About this vendor
Rooted in Irish heritage and shaped by the vibrant culture, creativity and community of Washington DC, The Dupont Circle offers an experience that moves with cosmopolitan rhythm yet remains unmistakably local—giving guests and authentic taste of the capital. It’s a hotel for travelers who want to feel the city, not just see it. Just beyond our doors the city unfolds with world-class museums, renowned theaters and a culinary scene as diverse and dynamic as DC itself. Echoing Washington’s golden age of the 1950s and ‘60s, the hotel’s contemporary design nods to mid-century glamour—think ice-cold martinis and effortless sophistication. Inside, every comfort is thoughtfully curated, every detail intentionally designed, and every gesture infused with the warmth and generosity of our Irish spirit.

The Dupont Circle Hotel was the perfect location for our wedding reception! David was an absolute pleasure to work with, and his attention to detail made planning a breeze even tho...
ugh I was out of the country for all but the final few weeks before the wedding. The entire staff was welcoming, professional and extremely helpful from the moment you walked through the door. Food, accommodation and location can't be beat!
We held our daughter's wedding at Dupont Circle Hotel three weeks ago. It couldn't have been more perfect. David Houde planned the entire event down to the minute; he was sensati...
onal. We had the ceremony in the Glover Park Room, the after-ceremony reception in the Foxhall Room, and the dinner/dancing reception in the Dupont Ballroom.
The entire facility is wonderful, from the front desk staff to the rooms to the event spaces. The hotel itself is beautiful; the staff is incredibly professional and welcoming. We and our guests were given a very compelling hotel room rate for the wedding weekend. My wife and I were upgraded to a suite (totally unexpected), with a bottle of wine and fruit awaiting us.
We met with David the day before the wedding. He discussed each and every detail with us. He introduced us to the food and beverage manager. Both David and James were there during the entire wedding and reception, overseeing the execution of the plan.
The wedding was intricately planned and perfectly executed. No detail was overlooked. Dupont Circle let us use their wireless sound system for the ceremony (perfect); there was a fire in the fireplace for the after-ceremony reception; the bar service and hors d'oeuvres were fantastic.
The dinner service was efficient, and the food was excellent. Wine service continued during the meal, followed by resumption of bar service during the dance hours. The band closed out the reception at 11:00. David reserved a corner of the Dupont Circle bar for partygoers who wanted to continue the celebration after the event.
One more important detail: the hotel dining room serves excellent food, and it is reasonably priced. I never felt like we were being taken advantage of regarding food/beverage prices in the hotel dining room. Although there are obviously hundreds of dining choices in the Dupont Circle area, you really don't have to leave the hotel to get excellent food.
I felt that we received excellent value for our investment in Dupont Circle Hotel for Carrie's wedding. For a single price, you get so much, and you can't beat the personal touch of David Houde and his staff. You really can't go wrong here. Look no further for a really excellent venue for your wedding.
My daughter Marissa and (now) husband Dave's wedding this past weekend was a resounding success thanks in great part to the banquet and hotel staff at The Dupont Circle, guided by ...
the very able management of David Houde , Director of Catering & Event Sales. David Houde generously provided his time, considerable expertise, and very visible and unwavering support before, leading up to the event, and throughout the weekend. Since this was a destination wedding for a couple who reside away in the NY/NJ area, logistics were more challenging than usual. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel, and everyone was very happy with accommodations, services, and staff attention. The ballroom provided the perfect setting for a 170-guest formal affair, with just the right balance of dance floor, table space, and movement for a fun party. Cocktails were held in a lovely room adjacent to ballroom, with a perfect foyer in between to provide a separate, private party environment for the affair. We also held a brunch in another event room the following morning which wrapped up a perfect weekend for everyone who attended. Thank you from all of us to David Houde and the entire staff at the hotel. We had a perfect wedding to remember for all the years to come.
We just had our wedding at the Dupont Circle and Melissa, the banquet coordinator, could not have been more accommodating and responsive to my concerns. They really shined on the w...
eekend of the actual event. My entire family, my husband, and my husband's family all felt like they received personal attention and excellent, top notch care. The event was amazing and the day-of banquet manager Brett was unbelievable! It all went off without a hitch and I was so amazed with their professionalism and care. It is a luxury, boutique hotel that delivered an elite class of service for a very elegant event. I am so appreciative!
My husband and I had our wedding block at The Dupont Circle Hotel and it was an amazing experience but mainly because of Will, the manager. Most of the front desk staff were friend...
ly, with the exception of one woman, who was quite rude when we asked if our room was available for early check in. She seemed very annoyed we were asking a very normal request. However, I’d give the Dupont Circle Hotel five stars mainly because , Will was outstanding; he truly understands his customers. He allowed me and my bridesmaids to check into our bridal suite early which was HUGE since I had just a regular room the evening before. As far as the rooms, they were recently upgraded and are very clean and beautiful and worth the price, which I think is very reasonable for downtown DC. The suites are very expensive but this is also expected of DC; and if you’re a bride and groom, I highly recommend staying in a suite with a balcony. My wedding party and I were up until 5 AM the night of our wedding just partying and enjoying the amazing view. We got absolutely no noise complaints. Overall, we very highly recommend the Dupont Circle Hotel as a wedding block and can’t speak enough kind works of Will.
