I think that was one of the big selling points for me for the day. It was a buffet taco bar but it wasn’t like every other wedding catering you get, like I said, fresh. Lauryn was the lead for our day and she was so so wonderful!!! She worked closely with our venue coordinator to make sure everything went off smoothly. She checked in with us throughout the night and all of their Delish Dish staff were wonderful and kind. I seriously can’t say enough good things about them. BOOK THEM!!! You won’t regret it, between the food and their staff they made our day that much better.

I could not have been happier with the way the table settings, service and meal turned out. Everything was beautiful, and exactly how my husband and I imagined it. Even going as far to make drink lists for the bars so our guests were super clear on what was available. - Day of we were blown away. Everyone told us to not worry about catering because people will only remember it if it is bad, but I am here to tell you that is not the case, they will remember it when it extraordinary. Everyone LOVED our appetizers - the mini grilled cheese shooters, glazed bacon, and gouda apricot balls. Not only were they delicious, but hot coming out (a comment we heard from MANY guest during happy hour). We also loved that they reserved some of each at our table setting to ensure we got to have them on our wedding day. In addition the main course was just AMAZING. We had an option with the gluten free chicken (with apples and onions) or the bourbon glazed beef with mashed potatoes and green beens. We had SEVERAL guests ask us if there was no shows for seconds and I have given her number out to six (6) people personally who want this meal made for the holidays. Needless to say we were delighted to take leftovers home and have not told our families that we got them so we can enjoy them ourselves (sorry not sorry). They also made the desserts - mini cheesecakes, s'more shooters, brownies, and mini apple pies - all that were GONE that night, as they were perfect fall desserts. I heard RAVE reviews about it all during the night. - While the team was amazing with organization, details, and the food itself I need to comment on the service. Everyone was served quickly and on time - another comment that was made to us by several people. NET: If you are having an event, Mavis and her team at Delish Dish are a no brainer. We did a buffet because it worked best with our venue/head count and everything went perfectly on our wedding day; we received nothing but compliments on everything from the happy hour appetizers and our fall-inspired meal options. Mavis's team was even able to create a custom meal plate for grandma who doesn't like a lot of seasoning as well as separate plates for our vegan friends. This was one of the first decisions we made with regards to planning our wedding and we are so happy we picked The Delish Dish!!! We are still getting compliments even 6 months later. Jenna helped us with our rental bar, made working with party source for alcohol a breeze and quickly helped with adding heaters for our frigid fall wedding. Their bartenders and staff were so incredible throughout the entire evening. Our guests were amazed by everything the Delish dish provided. I am so so happy we booked them, you absolutely should too.

Mavis’s experience in the industry enabled her to give us the guidance to rent additional tent accessories at the last minute to make sure our guests were comfortable despite the weather. Her staff maintained the highest level of professionalism and positive attitudes, despite the wet weather and mud. Delish Dish provided so much more than just food! We would hire them again in a heartbeat and would recommend to friends and family.

While most of what they do is "behind the scenes", I REALLY appreciated the fact every team member embraced their job. They worked hard, and you could tell they actually wanted to be there - they actually wanted to help, hence why they had our backs without us even asking! 4.) My mom took care of the nitty gritty details, but from what I know with planning for the day of, she was VERY impressed - and she has extremely high expectations. They are so trustworthy & reliable, and literally just took over, and did everything drink & food related, which means SO much to a stressed out bride & her mom!!!

As if the Delish Dish hadn’t already knocked it out of the ball park, we asked if they would provide us with individual mini jars of Mavis’s amazing jams AND her pastry chef made homemade “Buckeye’s” (that they individually hand wrapped with ribbon to match our wedding colors) for our guest favors. They placed the sweet treats in decorative boxes, transported them for us and placed them at every guest’s place setting! It was perfect! Thank you so much for going above and beyond, again and again! We can’t say enough good things about our experience’s working with the Delish Dish. We only wish we could give you more than 5 stars! . She fell in love with Mavis' website and menu selection, so I set up an appointment with her for a bridal consultation. This was what sold me on the Delish Dish. From the moment we met, I knew I was going to love Mavis and Jenna. They are friendly, professional, fun, and really love what they do. We talked through our guest list of potentially picky eaters, our desire to have a vegetarian option, and to keep with seasonal flavors. They pointed out our best bets and let my (now) husband and I make all the calls. The taste testing was amazing, and somehow the food at the actual wedding was even better. It was magic. Mavis' catering staff was professional and courteous. They even made sure my husband and I had a plate of appetizers since we missed the cocktail hour due to photos. Speaking of cocktail hour, they custom made two different cocktails for us. They were amazing. We received rave reviews from even the pickiest eater and snobbiest drinker. I could keep going into technical detail about everything that I LOVED about working with Mavis and Jenna... their fast response to emails, their patience when I wasn't fast to respond and needing reminding, their advice, their excitement and energy over our wedding, the line by line breakdown of cost so we knew where every penny was being spent, her flexibility in flatware and silverware to save money, the fact that they clean up after the event... I could go on and on. But honestly, at the end of the day you will want to have good food and great drinks for you and your guests. Look no further. The Delish Dish has it. And it is, in fact, delish.

Many of my guests are extremely particular with very high standards, and thankfully, The Delish Dish met my expectations at every turn. I received only favorable feedback about the quality of the cuisine. The service provided by her chef, sous chef, and bartender was also amazing. Topping off the evening, I was able to provide guests with their choice of Mavis' homemade jams. We bought our own top shelf liquor but had Mavis's team bartend. The bartender Stacey was very professional and friendly all night. Was very glad to have her. Finally, I have to mention that we originally planned to have an outdoor wedding in a large tent. There was a hurricane that weekend and we scrambled to find another venue last minute. Mavis worked with us the 2 days before hand to adjust to the new venue and they were very flexible despite some significant challenges with the new venue. In the end, very please with price, quality and professionalism of Mavis and her staff. The food was excellent and we would DEFINITELY hire Mavis again!

We selected a buffet style dinner, as our wedding only had about 100 guests. The strawberry salad was incredibly fresh and so tasty. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the butternut squash lasagna was amazing, and was perfect for our non-meat eating guests. The sides (mashed potatoes and summer veggies) were tasty as well. The biscuit bar was amazing. Mavis did an incredible job selecting jams to go with her various biscuit flavors. It was certainly a highlight of the night. We were so pleased we decided to work with Mavis and her team for our wedding. Our guests are still talking about the food at our wedding !

My husband isn't a big dessert person but LOVES key lime pie, I chose donuts and had those done separately but towards the end of the night Jenna came out with a small little package of key lime pie bites just for him! He was so touched by them remembering! We can't rave enough. Our guests also commented we had the best food they had ever had at a wedding! Thank you for being amazing Delish Dish!
