The Crocker House

Working with Stephanie at the Crocker Ballroom for our upcoming event has been seamless. She has helped us with so many things along this journey making event planning fun and not a chore. She has accommodated all our needs. Allowed us to see the venue several times as needed for measuring and adjusting our plans. I highly recommend this venue it is new and fresh with a great kitchen facility. Large or small events can use the space as there are a couple great options.

I attended my brothers wedding on the evening of 6/30/18. I was extremely disappointed with service he and my sister in law received from the manager at Crocker House Ballroom and that's putting it lightly. They were told the evening before the event that there was a "problem" with the AC...when in all actually it couldn't be repaired before the wedding would take place. The maintenance staff set up fans, yes I said fans on one of the hottest days of the week! My brother had to scramble to find large fans, rent them and then transport them to the Crocker House Ballroom the day of the wedding instead of getting ready to be married. The manager did nothing to accommodate them nor offer them another venue, getting the rest of the deposit was the only thing on her mind. Needless to say it was unbearably hot, the food was melting, the cake melted, people were leaving early and hundreds of dollars were spent in addition to the initial deposit to "make it work". I am appalled that the management allowed the venue to be used under such extreme heat conditions. On top of that the refrigerator stopped working and so did one of the ovens, the caterer not only had to work in a 92 degree kitchen, he didnt even have the proper tools to get the job done. How he managed to serve up such a wonderful meal is amazing. I guess once you've paid to rent this venue you're pretty much on your own at the Crocker House Ballroom.

Well, you get what you pay for...This venue was much more affordable than others and included the tables, chairs, and use of outdoor courtyard. It ended up raining so we had to move the ceremony inside, so thankfully there was lots of space. Also The courtyard is always open to The condo residents, which they didnt tell me until after we booked. The ballroom is beautiful. The Crocker House however is terrible to deal with. You bring your own caterer and other vendors thank god, but even dealing with them for the space was an awful experience. Management turns over, changes their minds, doesn't respond in a timely fashion and every little thing was a hassle. If you decide to use them make sure you get any little thing they tell you in writing or they will turn around and change their minds. Also you cannot use their parking lot even though it is NOT marked residents only, they threatened to tow our guests. The morning of our wedding they insisted one of us has to personally pick up the key (not the caterer as is customary) and when we showed up to get it they didn't even have it! Completely unprofessional and difficult throughout the whole process. Beware of the 'deal' you think you're getting.

The room was beautiful;get everything in writing and make sure you ask every question that comes to mind. make sure you know everything you need to know. i didn't have any issues though
