The Coronado

I had a wonderful experience hosting my wedding at the Coronado. The space is beautiful, and Butler's Pantry is a very well oiled machine. My event managers, Caroline and Tyler, were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and accommodating. They were receptive to all of my requests and even helped me anticipate things I did consider when planning my wedding. You can tell they know weddings inside and out - which is extremely helpful if you, like many people, have never planned a wedding before! My guests all reported back to me that the food was delicious and the waitstaff and bartenders were friendly. Also, as a bonus, all of my other vendors were very familiar with Butler's Pantry and the Coronado, so everyone knew what to expect when working with them. Highly recommend hosting your wedding at the Coronado.

We had our wedding at the Coronado last month and we were thrilled with how our big day turned out. The venue is beautiful and the staff at Butler's Pantry was excellent throughout the process. We worked with Lindsey and Lauren and can't say enough good things about them (super responsive, friendly, and always accommodating)! We would recommend the Coronado and Butler's Pantry to all considering the space for their Wedding or event.

I recently had my wedding at the Coronado, and I am so pleased with how everything turned out. I worked with Lauren & Kaitlyn, and they were very responsive and wanted to accommodate all of our wishes & requests. For example, our salad course had goat cheese in it, and I mentioned at our tasting that I wasn’t a fan of goat cheese but knew other people would really like it. Lauren & Kaitlyn took note and made sure that my salad had the goat cheese removed. And speaking of the food, it exceeded our expectations. Several of our guests said that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The Coronado was also super accommodating towards our guests with food allergies (e.g., giving our guest with a gluten allergy a gluten-free version of our ravioli dish). It goes without saying that the ballroom is beautiful and wowed our guests too. Overall, the Coronado is an exceptional spot to hold your reception, and I highly recommend it to other brides to be.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at The Coronado, and we couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - from the elegant ballroom to the beautiful cocktail hour space, it provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. We were also impressed with the level of service provided by the venue's staff. They were accommodating, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. In particular, I cannot speak highly enough of Caroline and Lindsey, our wedding coordinators who worked directly with The Coronado. From the very beginning of our planning process, they were prompt, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They helped us navigate everything from choosing an ice sculpture to upgrading our tablescapes and coordinating special lighting and sparklers. They were always available to answer our questions and made us feel confident and calm throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Caroline and Lindsey truly shone. They were professional, organized, and absolutely seamless. Every detail was perfectly executed, and we were able to relax and enjoy our day knowing that they had everything under control. They made our wedding day truly magical, and we couldn't be more grateful.

We used The Coronado for our Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception. Simply put, it was THE BEST decision we could have made. Tasha and Lindsey were so, so, so, SOOO patient and helpful and brought my Wife's vision to life in a way we couldn't have even imagined. The Venue itself is stunning but with all the wedding touches, it truly transforms into the perfect place for a wedding. Small, but important things, like free coat-check/valet service, spacious bathrooms, plenty of TVs, and more ensured our guests were comfortable and well-taken care of throughout our wedding. I don't know if there's a better wedding venue in the St. Louis Area, and I doubt there are better people to work with than Lindsey/Tasha and Butler's Pantry.

Our NYE wedding reception for our daughter could not have turned out better. It really started with the planning done months and weeks prior. Lauren and Lindsey were responsive, listened attentively, and were spectacular to work with! They worked well with our wedding planner. The staff at the reception were professional - from coat check to bar to table service. We received numerous compliments on the quality of the food. Thanks to the entire Bulter's Pantry team for ensuring a truly memorable and enjoyable evening. We could not have been more pleased and highly recommend them.

The Coronado Ballroom and Butlers Pantry catering were without a doubt the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding process. We had our ceremony and reception of 190 people in this venue and it was absolutely perfect. Tasha and Lindsey were our main contacts and they were always fantastic to work with!!! The whole night the servers and bartender made sure my husband and I were very well taken care of, anything we wanted, we were given. This amazing company just goes above and beyond every single time and were a HUGE part of why our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We love the Coronado and Butlers Pantry!!!!!

We can’t recommend The Coronado enough!! Tasha and Lindsey were phenomenal to work with! They were so helpful with all aspects of the planning process and were so quick to respond to any and all questions. They noticed small details and accommodated everything like noticing the Maid of Honor’s salad preference during the tasting and ensuring that was brought out for her at the reception instead of the salad that we chose. The staff was incredibly professional and we received so many compliments on how well the entire reception was managed. Book The Coronado and you won’t regret it!!

The Coronado and Caroline with Lindsey from Butler's Pantry did an AMAZING job with our wedding! Everything was perfection from the food, the up-lighting, the entry way decor, and the ballroom. They are easy to work with and very professional. Any questions I had, Caroline or Lindsey always responded back to my email within 24 hours if not sooner. We had our daughter's reception at the Coronado on July 9 2022. Tasha and Tyler were wonderful leading up to the event and the servers, bartenders, and valet staff were so professional and friendly. The space was absolutely beautiful and the food by Butler's Pantry was outstanding. Our guests were blown away by the whole experience. I can't imagine a better space for a reception!

We had the best experience with the Coronado at our wedding on June 18, 2022. Lindsey was an amazing coordinator and always so helpful and responsive. Our guests raved about the venue and the food!

I can't say enough about the beauty of the Coronado. I wanted a grand, historic venue, and I got it! The team at Coronado/Butler's Pantry really wants the best for each wedding and it shows. My guests had an amazing experience. Everything was as it was supposed to be except for one or two very minor nit-picky things that don't change it being a 5-star experience (like a covering for kitchen doors during the ceremony). I highly recommend the Coronado for any event and I hope I get to go back soon!

We had an amazing experience with the Coronado and Butler’s Pantry for our wedding 3/26/22. Our wedding coordinators Tasha and Lindsey were very helpful, responsive, and friendly to work with as they guided us through the planning process from day one. The food was delicious! The venue was beautiful, all our guests could not stop telling us how amazing everything looked and the space makes for beautiful pictures. Definitely would recommend! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!

I could not recommend using The Coronado and the Butler’s Pantry team more. We had our wedding reception at The Coronado on 12/31/21 and it could not have been more perfect. The space was absolutely incredible, the food was amazing, and it was truly more than I could have ever imagined. I couldn’t believe how gorgeous the space was when we walked in. I wanted elegant, romantic, and a timeliness feel to our reception and they absolutely nailed it. Caroline and Bridget with Butler’s Pantry made the entire wedding planning process so fun. From meeting at the space, reviewing place settings, answering all of my questions (they respond to you ASAP) and the wedding tasting, they could not have been attentive, responsive, and overall just fantastic to work with and they brought my entire vision to life. There are so many decisions to make when planning your wedding and to find a vendor you trust 100% with every decision and detail was the best decision we made. RUN to book your wedding reception with The Coronado and with Caroline and Bridget. Our day was absolutely amazing and we could not recommend them more…if I could leave more than 5 stars I definitely would.

This venue is incredible! The coordinators are wonderful people to work with and made planning our reception so easy! I do have some suggestions for the coordinators as well as future brides. Be prepared to plan the reception at the tasting because I was a little caught off guard and emotional about some details that hadn’t been finalized. Give yourself plenty of time for pictures. I wish our parents’ tables hadn’t been in the corner at our reception so make sure to clarify that detail. Finally, make sure there’s enough champagne available because it was very hard for my maid of honor to find a glass for me after dinner was over. I would like to end by saying we had the most amazing reception at this venue and couldn’t recommend it enough!

The Coronado speaks for itself with its gorgeous elegance and we were thrilled with the venue. Chelsea and Tasha at the Coronado were incredible! They answered all of our questions quickly and were very organized. All of our guests raved about the food from Butler's Pantry which was so yummy. Some of our guests even asked for a second serving at dinner (ha!) At the tasting, we had a hard time selecting menu items because everything was amazing! We opted for the seated service and we were impressed how quickly the food was served and no one was waiting around for their food. The servers were top-notch and provided hors d’oeuvres at the head table for my husband and me in case we didn't get the opportunity to snack before the reception. They also boxed up our top tier (we provided the box, and we had to wrap our cake when we got home) and provided us with a few slices of cake too. Also, the cake was cut by Butler’s Pantry and beautifully served with additional fruit. They made sure my husband and I were taken care of during the reception and it was a wonderful evening. One thing we noticed was that the reception hall got hot throughout the night, but that's most likely because our guests all danced the night away.

My wedding reception was held at the Coronado on October 23, 2021. It was absolutely the most elegant, magical day I could have ever have asked for. The venue was absolutely STUNNING and perfect for the classical wedding reception I wanted. I had about 250 people and there was still plenty of room. Both Bridget and Chelsea made sure my day was so special. Call me biased, but by far the best venue in St. Louis. Thank you, Coronado!

My daughter and son-n-law had their wedding reception at the Coronado Ballroom on August 7,2021. I cannot express enough gratitude to Caroline , Chelsea and the entire day of staff. This is the most beautiful venue in St Louis. Starting with our first visit, throughout all of the planning, and execution of all of the details they were amazing! Our guests continue to comment on how beautiful and detail perfect the reception was and most saying the best they had ever attended. As the Mother of the Bride I had a stress free day and 100% confidence in every detail. Our daughter and son-n-law had the most magical day of their lives. I highly recommend the Coronado and Butlers Pantry. They are truly the BEST!

My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding and reception at The Coronado Ballroom on April 24, 2021. The entire ceremony and reception was beautiful, elegant and just perfect! I as the mother of the bride, cannot thank Tasha and Caroline for all their hard work and dedication to make this dream wedding so beautiful. They have been OUTSTANDING to work with from beginning to end. The food was so delicious and just as good as the tasting. The entire staff for my daughter's special day was poised and ready to serve with Excellence! The guest are still raving over the venue, service, food and Great Time! Thank you for helping my daughter's vision for her wedding come to life. It was truly an Epic Event!

I cannot express enough gratitude to Tasha, Ciara, and the rest of the team at The Coronado for all of their hard work to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Throughout the planning process they were extremely attentive and helpful. Someone was always willing to hop on a call with me if I had any questions, and they went out of their way to make sure that every single detail was exactly how I had envisioned it. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious! We had multiple guests who raved that the food served at our wedding one some of the best they've had - not just at an event, but ever! The day of staff was also fantastic. From parking to bar tenders and servers, everyone was extremely attentive, kind, and helpful. Someone was always asking me if there was anything else they could get me or if they could help in any additional way. In summary, we had the absolute best day with our family and friends at The Coronado, and I cannot recommend them enough to any bride to be!

Where to begin...The Coronado, their day-of staff, and the planning team of Tasha and Caroline could not have been more amazing. We only looked at a few venues for our reception, but there was nothing that compared to the timeless beauty of the Coronado. Tasha and Caroline were so attentive from the very beginning, answering all my worried emails and calls. They both thought out of the box and really brought our overall vision to life. The day of staff for the reception was also so amazing. They were so professional throughout the entire evening and made sure all our needs were met. If you are looking for a high-end, timeless place for your wedding reception, look no further.

The Coronado is a high-end venue and you get what you pay for here. Our lofty expectations were exceeded by the Coronado staff. Specifically our event managers, Andrew and Tasha, were both true professionals and a pleasure to work with. We had many compliments on the food from Butler's Pantry, and the service staff did a great job as well. If you are dreaming of an over-the-top wedding, the Coronado is your venue.

I don't even think I have enough room to write all the amazing things about our wedding and The Coronado. From the first time we looked at that ballroom I KNEW that is where our wedding was going to be! We worked with Tasha and Stephanie and I am so so thankful to them for helping us have the best night of our lives. They were so easy to communicate with and they never got annoyed at all our questions :) They made this process so much easier for me and were ready to explain anything I needed. Not only did they make the planning process easy but they made the day easy! I kept waiting for something to go wrong and it never did - they took care of EVERYTHING and it went better than I could have imagined. We had guests say they teared up when they saw the ballroom for the reception - that place is just so magical. I wouldn't have done it any differently! Thank you guys for a day we will never forget!

The Coronado was the first and last place my current husband and I looked at for our wedding reception. From the beginning, we were impressed with the space and the awesome-ness of our coordinator, Tasha. We absolutely adore her. Leading up to the wedding, everything was smooth. There were a couple things missed the night of our wedding, which was a little disappointing, but it did not take away from the beauty of our night. The food is second to none.

When I started looking for a venue, I had a vision of something modern yet timeless. I searched long and hard before coming across The Coronado's website. Immediately I knew this is where I was going to celebrate one of the greatest days of my life. The venue itself is bright, with large spaces surrounded by chandeliers, unique furniture and of course the breathtaking ballroom. The best part is that you get to use as much or as little of the spaces as you would like. You are the only event the entire evening so the venue is all yours! Next, Butler's Pantry catering is the THE BEST in St. Louis. There are so many different food options to pick from. There are unique selections like Peeking Duck Egg-roll appetizers to an Arugula Salad with a Brie Cheese Wedge and Almond Slices and the most tender Beef Medallion for dinner. All my guests can talk about was how amazing the food was and how magical the venue was that evening. To top it all off, the Butler's Pantry staff (specifically Brittany Morlan & Stephanie Stack) made every step of the planning process absolutely flawless. They answered all emails immediately, checked in periodically to make sure I was doing okay with the planning process, and even made sure to ask about little details I otherwise would have overlooked. They handled all of the vendor scheduling, set up and removal. All of our gifts and cards were locked away safely all night while our guests danced the night away. At the end of the night, the staff helped clear out anything we personally brought and got everything organized before hand so it was a smooth departure. We also utilized the valet service so our guests would not have to worry about parking or walking to their cars after the reception. From one former bride to new brides - if you want the wedding of your dreams, a venue that brings the magic without having to do much decorating at all, food that guests will talk about for years to come, a stress free planning process with staff you will trust to make it all happen - there is no other choice. The Coronado will take your breath away.

Our experience at the Coronado was wonderful! From the planning process to the event execution, everything was seamless. Brittany and Caroline were wonderful to work with - so responsive and answered all of my questions. They really made me feel like I had nothing to worry about and they were right! If you want a fairytale wedding THE CORONADO IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! We did both our ceremony and wedding at the Coronado and it was perfect and catered to us personally. Tasha was truly my fairy god mother and was a life saver! She truly took care of everything and made sure to keep us on track. The wedding planning and process was so easy with her help. She puts her clients first and listens to your vision and wants your day to be perfect for you. Butlers pantry was also fabulous! We used butler pantry’s design studio for all our flowers, center pieces, ceremony decorations, ect. So it was fabulous to not have to worry about decorating because they do it all for you! Lastly the food was AMAZING! So look no further because when it comes to wedding venues it doesn’t get any better than the Coronado!

The most accommodating crew! My husband and I are so grateful for the amazing staff at the Coronado. Our wedding venue had an unexpected closing just 6 weeks before our big day leaving us scrambling to find a new space for 195 guests to celebrate our wedding. Brittany and Bridget stepped up, were always available and made our wedding reception a fabulous event. The Butlers Pantry catering and tasting, custom linen color option, Ted Drewes frozen custard bar, custom lighting color options, flexibility to set up the day before and pick up after were a few additional items that made it special. Their organization, flexibility, reliability, and support during the planning was out of this world. I would 100% recommend them for your big day!

We had our reception at the Coronado and it was an absolute dream! It's such a beautiful venue with accommodating staff and amazing food. We had our wedding and reception at The Coronado in December 2018 and it was nothing short of amazing! Tasha helped us coordinate and she is great to work with. She is super detailed, thorough, kind, and everything you would hope for in a wedding coordinator. The venue itself is perfect. It was everything I had hoped for and more. The ladies at The Coronado are absolutely amazing!! Tasha is incredibly kind and patient and answered every single one of my questions so promptly. We worked together for about 13 months while I was planning my wedding and she was there with me through the entire thing. She even helped me choose outside vendors! All of her advice was so so helpful and she truly made my dreams come true with the perfect wedding. She was my go-to girl for any wedding emergency, last minute idea, and day-of task. I could not be more happy with the service she provided us. Stephanie helped us the last few weeks right up until the wedding day and she was just as amazing! She was so nice and helpful and always there with great advice!

My Husband and I were in the process of looking at Venues when we met Nicole! She was SO helpful as we discussed our size of the guest count and what could work for us. We eventually toured The Coronado and instantly fell in love. It is so beautiful! Our wedding was NYE and all the details were perfect for the time of year. From the first day, Nicole and Stephanie made sure every detail that we wanted was cared for. They put so much dedication towards helping us plan and it truly shows. The Coronado and The Butlers Pantry employees were so amazing at our event! The food was so YUMMY, the service was wonderful! So many compliments of how great it all was. I will always remember our night and all that celebrated with us. I am so grateful we chose The Coronado and Butlers pantry - you all are so special to us. Highly recommend :)

The Coronado is EVERYTHING! As soon as we walked in I knew having our wedding there would be a dream- and that it was! The cocktail hour room has so much detail and the ballroom is absolutely stunning. The acoustics are perfect and the food was delicious! While the venue and food were both perfection, the staff is really what made our entire wedding a dream. Tasha was there from the beginning of the entire process to the very end of our wedding night- she is everything and more! Tasha is extremely personable, very organized, and quick to respond to anything throughout the entire year! She always had the best recomendations and helped tough decision making easy! We felt so lucky to have had her- we owe a lot to her for the sucess of our amazing wedding! The Coronado is everything and more!!

I viewed about 6 venues for our wedding reception and when I walked in The Coronado, I knew right away it was the one! Such a beautiful, classic ballroom with a swanky, eclectic cocktail space - so cool! In addition to that, the packages are really great. Not having to outsource for anything other than entertainment, florals, etc. was awesome. Butlers Pantry deliverers delicious food, many of our guests raved about how good it was! The in-house coordinators Tasha Irving-Davis & Caroline Behan are very good at what they do - always understanding, considerate and helpful! We always had confidence in Tasha and Caroline and it was so nice to have them a part of our wedding team! If you’re considering the Coronado - do it! You will be so happy!

As soon as I walked into The Coronado, I knew it was the perfect venue for my wedding reception. The space is absolutely stunning and the service is top notch. Tasha made sure not a single detail was overlooked. She was extremely prompt in communicating and making sure our questions were answered and every detail was in place. We looked at countless venues and when we saw The Coronado and met the team, nothing else compared. Tasha was so helpful throughout the process and made sure everything ran smoothly. The reception turned out even more beautiful than we expected and our guests kept telling us how impressed they were with the customer service and food. At any other large event, the food is typically dry. Not here! We had 150+ perfectly cooked meals. Everything turned out so well. Save yourself time and just book The Coronado! Steven & Lexi

We toured a lot of venues in St. Louis and this one is by far the most dramatic and versatile. The Coronado is a fantastic space for a variety of wedding sizes. We had both our ceremony and reception there and it was a breathtaking space. The architecture was breathtaking. My only complaint really comes from the frequent turnover of the coordinators. I am not sure if my wedding just came at a time where there was transition within Butler's Pantry but we ended up having 3 coordinators between the time we booked and the day of our event (approx a year's time). Each coordinator was great; but in terms of keeping track of vendors and managing the day of the event, I felt I needed to hire a month-of coordinator to ensure consistency and that details weren't missed. The service on the day of the event was great and my guests commented how thoughtful the waitstaff and bartenders were. The food was very consistent with our tasting and the appetizers in particular were wonderful. Overall a fantastic space that wowed my guests and one I would suggest to others!

My daughter's wedding and reception took place on February 24th at the Coronado. The Coronado venue was exceptional. Everything about the wedding and the reception, including the beautiful venue, the bartenders, the wait staff, the food, and especially the attention to detail provided by Tasha was perfect. We received several compliments from our friends about the beautiful venue and the great service. I would recommend the Coronado to anyone who is planning a wedding. Tasha and her staff are amazing.

We celebrated our wedding here on 2/3/18 and we can't say enough good things about our experience. Tasha Irving-Davis was awesome to work with and made the whole process so enjoyable. The staff was wonderful and our guests raved about the bartenders and wait staff. All professional and prompt. Because of them the evening's timeline went just as planned and even better. The food was amazing and the steaks were a big hit. Many of our guests said it was the best steak they've had in awhile, what a compliment when your cooking for 268 guests! And the room was absolutely beautiful, Tasha's attention to detail was beyond expectations. We would highly recommend The Coronado for your wedding, they helped make ours a night to remember!!

We were married on 1-6-18 and had our reception, dinner and dance at the Coronado. It was a magical event! Tasha Irving-Davis was top notch. She always set me at ease and nothing was ever an issue. She just handled it all! The food and service was impeccable. All the guests food concerns were acknowledged and were provided 5 star alternatives. A guest thanked me for providing their teen with their favorite food in place of the selected entree. I had no idea. They really do think of everything!

After a long venue search, we chose The Coronado Ballroom for our wedding ceremony and reception this past November. It is beautiful, so much history and elegance. Our event coordinator, Tasha Irving-Davis, was exceptional! She was always professional, prompt in responding, and so friendly. She helped us plan our day from beginning to end. The chefs and staff at Butler’s Pantry are top notch! The food was delicious and the staff were awesome. Our big day was a dream come true and the best day of our lives thus far :-)

The Coronado was the most beautiful venue. Courtney and Nicole from Butlers Pantry were extremely helpful and attentive from beginning to end. The food was delicious. It truly was my dream wedding; and better than imaginable.

Everything about this venue was perfect! The team at Butler Pantry, especially my Coordinator Courtney Kluge was so helpful from day one. Courtney brought my ideas to life and exceeded every expectation I had. Courtney coordinated with my other vendors so that my wedding was seamless. And the food!! Each meal was something you be served at a fine dining restaurant. All our guests raved about the food and service. I couldn’t of been happier with choosing the Coronado as our venue for the most special day of our lives thus far.

Beautiful space, excellent food, wonderful staff... the perfect venue! We were amazed at how easy they made the entire planning process. Tasha and the staff went above and behind to make the reception perfect! We had the ceremony and reception here, and the transition was flawless and they completely transformed the space during the cocktail hour... definitely a well oiled machine!

Liz was my co-ordinator for my wedding and she was amazing and so helpful with every last detail. Unfortunately, at the last second I did have to change to Tasha because Liz was moving but I was in good hands :) The venue was amazing and everything turned out stunning.

I cannot say enough good things about the Coronado Ballroom. Not only is it a beautiful venue that gave me amazing pictures and video footage, but the staff and set up were incredible. I was surprised at how easy the Coronado made the "Wedding Planning" process because of how chaotic people make it out to be. It really was quite easy and they made sure to accommodate my busy schedule and were very open and understanding of my 'wants' as a Bride. I got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on the food and how beautiful everything was. Courtney K. was the coordinator for my event and she went above and beyond to make sure that my day was everything I wanted it to be. She always answered emails promptly, detailed my contract and made changes when I asked her to. She made me feel so comfortable with her organization of the rehearsal and she orchestrated the wedding day perfectly. Absolutely beautiful ballroom. The custom uplighting and huge dance floor were ideal for the elegant feel we wanted for our wedding reception. The staff was really easy to work with and paid a lot of attention to details (even ones I hadn't thought of! ). The food was so impressive to all my guests and so delicious! On the wedding day, I really had nothing to worry about; all of the events planned throughout the night went smoothly. Hosted our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Coronado in Nov. 2016. The venue is very ornate, each room providing a unique experience and little is needed in terms of additional décor. We received several compliments from guests on the quality of the food. Absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked into the ballroom while still considering several other vendors, I knew that we had found the perfect place for our Wedding Reception. The Ballroom is stunning and took our breath away the night of our reception (we might have even shed a tear or two!). The service is impeccable and we cannot say enough kind words about our experience. Rob Schaefer made our whole experience and planning process simple and relaxing. My mother and I like to worry about all details and Rob made it so there was nothing to worry about. The evening was executed perfectly and our friends & family have all told us what an amazing time they had. The food from Butler's Pantry was THE best wedding meal I have ever had. If you are interested in a late night meal/snack, I would recommend the chocolate chip cookies. I still have friends that talk about how delicious the cookies were - so they are a must have! The bartenders were amazing and friends commented that there was never a line or wait - a detail that was very important to my husband and me. Less than 48 hours ago we were at the Hotel Coronado for our youngest daughter’s wedding reception. The purpose of this short note is to extend our heartfelt appreciation to you, and all the other people involved, that made the reception what it was. Throughout the evening, and since on social media and by other contacts, we’ve heard from people there that it was beautiful, amazing, wonderful, and like a fairytale. Their opinions mirror our own. We could not be more pleased! It was everything our daughter dreamed of growing up and more. The Coronado is a terrific venue and the lighting, set-up, linens, chairs, and other touches only enhanced it. We looked at several “name” Country Clubs, hotels and other venues before deciding on The Coronado and are glad we made the choice we did. We can’t imagine any other venue being better. Special thanks to you Liz and all the other leadership and staff there. Everything was done well. The complimentary valet parking, the bar service, food service, etc. were all provided efficiently and with a smile. You were always responsive and helpful, offering ideas and being incredibly flexible. Thank you! As you know, Allison is our youngest of four daughters and the last to get married. All of our daughters are beautiful and all of them had wonderful wedding receptions, but Alli’s was clearly the best. We’re hopeful that other friends will use the venue in the future so we can relive last Saturday night, although we will never forget it even if we don’t. I got married a little over a month ago at The Coronado, and it was an absolute dream! Rob and the rest of the staff really know what they're doing. They made my wedding the best day ever, and a true fairy tale!

There is no amount of words to describe exactly how perfect the Coronado Ballroom was for our wedding reception. For starters, it has been recently renovated to enhance the already gorgeous space. The new aesthetic is so elegant, yet eclectic – keeping the gorgeous original ceilings and floors and mixing it with a modern (gigantic!) bar and furniture. It provided the perfect back drop for drinking, dinner, and dancing. We didn’t want the night to end. The Coronado was the first (and only) venue that we looked at. It was so stunning, that we booked it the next day. Not to mention, we fell in love with Rob Schaefer, the wedding director there, and knew that he was the one person that we trusted to make our vision come to life. Right from the start, he was just a blast to work with – smart, funny, and oh-so-sassy. He knows what he’s talking about (so listen) and made our wedding night absolutely flawless. He listened to what we wanted and then offered up some wonderful suggestions (like the late night snacks and dusty rose tablecloths) to make the evening even better than we could have expected – everything was just perfect. And to make things even better, the food was unbelievable, and the flourless chocolate cake was to. die. for. We thought about possibly doing a wedding cake, but after trying the chocolate cake at the tasting, we knew we wanted to go with that option instead. Everyone raved about how delicious it was – many admitting they wanted another serving :) I could go on for days about how wonderful this wedding venue is, but I will spare you. ;) If you’re planning a wedding, I highly recommend visiting this space to see for yourself. My husband and I had the most beautiful reception at the Coronado on 3/12/16. The space is obviously breathtaking but an additional perk was that we did not have to do much decorating--only centerpieces and table flowers. The food was absolutely amazing and there are a lot of options to pick from. Above everything, working with Rob and Liz, the event coordinators, was by far the best part about booking this venue. I live in Oklahoma, and they were so amazingly helpful and supportive. They were always friendly and answered any and every question I had. They are extremely professional and are very good at what they do. If you book the Coronado, you can be 100% sure that you will have a classy, elegant wedding with wonderful food and amazing staff at your side. Our guests raved about the space--in fact, they clapped when they saw the ballroom for the first time, and they still have not stopped talking about what a great time they had. My wedding was a dream come true. It really was. Thank you so much Rob and Liz!

I got married on November 7th, 2015 and had my reception at the Coronado Ballroom. I had never been to a reception at the Coronado and I now can't imagine having it any other place. I have been told over and over by my guest that is was the most beautiful wedding reception they have ever been to. Rob was so great to work with and made the whole wedding planning process easy. I can't thank the Coronado enough for the most perfect reception.

A Magical Venue for a Magical Day! Where do I even begin with writing a review for a venue and staff that far exceeded our expectations for our wedding day? My husband and I, along with my parents, had an incredible experience working with Rob. His attention to detail made every single part of our big day on New Year's Eve magical, to say the least. We had both our ceremony and reception at The Coronado. We had a musician for the ceremony who played a non-traditional wedding song for the processional and Rob helped make the timing impeccable. It was our favorite part of the entire day. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. Once the reception started and my husband and I made it to our sweetheart table, we found that the remaining wine (my husband's favorite) used for communion was already at our table. When we were walking around mingling while guests were beginning to be served dinner, the staff made sure to leave our plates covered so our food would remain hot until we returned back to our seats. While these details seem small in the grand scheme of things, it only helped add the perfect touch and make our day even more memorable. Rob and the staff literally thought of everything to help our day go smoothly. Our guests were extremely impressed with the beauty of the venue and professionalism of the staff. They are still talking about our big day! Thank you Rob and The Coronado for an unbelievable day that we will never forget!

When looking for a wedding venue my husband and I struggled finding the best location for our vision and guest list size. A friend recommend we check out the Coronado. There is no denying its beauty and elegance from the moment you walk in the door. After saying yes to the location we hit some bumps along the way. A few months in there was a transition period resulting in a communication break down. Once back on track, things went well until the rehearsal. I was less than impressed with the professionalism of the Executive Sales Director through out the wedding weekend. His attitude reflected that we were imposing on him and his time instead of him being there for us. His curt attitude towards not only the bridal party but our guests was a great disappointment. During the ceremony there was laughter and talking coming from the waitstaff in the ballroom, guests have commented on this. Prior to the start of the reception, the lights were flickered to the point guests made comments on this also. Our guests were told they didn't need their escort cards, they just needed to sit down (these were part of their favors). Our guest book was disassembled to the point it didn't serve the purpose we designed it to. Additionally guests were reprimanded for using the restroom at certain times or attempting to talk to me when the Executive Sales Director was trying to get my attention. I wish the professionalism of the Executive Sales Director reflected the same as the beauty of the venue.

My parents hosted my wedding reception at the Coronado Ballroom, and Rob Schaefer was our coordinator. I was truly impressed by the entire event! The cocktail space was large enough to accommodate a large guest list of 260+; the servers and bar tenders were attentive and courteous. The ballroom was truly gorgeous and elegant. The dinner service was prompt and professional. Butler's Pantry provided the most delicious and beautifully presented wedding dinner that I have ever seen. Rob was wonderful to work with, from day one. He was very attentive and accommodating to my parents' wishes and visions for the wedding reception. He responds to e-mails in a timely manner. He is polite, courteous and very experienced. Most of all - you can tell he truly enjoys his career! Thank you to Rob and Butler's Pantry for making my wedding reception a truly magical evening - a fun time was had by all!

Holy cow- Rob is absolutely amazing. We planned our wedding from out of town, so scheduling time to meet and take care of business was often difficult. Rob made it a point to make and exception and meet with us on a weekend- he took time out of his busy life to help us make our wedding decisions! He was very accommodating, even throughout the Coronado's transition to Butlers Pantry catering, and renovations. He was so much fun, and made us feel like we were more to him and his business than just clients. The Coronado itself was absolutely amazing. The renovations were beautiful, and the ballroom was the elegant classic feel we were striving for. The food!! DELICIOUS. One of my favorite aspects of the Coronado was the wait staff synchronized serving each guest at a table. It was stunning! If I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing!

Stunning, beautiful, breathtaking, wonderful.... There are a lot of words that could be used to attempt to describe the experience my wife and I had with and at the Coronado. Yet, no single word can adequately convey how blown away we were by the experience. We are of the belief that while the enjoyment of a wedding day is most important for the bride and groom, it is also important to ensure that the guests who have offered so much support over the years that got you to this day are given an enjoyable evening as well. When we scheduled a visit to the Coronado, we honestly did not expect to like it. We thought we were looking for something more modern in the industrial type style that seems to be so trendy. But I am perfectly happy to admit that we were wrong. We had no idea what we wanted, because when we first walked into the lobby at the Coronado, we fell in love. We knew immediately that this was the perfect location for which we were looking. It is a gorgeous venue that is classy and open. The cocktail area is well lit and contains a piano and a bar. It was a perfect precursor to the beautiful ballroom where we and our guests would be spending the remainder of the evening dancing, conversing and having the time of our lives. Further, the food was the absolute best food I have ever eaten at a wedding. From the salad to the entrée, to the presentation of our wedding cake, I am confident in saying you cannot find better. Going into the tasting, I had heard a lot of good things about the food. But we thought that was relative to "wedding food." We were wrong again. The Coronado gives the best restaurants in St. Louis a run for their money. And its not just us saying that, our guests confirmed it. And then there is Rob Schaefer, the director and MVP of the Coronado. He puts the "P" in professional. He understands the importance of a wedding day, and immediately after meeting him we had the utmost confidence that he would ensure our day was perfect. He worked us through every detail, offered suggestions yet was not forceful, and never let the word "disappoint" even cross our minds. And he was hilarious and personable. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not at least check out the Coronado. Our guests had a blast. We had a blast. And most importantly, we have the memories of a perfect wedding reception.

My husband and I were married at the Coronado and had a luncheon in the ballroom following the ceremony. It was just like a fairy tale. The ballroom is gorgeous and Rob, the coordinator, took care of every last detail. The whole event exceeded our expectations and we still receive compliments on how beautiful it all was. My one, very small, complaint is about the parking situation. If you do not want your guests to have to do street parking in the city you will either need to pay for the garage or valet parking. That was an extra expense that was not made completely clear to us at the beginning. But the Coronado Ballroom was worth it!

I had my wedding at the Coronado in February 2014. It was absolutely amazing and was told by many people it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended. Rob was our wedding coordinator and he made it so easy for us – I don’t think I can stress this enough – he really is the best. Neither my fiancé nor I had much of an idea of what we wanted. We gave Rob a few small ideas and he came up with this wonderful vision that we could never have imagined and certainly would not have never come up with on our own. The food and cake were delicious. Having the venue, caterer, and baker in the same place was really convenient because you have fewer venders to select and coordinate with. We also received recommendations for other vendors that all worked out great. I've heard so many people say they don’t remember or didn’t have fun at their own wedding, we both had so much fun because everything was perfect and there really was nothing we had to worry about.

Run... do not walk to see this venue! As beautiful as this room is, it pales in comparison to the director, Rob Schaefer. Our reception was more than we dreamed it would be. Rob is sooo kind and professional and, well, I won't spoil the surprise, but you cannot believe the service at dinner!!! I have never tasted a more scrumptious wedding cake in my life... I looked at my husband and said... "It just happens to be our cake!" Overall, the food, the service, the room, all of the employees are simply incredible. Rob Schaefer is an absolute gem. He is a perfectionist in all the best of ways! He is so organized... he even packed our car! When our reception was over, all we took to our car was our keys! The Coronado is a total package. No hidden charges and the menu for each guest compares to no other venue! It truly was a fairy tale reception... may anyone reading this review be as fortunate and grateful as we were!

From the moment I met Rob, I was confident he would make this happen. Rob is a true professional who is passionate about his work. Throughout the night, Rob made sure we were enjoying ourselves. I never had to worry about anything! Not only was Rob extremely accommodating and reliable, but the ballroom was absolutely stunning! I was in shock when I saw the ballroom for the first time. It was all I could every dream of and more! The food and cake (pumpkin spice) were outstanding--guests are still raving about it!
