't even notice the disruption. I truly can't say enough great things about them and I would recommend them over and over and over - THANK YOU to Liz and Blair for the best experience!

rry about anything from where and when to be somewhere to making sure our wedding exit went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend to every bride!!

We met with her a few times leading up to the big day as well as doing our venue walkthrough and she lessened our stress immensely. She helped us to make sure we were on track and made plans for any hiccups that may arise. On our wedding day she made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were cared for. She paid attention to all of the small details and honestly just made sure we had less to worry about so we could enjoy our day. I am so grateful we went with The Coordinated Collective and I cannot recommend them enough!

rsation I knew Ja'el was exactly who we needed. We wanted to have a month of coordinator because we had family coming from Texas and Connecticut and we did not want to be stressed when our guests were coming to town. Our goal was to make the most of our favorite people in our favorite city and we could not have achieved that without Ja'el. Ja'el really went above and beyond for us. She helped us select our vendors for drapes and rentals, she helped us stay on top of deliverables with vendors, and she even helped coach us revising guest count expectations with our venue. While all of these things were huge, the biggest impact for me was feeling how much Ja'el cared about me and my husband. She showed this during our meetings when she would stop us and say "I hear stress in your voice, let's talk about it and work through what is stressing you out." She showed this when she said that I could use her as a sounding board when trying to work through difficult family dynamics. She especially showed this on our wedding night where she constantly protected me and my husband's time together and went above and beyond so we could soak in our night. I really do not know what we would have done without Ja'el and her team. During the last two months of planning, I told Ja'el I was at the threshold of making decisions and I am so glad she was there to keep things moving and not only get us across the finish line, but truly create the wedding of our dreams. Working with The Coordinated Collective was the best thing we did and is the reason why I was completely stress-free on our wedding day. Thank you Ja'el!

ave been the best call we made!

ell that Ja'el was exactly the kind of coordinator we needed. Ja'el is a clear and quick communicator, and throughout our wedding planning process was a fantastic resource. One of the things that makes The Coordinated Collective stand out compared to other day of coordinators is that they are available for unlimited emails. Any time we had a question Ja'el was there to help us navigate. Additionally, as a very type-A bride who planned her own wedding, I knew that letting go of being the planner vs the bride would be really challenging. Ja'el made it easy bY firmly and kindly reminding me to go back to being present, and making our entire vision come true. Every single cent was worth it and beyond. Our day was actually perfect and I can't say enough about how amazing this team was!!!

at had not hosted a wedding for 120 and presented some unique challenges that Ja'el helped us navigate without a hitch!

y helped us figure out all of the things we didn't know we needed to plan for, she helped us organize every detail, communicate with our vendors and manage our own emotions in the months leading up to the wedding. We learned so much from Ja'el and how much it takes to truly pull of every detail of a wedding through working with her. Ja'el is a straight up pro. Her and her team allowed us to do the most important thing at our wedding - be present! Everything was executed so perfectly--from the little details like welcome signs to the big things like transportation from our ceremony to the venue--that my husband and I got to be in the moment for every minute of our wedding. Throughout the planning process, Ja'el was such a proactive and open communicator. We always felt we could ask her any question and even if she didn't know the answer (rarely, if at all) she helped us work to a solution. She communicated so well with all of our vendors and took so much of the weight that comes with planning a wedding, especially in the last few weeks leading up to it, completely off our shoulders. We had a very large wedding party, and Ja'el was able to manage personalities and volume to get everyone where they needed to go. Beyond her professionalism, Ja'el is an incredibly kind, warm and welcoming person. She cares about her clients and you can tell that she wants to help make your day as special as you always hoped it would be. I could not recommend The Coordinated Collective enough. If you are getting married in the DC area, no matter the venue, you need Ja'el and her team. My wedding may be over, but I know we'll keep in touch with Ja'el for years to come. THANK YOU Ja'el! We love you!

emailed questions months beforehand to following up with a late vendor on the day-of, no detail went unaccounted for. Ja’el helped track of every aspect of our event and organized several video calls with us to talk through the schedule and answer questions. She assuaged all of our concerns and was always professional, calm, and a delight to interact with. We had a stress-free wedding day, largely thanks to her meticulous planning, and would recommend her to anyone.

n’t going to use that many vendors, so it didn’t seem like it would be too much for us to handle day-of details like schedule management and tipping. But once we talked to Ja’el, we knew the Coordinated Collective was going to be a great investment to make sure our wedding ran smoothly and we actually got to enjoy our own party. During our first call, Ja’el took the time to get to know us and to help us think through some of the nuances that we didn’t know to ask about. We walked away with a great list of follow-ups and an understanding of what we needed to do immediately, and what we could hold off on for a bit longer. Once we signed on, Katie was assigned as our event lead. Where to even start - we can’t say enough good things about her. Katie really understood what we wanted for the day, and the worksheets and tracking tools she provided helped us focus on getting the right information, communicated day-of plans to vendors, and made sure that our wedding week was quiet so we could enjoy it with our families. She also helped us navigate vendor questions and even helped us have a successful rehearsal without giving away a fun surprise moment in the ceremony. Our wedding party all remarked on how fun she made the rehearsal. Day-of, Katie and Molly kept things running smoothly and gave us the space to really enjoy our celebration and our guests. We and our guests had a total blast at our wedding, and we absolutely could not have had the same event without the help of the Coordinated Collective.

tions for other vendors, helped us when we felt stuck in the planning process, and always made sure that our wants/needs were the focus. Her team executed a well-paced timeline and ensured we had no worry as we danced the night away. Cannot thank Ja'el and her team enough!!

e for us, and had our backs at every stage of the process. The actual day went perfectly and we were able to completely relax knowing that Meredith was at the helm. She gave us all the necessary piece of mind and we're forever grateful. Hands down 10/10.

efore our wedding and shared a bunch of useful planning tools, made sure we were on track with our planning schedule, and and kept an eye on us and our vendors as we got closer to the date. We have several calls with her leading up to the wedding to go through our checklists, and by the time the wedding weekend rolled around we felt very prepared with her help. Even though the Coordinated Collective is advertised as "day-of" coordination, they really do so much more than just that. During the wedding day Meredith kept our vendors and wedding party on track with amazing energy- even though it was a 90+ degree humid day. We had a few small hiccups that Meredith and Molly graciously swooped in to fix (and I'm sure many more moments where they put out fires before we even knew they were happening). We'd 100% recommend them for anyone who is looking for a little less than full-scale wedding planning, but wants to have someone to keep them on track leading up to and during the wedding! We truly couldn't have pulled off the day without them.

t were incredibly helpful for our planning process. It is amazing how many unexpected things pop up on the day of the wedding and they handled it all with ease. We highly recommend working with The Coordinated Collective - we relied on them for a lot for the planning process, timeline, and on the day of the wedding!
