She answered every question (and there were a lot!) with kindness, patience, and professionalism, and made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free. On the wedding day itself, Hannah went above and beyond. She made everything seamless, setting up and taking down all of our wedding décor, coordinating with vendors behind the scenes, and keeping everything running smoothly—all while being the sweetest and most calming presence throughout the day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. It has such a unique and elegant charm, and we received so many compliments from our guests. The packages they offer are thoughtfully designed and incredibly inclusive—they truly think of everything and make sure all the details are covered. The service all night long was phenomenal. The wait staff and bartenders were attentive, professional, and kept everything flowing perfectly. And the food—wow! From the delicious butler-passed appetizers to the main courses, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about how much they loved the meal. We couldn't have asked for a better venue, a better team, or a better experience. If you’re considering The Covenant at Murray Mansion for your wedding—do it. It was the best decision we made!

ional about working within our desires and budget for our day, as well as making planning easy on me by providing a team to set up, take down, create a well-documented plan for the day, and giving me easy ways to get ahold of them. They even successfully snuck my hairstylist back into the mansion when I decided I wanted to cut my hair during cocktail hour (a complete surprise for our party and guests) - and no one knew! You can tell that every detail of their service is intentional to make sure the bride and groom are having a great time - down to greeting us at the door for cocktail hour with our signature drinks in hand, checking in on us and personally delivering food/drinks whenever needed, and entertaining (even holding!) the flower girl and ring bearer before they walked down the aisle. There was even a moment where we were worried my florist wasn't going to show up and I think Hanni called her 7 times to try and get ahold of her - all without me having to ask. We can't say enough good things about this venue - the beautiful space (it rained on our wedding day - still have gorgeous inside photos), the team, the food (our guests loved it too), and the support for the couple, party and family!

ended it. The venue speaks for itself, it is beautiful and breathtaking when walking in. There is character, charm, history, and elegance all wrapped up in the perfect combination. The bridal suite (3 rooms in total) on the second floor of the attached Murray Mansion is unlike any bridal suite out there. One of the reasons we chose this venue was we didn't want the stress of worrying about weather being a factor regarding ceremony, photos, etc. The venue is designed to where if you did not take one single photo outside you would not be disappointed at all. There are numerous intentional spaces, backdrops, and settings that have been created where you want to take photos inside because of the stunning atmosphere. There are multiple mural walls, bright colored sofas, intricate original detailing, and outstanding ceremony/reception ceiling with balcony. The other main reasons we chose the venue were: staff, food, and set-up/take down. The staff is top notch. We primarily worked with Hannah as well as Sydney. On your wedding day you want to feel like the venue is organized and controlled. Hannah knows exactly what she is doing and was with us every step of the way during our planning. There was no question too big or too small and we were always given a direct honest answer. Although personal, Hannah is there to do her job of making sure the venue and staff provide the best service they can for your special day and that's what we needed and wanted from a venue. Although there are multiple weddings booked throughout the year I always felt like it was "just our wedding" when visiting and having our planning meetings. Our concept, questions, ideas, and requests were focused on as if it was the only wedding. That says a lot because this means as a venue they want your vision to be executed, not what they like, what other couples like, or what another venue is doing. When we started our venue search we realized quickly how we did not want to be bothered with things like "who is bringing the forks, linens, ice, glasses". The Covenant is owned by a catering company so all the food and beverage is taken care of in house. The kitchen is never seen by guests and the food is hand delivered. As a couple booked at the venue you are invited to a tasting party with all other booked couples to select your food options. The food is high quality and not your typical wedding food at all. Lastly, and although not most importantly but possibly most valuable regarding stress is the venue handles ALL set-up and tear down of decor. I cannot count how many posts I see in these groups where family members are having to work the day of the wedding or Brides are having to shell out extra money to hire someone to do these tasks and how stressful this is. My parents were able to literally drop off all the decor and when we showed up for our rehearsal the entire venue was set up (minus fresh floral which came the day of). There are endless options for venues however if you are looking for a classy, elegant, fun, creative, historic, detailed, and professional bright venue The Covenant At Murray Mansion is it.

If you are considering the event space, especially after seeing how stunning it is (and yes, it is even more beautiful in person), the level of personal touch and thoughtfulness that this team provides will be the icing on the cake! We got married on January 21, 2023 with 175 guests. The feedback from the guests has been overwhelmingly outstanding: cocktail hour, food, Photo Booth, music, facilities, etc. Memories that will be cherished forever by many were made here, thanks to this amazing Covenant Team who made it all possible!

d glass windows, gothic light fixtures in the Covenant and a clean, thoughtful design in all the rooms the mansion. It's easy to have a very memorable wedding when the venue is this unique. And there is no shortage of photo op areas, inside and out. Next, the food was awesome. My husband and I were very impressed at the tasting, and we heard nothing but great things about all the food from our guests the night of the wedding and after. My 88y/o grandma cleaned her plate! Venue, food, and music were the top three important things to me and TCATMM definitely delivered where they were supposed to! Our coordinator Hannah worked with us on upgrading our menu to provide two dual-plate options (another very important thing to me). We gave the choice of chicken and salmon, chicken and pork, or pasta to our guests and the meat was tender, salad was fresh, and sides, appetizers, and late night snacks were plentiful, hot, and tasty. Note to couples - make sure to put on your RSVP card for people to specify who wants what entree! I also booked the adjacent AirBnb for myself and bridesmaids the night before the wedding for getting ready before getting access to the venue to check on last minute details. It was pretty expensive for just one night because of the cleaning fee, but worth the price for convenience and peace of mind. The venue was set top to bottom by Hannah and team (tablecloths, numbers napkins, chargers, centerpieces, placecards) - they even helped iron/steam the tablecloths that we brought in. It was great walking through in the morning and not worrying about doing anything myself. Our ceremony was somewhere else, so we rushed a lot the day of and Hannah gave me a walkie-talkie to communicate with her. She helped set up mimosas, bring my leftover things to the bridal suite at the Covenant, and even bustled my dress! It was a huge relief having someone onsite all day to help with the little things that you don't think about. I will say though, while the price point for renting the venue and hosting the reception (all inclusive apps, dinner, toast, and bar) was within our budget, some of the rentals were pricier that we had expected. My husband and I ended up purchasing our centerpiece lanterns, table runners, chargers, and floor length tablecloths as it was cheaper than renting and we can resell it all. For a couple that doesn't want to worry about buying and selling, there are really nice rentals available. We did rent the photo booth though which was a huge hit as well as it's the digital kind that you can send pictures straight to your phone or email vs. print. Lastly, the team cleaned everything up for us at the end of the night and let us pick everything up the Monday following, so we didn't have to worry about getting anything home that night. Like I said, we brought a TON of our own stuff in, and Hannah and team packed everything up into the boxes I brought and had it all ready to be picked up. I've been to weddings were the bridal party and family need to get everything out that night, and it's a huge relief we didn't need to worry about that. If we had to do it all over again, we would absolutely book the Covenant again for our wedding.

credible. Anytime I had a question, no matter how ridiculous it was, she responded right away. I always felt loved and supported since day one with her. They took an insane amount of details off of our plate, which lightened the load for me immensely. Not to mention, the food and drinks were all enjoyed by everyone and we got so much feedback from our guests that the food was delicious and the venue was beautiful! My dream for my wedding day was to have everything in one place. We got married in December, so it was important to me that my guests did not have to leave and transport to a different venue in the cold weather. I am so thankful The Covenant provided everything we needed. The guests loved cocktail hour in the Mansion, and some of my bridesmaids and I actually stayed at the air bnb the night before and it made the morning so convenient and easy. They set everything up, tore everything down, and we picked up the decorations a couple days later so the night of the wedding we could just take off and we didn't have to worry about clean up! That was one of the best parts. Again, these guys were worth every penny. I will be forever thankful for how well they took care of us. Book with them, you won't regret it! And go all out.....you won't regret that either!

We slept at the Air BNB attached to the mansion the night before, got ready in the mansion, took photos outside and inside (SO many beautiful scenes), and had our ceremony AND reception there. I wish I could relive the day over and over again. I would recommend this venue to everyone!!

From late night emails and texts during planning, to day of support, we never had to worry about a thing. The team was there for us 24/7 and made us feel like their priority! The Covenant made our wedding day easy! We are both amazed at how seamless they made our experience, from setting up our decor to keeping the day flowing. We did not have to worry about a thing, and simply enjoyed our wedding together! In addition, almost every single guest has reached out to us to comment on how beautiful the venue was, and multiple people have told us that it was “the best wedding food they have ever eaten”!! We absolutely would agree. The scenery, staff, food, drinks, and environment was nothing short of perfect. It was a dream day and we would choose The Covenant 1 million times over again! and my husband's family are from the Chicago-land area. One thing that my husband wanted was to have a space for him and the rest of his guys to be able to get ready in. It takes a little coordination, but I was able to avoid my husband the whole day while getting ready. Obviously with help of our day of coordinator Sydney and the rest of the Covenant team. I had lots of great communication with Sydney, and she was so personable and fun to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the venue and made it an easy transition after I started working with Hannah in the beginning of the planning process. She made pick up and drop off of all our decor super easy. Everything looked incredible with limited effort on our part. The day of, Sydney, Katie, and Cathy were amazing in helping me get down the aisle. Our guests loved endless beautiful places to take pictures in both Murray Mansion and in the Covenant. Everyone raved about the whole staff and the food and drinks were top notch throughout the whole weekend. You aren't going to go wrong with any food choice you pick from Culinary Infusion! I would 100% do my wedding there all over again! Thank you thank you thank you to everyone at the Covenant for all your love and support!

S. was with us the most as we got closer to our wedding day and she was amazing. She made sure everything went smoothly and was there to do everything I couldn't. This venue does it all. They provided the food, alcohol, coordinator, and took care of all set up and take down of decor. The serving staff was so friendly, the food was outstanding, and it was overall just absolutely stunning. Being able to get ready with my bridesmaids in the mansion was so much fun and every corner of that place makes for the best photos. I truly appreciate how much they did for me and how wonderful everything turned out!

We met with Hanni when we were there, and she could not have been more helpful in explaining pricing and wedding details. They were actually hosting a small event when we took our tour, and the chef (her dad - loved that it's a family business!) brought us a plate of food we got to try - the food was DELICIOUS. There was also a small Airbnb attached to the house (renovated and totally adorable as well) that you can rent for the weekend. Unfortunately the date we were looking for wasn't available, but I still can't say enough good things about Hanni and the whole team at Covenant. Any couples in the area looking to get married should definitely check it out!

The colors are nuetral and elegant so no matter what your style or color scheme the venue is a perfect backdrop. We got married in the winter so not many options to go outside but the interior was plenty of space for us and our ~140 guests. Numerous guests came up to us and said how gorgeous the space was and how our wedding was one of the prettiest they've been to (I might be bias but I obv agreed with them too!) I highly recommend renting the entire venue to get access to the bridal suite; my bridal party and I got ready there and it was perfect for pictures and plenty of space for us all to get ready for the big day! I also recommend renting the attached AirBnb The Parish House if its available. My bridesmaids and I stayed there the night before and it was so convenient! The staff is also amazing, we worked with Hannah during planning and then worked with Hannah and Lexi the day of. Hannah really helped me with all the details and answered my millions of questions (you never truly realize how many details are involved in a wedding until you plan your own). She was so sweet and truly made my vision come to life, I fully trusted that she would make things look perfect (and she did!). Both Hannah and Lexi took such great care of us, they really make you feel like family. It was so comforting to have such a great staff that I trusted and are just nice good hearted people! The food was also great! We did the wedding package which was a great option; it made the planning process really easy and offered a variety of options to pick from. Appetizers, Food, Linens, Uplighting - worth every penny! I loved all the food but the cocktail hour appetizers were my favorite! The chicken and waffles and the pulled pork cornbreads were amazing! This place is just a dream! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We did the whole property rental and for having almost 200 people it was the perfect amount of space. The food is fabulous!!!!!! I highly suggest renting the air bnb that is on property as well, it made getting ready extremely easy and nice to have added space for your bridal party to hang out in and get ready. We truly loved this venue and all of the staff. They made the day go absolutely smooth and took care of everything!!! Our wedding was perfect and we are 100% pleased with how everything turned out and the amount of care that the staff put into everything!!

tive and the food is absolutely amazing. We had 145 people RSVP that they were coming, and I was worried that the space would look empty but it didnt. I have also been there for a wedding of 250 and it didn't feel cramp at all. The space has an amazing layout. Guests can sit and watch people dancing or stand by the bar and watch people dancing. No one was pulled away from the party (unless you had to go to the bathroom). Our dance floor was packed the whole night and I believe that was not only from a great DJ, but also because everything was right there. Leading up to our venue, the venue coordinator was so attentive by timely responding to emails of my many many questions - even if I had previously asked the same question. They were very helpful with reminding us about certain deadlines, and forgiving if we forgot a deadline. They are very accommodating, everything from dietary restrictions to needing a chair with arms to adding 2 large donut walls in their space. They were so helpful with setting up our table/venue decorations and it was so beautifully done. During the reception, they were always there, having very l quick, quiet responses. For example, when a glass broke on the dance floor, before we made it to the bar to tell someone about the broken glass, they already had it halfway cleaned up. Even though they were there, you couldn't tell! The food. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It was the best food. We had so many compliments about our food. I wish they could open a restaurant so we could have our wedding meal again. Everything about our wedding went so perfect and the staff at The Covenant at Murray Mansion were a huge reason why it was so perfect. I was never stressed about the day, they were all very calming. I can go on and on about how perfect this place is, so book them! You will not regret it! ☺️

The venue is stunning no doubt, but what truly makes this venue remarkable was the DELICIOUS food and the kind, hard-working, and all-around amazing staff! The owner - Keith & Kathy Meyer, are absolutely amazing and truly went above and beyond to ensure our day was absolutely perfect!! We couldn't be happier with everything - 100% recommend this venue to anyone & everyone!!

ever, I didn't like the way any of them looked. The Covenant was the perfect compromise. It had the clean, elegant look that I wanted with the beautiful stained glass of a classic church. It also had the bonus of working with Hannah. She was absolutely phenomenal. She gave me all the tools I needed to make my wedding everything I dreamed of. Hannah was timely and informative with her responses and extremely professional. The day wouldn't have gone smoothly without her. The food was the only issue I had with the venue. They gave us a Spring Tasting which was an awesome way to try all the food that the venue had to offer. The food was all so delicious that my fiance and I had a hard time picking what we wanted to have served for our special day. The only thing we knew we wanted for sure was the honey garlic chicken on the bone. We picked it right away for our main entree. However, when I went to the buffet line on the wedding day, that was not the chicken that was served so I was pretty disappointed. The chicken we got instead was a dry breast with herbs on it. A few of our guests asked about it because it obviously wasn't the chicken that we had been hyping up since the Spring Tasting.

Not only did my husband and I enjoy ourselves at the tasting for the wedding but all of our guests could not stop complimenting it. The Covenant is so beautiful and they made us feel so special. The staff even came around and served us our cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres as we were taking our photos while our guests enjoyed the cocktail hours. I worked with a catering company that traveled to many different venues and I have never experienced anything like I did here. Thank you so much to Hanni and your team at the Covenant for making our wedding day flawless and amazing. We absolutely would choose to have our day here over and over again.

Prior to the wedding date, Covenant staff met with us as much as we asked and were great to work with. They also offered suggestions and ideas that we hadn't even thought of. Staff paid great attention to detail and were professional. They completely took care of set up, and were there every step of the way during the day. I cannot recommend The Covenant at Murray Mansion enough!

On the wedding day, we had the entire property and getting ready in the Mansion was extremely convenient and there are so many photo opportunities. Our photographer was in heaven! If there were any issues, I didn't know it! Our day couldn't have gone more smoothly and that is all thanks to Hanni, Lexie, Hannah, and the rest of the staff. Hanni had worked with us from the beginning with The Covenant & it was great to have someone so easy going, friendly, & upbeat to work with. She made our experience feel special, not just another wedding on their books. She was on top of every little detail. We had some issues with our guest count, so we had to make adjustments to our original plan in the last weeks leading up to the wedding, but she was there with recommendations & understanding that things like this happen. Hannah was on hand the day of the wedding (& rehearsal) with Hanni, & they were amazing! We dropped off all our decorations the day before & gave them the rundown on what they were, they nailed every detail!! We had our cocktail hour in the Mansion, we had so many flowers & candles that I told them to use them however they wanted or don’t, & they decorated the Mansion perfectly. The head Chef was very accommodating to my MOHs food allergies, even confirming details one last time at our rehearsal. He even came to us at dinner to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We received so many compliments on the food, the venue, the service, & the attention to detail!! They rocked! They kept us on track with our timeline & were in constant communication with our vendors before & during the wedding. We agree with our guests, everything was phenomenal!!! The Covenant at Murray Mansion was perfect. Our wedding was perfect. They helped make it all possible!
