I work in the event industry and am so thankful for the spectacular service that NHCC provided. Brittany was our coordinator and set my mind at ease from start to finish - seriously the best human and event professional. t of her way to assure us that everything would be great, scheduled calls, and met with us. On our wedding day, Desi was beyond incredible and did so much more than we could have ever imagined! From set up, to talking to vendors, to keeping the wedding party organized, she did so much work. As the groom we probably spoke every 20 minutes that day making sure everything was perfect. We had a few hiccups with guest not coming or coming without Rsvping which complicated our plated meals and assigned seating. Desi told me about it and we got it taken care of right away and the party didn't miss a beat! Without Desi, our wedding would not have been the dream that it was!
All of the rest of the staff at NHCC was great as well. From Brittany helping us in the beginning and during our planner transition, hotel staff, bartenders, set up, everyone was great. The property was beautiful, for our fall wedding and a summer wedding that we attended. The food was great. Bar on site to go to after the wedding. Nice rooms for you and guests to stay in. We could not recommend this place enough. And make sure you ask for Desi!! She was so thorough, so detail oriented, so focused on making our day perfect. And she did, and we will be forever grateful for that!

Numerous family and friends complimented the dinner food from NHCC as well. All of the other vendors we worked with were really familiar with the Edgewater venue and had nothing but praise for the venue so we realized we made a smart decision by going with them. No complaints to speak of.

We looked at many venues in Columbus, but the cost, quality of food/drink, and quality of the venue space/hotel, is incomparable to the other venues. The customer service provided by all of the staff members was incredible. The staff and event team is highly organized and they did a fabulous job communicating with us and bringing our reception vision to life. very detail of the wedding weekend and answered every question no matter the time of year or time in the day. The food tasting was also incredible and a wonderful way to bring both our parents together and get excited about the day. Highly recommend this venue to anyone!! The only negative feedback we got from our guests was when the pub closed at midnight the worker was rude to them when asking them to leave, and a recommendation is to request guest rooms next to each other. Tiffany B. and the event staff at NHCC – Brittany M., Kristen B. Emma K. – thought of every detail so I didn’t have to – and I didn’t! From menu, to linens, to lighting, to timeline, they handled everything, and I mean EVERYTHING so all I had to do was show up, say “I do!” and enjoy myself!! The entire staff at NHCC made me and my guests feel like we were the most important people there and any request we put to them, they handled immediately and graciously! You might price your event at NHCC and think that you can ‘do better’ somewhere else. But I encourage you to consider your time and your peace of mind when determining what fits into your budget. The day before my wedding, I had lunch with my family and dinner with all my out-of-town guests. The day of my wedding I had breakfast with friends and family, went to church, had lunch with my guests and enjoyed a leisurely ‘getting ready’ with my bridal party. I didn’t have to run around, pick anything up, answer any questions, see to any details. My time was much better spent enjoying myself and leaving the event handling to the professionals!
Basic details: the hotel rooms are comfortable, clean. The food is wonderful! The venue is lovely – we celebrated in the Edgewater. The staff is responsive and warm.
I don’t plan to get married again, but if I did, I’d call Tiffany and the team at Nationwide in a heartbeat!

ered promptly and they worked with us every step of the way. Brittany made the rehearsal seamless and go so smoothly without a hickup. And she printed our vows since we forgot to do that, even in that, she put 100% and made them on cardstock and everything.
On my wedding day i had my guests come to me to tell me how amazing Brittany was at coordinating and making sure everything was covered. I didnt need to worry about anything. AND at the end of the night, they sent all of our stuff boxed up in our get ready room from the venue. This is trully an amazing venue and their coordinators are fantastic.

Brittany was our day of coordinator, and she is literally the BEST! We had zero issues the entire weekend and I was as relaxed as I could be knowing that everything was in her extremely capable hands. She is also the sweetest human and truly felt like a friend. We had both our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there (which were both so wonderful, we can't recommend having a cozy and intimate rehearsal dinner in the Northpointe Study enough!!) and then our ceremony and reception were in the Edgewater Room (also SO cozy and beautiful!). It was so, so, so amazing to arrive on Friday afternoon for rehearsal and be in one place the entire weekend, and our guests also really appreciated being able to walk to their room rather than having to find a safe ride home or to a hotel. The staff the entire weekend was just incredible, they truly thought of everything and were so sweet! The rooms are beautiful and so nice, the food is outstanding, and the location is perfect for out of town guests. We got so many compliments from guests about how lovely the weekend was, mostly about the hotel, staff, and food. You will never regret booking Nationwide for your wedding!

The outdoor wedding on the Tennessee Lawn gave a great outdoor touch and the Grand Ballroom was perfect for a wedding our size (240ish). Not only was the venue great, but our wedding coordinator, Brittany, was amazing as well. The Edgewater venue itself is really beautiful and easy to use for weddings. We were able to have our ceremony outside and it was a very easy transition for guests to go from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing since everything is on-site.
I thought the contract pricing was very transparent and the initial guess of the total cost was within a few hundred dollars of our actual final amount. The venue was also great about rescheduling to 2021 due to COVID-19.
The cherry on top was coming back to our suite after the reception and finding champagne, desserts, and leftover meals from dinner waiting for us in the fridge!
We are so so happy we chose Edgewater for our wedding and would absolutely recommend it to other couples!

The staff decorated which was also a huge plus as we only had to worry about drop off and pick up Sunday. The food was fantastic and we received many compliments about how great our food was from our guests. This was actually also the only venue we toured in person, as the pandemic was in full swing when we got engaged. A comforting factor is that this business does not rely on weddings to get by. It’s run by a massive insurance company and everything was handled extremely professionally during the planning process. I also want to put a plug in for Brittany, who handled all the meetings, contact, and planning with us for the majority of the time leading up to the wedding before she got promoted. Her attention to detail is impeccable and we felt in great hands as she was always prompt to respond to questions and is a true subject matter expert in all things wedding! Anyway, we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and highly recommend this venue for any couple searching for a beautiful wedding day. Even my vendors complimented nationwide as one of their favorites to work with due to the professionalism, food, and beautiful landscaping.

Kristen was everything on my wedding day. She was so patient with the constant last minute changes. She guided us throughout the entire day while running around making sure our day ran smooth. That girl is a rockstar!! From leaving behind the boutonnieres, to needing some eyelash glue, to keeping us in the timeline, she was there. Our day wouldn't have been the same without her.

Planning a wedding during a global pandemic was a challenge, but NHCC was extremely flexible with us when we chose to downsize our wedding from 150 to 35 guests - they even let us lower our minimum payment amount so we weren’t stuck paying for a large wedding that we weren’t going to end up having! On the day of our wedding the girls used the green Meadows/ hospitality suite to get ready. It was just enough space for hair, make-up, and snacks throughout the day. If this is available, it’s worth every penny!
Our dinner was amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests that not only was it delicious, but it was still hot when it hit their tables!
We had one mishap, our cake did not arrive on time. However, Kristen and her team went above and beyond to make sure that we not only had a cake to cut, but that we had something similar to what we had chosen.
We had quite a few guests drop off our guest list and want to social distance during the reception. They made place cards reminding people to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Our older crowd was very pleased with their precautions. We still had a blast on the dance floor!

uple who came to NHCC following Dock 580 and were originally supposed to be married in May. So we experienced both being a "COVID" couple and had to deal with switching venues last minute due to the closure of Dock 580. Brittany and Kristen could not have been more perfect. It was honestly a blessing in disguise. Brittany met with us for our first meeting ~1 month and a couple weeks before our actual date and was so incredibly helpful and patient during what could have been a hard transition with such little notice. Everything went smoothly for the meeting and on our big day. Additionally, every guest we talked to LOVED the food and the venue. 10/10 would recommend and am so thankful that we actually had to switch venues. It led us to NHCC where we honestly had a perfect day.

She even provided dates the ballroom was having weddings and allowed us to pop in before the wedding started so we could see how they decorated. Our wedding turned out to be scheduled for during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, and Brittany and Jaime were SO prompt in helping us reschedule - we were able to find a new date that worked for everyone in only a few hours due to their responsiveness. She was able to take the vision I had for my wedding and make it even more beautiful than I had expected. The front desk was very pleasant, the ambiance of the hotel was wonderful, and the food was INCREDIBLE. Our wedding vendors were very familiar with NHCC, and the staff made it very easy for them to drop items off/set everything up. I did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day, including the rain! NHCC has so many beautiful indoor spots and outdoor spots that are sheltered from the rain for photo opportunities. My photographer was so excited about the location. The Pub was a huge added bonus as well. The bartenders were able to easily handle my very large (and very rambunctious) extended family, and they had a blast. Overall, my family raved about the entire wedding weekend. But more importantly, my husband and I firmly believe that the weekend could not have gone better. We are so, SO grateful for Brittany and the wonderful staff who helped make sure our wedding weekend was perfect!

The food is delicious, the wait staff was great, everyone made sure that I had all information. The day after the wedding we started loading up our cars with all the wedding decor and I realized I was missing a couple of things. I went to the front desk and they were able to find my missing items.

side of the Columbus area and were going to need to travel in for the weekend. NW HCC offered the most convenient package possible. From having the hotel attached to the reception hall, to the pub on the grounds after the party (our family likes to have a gooood time!), tons of free onsite parking, to the delicious breakfast buffet in the morning - it was all perfect. This is all without mentioning that every one of the venue spaces are absolutely gorgeous. Another perk is the beauty of the grounds - you don't even need to travel to get good pictures! And even if you do, Highbanks Metropark is literally across the street for more awesome scenery (we took pictures there, too). I have not one complaint and all the food was to die for. Every guest we've spoken to just raved about NW HCC as the venue (food, accommodations, etc). I'm so thankful we chose Nationwide!

ou use their caterer for food it is not that great, but their food was one of the best parts of the wedding. There was lots of food. We had a cocktail hour, buffet dinner and pizza as a late evening snack. It was all terrific! Nationwide has its own on site coordinator, which took set-up and tear down off myself and my family. They did everything for us. This made our wedding day stress free. The day of the wedding both my husband and I got ready at the hotel. The hotel is very nice and has room blocks for you and your guests. Be aware their are only 4 carts for the entire hotel, which made it difficult when two wedding parties were both trying to checkout before 11am. My hair and make-up came to the hotel. It was so nice having everything in one place and then after the reception I did not have to worry about anyone drinking and driving. Everyone could have a good time and then stumble back to their rooms. The onsite coordinators have done many weddings, which makes it super simple because they know what works best in each space. They are also able to give you photo ideas as well. I would highly recommend Nationwide; it is worth the money.

Bryan had told us initially was not guaranteed. Overall they did accommodate a lot for us which I know other venues wouldn't have. I do have to say they charge for absolutely everything. Even though they try to make sure your day is the best, you really need to be sure you are willing to spend! We had a total of 280 guests. Food was absolutely amazing! As latinos, we eat a ton of rice, so we asked whether some of the sides could be replaced with extra rice and they said yes. The servers were very kind and very attentive to us and our guest. Only thing that went wrong was that the air conditioning stopped working the day of the wedding, they said they could not get it fixed, so by the end we were all pouring in sweat and my hair was a mess! The bride and groom complimentary room was amazing! They had fruit and cake from our reception waiting for us in the room. They also knew we do not drink any alcoholic beverages, so they kindly saved us two bottles of our sparkling juice and left it all in the fridge of our room.

Not only were they so kind and helpful, the days leading up to the actual wedding I didn't need to lift a finger. I was able to bring my decorations and ceremony items in a box, hand it off the night before with instructions of what was needed, and they handled the rest. The food was AMAZING! Cannot stress that enough. My guests still talk about how great their dinners were. The venue is beautiful. We had a September wedding and the grounds were gorgeous in the pictures. The pub located within the venue was an added bonus. We moved the party there after the reception came to an end and also spent a good deal of time there the night before the wedding with guests that were staying in the hotel. The hotel itself was also a great feature. Because we had both our ceremony and reception in one place, we were able to spend the entire weekend there. Being able to check in on Friday and not have to leave until Sunday took so much stress off of the day not needing to arrange travel plans or make sure guests know where to go. NHCC honestly made our wedding day so stress free and fun. Choose this venue and you will be disappointed :)

The food was incredible, the staff decorated and set up exactly to my specifications, and Lisa was always there to promptly answer any questions we had. The staff was incredible, and went the extra mile for not only the head table, but all the guests (even giving milk to the parents of one of our kiddos to put in his bottle at the end of the night). Every staff member that we had contact with during the entire planning process was extremely friendly, professional, and responsive to our questions. This includes Bryan Wright in sales, Lisa Sullivan our main point person, Kate V, members of the accounting department and serving staff during our tasting. Our guests gave rave reviews of the food, the hotel rooms, the venue itself and the quality of the service at Nationwide. We felt very well taken care of by Lisa Sullivan, particularly in the week leading up to our wedding.
Our only critique would be that the info on the website about seating capacity with a dance floor be included on the weddings page, not just the private events page.
After all is said and done, we highly recommend Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center for wedding receptions!! In addition, we used several vendors mentioned on their website, which were excellent recommendations (Open Image Studio, Madison House Designs, The Ride).

It is a destination wedding right in Columbus, Ohio without the "hotel" venue feel. Kate was always available and ready to suggest and help quickly with any question or issue that I had come up. I felt as if I could ask anything of her and she would give me a straight answer without any negative or authoritative tone. I would find it very hard to believe that any client would have an issue with her and her work.
The food was wonderful. Many guests have specifically commented on how nice it was to have such great food, as most weddings that is not always a strong suit. They loved the fact that they didn't have to wait for us to eat and the options were suitable for everyone. The Pub and the breakfast were a nice amenity to have available as we took full advantage of that perk.

We were blown away with all the little details they do for you and once we checked into the hotel we did not have to worry at all about the reception. Every staff member we encountered- hotel staff, servers, bartenders at the reception, cleaning staff, shuttle driver were so helpful and friendly! The only thing negative thing I have to say is for our experience at The Pub (bar at the hotel) the night before our wedding (Thurs night), the 2 ladies bartending were incredibly rude. We had family in town and our wedding party met there, they both were annoyed and overwhelmed (even though it was not busy) when anyone of our group went up to order. I am not sure if they were just filling in but they did not seem like the were used to working there or that they liked it. Just wanted to point this out since the rest of the staff was amazing and they were a definitive sour note the night before our wedding. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful and perfect, and they did an excellent job flipping the ceremony space into the reception hall.
We heard from a majority of our guests how nice it was that everything was in one spot - the ceremony, the reception & they even have a hotel on site (with super nice rooms) so guests didn't have to worry about driving anywhere. Another perk is that they have The Pub on site - a place for people to go to after the reception is over if they don't want to call it a night quite yet. I know a lot of our guests went over there after the reception and closed the place down.
Another thing we’ve heard from a lot of our guests (and I have to say that we agree) is how delicious the food is at NW Hotel & Conference Center! They provide all of the food for cocktail hour, dinner & late night snacks – and it was all delicious.

Afterwords, we moved indoors for the cocktail hour followed by the reception. The food was Fantastic!! All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The reception space was elegantly set up and the service could not have been better!
