The team at the Curvy bride could not have been more welcoming. For the moment I walked in with my entourage we were made to feel welcome and encouraged to look around. Being a plus size bride that is no always the case. You get individualized attention, which really was a plus in my opinion. The first dress I tried on ended up being the dress I bought, but I tried others on just to make sure. Purchasing was very simple so we’re alterations. I used one of the ladies from the store to do alterations and I could not have been happier. Such a wonderful experience

From the moment we walked in through picking up my altered wedding dress, my experience at The Curvy Bride was wonderful. Minute we walked in, my entourage was welcomed. I was shown dresses in my price range and there was no hard push for a sale. We ordered my dress and a couple extra bottles for some changes I wanted to do to the sleeve as well as my veil. Everything came in timely, and I did my alterations through them as well. Overall, an excellent experience!

I had such a great experience. I was so nervous to look for dresses because clothes shopping is always frustrating. The staff is so kind and sweet! I’m so happy I found them and made the trip to try on dresses and found my dress!

As a plus-sized woman, I was very, very nervous about what my wedding dress shopping experience would be like. The Curvy Bride put all of those fears to rest. It wasn’t that I had to imagine what dresses would look like on me when I got the right size, but since they cater exclusively to plus-sized brides it was just a matter of finding a dress that felt like me. Every visit was phenomenal, and I felt so beautiful in my dress. I can’t recommend this place enough to plus-size brides. 1000+/10

I went to The Curvy Bride to find my wedding dress and I had the best experience. The entire staff was so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. Katlyn was my consultant and we found the perfect dress. I had my alterations done with Kristina there, also. She was so amazing and detailed. I can’t say how good she made me feel and the beautiful Joe she did on the alterations. My mom had her dress altered by Kristina, too, and it also was perfect. I can’t say enough positive things about the store.

Fantastic team! Dayna was a fabulous stylist and pulled so many beautiful dresses that worked so well with my body. She is so kind and sweet and I had such a wonderful time with her. I said yes to the dress here and it was absolutely stunning, beyond my wildest dreams! Lydia worked as my seamstress to alter my dress to me and she made it absolutely perfect. This is a beautiful bridal salon and the staff is so kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. 10/10!

The Curvy Bride 10/10 - I cannot express enough how much I LOVE this bridal store and the people in it. Everyone was so kind to me during my entire experience with them. From the moment we had our trials and then when I choose the dress, and added personalized alterations to my dress. It was so easy to feel beautiful and comfortable in this boutique. Not to mention when it came to customizing my dress, I had Christina as my seamstress and she was amazing. She brought my visions to life and made every one of our appointments so enjoyable.

As a plus size woman finding a dress is often a pain in the you know what. I saw this black wedding dress on their website and I had to try it on. I tried others on, some white and black, and a white one. My mom and my 3 girls were all in agreement that white isn't my color and I don't look right in it lol My bridal consultant, bless her heart, was a doll and I wish I brought cash with me to tip her more than I could have then I did on my card. As my air head didn't think before I got there. I fell in love with the black sparkly dress with the peasant sleeves. As I wore it and held myself I knew that dress was meant to be mine, and the cathedral veil just made it all that more dramatic and lovely.

I had a wonderful experience at Curvy Bride. The staff were kind and patient throughout what can be a very stressful process! I said yes to my dress and came back a few months later to pick it up. I purchased a veil and headpiece (headband) from the shop and was so pleased with the custom service. I ended up going to a seamstress closer to my home but knew their services were available if needed.

I found my wedding dress at the Curvy Bride and was really happy with the staff who assisted me. When I arrived for my appointment they only showed me dresses that were in my price range and helped me pull different styles because I was unsure of the type of dress I was looking for. I ended up finding my actual size with a sample dress and was able to walk out that next day when I came back for the dress to purchase it. I felt no pressure to buy the dress and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Being a plus size bride I was having insecurities during the wedding dress shopping process, but at the Curvy Bride I really appreciated everyone being so encouraging and supportive!

All I can say is that… I enjoyed my visit so much, I want to return just to keep trying on dresses for fun! While I did find and purchase my perfect dress here, I cannot get over what a wonderful environment they have created here. They made me feel comfortable, special, and confident. Each member of the staff that I met that day was patient and understanding. I never felt pressured to try on certain styles or even to make a purchase. I was listened to and made comfortable in a setting that could easily become overwhelming, especially for a plus-sized body. And on top of all of these amazing qualities, they have a gorgeous range of dresses in every silhouette or material you could want. I truly wish I could give this place an even higher rating! I will recommend this to every bride I come across in the future. I can’t wait to return for my fittings and to continue working with such a wonderful staff. Thank you for everything!

The Curvy Bride was even more amazing than I had imagined. I truly felt so special, got to try on any and every dress that I liked. Everyone was so welcoming, and so many employees stopped in to tell me how beautiful each dress looked on me. I truly felt like I was a bride. Dayna was my stylist and I could not recommend her enough. She listened to me the entire appointment, reassured me when needed, and in the end took my favorite things from each dress and found me my perfect dress, with everything I loved in the other dresses. It felt like this dress she pulled was made for me. I cannot say enough phenomenal things about my experience and I would recommend The Curvy Bride and Dayna to any plus size bride!!! My experience at the curvy bride was my favorite and least stressful part of wedding planning. Being a curvy woman I knew finding a dress that made me feel beautiful and sexy would be difficult so the thought of wedding dress shopping was horrifying to me. I went to another shop and accepted my fate of simply getting whatever fit. I was excited when my soon to be wife told me about The curvy bride and made an appointment as soon as I could. From the moment I entered the boutique I felt welcome and confident. I told them my vision and LITERALLY the first dress the stylist picked embodied everything I wanted. Not only is their selection GORGEOUS but the women of Curvy Bride are truly doing an amazing thing by starting this company that makes bridal wear accessible to those who are not a size 2. I will never stop being grateful for my wedding dress experience and I have never felt more beautiful than the day of my wedding.

They had a nice private area for me and my friends set aside for our appointment. Dayna was my bridal consultant, and she was such a spark of joy. Spending time with her was like being with an old friend! She was a great listener and it only took a few dresses for me to find the one! I was able to buy it off the rack and take it home with me, making it such an easy and enjoyable experience. The dress was super flattering, beautiful, and simple, just what I wanted. My friends loved Dayna and her personality was truly a joy! Highly recommend Dayna and this fantastic shop, thank you for everything!

Run, don’t walk to The Curvy Bride! I booked the VIP appointment and had the best experience. I felt so comfortable shopping here, and everyone on their staff is fantastic. There were so many dresses to choose from, and they did not pressure you at all, but I found the one on my first visit. I had gone to one other shop previously to narrow down the styles I liked, and it did not compare. I would not have found my perfect dress if it were not for them, after I gave some feedback about what I loved and didn’t like, they brought out THE dress. I fell in love. Their customer service is truly unmatched.

I bought my dress in October 21, and got married in October 22. I hate shopping and was dreading the process to start things off. However, the staff there are some of the best people I've ever met. I was able to try on about 6 gowns of a similar style to what I wanted. I ended up not buying that day, and was not pressured or treated differently! I scheduled 2 weeks later and upon arrival was shown a brand new dress to the store. I figured, why not try it, right?? Turns out, it was my dream dress after all. I couldn't take it off in the store and luckily was able to buy off rack. The selection is insane, even for very extended sizes, such as myself. I never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome, and truly loved the experience! All the women at the shop clapped and applauded when I said yes to the dress, which was so meaningful since some staff didn't even know me at all. I felt like an absolute princess in my dress on my wedding day. I even traveled 1.5 hours to get there - and it was worth it!!

I could write a book on how amazing The Curvy Bride is ! They are so personable and literally the nicest people ever ! They make you feel like you’ve known them your whole life. This was the 1st and only bridal store I visited. They fit all budgets and I felt absolutely AMAZING in my dress. The staff of absolutely amazing ! If they sold other dresses besides bridal I would always shop here ! Love The Curvy Bride !!!

My daughter had severe gown regret and contacted the store within a week asking if she could pick a different dress. they had misrepresented several facts about the original dress as well. They refused to switch to another dress or refund any money. I get that they say all sales final but they werent losing a sale for a more expensive dress and I know for a fact it is not the manufaturer's policy. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE BRIDE'S BEST INTEREST AT HEART. SHOULD HAVE TOLD HER THE DRESS SHE PICKED DID NOT SUIT HER BODY TYPE AND SHOWN HER MORE THAN 6 DRESSES!!!!

There are plus size brides and then there's me, off the charts plus size. I have always hated clothes shopping with a passion and I was absolutely dreading dress shopping. I braced myself for a limited selection and assumed I wouldn't be able to try anything on in my size. My expectations could not have been further from my reality. I not only had multiple options of beautiful dresses, but I was able to try them on in my size! Michelle heard what I was looking for and found several contenders right off the bat, and included a few more based on what I shared she thought I would like. Many places try and upsell you on gowns and accessories, however I had the opposite experience. After trying on half a dozen dresses, any of which I would have been happy with, Michelle brought one out from off the rack that she thought met all my parameters, and she was right. Her suggestion was hundreds of dollars less than what I had been trying on, but was the perfect dress for me. I appreciated her putting my happiness above the profit margin. She and Purvin were pleasant, helpful, and so accommodating. It was such a refreshing and rare experience to have so many viable options, to not feel embarrassed that nothing fit, or to have only limited options; I got to feel like a bride and not the fat girl!

They have such a beautiful selection and make you feel comfortable in your body! Totally made the dress I wore feel like it was MY dress, not just a dress.

I didn't even know plus size bridal shops existed until I was told by a friend to check out The Curvy Bride. I went to 3 other bridal salons before coming here and none of those experiences even came close to how I was treated during my appointment with MaryAnn. She was so friendly, listened to what I want, didn't force me to "just try it!" when I didn't want to, but was also able to suggest some styles for me that I hadn't thought of before. She was never, ever, pushy and I never felt rushed into making a decision. I purchased a gown that I knew I liked (I had tried it on at one of the previous appointments at another shop), and MaryAnn saved it for last because I had indicated that it was my favorite. When my mom cried I knew that it was perfect. I bought my dress during a trunk show and got 15% off the total cost, which is due in full at the time of purchase. From there, all communication and appointments were set up with ease. I also did alterations with their seamstress, Lydia, who was fantastic. Truly I loved my experience with everyone there and I can't recommend them enough. If you don't fit into the typical body type and want to feel confident, take the trip to see the lovely stylists at The Curvy Bride! My drive was over an hour one way and it was worth every minute. What can I say about a business that caters to all sizes and gracefully guides clients to the perfect dress. This was the only place my daughter and I looked. We came from the Philadelphia area, so we needed to be sure there would be a large and beautiful selection. We won't disappointed. We were supported by all of the staff there that day. Maryann led us to the samples, looking at two sizes. She chose three, I chose one and my daughter chose the last one. You have your own private room where Maryann assisted as much as my daughter allowed. First dress - LIKED, second dress NO, third dress - OK. I followed my daughters lead every time, but thank goodness we did agree. Fourth dress, she said, "Oh I like this". I said, the same. She said, "I like this a lot", I said the same. In front of full mirror she said, "Oh I think this is it". I said, "I do too, it's a beautiful dress, it's exactly what you wanted and you look beautiful". It was so emotional and I was so relieved, I didn't cry. I did turn to the fifth dress on the hanger and asked her, "Are you sure, because you can try this on". No this is the dress ! We were just so happy. Maryann quick grabbed the "Say Yes To The Dress" sign, everyone in the shop including another client clapped and asked the question. It was such a lovely moment for us. We took the dress home that day and had it altered by local shop. My daughter was beautiful on her wedding day! Everyone commented on the gown because it was special and you could tell how happy she was wearing it. It was a fairy tale dress for a fairy tale setting. Thank you Ladies of Curvy Bride.

There are so many positive things I have to say about The Curvy Bride. 10/10 for sure! It starts with the ease of the website for booking appointments. I called to ask a question and the owner, Michelle, called me back on a day that the salon isn't even open. I also had to call the day of my second appointment and Pervin answered "Hey Nicole!" immediately as if I was calling a friend. So personal, great customer service. We worked with Maria, Pervin, and Michelle between our two appointments. All three of them are lovely and every single second from when we walked in the door until leaving the building we felt and were treated like beautiful women. They are so body positive and had not one negative thing to say about any of the dresses my fiance and I tried on. We were looking for two dresses and arrived a little early for the appointment. I called to see if we could come in a half hour early and we were welcomed right in. The appointment lasted two and a half hours (way longer than the scheduled time) and I did not feel rushed at all. Michelle kept picking out dresses for me to try on because I was so undecided on what I truly wanted. There were sleeves I loved from one dress and wanted to add them to another, and Pervin called the dress maker and they were able to sell the sleeves separately if I wanted them! Above and beyond all expectations. Their dress selection is amazing and the dresses are all in sizes that you can't find at most bridal shops. I had previously gone to another bridal salon and had a terrible experience because all of the dresses were too small. Not at The Curvy Bride! Even if a dress wasn't our size, Michelle used her clips and tucked everything in to make it feel like and look like it fit. On top of all of that, you have the entire salon to yourself during your appointment, so you have the full attention of the staff and a personalized experience that is so hard to find! No trying on dresses next to a size 0 or not having enough seats for your entourage. Plenty of space and seating for everyone to enjoy the experience with you! A friend we brought with us is a type 1 diabetic. Her sugar was getting low and Michelle offered her a snack to help get her sugar back up. We truly felt that even though we walked in as strangers, we left as friends! I HIGHLY recommend checking out The Curvy Bride. I can't say enough good things about our experience. It's so hard to find clothing as a plus size person and not many stores do it right. The Curvy Bride does it right!

From the moment I walked in I felt so welcomed! They have the most amazing vanilla air fragrance! They are so kind and easy to work with! I had visited a few other stores and still did not have any vision as to what dress I wanted. MaryAnn was soo patient and intuitive. She knew with each dress what direction to take the next one in. She eventually found me my dream dress that was completely in my budget and out of my comfort zone. It was a dress I was not expecting to fall in love with, but with MaryAnn's guidance I found my dream dress. Everyone in the store was such a cheerleader. I really enjoyed my shopping experience with them!

I got married in January and realized I never left a review. I recently brought one of my best friends there to find her dress (she did!) because honestly it is so hard finding clothing in general being as busty as we are. Finding things that fit are hard and I never wanted to feel upset that they didn't have my size to try on, especially when it is such an important and expensive purchase. Going to The Curvy Bride I got to feel good about myself trying on dresses. The women there made me feel special and understood how important that was. The Curvy Bride made me feel like a princess on my wedding day! When I started my wedding dress shopping, I had a hard time finding something I liked in my size. When I found The Curvy Bride on Facebook, I knew I had to schedule an appointment. Michelle made me feel like such a beautiful bride and for once, I didn’t feel “plus size”, I just felt like a bride. Such an amazing place!!

When I knew I wanted to start searching for my wedding gown, I instantly started stressing about what options I was going to have as a plus size woman. Were my options going to be severely limited since most stores don't carry a wide selection of plus size samples? Was I going to be limited to a single style gown? I found The Curvy Bride through WeddingWire and how happy am I that I stumbled upon them. I made the over 1 hour trip to and back from them countless times (finding my gown, picking it up, ordering my veil, 2 fittings and then final pick up) and I'd do it all over again if I had to. The owner was so nice, friendly and flexible. The girls out front were always happy and personable. Their seamstress, Lydia, is a complete miracle worker. After I ordered my gown I ended up loosing some weight, not a ton, but definitely enough to make a difference in my gown.. and she took it in all over the place and hid the seams flawlessly. I've always hated dress shopping, I have a large bust and dresses never fit me right, but the team at The Curvy Bride made sure my dress was perfect. They are THE BEST! Everyone is SO friendly and they truly made me feel beautiful on my special day! I received so many compliments on my dress! They also put a ton of work into it, they added sleeves and added extra lace from my dress to said sleeves-- it came out flawless! you couldn't even tell they weren't a part of the original dress! They also helped alter my mother's veil which I wore for my wedding. All around great service and I totally recommend them!!

Had an awesome experience at The Curvy Bride. As someone who is more mid-sized, I was always nervous trying on dresses. I went to one other store before The Curvy Bride, and was so happy with my experience at The Curvy Bride with their inclusive sizes and wide variety of dresses. Plus they carried Essence of Australia, which was a brand I had followed for years and not too many NJ stores carry it. I fell in love with my gown, and couldn’t have dreamed of a better dress for me. It’s funny because I went in with the mindset I wanted long sleeves A-line, and walked out with a strapless ballgown. But it was just perfect. I did all my alterations through the store as well, and she was amazing as well. Could not recommend any more.

The warm and friendly staff at The Curvy Bride in Manalapan, New Jersey could not have been any better! Each time we arrived for an appointment, the staff was ready for us, pleasant, friendly and extremely helpful. Our personal associate took the time to ask questions, give advice and suggestions, and offer solutions which went way above and beyond what is normally expected at a bridal salon. The patience and kindness which was shown to us at The Curvy Bride confirmed that we made the right decision when we chose this shop to purchase a bridal gown. Both Pervin and Mary Ann researched designers and availability for us in order to help us make our selection. I can say for certain that they put in extra hours trying to locate the perfect dress for my daughter, which was a combination of several different styles and features that she had tried on. It goes without saying that she was extremely happy with the final result, and we are grateful for all of the extra effort that was put forth on her behalf. As a tall curvy plus size woman I have never felt so comfortable in my life shopping for a dress especially my wedding dress. The sports he goes above and beyond any boutique or store. They have a beautiful selection! I recently had my wedding on September 10, 2021 after being rescheduled due to Covid! And I couldn’t be any happier with my selection! After losing an extensive amount of way to the medical issues it meant the world to me to feel like a princess and have my dream wedding! The amount of love and enthusiasm I have for The Curvy Bride is unparalleled! I am a curvy bride, and after getting engaged to the most wonderful man in the world I immediately began to dread looking for a dress. Years of seeing smaller brides on shows like say yes to the dress paired with my high anxiety left me nervously anticipating not being able to fit into any dresses in the shops, having to clip one on top of my clothes and not actually knowing what it would look like, and having to go to the dark, back corner to see the five plus size dresses most stores carry. Needless to say, The Curvy Bride blew me away. When you arrive you are greeted by the sweetest team of women who immediately make you feel beautiful, valued, and like family. As if it could get any better, I could fit ANY DRESS in the store! They carry their samples in plus sizes so any bride can have that magical wedding dress moment! They also can order for dresses who aren't plus size when you fall in love with one of their gorgeous gowns! The spaces where you try on dresses is closed off so you are the only one in the space which makes you feel even more comfortable. The angel on earth that is Pervin listened to everything I wanted in a dress and helped me find multiple different styles to try on. Even better, there was a sample sale going on at the time and the very first dress I tried on was the dress of my dreams and I took it home that night! The women at this store - staff and customers alike - are like your own team of hypewomen. We would run into other brides in the parking lot and it felt like we were one big family. I still can't believe how easy and actually enjoyable this process was! I came back multiple times to have my dress fitted after this and we didn't even mind driving one hour each way because these ladies are worth it! Make The Curvy Bride your first and last stop for the wedding dress of your dreams!

I found this shop through Google and was very anxious about going because as a plus size person shopping is something that is daunting for me especially since this is THE most important purchase ever. As soon as I walked into the shop my mother and I were greeted with huge smiles and we were treated well from the start. My consultant MaryAnn did anything and everything to make sure I was comfortable and let me try on everything I wanted. Thank you MaryAnn and The Curvy Bride staff for making dress shopping such a special experience!

I am so happy that I used the Curvy Bride for my wedding gown. From the second I stepped into the store, they made me feel comfortable. They allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted and they were all beautiful. I did my alterations with Lydia who was the sweetest! I had lost a lot of weight after buying my dress and it all still worked out perfectly. The staff at this store is unlike any other dress shop I've been to. They are all the SWEETEST! I just had my first appointment and got my dress here yesterday - and left the store with it! Michelle and Pervin made my experience the best ever! They were both so sweet, helpful, and encouraging - like my own personal cheerleaders! I ended up walking out with the first dress I tried on and was able to take that sample with me - it was an impeccably beautiful Stella York. I could not recommend the overall experience anymore! Can’t wait to see you ladies again in March for my first fitting!

The Curvy Bride is AMAZING!! As a curvy bride, I initially dreaded going wedding dress shopping because I knew many stores would not carry many dresses in my size. When I went to The Curvy Bride, I was amazed at how many I could try on that not only fit, but looked so good on me! I felt so confident and so happy that I found my dress here. I just got married this past weekend on May 22, 2021, and I'm just in love with my dress. I will definitely be sharing pictures when I get them back from my photographer. Thank you again Curvy bride. Not only did the Curvy Bride treat me like a total VIP for my initial appointment, but I was blown away by their selection, the way they listened to what I wanted, and how they found me my DREAM dress almost immediately! I had to come back for a few fittings and alterations, but their seamstress helped me add a few details to customize the dress to my comfort and style. The end result was a breathtaking, perfectly fitted wedding gown that had my groom and guests in complete awe. They are the BEST bridal salon!!!

The most charming shop with a gorgeous selection! I found my dress in less than 20 minutes its was probably the 5th dress i tried on. The staff there are so genuine and aim to please. Alterations went smoothly and Lydia is a darling woman that goes above and beyond. Would recommend this place to any bride!

I could not recommend this bridal shop enough! I just said yes to the dress today! It was so nice having dresses that actually fit and not having to worry about the small plus size inventory like in other shops. The staff was excellent. They are all fantastic.

Went to the curvy bride for my dress the day before they were shut down due to Covid. From the moment you walk in there and greeted by their front desk gal, Pervin, it makes you feel comfortable. I had Maryann she was so pleasant and helpful. Everything I showed to her in pictures she found it for me or something similar. She did not pressure me into anything or rush me during the appointment. She let me try on the dresses multiple times just to make sure my dress was really my one. And it was it was the most beautiful dress. They helped me pick out a headpiece and veil but also did not pressure me into buying them, which for me is the best thing in the world, I’m easily turned off by pushing and will just leave. But these ladies are wonderful they make you feel like you have known them forever. Did my alterations there as well and Lydia is the sweetest woman I have ever met. She did a wonderful job on my dress!

Curvy Bride was the second salon that I went to when looking for a dress. I had a dishearting first experience between the consultant not listening to what I was looking for and trying to squeeze me into dresses that I couldn't even get over my hips. When I went to Curvy Bride, the consultant took the time to listen to me! She pulled all of what she had that fit the description I was looking for and the second dress I tried was the one! Not once did I feel like I was rushed or felt uncomfortable putting on any of the dresses for the curves that I have. Then working with Lydia was amazing for all of my alterations! I recommend this shop to anyone!!!

Make this store a MUST when shopping for a wedding dress!!! The sales associates, owner, and tailor are THE best (a lot better than Castle C.. ) if your looking for a great experience and a place where EVERY DRESS FITS — come here.

I first went to the Curvy Bride after a few other stores in July of 2019. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming! They accommodate my group of 5 people. My mom got lost and the CB team jumped in and helped her when her GPS failed her - I will forever be thankful for their patience! I tried on probably 10 dresses - and ended up with a dress I fell in love with from Essense of Australia! I loved the little celebration toast at the end of my visit! The dress came in a few months later - I had my first fitting at the end of January which went super well! The 2nd fitting happened 2nd weekend in March which wehen places first started to close for COVID-19 - we were able to have a very enjoyable experience - even with all the weirdness of keeping distance and sanitizing everything. When I had to postpone my wedding - they were extremely helpful and understanding! We ended up having a small ceremony on August 1st - so I had my last dress fitting mid-July. They had wonderful protocols in place (limiting the number of people in store, calling when arriving, temperature checks, distancing…); I felt very safe, and they made me feel so welcome and comfortable! The dress fit wonderfully! I was so happy with my experience there, and appreciate their kindness and wonderful business practices!

Actually, I was convinced I would never find a dress that would make me feel beautiful or fit my budget. Well here I found BOTH. . Infact I was stuck between 2 dresses because I loved them both so much. The sales associate P & the owner Michele were such a pleasure to work with. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was being upsold. The dresses here are absolutely gorgeous (as is the location itself) This was exactly the bridal experience every woman deserves. And for the record my dress was under 1k and had all the aspects I was looking for (lace, a line, designer) I would drive 3hrs here if I had to. They are AMAZING.

The CB Team provided a positively unforgettable wedding dress experience for me and my family this weekend. I was honestly dreading this part of the wedding process for many reasons (also hello, Quarantine 15) but the minute I walked into the boutique my stress melted away. They’re a small local business with an important mission for plus size women, but they go the extra mile to making you feel welcome and safe; their attention to safety precautions in the age of COVID and an immaculate shopping space made us feel comfortable and respected... it even just SMELLED amazing! Their commitment to inclusivity allowed me to try on anything in the store, and I was never made to feel inadequate because of my shape. They take the time to build relationships with their clients which is enough to celebrate, let alone their generosity of spirit. If anyone asks me, this is the only place to go for bridal appointments! The consultant, Maryanne, and the owner, Michelle, will not only provide unwavering and outstanding professional support as you shop, but they will become your fast friends. They not only remained my professional confidants throughout the process, but the relationship we’ve built is reflected in the care they’ve taken with us. Their patience and overwhelming generosity in providing extra time and financial relief where they could is so appreciated. I’m grateful for all that they do. I am beaming whenever I think of this day. The wedding dress “yes” is such a special moment for many, and I will never forget mine at the Curvy Bride. I’m not only looking forward to seeing my dress again when it arrives, but also these lovely women!

My experience at the curvy bride was unlike any other. Michelle and Pervin were amazing through the whole process. I utilized the mobile try at home dresses and Michelle and Pervin went above and beyond to allow me to have my dream dress. They are both the kindest people I've meet through this experience. I can't recommend this place enough. They will go above and beyond to make sure your happy and have exactly what you want! They found exactly what I was looking for the first try!

We went to The Curvy Bride today hopeful to find a dress. Between the pandemic and the torrential rain we were hopeful that something would go right. As soon as we walked in the door a feeling of peace and happiness washed over us! I have had an absolutely amazing experience so far with the Curvy Bride. I made my appointment for the beginning of June & unfortunately was not able to have it due to COVID. They scheduled me very shortly after non-essential businesses were allowed to open in New Jersey. The overall communication was great & showed me that they cared about me & my experience. The day of, I was greeted at the door by the staff (I was the only one there for awhile) & the owner, Michelle, helped me throughout my appointment. She actually chose the dress that I decided on. They really know what they’re doing & take your budget, style, and personality into consideration. I had some serious anxiety about being a “plus-size” bride & finding a dress that made me feel confident/beautiful. I can honestly say that every dress that I tried on looked great. They have a lot of different styles for different taste! I ended up buying my dress, a belt, my veil, and am adding straps to my dress all in one day. Also, if you buy the sample dress off the rack, you getting money off. That’s what I did! I would highly recommend going to the Curvy Bride.

I bought my dress from curvy bride! they make you feel so special and dedicate their time to you in a way that David's and other stores dont really try to. they also rushed my dress because we were trying to get married before my fiancee's father passed. they are understanding and more than willing to make you feel like you're their priority!

I would absolutely recommend this to any curvy bride. Maryann was AMAZING!! My mom and I were the only ones in the shop and while the appointments were 90 min online I think we spent about 2.5 hours, they take their time, really make you feel comfortable, beautiful and welcome. PS the dresses are STUNNING!!

I went to Curvy Bride for my wedding dress, I knew how great Michelle, the owner, was based on the experience that my sister had there 5 years prior. During my appointment I must have tried on upwards of 10 or more dresses, and the woman helping me was so patient and kind. I ended up ordering a beautiful Essense of Australia gown which I fell in love with. Overall, I had a great experience at Curvy Bride and highly recommend this shop!

knew I wanted to look for my wedding dress at The Curvy Bride even before I got engaged. The idea that there was a place that catered to plus sized brides was so amazing to me. I booked an appointment to try on dresses exactly a year before my wedding. Paige, my consultant, was amazing. She pulled several dresses I had seen on their website plus a few more she thought would work for my shape. I ended up falling in love with the first dress I tried on and ordered it that day. It arrived in the time frame promised and I started alterations with their in house seamstress, Lydia. She not only made sure the dress fit perfectly and had the appropriate length hem but added an amazing bustle. I was absolutely in love with my wedding dress and I cannot thank The Curvy Bride enough for making me feel beautiful!

I went to The Curvy Bride after a long day of trying on dresses at other bridal salons. I was getting very frustrated that the other bridal salons were not listening to me and kept putting me in dresses that looked like I was making my quinceanera (I'm a larger girl but that didn't mean I didn't want to look sexy on my big day). When I got to The Curvy Bride I explained what I was looking for and immediately they brought me 6 dresses in the style I had been looking for all morning. The best part about the whole experience was ALL THE DRESSES WERE IN MY SIZE OR LARGER. What a difference that makes when you're trying on wedding dresses. It was a hard choice but I finally selected one of their dresses. I couldn't have been happier with the dress - it worked out perfect for the day and everyone loved it.
