I literally have over a million positive things I can say about Kate and her company. It was an absolute dream to work with her for wedding planning purposes! She was so responsive and helpful; she gave her expertise but also allowed/encouraged me to make decision that felt like a true reflection of me and my husband. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and gorgeous - the design was beyond my wildest dreams! Iâd recommend Kate and her company 10000000% - 10/10 stars!!
I have to admit, before I was introduced to Kate, I wasnât entirely convinced that we needed a wedding planner. I thought I had the time to figure things out on my own and wasnât sure if the budget would be better allocated elsewhere. Iâm so happy to say I was completely wrong! Kate is worth her weight in gold. Cool, calm, collected, and with a clear vision, she seamlessly handled all the logistics and solved problems behind the scenes, allowing us to focus on being present and enjoying the moment. Her recommendations were spot-on, and our guests are still raving about some of the vendors she helped us secure and the details she helped us execute. Kateâs process kept us organized, but more importantly, she knew exactly when to remind me to step back, relax, and soak it all in (something I really needed!). We are beyond grateful to have worked with Kate and her team at The Coordination Company. From the very beginning, she was professional, warm, and attentive to every detail, making the entire planning process an absolute joy. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Kate truly took the time to understand our vision, giving us peace of mind at every stage.
Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, she was quick to respond to our questions, no matter how small, and always provided thoughtful suggestions to help us stay within our budget while still achieving a dream day. Her vendor recommendations were spot-on, and she handled all communication with such ease and professionalism.
When my florist canceled on us 1 month before the wedding, Kate was quick to jump into action and solve the issue with ease. She found another vendor who could meet our floral needs, were available on our date and even came in under budget. She is a miracle worker to say the least.
On the big day, we felt entirely taken care of. Every detail was executed to perfection, and her calm, organized presence allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our day. Many of our guests commented on how seamless and beautiful everything was, and we owe it all to Kate and her incredible team.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about Kate. She helped me plan and execute the wedding of my dreams, kept me organized and on track every step of the way and was genuinely an incredible friend to me throughout the entire process. And on top of all that she did SO much more than I ever couldâve imagined. She did things I didnât even know I needed, things I didnât think of or that I was too busy to do myself on the actual wedding day. She communicated the timeline to every vendor, scheduled all the deliveries & returns with them, told everyone where to stand, made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, and even made my entire escort card board on the day of the wedding. Itâs hard to explain everything she did for me but she was truly the best decision I made for my wedding. She made my wedding beyond anything I couldâve ever imagined and it felt like all I had to do was enjoy it.
Kate is an exceptional wedding planner! From start to finish, Kate gave fabulous recommendations, quality advice, and executed my vision perfectly. She is extremely organized and does it all with a calm and inviting demeanor. I loved being one of Kate's brides!
As a wedding planner Kate went above and beyond what I expected to make my wedding dreams come true. She is not only an organizational mastermind but also a wedding designing genius. Every email I sent and every question asked was responded to in a concise and timely manner. I never felt like something was being forgotten or lost in the mix. Her design ideas exceeded anything I could of ever dreamt up on my own. Personality wise, she will easily become your best friend and also the most calming force the day of the wedding. She even visited me the morning of while getting ready just to make sure I had all my needs taken care of! I had multiple guests come up to me after the wedding to compliment her. They said she was "running around like a drill sergeant making sure everything was perfect". My husband and I were blissfully unaware of this because we felt so secure with her skillset as a planner. All we focused on was each other and the magic of the day and for that I will be forever grateful. If anything went wrong that day we sure didn't know about it. Kate is truly in this industry for the right reasons. She wants to see your wedding day dreams come true and her couples happy. My wedding would of never turned out as spectacular as it did if it was not for her.
Kate Hanna and her team were just the right fit for our summer wedding in Charleston! Not only did she go above and beyond by helping me with last minute details in both the Bridesmaid Brunch and changes in reception seating arrangements; she was also spot on throughout the planning. In the many decisions to make during the year long engagement, my daughter and I developed the phrase "in Kate we trust". Her expertise, knowledge, and professionalism gave us an enormous sense of trust! I would describe our wedding day as magical, effortless, and beautiful thanks to her and her team. I am passive in nature and I was fearful to end up with a planner who does not respect that or who will take advantage of my laid back attitude. I interviewed MANY planners in the charleston area & the thing that stood out to me most about Kate was that she was the only planner who took the time out of her day to hop on a video call with me. Other planners in the area often joined our call late, chatted with me while running errands, or seemed uninterested in getting to know me as a person. Kate was the total opposite. The facetime immediately put her at the top of my list but in addition to that, Kate is also very calm (like me) and made me feel comfortable. She knew all the right questions to ask and never made me feel like a bother or an annoyance during the planning process.
Kate is the queen of calm! She is very laid back which felt very comforting to me and kept me calm as well. Especially during the ceremony & reception I was able to fully let go and let Kate do her thing without having a worry in the world.
Kate is a great listener. Any idea you have/ anything you want to execute or have be apart of your day Kate is going to listen and help you make it happen! I never felt judged for something that I wanted to add or DIY myself which was very important to me. Weddings are expensive and its important to work with someone who values your budget, ideas, and vision for your big day. I truly felt supported.
As a destination bride and hiring Kate as a partial planner, I was anxious about vendors. There is no way I would have been able to find & pick the amazing vendors that I did without Kate! Seriously, our DJ, florist, makeup artist, etc. were all phenomenal to work with! This is not to say there weren't any hiccups (there were a few, but pretty minimal), but this made a huge difference in everyone's attitudes when things did go a little wrong and we were able to shrug it off and continue enjoying our big day!
Do yourself a favor and hire The Coordination Company, you won't regret it!
I hired Kate with The Coordination Company mid January 2023 for my March 2023 wedding after an unfortunate event with my prior wedding planner required me to find someone new last minute. Not only did Kate get us back on track and fix the wreckage that my prior planner had left, but she was patient, kind, flexible, and was honestly my rock during what otherwise was a stressful and emotional time. Kate worked her magic and in less than 90 days was able to produce the wedding of my dreams! The actual wedding day was FLAWLESS, and we had so many guests compliment Kate and how effortless and smooth the entire day went. Kate is someone I would recommend one hundred times over for anyone who wants not only a stellar wedding planner but also someone who is truthful, realistic, and an all around great person! Team Kate all the way!
Hiring the Coordination Company to help with my wedding planning was the single best decision I made for my wedding. There are so many small details and tons of work that go into wedding planning and I could have never done it all without the help of Kate and Ashley. From the very first Zoom call to meet Kate I knew the Coordination Company was the best choice for me. Although Kate had a wedding booked on my date, she assured me her team would be able to deliver what I needed. Her planning partner, Ashley Karanik, was INCREDIBLE and is an angel on this earth. From our first meeting in a coffee shop to a million texts, video calls, and emails she was 100% present and extremely helpful. She covered every single detail and made all of my wedding dreams come true! On my wedding day if anything went wrong, I was not aware because Ashley handled every single detail. She had small timelines for everyone and made sure the day ran smoothly. My wedding day was the most beautiful and perfect day and it could have never happened without The Coordination Company. A million thank yous to Ashley and Kate would never be enough for how beautifully they delivered my wedding day. Ashley, you are superwoman and I love you forever! Having you as my wedding planner was the best choice I made for my wedding. If you are looking for an incredible team to help you create the day of your dreams no matter your budget, look no further!
I will start by saying, there could not have been a wedding without Kate! Weddings are a lot a lot a lot of work. When deciding on a planner, you need to remember that you will be working closely together until and through the wedding. You need to really like this person! I REALLY REALLY LIKED Kate. We met at a wine bar and I was set on booking with her before I left. We opted for Kateâs partial planning package because I wanted to be very involved and make decisions, but I didnât have time for everything, plus we were getting married out of town. Kate kept me on-track and sane throughout the planning process, answering all of my (many) questions but still letting me focus on the areas that I wanted to. Once we were 30 days out (read: once you really start going nuts as a bride of a destination wedding), Kate took total control confirming details and timing with vendors, ensuring that I hadnât missed any of the tiny details (I had) and helping me run them to ground! Kate is funny, organized, calm and not afraid to tell a vendor to get themselves straight. The total (planning) package!!
Kate was truly an amazing wedding planner and one of a kind- she is incredible! She made my wedding day the most wonderful day- everything was complete and total perfection! For over a year, Kate met with me, zoomed with me, texted me, called me, guided me, and planned the best wedding EVER! She helped me book the best vendors, and she put my mind at ease whenever I was getting stressed or overwhelmed. She even went above and beyond with my mom and family (who was very involved with my wedding) and made sure to include her in everything and answer all of her questions. Kate knew exactly what my vision was, and executed it in a way better than I could ever dream. When I walked into my venue to see the final look before everyone came in, it was literally like walking into a fairytale. Kate's attention to detail, incredible communication skills, and great personality make her so easy to get along with and such a good wedding planner. I also love how Kate puts what you and your fiance want above all- her top priority is making sure that the day is exactly what you are looking for and makes you the most comfortable. She never pushes you to do something, you don't want, but always keeps you on track for the wedding. If you want an amazing planner and FRIEND, hire Kate and the Coordination Company! It will be the best decision you make for your wedding!
Kate with The Coordination Company is an absolute ROCKSTAR. She is the most incredible planner and will literally do anything to make your day perfect (ex. taking down side tent walls on the day of the wedding, have champagne waiting for you post-ceremony, bring you water during pictures, get a venue bathroom fixed on the day of). Our friends and family were singing Kate's praises all day long because she was such a joy to be around and works SO hard. She puts her heart and soul into wedding planning and spent a year and a half helping us create and live our dream. She came up with so many creative solutions and honestly saved us money with her insight and expertise. My husband and I love Kate and now consider her a friend. I promise you, Kate is 'the one' when it comes to planning your wedding, she's incredibly talented and I feel truly lucky to have had her part of our special day.
Kate and her team were AMAZING! She is so laid back and makes the planning process go so much smoother and makes you feel relaxed (even when you and your groom are Type A to the extreme đ). With planning a destination wedding, I had no idea where to begin but your first step should be booking her. I really never felt stressed during my planning process and always felt like I should be doing more but she kept assuring me we were on track/ahead of schedule. I had a million questions during the process and she was always able to answer them and/or offer a solution. She truly is an expert! She planned the rehearsal and ran a tight ship so everyone knew what to do and where to be. She handed out timelines with her cell phone and instructed everyone to reach out to her which helped us a lot too. When it came to the actual wedding day, I donât know of a single thing that went wrong! She kept us on track and to the timeline and literally all I had to do on the wedding day was relax with my girls and get ready. She even was so kind to pick up our lunch order and drop it off to us so one of us didnât have to run out. I didnât notice a single thing that didnât go according to plan so even if something did go awry- she found a way to fix it without us even noticing. Every one of my girls said it was the most relaxing Day Of which says a lot! If youâre on the fence, HIRE HER! You will not regret it!!
Kate was incredible to work with from day 1. I do not understand how some brides don't book wedding planners because I truly cannot imagine our day without her! Every little detail that pops into your head, I promise you Kate will either have an answer, or find a solution. As a destination bride, I relied heavily on Kate to help find suitable vendors to ensure my vision came to life perfectly. Not only did she help with vendors, but she came to our first venue visit to help answer questions, attended our tasting, orchestrated our entire rehearsal on-site, and was available the entire weekend for all my last-minute questions.
Now let's discuss the wedding - Kate was seriously doing it all I don't even know where to begin! She was the first person with us at the venue, Kate helped direct the entire setup (and we had 2 venues so this was no easy task), she handled every day-of item so seamlessly that I was not bothered with one issue the entire day. I cannot recommend The Coordination Company enough - I promise you will be in the best of hands! Thank you again, Kate - we couldn't have done it without you!
Not even sure where to begin. Do not walk, RUN TO BOOK THIS GIRL!! Kate truly was the best planner I ever could have asked for! When I was first looking at vendors, my parents did not want to hire a wedding planner and tried to talk me out of it saying it was a "waste of money." The morning after the wedding they called me and told me out of everything they spent money on, Kate was the most worth it! I gave her my Pinterest board and inspiration and she went above and beyond. I remember viewing my venue two hours before the ceremony, and I balled crying because I could not believe the outcome. She is very organized, and knows EXACTLY what she is doing! Everything from the planning website, to the wedding rehearsal, to the design layout. She even surprised me with a couple things on my wedding that I noticed right away! She is the sweetest soul and will always be there through the entire process. Even a shoulder to cry on if you need it. Without a doubt, you need to book Kate and you will never regret it!
Hiring a full-service wedding planner was a must when we started planning our wedding in the summer of 2020. Besides the uncertainty from COVID, we were planning for a destination wedding and didnât know any vendors. This is where Kate came in, we connected on the first âinterviewâ call and from there I felt like I could easily rely on Kate to keep me organized and stress free during the whole wedding process. I felt like she really listened to my vision and made it easy to pick vendors for our wedding. Then at 4 months before our wedding, a vendor went out of business and Kate called me immediately. She explained that she was already working on finding a new vendor and would keep me updated. I would never have known about the vendor if we hadnât hired Kate! She was very supportive throughout the whole process and provided her experiences but allowed us to make the final decisions for our day. We couldnât have planned for a more beautiful wedding day!
I had no idea the difference between a Wedding Coordinator and a Wedding Planner. I may still be confused, because the level of attention, and the amount of time Kate Bogner gave our event, was nothing short of full-service perfection. From the first phone call, I knew that her passion, professionalism, and creative spunk was going to be a fit. She continued to pamper us, with diligence and patience! Kate helped us along the way, from meeting for coffee, joining a walk through, following-up with vendors, jumping on conference calls, to calming my mother on the day of. Those are just a few of the things I was aware of.
The Coordination Company created a seamless event. All of my unique requests for the day were executed with precision. The magic was felt by all guests. We are so glad to have shared our intimate journey with such a talented crew.

Kate was professional, knowledgeable, had great contacts in the area; she helped my daughter and her fiance find an officiant within 10 days of the wedding! Everything went smoothly thanks to her. We highly recommend working with her.
Choose her, pick her! Kate was absolutely amazing and everything I needed for in a wedding planner. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and she made everything so much easier!
Pros:
-Kate is a pretty down to earth person, very chill and laid back
-sets up meetings when needed if needed
-has pretty good connections to contractors
-was willing to do anything we needed when our wedding day encountered massive issues
-drove us home after the wedding since our ride never showed up
Cons:
-if she's never worked the venue you're choosing I would be very hesitant to hire Kate, she did not seem to be very experienced at handling new places and when chaos strikes
-did not make things clear for our wedding party both at the rehearsal dinner or the wedding. We had people constantly asking us questions and calling us because she didn't make things easy or clear. This caused so much stress as this is what a wedding planners job is to do, relieve the couples stress levels and make everything easy and clear.
-forgot to give the groom and groomsmen the boutonnière to wear, we only realized after the ceremony
-it began to downpour at our reception, there was no back up plan when things went unexpectedly she simply didn't know what to do. We were left extremely disappointed by the lack of experience and initiative to find a solution.
-Kate like the rest of the contractors we hired is good at what she does when everything goes according to plan but things often don't go perfectly according to plan. This is where she just didn't operate well. The lack of experience and professionalism showed.
-the band left because of the rain and we were never informed of the decision. Kate never informed us they were leaving. We were only told after they left.
-we had so many issues with the contractors But what really rubbed us the wrong way was after everything, everyone tried blaming someone else or the rain. We understand the rain was an issue but NO ONE wanted to take responsibility for the lack of professionalism that occurred. And Kate just never seemed to want to fight for us and help us. We felt abandoned and like she was working with the contractors rather than for the clients who HIRED her. After all was done she wrote me a email saying her services were finished and if we needed any further help she would have to charge us. Believe me, what we paid for this wedding planner service was not worth the money.
Overall Kate is a nice person and willing to work hard but at the end of the day this is your wedding day and I would highly recommend someone with more experience and a little more professional.
Hiring Kate was the best decision I made for our wedding day. First off, this girl is calm as a cucumber. Even with both of our insane families and vendor issues, she showed 0 stress and always had a smile on her face, which is very helpful when it comes to wedding planning/day stress. She helped keep me organized, provided ideas and vendors and at no point is she is ever pushy. Kate is a genuine person who wants to see your day be perfect! Couldn't recommend her and the Coordination Company more!
Booking Kate (The Coordination Company) was hands down the best decision I made throughout the wedding planning from the beginning. Since I had gotten engaged, wedding planning was something I had put off and in some ways dreaded having to do or even think about. When I made the decision to hire Kate to help plan our wedding, things changed completely for me. The process became fun, inspiring, and allowed me to relieve myself of the stress and anxiety that I had previously felt with wedding planning. What once was a seemingly daunting task turned into not only an amazing experience but it also brought me someone I now consider to be one of my closest friends!
Throughout the whole process Kate was ALWAYS available and super responsive whenever I reached out to her with questions, concerns, and new ideas. She was always flexible and made time for me even if it was last minute. Most people would consider myself one of the most indecisive (and creatively controlling) people and planning a wedding was no different. We had changed our venue location two times, changed our colors more than I can count, went between different designs almost every week, and VERY last minute ended up changing both our wedding entertainment & our ceremony location. Each step of the way Kate supported my dreams, ideas, and bizarre requests while always keeping me within the means of our budget.
We planned our wedding for about a year and a half and so when the day finally came, part of me didn't even know what to expect but at this point, I had trusted Kate and our vendor team 100%. From the timeline cards she hands out to guests at the rehearsal, to leaving our wedding on Friday night, Kate executed everything BEYOND my wildest imagination. She went above and beyond just the title of 'wedding planner' - she checked on me the morning of my wedding at my hotel, she made sure everyone was where they needed to be, she even drove me to my first look. She made sure I was eating and staying hydrated at the reception, she helped me change my dresses, she even came to my Airbnb the week leading up to the wedding to learn how to bustle my dress, and more.
The Coordination Company made this experience all that wedding planning should be and more. We will never be able to express our deepest appreciation for Kate and her team for giving us a night we will never forget!
Hiring the Coordination Company was definitely one of the best decisions I made around my wedding. Kate is seriously amazing. She was professional, organized, smart, and kind! She always went above and beyond for us (we heard from an uncle that she even helped dispose of some dog mess that was left at our ceremony site right before the wedding started⌠Kate you are a life saver!) She was really helpful dealing with a more difficult vendor and took so much stress off of us during our big day, and the days leading up to it. I only wish I wouldâve hired the Coordination Company sooner!
