We couldn’t be happier with our decision to host our wedding shower at the Endicott Estate! The venue was perfect for our afternoon tea party theme. The historic charm of the estate, combined with its stunning outdoor spaces, created the ideal backdrop for our celebration.
We were blessed with a beautiful day in early June, allowing our guests to enjoy the lovely patio while taking in the serene surroundings. The kids had an absolute blast running around on the expansive lawn, which added a wonderful, carefree energy to the event.
The staff was professional and accommodating, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The venue's timeless elegance and versatility made it easy to create a memorable experience for all. If you’re looking for a picturesque, versatile, and unique space for your special occasion, we wholeheartedly recommend the Endicott Estate!
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. The Endicott Estate exceeded our expectations in every way. The overall look of the estate created an enchanting atmosphere that perfectly captured our dark fairytale vision. The whole team was professional, and accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew we had found the ideal place to celebrate our special day.
Dory, Kathleen, and Erin at the Endicott Estate made our wedding day perfect. They fit our rehearsal and decor pickup/drop offs into their schedule despite being fully booked with events. The whole day was absolutely perfect thanks to Dory’s hard work and direction. At the last minute we had to move our ceremony location because of the wind and she helped direct and get things done very efficiently. We were absolutely blown away with how easy and smooth our day went and we couldn’t have done it without their help. We are ecstatic about our choice for a venue and would recommend the Endicott to anyone looking for a beautiful high class wedding.
Kathleen and Erin were great to work with! They have a great knowledge of the vendors in the area and helped suggest things that were within our budget. They also were very easy to communicate with even though we were planning long distance. The estate is beautiful and in amazing condition. All of our pictures turned out amazing and the wedding night was spectacular!
Everyone we worked with at the estate was super communicative and helpful. They coordinated with the food vendor really well, gave great layout suggestions, and looked beautiful with minimal decor! Our wedding was around 70 people, and there was a ton of space on the dancefloor. We did not have to rent extra furniture because the venue provided. This venue is a great value, and everything went as expected the day of.
The perfect venue for a winter wedding!! The Endicott is a charming historical venue, owned by the town of Dedham. It has quite a fascinating history if you look it up and several areas to photograph, inside and out! The location is convenient since it is 30 minutes from Boston. Plus there are several hotels to choose from if you go with this venue. We chose to do both the ceremony and reception there, making it easy for guests to stay in one location. This maximized the time for socializing and celebrating!
We had 70 guests total and this venue was the perfect size! It didn’t feel too cramped and all our guests were able to move freely around the estate. When you book this venue, it is yours for the entire duration of your contract. You aren’t sharing with other weddings! The Endicott also provided tables and chairs, which helped keep costs down. For seating we used 4, 48 inch tables plus 6, 60 inch tables. The 60 inch tables hold 8-10 people per table, while the 48 inch can have up to 6-8 people per table. You can fit a total of nine tables in the ballroom (Endicott’s largest room) plus a sweetheart table for two. This worked out well since we had the sweetheart table positioned in front of the fireplace and we were able to see and talk to all guests with ease after dinner.
The estate not only has a ballroom but also a library, music room, mirror room and dining room on the first floor. Upstairs there are two bridal sweets, which are beautiful to take portraits in. Our wedding ceremony started at 4:30pm, an hour before sunset and the estate glowed in the sunlight! For timing, this venue has a 5 hour contract. So from the time your ceremony starts, the clock begins and will end after 5 hours. Although, it is possible to extend your contract for a fee per hour up until midnight. Also keep in mind when serving alcohol there is a strict 4 hours and 30 minute clock right when your cocktail hour begins, so if you have the bar open at 5pm, it will close at 9:30pm.
Another thing to mention is that this venue allows “alcohol on consignment” through Gordon’s Liquors, which really helped us keep costs down. You essentially pay for what you use and can return full cases of beer and unopened bottles of wine and liquor. Not many venues allowed this type of contract and we were very grateful they allowed this! We had Tastings cater and bartend our wedding and would highly recommend this set up to others!
Finally, Erin and Kathleen were great to work with and answered several questions over the course of many months. They provided a list of approved vendors and worked with our DJ and Photographer who weren’t called out on their list. We didn’t have any issues and would highly recommend this venue since the staff is lovely, the pricing was the best among historic sites, and the charm of the estate is hard to beat!
We had our wedding here in August 2023 and it was absolutely perfect. Finding a venue (while living out of state) was the most stressful part of wedding planning - once we booked with Endicott, everything got SO much easier. We worked primarily with Erin, who is just so lovely! She gave us a bunch of recommendations - we booked almost all of our vendors from her (extensive) list. This made it super easy because most everyone knew the venue and were able to chat logistics months in advance.
I don’t need to tell you how stunning this place is, but it truly was magical. The whole property was ours for the day, so the wedding party came in early to get ready and relax. Plus, we had a space for my husband and I to take a private moment after the ceremony. The grounds have so many locations for photos. They also have space in the basement for you to drop off your stuff (we had lots of decorations and provided all of our own alcohol) a few days before the actual wedding - total lifesaver.
We ended up having about a hundred guests, which I think is probably the limit for an indoor reception. You could squeeze a few more tables, but it was pretty tight as it was. Any more than that and I’d say get a tent for the lawn.
The last thing to mention is the price. Endicott Estate is really affordable, especially since you get to choose your own vendors. We ended up saving SO much money by skipping the venues with in-home catering and just booking everything separately. And you get the whole property for the day without breaking the bank. It’s not as “convenient” to organize everything yourself, but Erin and Kathleen helped us through every step of the process. You can tell that the staff at Endicott really enjoys what they do. Everything was fabulous and I’d highly recommend booking this venue!
Wow. This venue was everything we could have wanted for our big day!
hsi was the 5th venue we saw when looking for places and we left knowing we had found the one! It is so unique and was perfect for our mid-sized wedding of 100 guests.
Erin is SO helpful and super responsive. She answered every question I had and provided great suggestions! The bridal suite is so beautiful! Per the contract, you can only access it 2 hrs prior to the ceremony which is unfortunate because being able to do hair and makeup in there would have been a dream! The lighting is PERFECT! But honestly, its still so worth it! There isnt a day of coordinator but between Endicott's and the caterer, everything I needed, got done. I highly recommend this venue! It's different and one of a kind!
My husband and I cannot express how wonderful our wedding was here. The coordinator, Erin, was a delight to work with throughout the whole process, very accommodating, and very attentive. We loved that we had access to the entire estate for the ceremony, reception, and a few hours beforehand to get ready. There are so many different areas on the estate (inside and outside) to choose from to do photos as well. Our vision was more vintage (china, lace, and pearls), and the Endicott Estate was perfect for it. One guest told us they felt like they went back in time and that was amazing to hear.
We also chose the Endicott because we were able to accommodate our large guest list by having our event indoors and outdoors. Cocktail hour was a mix of both, dinner underneath the tent, and then dancing indoors. We wanted our wedding to have more of a casual feel to it and doing it this way certainly helped.
Some things to note though are that you do need to bring vendors in from their preferred list and do all the coordinating yourselves. There were many great vendors to choose from and all the vendors we hired through the Estate were five stars. If you have an outdoor event, a tent rental will be needed. There is also a strict end time for the event as the estate is located in a residential neighborhood.
The Endicott Estate was a dream!! The venue itself is truly stunning with gorgeous character for any wedding or celebration. It was such a magical place for our wedding, we loved working with Erin and her team to make our wedding so special. They were so accommodating throughout the whole process - from the very beginning with our venue tour, to the countless emails and walk through visit. Everything was so seamless, professional and such a perfect place for our wedding.
My husband and I got married at the Endicott Estate after we snagged a last-minute cancellation in covid. Erin was so sweet and helpful, from the moment I called her I knew she was going to bring the positive + fun energy a covid bride who changed venues 3 times needed. The whole day was perfect, low-key, low-stress, affordable and beautiful. Thank you, Erin!!
My husband and I drive by the estate on an almost weekly basis as it’s on our way to family and decided we wanted to get married there before we had ever stepped inside. We are so happy we did because it made for the perfect winter wedding with the decor, the lighting, and the all around intimacy of the space. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how lovely it was and we are so grateful to have had our day there. Erin was so helpful with recommendations and flexible with all of our requests, making the whole lead up to the day (and the breakdown of the space) so much easier for us to manage. Now every time we drive by it’s even more special. 😊
Beyond Perfect Venue!
I was married at The Endicott Estate a few weeks ago, and I could go on forever about how amazing this experience was! Not just because of my stunning bride, but everyone at The Endicott Estate truly made this day one we will never forget. They were communicative, attentive, and so easy to work with. They truly love what they do and it shows in everything from beginning to end. They were extremely professional and guided us even in the days after our event.
Rented for a wedding.
Beautiful venue.
Wedding coordinator was not great. The one we met with was not present during the wedding and her assistant was left to work the wedding.
There were a lot of details that were overlooked or not mentioned. We were told we could leave everything over night to be picked up the next morning. Instead we were forced to take a lot of decorations with us as the night ended. We were told we had to take the top to our wedding cake ( which ended up getting thrown out because it didn't fit in the hotel fridge) because they "didn't have room in their fridge as they had an event the next day. We told them we didn't have room for it in the hotel fridge. We were not told any of this before hand so we didn't make any arrangements. So we had a bride and groom leaving our wedding hands full with everything we could. The bride didnt get to have any of her own wedding cake and will not get to have this oppurtunity now.
There were also promises made during the intial meetings which seemed like they were said just to get you to book.
Endicott Estate was a perfect venue for us! This was one of my wife's top choices from the get go, and when we toured it we were sold. It's close enough to Boston that our out of towners could get there relatively easily, and the grounds are beautiful! Erin (one of the caretakers) was great to work with and answered all of our questions up to the day of. The layout is really cool, with a lot of different rooms that have a lot of character to them. It was perfect for our wedding, which didn't have the normal "assigned seating", so we could put tables outside on the porches, as well as some high top tables to have the 'mingling' vibe that we wanted! All the guests enjoyed seeing the setup of the mirror room, all the old hardwood, and the beautiful landscape outside. The weather was perfect for our day, a nice sunny and not too hot late spring afternoon, which allowed us to get married under the willow tree. Sound was great indoors for the DJ as well. Would definitely recommend this venue for anyone!!!
we had our beautiful fall wedding and reception at this venue. The grounds are beautiful its the perfect for photos. However if you are looking to be inside its not ideal the space its small and our guests are in separate rooms unless you are having no more than 50 people max its not the venue for a large wedding we made it work we had 130 people in 3 rooms and it was SUPER tight! I could not make it around the rooms as the tables were so close together. The staff was professional however the venue offers ZERO help they pushed their rules all 1 million of them they also didn't tell our cater about a very random training course until about 20 days to the wedding was mandatory, and costs an additional $150. They also don't allow anyone in the venue until 3hours before (and no there are no other events the day of your event) and thats really not enough time to set up before guests arrive. I was told later about comments made by the staff to my vendors making demands or comments about my guests. The venue is considered "historic" so there are many "rules" to "preserve" the space in other words look but dont touch - seen not heard dont walk tip toe its just not a venue for a wedding so for that I wouldn't recommend this venue.
The Endicott Estate was a perfect fit for our wedding! We didn't think any venue with "estate" in the name would fit our budget, but it was well under what we had planned on spending, and included lots of features that more expensive venues didn't (on-site ceremony, private space for bridal party, chairs and tables provided).
Erin, the site manager, was extremely kind and helpful. She never pressured us to spend more than we were comfortable spending, and gave us suggestions for catering and vendors that would help us stay on budget.
The historic house is beautiful and elegant without any decoration. And since it was once a family home, it fit the relaxed tone that we wanted for our small, intimate wedding celebration. For weddings under 100 guests, I cannot imagine a better choice!
We really loved the ability to pick our own vendors from their prefered list. I was worried about set up/clean up, as I didn't have a wedding cordinator, but everything went perfectly planned with our caterers help. Staff was helpful and supportive through the whole event.
The space is truely beautiful and allowed us to have a different type of event - it felt like we were hosting at a home. I could keep writing forever about how much we loved The Endicott Estate :)
5.0
This is a beautiful place and I am so so happy that we had our wedding here. The inside feels like a fairytale, with beautiful rooms (one is a complete mirror room) and dark furniture and antique books. The upstairs is absolutely beautiful for getting ready (marble bathrooms too!!). Also, Erin and her colleagues are extremely responsive and easy to work with. At the last minute, we had to use the indoors for our ceremony, as it was raining, and you would have thought we had planned it all along. I highly recommend this place!
We had our wedding here in June and we LOVED this venue!! We like a lot of options and wanted a very personalized wedding, and this was the perfect setting. Beautiful trees outside (we had our ceremony under the willow tree- the sun came out for us!), a gorgeous porch for the bar, and an indoor setting with several smaller absolutely beautifully decorated rooms for our guests. The mirror room was beyond gorgeous for our cake!!
We worked with Erin, Sheila, and Dorrie during the planning process and they were all extremely helpful and knowledgable. They have all worked here for a long time and are experts! They were all quick to respond to emails and calls and always provided very helpful recommendations (from bartenders to dj to where to get my nails done the week of the wedding!). We were planning from out of town and they never missed a beat. We had a vision for the wedding, and they helped us bring it to life and fill in the gaps. They also provided creative solutions to our seating arrangements and food choices for an indoor reception of 150 guests.
As a bride looking for venues I would 100% recommend this place, it was just beautiful and enchanting.
A few things to note that you should consider before booking: you really have to bring in most vendors, so this is best for the DIY aficionado and bride who likes to plan- or do yourself a favor and hire a day planner. Because this is a town property and historical venue, there are several limitations, such as time restrictions on the day of the wedding, vendors must have certain licenses, police detail is needed, etc. Also be prepared for a lot of coordination between everyone when scheduling site visits and dropoffs, vendor arrivals, etc because of limited working hours and any other events going on. Sheila and Erin were always accommodating, just know it takes some extra effort. This is a special venue, and it has special rules. :)
Overall we had a joyous wedding, and we were very happy to have our magical day at Endicott Estate!
My husband and I had our wedding at the Endicott Estate in November and it could not have been more perfect! Erin and Sheila were both very helpful and were always able to answer our questions. Their responses and suggestions were prompt and helpful.
We had our ceremony in the Music Room at the Endicott Estate and were able to fit all of our 70 guests. We were able to do pictures both inside and outside, all over the estate. The Endicott Estate is beautiful and has so much warmth and character. Our guests loved the feel of the venue and were intrigued by all that it had to offer. We received many compliments that this was the best wedding they had ever been to.
The Endicott Estate is a beautiful and unique venue and an ideal spot for weddings. I could not recommend this venue more highly.
When touring the Endicott Estates my now husband and I fell in love with it and knew we had to have our wedding reception there. We loved the history to the mansion and the sole behind it. In the planning stages Erin was a pleasure to work with and made the planning process easy. She gave great suggestions. What we loved about this venue was that we could pick everything we wanted and could really personalize our wedding. Our guests said they loved how cozy the mansion was and that it provided a more personal touch to our wedding. We caught guests sneaking around the house to check out what it all looked like. We were able to pictures around the whole venue of family and friends which was a nice touch. We closed in one of the porches to have 50 people (half our guests) sit out there for dinner. We also had a bunch of outdoor games that everyone enjoyed playing during cocktail hour. Dory was there the night of our wedding and was so nice and helpful.
The Endicott Estate is a beautiful historic venue, with so many modern amenities to make wedding planning easy; plenty of parking and restrooms, covered porches, lovely rooms and furnishings, air conditioning, gorgeous lawns, and very helpful staff! Sheila, Erin, and Dory were all great. Sheila was especially helpful on our first tour of the house and during our preparations the day before the wedding, and Dory was onsite the evening of our event and was so cheerful and positive, making sure everything went smoothly. Endicott was a brilliant setting for our wedding, and we're really glad we picked it!
Endicott Estate was the first venue that we visited, and we fell in love with it. The house is beautiful with a lot of character. And we liked that you had the option to do the ceremony indoors or outdoors. Given the unpredictability of weather in the Boston area, this was really important to us. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Estate in April 2017. Our wedding day turned out to be rainy and cold, and while we had hoped to do the ceremony outdoors, it was lovely indoors. Erin was really great to work with. We were planning the wedding from out of state, and she made the process very easy. She was always promptly responsive to my emails. She was very accommodating and really worked with us. We had 81 guests, and we were able to fit all the tables in the main ballroom, with a sweetheart table at the landing. The venue was really cozy and intimate.
The Endicott Estate is an absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding! For Christmastime it is already decorated by the estate for the season and decorations can't be removed, but I couldn't have been happier as it complimented our color scheme and made everything feel so festive and fun for our 12/30 wedding. There are multiple rooms which makes it really great for mingling and no one stays in their seats after dinner is over! The entire staff was amazing and so fantastic to work with. They were flexible with having my in-laws come and tour around since I was planning from far away and provided us with so much information. For planning from afar, they made me feel at ease that everything was going as planned and were always available and informative when I had questions.
We worked with both Shelia and Erin, and they are AMAZING. We are from out of town and were able to set up appointments for my parents to see the venue, and they allowed us to Facetime in so we could see everything virtually before making our decision. Once we booked our date, both Shelia and Erin were available for our endless questions and always responded in a very timely manner.
The Endicott Estate is an incredible place to get married. It has so much character and beauty that you barely need to bring anything else in to decorate. There are endless picturesque spots throughout the estate (inside and out) to take amazing pictures. We were lucky enough to get perfect weather for an outdoor spring wedding, but the staff was ready to go with an indoor backup plan if necessary.
The Estate has huge (and separate) bride and groom rooms for everyone to get ready in upstairs that are out of the way and provide the opportunity for private moments before the wedding. The unique layout of the house allowed us to create an open and intimate reception, where people could dance if they want to, have a drink on the porch, or sit in the house and relax.
This was the absolute perfect place to get married!!!
The Endicott Estate was the most perfect venue we could have ever hoped for. Elegant and glamorous, the venue's open layout gave us the opportunity to use multiple rooms simultaneously, including the fantastic portico. We ended up with terrific weather and were able to hold the ceremony outside, but the Endicott was fully prepared to move the ceremony inside if needed and has both indoor and outdoor ceremony chairs on site.
Since the Endicott is not tied to a particular caterer or beverage company, we were able to select the caterer of our choice at no additional cost (unlike most of the other venues we explored) and purchased our alcohol on consignment from a local liquor store.
Erin and her team were easy to work with and accommodating of our quite detailed logistical plans for the event. They facilitated our dropping items off before the wedding and picking them up at our convenience and did a fantastic job coordinating with our other vendors.
A beautiful venue! I loved the flexibility of being able to choose my own vendors, especially the caterer. Being able to choose your own vendors saves so much money, compared to these bundled venues. I was able to see the venue a few times before my wedding - they arranged for an additional walkthrough before the rehearsal, and also allowed me to drop off decorations at the rehearsal so I didn't have to worry about bringing them with me on the day of the wedding.
I worked with Erin throughout the planning process. Communication for most of the planning process usually had a 24-hour turn around time, but in the last 2 months leading up to my wedding, when I really needed specific input about the venue itself, Erin really came through and was available to answer all of my questions very quickly by both phone and email. She was also invaluable at helping me come up with a rain plan when the weather took a turn for the ugly a few days before my wedding - she really knows the venue and how to best use that space.
Overall, I am extremely glad we chose the Endicott - it looks beautiful in my photos, and the team there did an excellent job!
The Endicott estate was a great venue for our recent wedding. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and we had so much positive feedback from guests. The staff are super easy to get in touch with for questions and last-minute changes. Overall, they are quite accommodating, and will help you along the way!
Erin and the whole team at the Endicott Estate were extremely easy to work with. We were planning our wedding from 1000mi away and Erin helped recommend our florist and justice of the peace (both were exceptional). We loved how beautiful the estate is but how easy it was to feel like home for one night. The house has enough beauty that you don't need to spend as much time on flowers and decorations as a typical event hall, which was important to us. We also were sold by the handicap accessibility of the building for the bride's sister in a wheelchair. Erin answered all of our questions in a timely matter which is important when planning from afar. We would not have gone a table over the 120 we had at our wedding if you plan to do dinner inside.
My wife and I got married at the Endicott Estate this past Saturday and all I can say is if you are looking for a beautiful, vintage theme you do not need to look any further than here. First off Erin, Sheila and Dory are phenomenal! Each of them worked to answer all of our questions starting from when we booked the venue last March to days after the wedding. From the first day we saw the venue last February we knew this was the place my wife and I wanted to get married at. Erin accommodated EVERYTHING WE NEEDED and always gave us suggestions and ideas for the flow of events. We worked with Russell Morin's for the catering and Gordon's Liquors in Waltham for the beverage catering. Both catering companies were recommended by Erin and we are thrilled that we went with them. This venue speaks for itself and is an absolute gem inside and out. I know the next time we need to host an event that the Endicott Estate will be our top choice!
We loved our wedding at the Endicott Estate. We had to do everything ourselves--but that meant we could customize as much as we wanted. Erin, Sheila and Dori were all so helpful and had great suggestions for vendors and advice on planning. We had our ceremony outside by the gazebo, with dinner in a tent and dancing and cocktails in the house. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, convenient place to get married! I definitely would recommend it to anyone looking to get married in MA.
We used the Endicott Estate for both our ceremony and reception. There are a number of places to choose from for the ceremony, and we chose the gazebo which we loved. We then had our reception outside on the patio and inside the house. We really liked the different options of where everything could take place. A big draw for us was that we could fit all of our 80 guests into the ballroom for a seated dinner. Much larger weddings are held there too, and there's an option to tent. We loved working with Erin! One thing I would recommend is to check who will be the day-of coordinator working the day of your wedding. We worked with someone else we hadn't met, and there was confusion around being able to have flower petals on the ground. Everything worked out ok, but I wish our details were shared with the person working that day. Another reason we chose the Endicott is because you can work with a package store like Gordon's and they will deliver all of your alcohol. This was a huge money saver for us! You're can also choose your own caterer, so there are more options food-wise for you to choose from. Overall we loved the venue and were thrilled we chose it.
Our wedding was May 24, 2014 and the Endicott was a perfect setting for our wedding. It was beautiful and romantic. All of our guests loved the different idea of having the wedding in a mansion and utilizing multiple rooms. We even used both porches for the bar and cigar roller. Erin was a joy to work with and was very helpful in the planning.
Where do I begin..... My fiance and I toured many unique venues before deciding on this quintessential New England mansion where we were able to hold both the ceremony and reception for our 142 guests. The space was warm and inviting and the bridal suite was an added bonus!! The location was perfect as my family is from Boston and his, from Connecticut. The planning process was seamless. We were even able to choose our own caterer!
Our wedding was on a gorgeous September afternoon with cocktails on the covered porch and dinner and dancing in the mansion. This was the wedding I had always dreamed of.. right down to every detail. The grounds were beautiful and my guests are still raving about the grandeur!
We had our wedding here, at the beautiful, Endicott Estate and loved it! We used both inside and out for our event and it couldn't have turned out better. We got married by the wonderful weeping willow tree that is there on the grounds and then proceeded inside for the cocktail hour. We had our dinner outside and then back inside for dancing. It was great because our guest got to enjoy both the spacious grounds and the magnificent mansion! I wish I could do it all over again! The Endicott Estate was great and so are the awesome staff that work here. So helpful. I would highly recommend having a wedding here!
It really was exactly what we were looking for! We wanted a venue that represented historic Boston so we looked into historic mansions in the area. The main issues we kept running into were that many of those venues didn't have the capacity to fit all of our guests in one room and they also did not have the flexibility of bringing in the caterer of our choice (we wanted a traditional New England clambake to match the Bostonian feel).
The Endicott Estate met all of our needs! The elegant ballroom fit the majority of our guests, and the library where we put the remainder of our guests opens up to the ballroom so that it felt like one big room. We were able to put our sweetheart table in between the two rooms on a landing so that we could see everyone (and they could see us!) during the entire reception. We got to choose our own caterer, and communication between the Endicott staff and our caterer was easy and seamless.
We had our ceremony outside in front of the Estate's gazebo, but there were a handful of other beautiful areas on-site that we were thinking about getting married. The venue offers several amenities - bride and groom rooms, vintage furniture, tables and chairs (outside ceremony chairs and indoor reception chairs). New carpet was also recently installed right before our wedding in April 2013.
The Endicott Estate is an amazing, affordable venue that fit our vintage, homey, New England wedding perfectly.
My husband and I were married at the Endicott Estate this past March 2013. Our wedding was almost 100% indoors- our guests use the patios of the estate to get some air but we didn't even have tables outside. We had a total of 133 people at our wedding for a cocktail reception (no sit down dinner)-- heavy appetizers, desserts and cocktails. We had our ceremony in the ballroom-- there were some people that did have to stand for the ceremony but it was short enough that it wasn't a concern for us. When the ceremony was over the ballroom ceremony area flipped to the dance floor. Tables and chairs are included with the estate and the chairs are new and really nice. There are also pieces of furniture that you can utilize at the estate (dining room table, chairs, etc). Since the house has a big elegant homey feel we decorated the estate with flowers and personal framed photos that lined the bookshelves and the mantels. The house is so beautiful if you are considering an estate wedding I would highly recommend tha tyou take a tour.
Erin Perron at the Estate was very easy to work with and I loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors. We had a lot of flexibility with the caterer but less flexibility choosing the bar service. In comparison to other estates Endicott was very affordable to book and within our small budget.
The main reason I chose the estate is that parking was easy for guests, it was beautiful, elegant and cozy and I thought it would be a great backdrop for the entire day (ceremony and reception). The pictures at the estate turned out amazing...we had a big group photo on the side of the house with the house as the background...it was gorgeous. Another plus were the bride and grooms suites upstairs...also very elegant and great locations for pictures.
I would absolutley refer any friend of mine to the Endicott Estate...and if I had to do it all over I would not have changed a thing!
The estate is beautiful and the staff is very helpful! The inside of the house is classic looking with wood finishes. The house itself provides an amazing atmosphere, that doesn't require a huge amount of decoration. Also the bride and groom suites upstairs to get ready in are beautiful. Check out the amazing marble bathroom!
My ceremony was going to be outside next to a weeping willow. It had to be moved inside due to rain. I ended up having it on the back porch. The caterer had put up chairs on the porch and into the music room for guests. It was perfect! The pictures from our ceremony looked beautiful. After the ceremony the chairs were removed for dancing.
We put all the tables for the reception in the ballroom. We also had the small east st porch tented, so additional tables were placed out there.
I couldn't reccommend this venue enough. I loved every part of my wedding here!
I could not have asked for a better venue. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept and the gazebo is a perfect spot to have a ceremony. There are so many gorgeous places for pictures including an onsite greenhouse and so many beautiful trees. Not to mention, the inside was just as great with an open layout perfect for entertaining! I recommend the Endicott Estate to anyone planning a wedding in the area :)
Great place and hospital folks! The place was perfect and the guests had a blast. The people that manage the venue are equally as nice and are willing to help and assist anyway possible. We had a wonderful time and venue itself is beautiful!!
I loved the Endicott Estate for its layout. The grounds were beautiful (simple, but green) and the house is well maintained. There is a large ballroom and dining room inside the estate along with several other rooms (i.e. a libary, a music room, a mirrorer room). We used the ballroom for the ceremony and then for the band a some dining tables. The dining room was used for the buffet. The other rooms were used for dining tables with the exception of the mirrored room, which held the desserts/coffee and gifts.
Upstairs is ideal for bridal party to get ready...huge rooms, 2 bathrooms and a Vogue photoshoot look to the decore.
Another great feature are the porches! The largest porch looks out onto the lawn - perfect for cocktail hour! There is another side porch that we would have used for seating had it not rained on the wedding day.
Even with the rain, inside sat 120 people very comfortably. The property has plenty of space if you wanted an outdoor ceremony, a tent on the lawn, or an all-indoor event.
Everything is a la carte here, although you have to use one of their 2 or 3 approved bartenders - they wouldn't allow our caterers to bartend. The staff is also hard to contact sometimes, but overall they were fine.
